Oat flour was purchased and investigated for quality characteristics of oat bread. Antioxidant and flour pasting properties of oat flour, and water content, weight, volume, Hunter color value, texture of bread were measured. DPPH radical scavenging capacity (%) of oat extract was 68.49%. Pasting temperature of oat flour ranged between $66.60^{\circ}C$ and $70.93^{\circ}C$. Flour pasting properties of sample added with 10 and 30% oat flour was shown similar results compared with wheat flour. Final viscosity of sample was increased by adding concentration of oat flour (up to 311.65 RVA). Water content (%) of bread was shown increasing trend by adding oat flour. Weight of bread loaf with 100% oat flour was shown higher score than other samples. Volume of loaf by adding oat flour of 10, 30, and 50 % ratio was 550, 450, and 388 mL, respectively. The Hunter color $L^*$ values of bread by adding oat flour was dark compared with wheat bread. Color value of bread added 10% oat flour was similar results with $L^*$ values of bread with wheat flour. The bread added with 20 and 30% oat flours had the higher hardness, gumminess, and chewiness compared with other samples. Cohesiveness of the bread with wheat flour showed higher than that of bread added with oat flour and increased by storage period. The growth of total viable cell was inhibited depending on the concentration of oat flour during storage.

The determination of the natural frequencies and mode shapes for thin conical shell is an important step not only in the investigation of the dynamic response of the composite structures such as missile cone, mose firings, but also in the analysis of the acoustic behavior of bells. A Rayleigh-Ritz procedure was used to determine the natural frequencies for a certain class of mode shapes of a thin conical shell built in on the edge with the smaller radius and free on the other edge. Both bending and extensional energy are included in the analysis. This paper described the experiments on the two natural frequencies which are present in association with two preferential modal directions, as a result of imperfection of the thin conical shell. Experimental work was conducted on two different bronze conical shells. One of these was specially designed to the effects of the adding distributed mass to the end of the conical shell. The other shells were identical in all dimensions except that of the thickness to the end of the conical shell. In this paper, the effect of a adding mass to a conical shell was investigated. Experimental result was that the magnitude of the natural frequency rate and the increase of depth of beat frequency depend upon the location of adding lumped mass on the surface of the conical shell.
A $3{\times}4$ (chromium and L-carnitine) experiment was designed to investigate the single and interactive effects of adding yeast Cr and L-carnitine to corn-soybean meal diets on lipid metabolism of broiler chickens. Four hundred and eighty one-day-old avian chickens were randomly allocated to 12 treatments of 40 each for 7 weeks. Levels of adding Cr were 0, 400, $600{\mu}g/kg$ and those of Lcarnitine was 0, 30, 50, 100 mg/kg, respectively. The result showed that adding $600{\mu}g/kg$ Cr or 100 mg/kg L-carnitine alone had better regulative effects on fat and cholesterol metabolism than lower adding levels. Effects were more significant at the end of the experiment. There were significantly interactive effects between Cr and L-carnitine on triaclyglycerol, whole cholesterol, HDL, dissociating FFA, and blood glucose, cholesterol and triaclyglycerol of liver, and cholesterol of chest muscle at the end of experiment (p=0.0001-0.0315). But Cr or L-carnitine had no significant effect on growth performance of broiler chickens (p>0.05).

