청소년 노동의 실태와 노동인권 의식에 관한 연구 (A Research on Actual Conditions of Juvenile Labor and Labor Rights Consciousness)

  • 본 연구는 지역사회에서 이루어지고 있는 청소년 노동의 실태와 노동인권 의식에 관한 실태조사를 통해서 S시에 거주하는 청소년들이 경험하고 있는 노동 상황을 파악하고, 청소년들이 노동 현장에서 부딪치는 여러 가지 내용들을 통해서 청소년들이 어떤 처우를 받고, 어떻게 대응하는가에 대한 실태를 파악하고자 한다. 또한 이들 청소년들이 노동현장에서 부당한 대우를 받았을 때 어떻게 대응하는 것이 바람직한가에 대한 올바른 교육을 위한 기초 자료를 확보하는 데 있다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 전체 대상자 중 청소년 노동인 아르바이트 경험이 있는 학생이 262명 50.5%로 나타났다. 둘째, 노동인권에 대한 교육 경험이 있는 경우가 133명 24.9% 나타나서, 상대적으로 적은 학생들만이 노동인권에 대한 교육을 받은 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학생들의 아르바이트 경험에 대한 조사에서는 아르바이트를 할 때 가장 중요하게 고려하는 것은 '급여'로 응답자 중 54.2%이며, 아르바이트 구직방법은 '부모, 친구, 지인소개'가 응답자 중 67.7%이고, 최근에 경험한 아르바이트 종류는 '음식점'으로 응답자의 60.2%로 나타났다. 평균노동시간은 1일 7시간 정도이며, 주간은 20시간으로 나타나서 상대적으로 장시간을 노동에 참여하는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 청소년들의 노동 참여과정에서 근로계약서를 작성하는 경우는 응답자의 28.9%로 나타났으며, 아르바이트의 주된 목적은 '돈을 벌려고'가 응답자의 82.1%이었다. 다섯째, 아르바이트를 하면서 부당한 대우를 경험했는가에 대해서는 응답자의 24.7%가 '그렇다'라고 하였으며, 부당한 대우의 해당 사례에 대해 복수 응답하게 한 결과 '약속이외의 업무'가 17.9%로 가장 높았다. 부당한 대우에 대한 대처방법에 대해서는 '일을 그만두었다' 30.3%로 가장 높았으며, 마지막으로 청소년의 아르바이를 위해 개선되어야 할 사항에 대해 복수 응답으로 조사한 결과 '최저임금, 주휴수당 등의 임금수준'이 25.1%, '사회적 인식개선' 14.3%, '좋은 일자리 확대' 12.8%, 등으로 나타났다.

치위생(학)과 학생을 위한 치위생윤리 교과목 콘텐츠 개발에 대한 연구 (Development of contents for dental hygiene ethics subjects for dental hygiene students)

  • Background: This study aimed to create and present content that can be used in the dental hygiene ethics process to help dental hygiene students develop desirable work ethics and ethical values. Methods: In order to operate the dental hygiene ethics course in all academic systems, one three-year dental hygiene professor and one four-year dental hygiene professor participated in setting core competencies and learning goals for the dental hygiene ethics course. The class consisted of two credits, two hours of theoretical classes, and class activity sheets developed according to the learning contents and learning topics for each week that can be operated for 15 weeks. Results: The contents of the dental hygiene ethics subject were developed to be conducted as theoretical education and case-oriented discussion classes. The 15-week class consisted of a theory lecture on dental hygiene work ethics (eight weeks), discussions and presentations for ethical decisions based on actual cases related to dental hygiene ethics (four weeks), and the design and presentation of individual professional mission statements and codes of conduct (three weeks). The class data for each week consisted of four stages: "Learning goal-thinking," "open-thinking," "learning content-thinking," and "according to learning goal." Conclusions: In order to establish desirable workplace ethics and ethical values for dental hygiene students, it is necessary to approach education in a way that values understanding and application of dental hygiene practices, legal and ethical standards, ethical decision-making models, and ethical principles.

The Opinions of Some Dental Hygienists about Improvement of Korean Dental Hygiene Education

  • This study's aim was to investigate their opinions to improve the educational system for dental hygienists on the basis of their duties as dental hygienists. The qualitative study was conducted among 19 dental hygienists at Daejeon, Korea from July to August 2016. Two researchers followed each subject for working hours in a day and recorded all the tasks and time to take for each task. After one day, the researchers met each subject and conducted face-to-face interviews to investigate the opinions about the dental hygiene curriculum and national board examination. The main duties recognized by more than half of the subjects were oral disease prevention including scaling and dental treatment assistance. The subjects' minority opinion about the main duties included radiography, impression taking, dental implant surgery assistance, orthodontic treatment, patient counseling, dental management and staff management, and oral health education. The most important tasks perceived by the subjects were prosthetic and implant impressions, scaling and implant surgery assistance. The subjects' minority opinion about the most important duties included patient counseling and making temporary crowns. The most difficult tasks answered by the subjects were prosthetic and implant impressions and dental implant surgery assistance. The subjects' minority opinion about it included patient counseling, scaling, and making temporary crowns. They mentioned that their curriculum in college was different from the actual work and the national board examination was not reflective of their real duties. We found out Korean dental hygienists had a lot of roles as dental assistants, dental business managers, and so on. We suggest that the law, curriculum and national board examination for dental hygienists should be revised to be able to reflect the reality of the clinical field.

