As the media environment changes rapidly, the size of the online advertising market is growing rapidly. However, consumer's trustfulness in online advertising is much lower than that of old media, and there is also a phenomenon of advertising avoidance. Thus, in this study, advertising skepticism, advertising appeals, involvement, and FCB Grid theory were used to provide Youtube and advertisers with implications for advertising strategies. It was intended to provide a way to lower consumer advertising avoidance. As a result of Research 1, consumers with high advertising avoidance showed low advertising attitudes, brand attitudes, and attitudes toward products. In addition, there was no difference in gender, and when the frequency of online video viewing decreased and the age increased, advertising avoidance increased. Research 2 shows that consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism showed a high level of advertising attitude when the level of involvement was low and transformational appeal was high. In the FCB Grid model, consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism are found to be suitable for transformational appeal advertising. These results mean that Youtube and advertisers should think important about advertising skepticism, which is the cause of advertising avoidance, and that consumers with high levels of advertising skepticism should be presented with advertisements suitable for each type of product in the online advertising market.
Purpose: Thisstudy aims to measure the attitudes of Generation Z in Jakarta towards advertisements containingCOVID-19 information. Research design, data and methodology: This study is a quantitative method with partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) with SMART PLS as an analytical tool. The sample size is 216 participants was obtained randomly through a questionnaire distributed online. This study consisted of exogenous variables (advertising content, value, irritation, and economic benefits), endogenous variables (attitudes towards advertising), and some moderating roles. Results: The results of thi study explain that this generation's attitude towards advertising is affected by the content and value aspects embedded in advertisements. Value can be formed from creativity in making advertising content as interesting and informative as possible. Interestingly, this study also found that the irritation aspect and economic benefits had no effect on the audience's attitude towards the advertisement. Neither the irritating aspect of advertising nor the economic value that is formed acts as a moderator of the content and the value of the ad. Conclusions: The ongoing pandemic and periodic adjustments to government policies regarding COVID-19, these results can be compared with other advertisements for future studies, especially those using the same variables as this study.

Self-image is an organized structure of perceptions of one's self and it has a direct influence on values, ideas, goals and objective. And It is generally agreed that consumers engage in buying behavior that is consistent and congruent with their self-image. With this assumptions numerous researches have prove that consumers tends to favor the brand or store image that is congruent to self-image. According to these results we can assume that self-image also can have influence on consumer's information processing, especially in advertising process. Because one of the main factor in forming the brand or store image is advertising. Thus, this study is to propose it's effect of self-image in clothing advertising process. In specifically to find out congruency between self-image and clothing ad image's influence on ad recalling, ad attitude and buying intention. And also it's difference between ideal self and actual self. This study suggested that when there is a congruency between self-image and clothing ad image, consumers have more positive attitude toward the clothing ad and have more intention to buy the products ann also can recall more frequently. Considering the characteristics of clothing goods as a symbolical goods, ideal self-image is more effective than actual self-image.

This study aims to measure the impact of these two variables on consumers' 'click-through' rates (the number of users that click on the ad compared to the number of times the ad is delivered). The result is as follows. First, search ads play a critical role in drawing consumers to advertisers' websites. Once search ads are placed, the number of visitors increased tenfold. Secondly, when search ads are keyed to highly-involved words such as 'IDC', 'hosting' and 'co-location', click-through rates significantly fluctuate according to the type of advertising message. In this case, consumers respond much more positively to ads highlighting credibility and product quality than to ads with emphasis on sales and events. Thirdly, the placement of search ads also matters. The ad placed first in the search list overpowers ads in the third or fifth place in terms of click-through rates. However, there was no significant difference of click-through rates between ads in the third place and ads in fifth. Lastly, when estimating which variable plays the bigger role in bringing traffic to advertisers' websites, consumers are more receptive to the substance of the advertising message than to its placement, under the circumstances of high involvement.

Purpose - This study was to investigate the effect of advertising attributes on advertising attitude, brand equity, and advertising effect of TV commercials of chicken franchise brand, which is one of the most popular food service brand in recent years. Research design, data, and methodology - This study aims to see the effect of advertising attributes on advertising effectiveness and the mediating effects of advertising attitude and brand equity. A total of 200 questionaire was collected, 15 respondents were discarded due to missing information. Therefore, a total of 185 respondents were used for this study. The data were analyzed using frequency analysis, confirmatory factor analysis, correlation analysis, three-step mediation regression analysis, and path analysis with SPSS 24.0 and AMOS 24.0 statistical program. Result - The results of the study are as follows. First, the effect of brand attitude on brand attitude and brand equity, brand equity and advertising effect on brand attitude, and brand equity on advertising effect were statistically significant. As a result of the mediating effect test, it was confirmed that the attitude of the ad and the brand equity mediates partly between the ad property and the advertisement effect. Conclusions - As a result of the study, it is suggested that the informativeness and notableness affect the consumers among the advertisement attributes, so that it is necessary to be able to convey the accurate information more clearly to the consumers when composing the contents of the advertisement. In other words, in the case of the advertisement of the chicken franchise brand corporation, it will be an effective advertisement campaign if it continuously transmits the correct advertisement message to the consumers in association with the brand.
For the purpose of achieving ad novelty, certain types of ads are frequently created to gain consumers' attention leaving out some of the main creative elements which have generally been considered to be important in producing ad effectiveness. Given circumstance, this experimental study examines the effects of different sets of creative elements in TV advertising; specifically, the research manipulated a TV commercial containing different types of creative elements and explored the effects on attitude towards the ad and the brand. The results are summarized as follow: Fist, there is significant difference in both ad attitude and brand attitude between two groups. The group of people who watched a TV commercial including both product & non-product related elements showed higher mean attitude towards the ad. Second, the ad with both product & non-product elements led more favorable attitude towards the ad when brand familiarity is high. Finally, the group of male participants showed more favorable attitude towards the ad with both product & non-product related elements when brand familiarity is low. Findings from this study will be able to provide a valuable contribution to the strategic decision-making process as ad agencies look for the basis for consideration of creative strategy in TV advertising.
An ad endorser's gaze direction is a salient nonverbal cue that consumers use in responding to advertisements. The gaze direction influences consumers' social perceptions (e.g., attractiveness, credibility) of the endorser and advertising effectiveness (e.g., advertising attitudes, brand attitudes). Especially, the cerebral emotional asymmetry hypothesis suggests that an ad endorser's left-averted gaze can produce more positive social perceptions and advertising effectiveness than the right-averted gaze for right-handed consumers. This study examined the effects of three gaze directions (direct, left-averted and right-averted gaze directions) of unknown female ad endorser on Korean males' advertising responses (attractiveness-, credibility- and ad-effectiveness-related responses), using online experimental method. The results indicated that the ad endorser's direct gaze was more likely to increase both positive (correspondence bias) and negative (suspicion, deceptiveness) social perceptions of her than the right-averted gaze. The direct gaze also created more positive advertising effectiveness (advertising attitudes) than the right-averted gaze. However, the study failed to find consistent differences in responses between left-averted gaze and either direct or right-averted gaze.
This study compares the relative effectiveness of affective factor(Ad attitude) and cognitive factor(Brand cognition) on brand attitude among three ad types - direct comparative, indirect comparative, and noncomparative ads. The results showed that in direct comparative advertising context the brand cognition is dominant in determining brand attitude. In indirect comparative advertising context brand cognition is also dominant in determining brand attitude, but the difference is less than direct comparative advertising. In noncomparative advertising context the ads attitude is dominant in determining brand attitude. According to research outcomes, it could be said that direct comparative advertising is more effective than indirect comparative advertising.