Cheonghunhwadam-tang(CHT) have been used in oriental medicine for many centuries as a therapeutic agent of vertigo by wind, fire and phlegm. CHTGR was CHT adding Gastrodae Rhizoma. The effects of CHTGR on the regional cerebral blood flow(rCBF) and mean arterial blood pressure(MABP) is not known. A comparative Study of action-mechanism of CHT and CHTGR on the cerebral hemodynamics is not known too. Therefore, purpose of this Study was to investigate effects of CHT and CHTGR on the rCBF and MABP, compare action-mechanism of CHT and CHTGR on the rCBF and MABP. The changes of rCBF and BP was determinated by Laser-Doppler Flowmetry(LDF). The results were as follows ; CHT extract was increased rCBF in a dose-dependent, but was not changed MABP compared with CHT non-treated group. CHTGR extract was decreased rCBF and MABP compared with CHTGR non-treated group in a dose-dependent. Action of CHT is not related with adrenergic β-receptor, cyclooxygenase and guanylate cyclase, but action of CHTGR is related with guanylate cyclase.
When engine oil is used under severe running condition, the Lubricational characteristics is very important. I have studied the Lubricational characteristics with Compound Additives of engine oil for the Falex wear test machine. Adding detergent (Ca-phenate) to engine oil, the seizure is more improved than in case of non-adding, and adding Zn-DTP (Zinc dialkyl dithio phosphate), the extreme pressure property is excellent at the high load. But when the PTFE (Polytetra Fluoro Ethylene) and MoS$_{2}$ (Molybdenum disulfide) are added, the temperature characteristics and the anti-wear property become excellent because the stability can be maintained in a high temperature. The result are as follows, it can be improved that when the compound of the Ca-phenate and Zn-DTP, MoS$_{2}$, PTFE, etc. was added to engine oil, the lubrication characteristics become better. It is argued that it is improved because of excellence of the anti-wear, the extreame pressure properties and the heat stability.

This study discusses the fundamental properties of high performance concrete and autogenous drying shrinkage with the kinds and the adding amount of superplasticizer. According to results, drying shrinkage hardly shows differences by the kinds of superplasticizer, and is reduced with an increase of the adding ratio. Autogenous shrinkage is reduced in order of HP>HN>HM, but does not make a big difference. As the adding amount of superplasticizer increases, autogenous shrinkage is reduced due to a decrease of cement content which influences on autogenous shrinkage seriously.
This study was performed to observe the microhardness change of the surface and the bonding strength between the porcelain and alloy specimens in order to investigate the effects of appended indium, tin and copper on interfacial properties of Au-Pd-Ag alloys. The hardness of castings was measured with a micro-Vicker's hardness tester. The interfacial shear bonding strength between alloy specimen and fused porcelain was measured with a mechanical testing system(MTS 858.20). The microhardness of Au-Pd-Ag alloy was increased by adding indium and tin, but not increased by adding copper. The shear bonding strength of Au-Pd-Ag-Sn alloy and Au-Pd-Ag-Cu alloy showed 87MPa, 57MPa. The higher concentration of adding elements showed the higher shear bonding strength.

The purpose of this study is to research and develop conducting polymer(CP) composite electrode for supercapacitor. The radius of semicircle of CP composite cell with polyaniline(PAn) composite electrode adding 30wt% acetylene black was small. The total resistance of supercapacitor cell mainly depended on internal resistance of he electrode. The discharge capacitance of supercapacitor cell with PAn composite electrode adding 30wt% acetylene black in 1st and 50th cycles was 27F/g and 31F/g at current density of 1mA/$\textrm{cm}^2$, respectively. Supercapacitor cell with PAn composite electrode adding 30wt% acetylene black showed a good cycliability. Supercapacitor cell of CP composite electrode with 1M LiClO$_4$/PC brings out god capacitor performance below 4V.
This experiment was carried out to investigate the effects of adding corn flour on the quality of rice cakes. Rice-corn cakes were prepared by adding corn flour at 25%, 50% and 75%, and the quality characteristics were measured. In the expansion ratio, springiness and cohesiveness of rice-corn cakes, the 25% group(C-25) was the highest and the 75% group(C-75) was the lowest. The higher the ratio of adding corn flour was, the lower the expansion ratio, springiness and cohesiveness were. In the hardness and chewiness of rice-corn cakes, the 75 % group(C-75) was the highest and the 25% group(C-25) was the lowest. But in the taste, texture and overall acceptance of rice-corn cakes, the 50% group(C-50) was the best.

The central issue in this particular research is the seemingly inadequate achievement of optimum performance in the construction process, either with respect to value for money for the client and the entire construction supply chain or value in terms of the utility derived from built assets in spite of efforts by government and governmental bodies such as the Construction Industry Development Board (cidb) to increase industry performance. Therefore, based upon an extensive review of related literature, the paper reports on effects and causes of non-value adding activities in the construction industry in general, and South African construction in particular. The research findings indicate that activities that can be referred to as non-value activities are not only prevalent, but they can also be held responsible for performance related issues in terms of cost, time, quality and health and safety (H&S) in construction; and the exploration of pluralism in the research methodology may result in a robust model based upon the system dynamics approach.