철도 승무교번 배치를 위한 유전알고리즘 적용방안 (Application of Genetic Algorithm for Railway Crew Rostering)

  • 철도 승무원 교번표 작성은 보통 한 달을 주기로 승무원에게 기 작성된 승무다이아를 근무 기준에 맞게 배치하는 작업으로 균등한 사업 시간을 갖도록 작성해야 한다. 본 연구는 기존 철도 운영시에 승무 교번작성과 관련된 문제점을 파악하고, 승무 운영의 합리적 계획 시에 적용할 수 있는 최적화된 승무 교번표 작성 방안을 제시하고 있다. 이를 위해 실제 철도운영기관의 근무 기준을 파악하였으며, 실제 근무패턴을 고려한 교번표 작성 및 유전알고리즘을 통한 최적화 과정을 통해 균등한 사업 시간을 갖는 교번표를 도출하고자 하였다. 교번표 최적화 과정은 입력데이터 분석, 근무패턴생성, 해생성, 최적화 단계로 구성하였으며, 최적화 단계에서는 유전알고리즘을 적용하여 교번표를 도출하는 방안을 제시하였다. 또한 연구에서 제시한 과정을 통해 도출한 교번표와 수작업으로 작성된 교번표의 차이를 비교하여 연구에서 제시한 방안을 검증하고 있다. 연구에서 제시한 승무교번 배치 방안은 사업시간의 표준편차 최소화를 목적함수로 하였으므로 교번 작성시 사업시간 편차를 감소시키는 방법론으로 활용성이 기대된다.

산업용 방진마스크 등급 및 착용시간이 작업자에게 미치는 영향 : 주관적 불편 수준 (Effects of Grade and Wearing Time of Industrial Filtering Facepiece Respirator on Workers: Subjective Discomfort Level)

  • Objectives: As the time spent wearing masks has increased with spread of COVID-19, various research related to masks have been reported. However, there are still few experiments on the physiological response of the body to wearing industrial dust masks in South Korea. Considering the actual working hours at the work site, it is necessary to investigate the comfort of industrial dust masks. Therefore, this study aims to confirm the change in subjective discomfort level according to the wearing time for industrial dust masks in South Korea that have been certified for safety by KCS. Methods: This study evaluated subjective discomfort level over four hours. The experimental conditions were five types: not worn (control group), special grade, first grade, second grade (with valve), and second grade (without valve). The subjective discomfort levels were classified for breathing, warmth (body and face) and wetness (body and face). Subjects recorded their discomfort level on a checklist every one hour. Results: In special grade and second grade (without valve), the discomfort level in terms of breathing, warmth (face), and wetness (face) was significantly higher than that of the control group. However, the effects of all kinds of industrial dust masks on the discomfort level in the body were low. Conclusions: Since this study was conducted on subjects working in an office with a comfortable working environment, it is difficult to apply it to workers at actual industrial sites. However, it is considered meaningful as the first clinical study to evaluate the subjective level of discomfort over a long time for domestic industrial dust masks that have been certified for safety by KCS.

컴퓨터 및 스마트폰 사용이 근골격계질환으로 인한 업무능력 저하에 미치는 영향 : 근골격계 질환의 매개효과 (The Effect of using Computer & Smart-phone on Decreased Work Efficiency due to Musculoskeletal Disorders ; Mediating Effect of Perceived Musculoskeletal Disorders)

