The present study used multi-faceted Rasch measurement to explore the characteristics and bias patterns of non-native raters when they scored L2 writing tasks. Three raters scored 254 writing tasks written by Korean university students on two topics adapted from the TOEFL Test of Written English (TWE). The written products were assessed using a five-category rating scale (Content, Organization, Language in Use, Grammar, and Mechanics). The raters only showed a difference in severity with regard to rating categories but not in task types. Overall, the raters scored Grammar most harshly and Organization most leniently. The results also indicated several bias patterns of ratings with regard to the rating categories and task types. In rater-task bias interactions, each rater showed recurring bias patterns in their rating between two writing tasks. Analysis of rater-category bias interaction showed that the three raters revealed biased patterns across all the rating categories though they were relatively consistent in their rating. The study has implications for the importance of rater training and task selection in L2 writing assessment.

The Jakarta Provincial Government utilizes the YouTube channel to interact with citizens and enhance transparency. The purpose of this study is to explore online perceptions of local government image perceived by online audiences through the YouTube platform. The concepts of organizational image and credibility in the political image are adapted to analyze online public perceptions on the Jakarta Provincial Government image. Using the video summarization approach on Three hundred and forty-six official YouTube videos, which were uploaded from 1 March 2016 to 31 May 2016, and content analysis of Eight thousand two hundred and thirty-seven comments, this study shows both political and bureaucratic image emerge concurrently in the Jakarta Provincial Government case. The typology model is proposed to describe and explain the four image variations that occurred in the case study. Practical recommendations are suggested to manage YouTube channel as one of the social media used in the local government context.

The subjects of this study were composed of 620 $5^{th}$ and $6^{th}$ grade children in Pusan City and their parents. Both parents completed the Differentiation of Self Inventory(DSI : Skowron & Friedlander, 1998). Children completed the DSI, the Personal Authority in the Family System Questionnaire (Bray et al., 1984), and the Youth Self-Report (Archenbach, 1991). These measures were translated into Korean and adapted for children and parents; their validity was established through a preliminary survey of content validity and reliability. Results showed no meaningful correlation between parent's self-differentiation and children's self-differentiation or between parents' self-differentiation total and children's level of problem behaviors. However, Intergenerational Family Relationship and Children's Self-Differentiation influenced children's internalizing and externalizing of problem behavior.

The elastic modulus of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) can be evaluated by using composite models with experiment. In this study, Hashin's composite model was adapted to evaluate elastic modulus considering physical properties of recycled coarse aggregate (RCA) that mortar is attached. Elastic modulus testes for cement paste, mortar and recycled coarse aggregate concrete were carried out considering W/C and recycled coarse aggregate content rate. As a result, the elastic modulus of RAC was evaluated comparing with both experiment results and the existing estimation formula. Those can be used for further studies as a preliminary data.

In today's pervasive computing environments, multimedia content should be adapted to meet various conditions of network connections, terminals, and user characteristics. Scalable Video Coding (SVC) is a key solution for video communication over heterogeneous networks, where user terminals have different capabilities. This paper presents a standard-compliant approach that adapts an SVC bitstream to support multiple users. The adaptation problem is formulated as an optimization problem, focusing on the tradeoff between qualities of different spatial layers of an SVC video. Then the adaptation process is represented by standard metadata of MPEG-21, which can be solved by universal processing to enable interoperable and automatic operation. Our approach provides the users with optimal quality, a wide flexibility, and seamless adaptation. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first study that shows the adaptation tradeoff between spatial layers of a conforming SVC bitstream.

Recently, the housing market in Korea has been changed from new construction to building-stocks, and focusing on supplier to focusing on users. Open housing is a design method not only content to users' various needs but also to the means of sustainable development by adapted to longevity of buildings. There are some indicators for Open Housing related to Green Building Certification Criteria which were worked by Mock & ME. But those indicators are limited to flexible design methods. This is a basic study for the selecting of Open Housing indicators for complementation of Green Building Certification Criteria by the analysis of SI housing in Japan, domestic Green Building Labelling and those of other countries.

PBL can be defined as an active, self-directed and student-centered learning, and an opposite way of classroom teacher-centered learning which has been traditional role learning. PBL enables students think more efficiently and effectively when puzzling through the patient problems. The purpose of this study is to find out the perception of student nurse about PBL, the characteristics and the structure of the type for PBL. The research process is as follow : First, the researcher selected 35 statements for PBL with the content analysis of in depth interview and the literature review. Second, the researcher asks 38 student nurse to classify the statement cards. The result of the research is that the type of student nurse's PBL perception is divided into 4 types(Affirmative type, Negative type, Suspicious type, and Preferable type), and the explanative total variance is 44 percent. In relation to this, if PBL well combined and adapted in our traditional curriculum will change our nursing education in better direction.

This case study covers the Knowledge Management research paper that explores the clear idea about the knowledge practicesthat are used in the corporate sector to achieve the strategic advantage over the competitors. The quoted example of the three manufacturing firms TATA MOTORS, BHEL, and M&M have tried to compare the Knowledge practices in these firms, which explores the concept clearer that the competitors can use the same or the different type of knowledge practices to achieve the competitor advantages. In order to help knowledge management goals, an integrated knowledge management system consisting of the knowledge management techniques and technologies are used. The knowledge Management is supported by different techniques and practices whichare knowledge content, people skills, technology and strategy based. The technology and techniques supports these factors of knowledge management. The paper discuss different techniques and processes adapted by three Indian organizations and a comparison is made to suggest the guidelines of KM practices to manufacturing Industries.

Presently, an inductor adapted at MMIC (Monolithic Microwave Integrated Circuit) which is used for cellular phone or PHS operates at quasi-microwave range over 800 MHz. However, a W-CDMA (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access) will use about 2 GHz range. Therefore magnetic film device should be compatible up to 2 GHz. We have deposited Co-Pd-Al-O system film using rf sputtering method which is expected up to 2 GHz, and investigated the effect of Pd content and magnetic field annealing. When Pd composition is 19%, Hk was 118 Oe, and ${\mu}$′showed flat frequency characteristics up to 1.5 GHz. The Q factor (=${\mu}$′/${\mu}$") was 23.3 at 1 GHz, 6.7 at 1.5 GHz and 1.5 at 2 GHz, respectively. Resonance frequency was 2 GHz. Therefore Co-Pd-Al-O thin film could be used at over 1 GHz, and also expected as an inductor material for wide band CDMA type cellular phone.

The purpose of this research is to describe the experiences of transfer students in nursing colleges. This study was based on the qualitative content analysis. To collect qualitative data, 10 personal interviews were conducted from June 2013 to September 2014. Five sub-themes emerged from the data as follows: Participants started new challenge with self-confidence; Nursing science was difficult and unfamiliar disciplines to them; Firstly, they had no place in nursing department, but got places of their own over time; They managed to hold their own in confronting with difficulties; They consequently made personal upgrades in their life. The results of this study could guide nursing faculties to understand what kind of burdens transfer students experienced, how they had adapted to them, and how to support them to realize their full potential to grow into competent nurses.