  • Purpose - Average using time of smart-phone for Korean people is 3 hours 39 minutes and most people who are using a computer at home and their workplace can be affected over force to neck and shoulder due to unstable body posture. musculoskeletal disorders which caused by unstable body posture can affect strongly to decrease work efficiency. So this research is designed to measure the effect of using computer & smart-phone on decreased work efficiency due to musculoskeletal disorders and mediating effect between decreased work efficiency and musculoskeletal disorders. Research Design, Data, and Methodology - The author has developed a questionnaire with 6 hypothesis on the basis of previous research result with 5 constructs. The questionnaires were also made by interview and E-mail. 300 copies of questionnaires were distributed and 282 questionnaire were used for the analysis as valid data responses. SPSS ver.21.0 were used and made Cronbach's α and reliability test, correlation, Baron & Kenny 3 step mediated regression analysis. Result - Cronbach's α shows 0.770~0.954 and C.R. is 0.963~0.997 which is higher than 0.7. and AVE was 0.867~0.933. So the data are all acceptable condition. Using for a long time of a computer & smart-phone has a positive effect on musculoskeletal disorders. This means, it can cause musculoskeletal disorders if people use a computer & smart-phone for a long time due to unstable body posture. And musculoskeletal disorders can effect strongly decrease work efficiency. This study also found out that a long time of using computer can cause musculoskeletal disorders rather than using smart-phone a long time. To check mediate effect of musculoskeletal disorders between using a computer & smart-phone and Decreased Work Efficiency, author used 3-step mediated regression analysis of Baron & Kenny (1986). Using a computer for a long time mediate partially and using a smart-phone for a long time mediate completely. This means that using a smart-phone a long time is not the actual reason to decrease work efficiency. But using level of smart-phone is increasing rapidly day by day. So we need to make additional research about this matter seriously. Conclusion - Nowadays, people can not live on without a computer & smart-phone even a moment. But, using a computer for a long time will affect to cause musculoskeletal disorders and it will effect strongly to decrease work efficiency. Before, we thought over that musculoskeletal disorders were diseases of elder people. But, we found out from this study that musculoskeletal disorders can be happen to any people, even children, or workers in heavy industry or engaged in brain work. So we need to be careful when we use a computer for a long time. People also need to be careful to keep correct body posture when using both a computer and smart-phone since a smart-phone became more popular and using time level became longer. Due to increased income and living standard of people, physical growth of young people is so rapid. But the physical environment of society is not suitable for them since it can not follow up the speed of growth. Suitable work table is very important to prevent musculoskeletal disorder which can affect decrease work efficiency. For a person, a society or country, increased productivity is very important since it can directly connected to the job satisfaction. Education and reeducation for the people is also important, but to teach them how to keep good condition of health will be more important since it can increase the quality of work efficiency and quality of life. Computer and Smart-phone is one the best invention of modern society, but it can cause mental and physical disease which can affect decrease work efficiency and productivity. So it is necessary to observe attentively for the situation continually.

어린이집 보조인력의 노동실태 및 요구분석: 보조교사, 대체교사, 부담임 교사를 중심으로 (Analysis of the Present Condition and Demand for the Assistant Workforce in Korean Childcare Center)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 어린이집 보조인력의 노동실태와 요구를 파악하고, 보육교사 정책에 시사점을 제공하는 것이다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 2017년 8월 한달간 총 190명의 어린이집 보조인력인 누리 일반 보조교사, 보육도우미, 대체교사, 부담임교사를 대상으로 온라인 설문조사를 실시하였다. 보조인력의 노동실태와 요구분석을 위해 현 기관 취업경로 및 근무이유, 근로여건, 직무 및 교육실태, 애로사항을 조사하였다. 분석방법으로는 SPSS 12.0을 활용하여 빈도분석과 차이분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 어린이집 보조인력은 본인의 형편에 맞는 시간대에 일할 수 있어 노동을 선택하였으며, 진입경로로는 보조교사, 대체교사는 주로 육아종합지원센터의 구인광고를 통해, 보육도우미와 부담임은 지인소개 및 추천을 통하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 근로여건에서는 일일 근무시간은 '4~8시간'인 경우가 73.7%, '51만 원 이상~100만 원 미만'인 경우가 57.9%였다. 하루 평균 휴게시간은 약 30분, 17%는 휴게시간이 전무한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 직무 및 교육실태를 살펴보면, 보조인력은 '유아지도 및 상호작용', '청소 청결 관련 업무'를 가장 활발히 수행하였으며, '청소 청결 관련 업무'와 '아침 돌봄 야간 돌봄'에 대한 인력 충원이 시급하다고 인식하였다. 넷째, 애로사항에서 보조 인력은 임금과 관련된 불만족과 고용불안정에 어려움을 느끼고 있었으며, 비정규직의 정규직화에 동의하는 이유는 고용 안정성 때문으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 비정규직 문제해결을 위한 선결과제는 비정규직과 정규직의 임금격차 해소, 노동시간단축 및 노동조건 개선이었다. 본 연구는 그동안 정책연구에서 소외되었던 어린이집 보조인력에 대해 주목하고, 어린이집 보조인력의 입장에서 노동 실태에 응답한 결과를 제시했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

자활사업이 참여자의 자립의지 및 만족도에 미치는 영향 -울산광역시 자활참여자 중심으로- (The effect of Self-sufficiency Project on Participants' Self-reliance and Satisfaction -Focusing on Self-sufficiency Participants in Ulsan Metropolitan City-)

  • 본 논문의 목적은 울산광역시 지역자활센터의 자활사업이 참여자들의 자립의지, 참여 만족도에 미치는 영향을 파악하고자 한다. 연구 대상은 울산광역시 5개 구·군 자활참여자들에게 설문지를 2020년 10월 1일부터 30일까지 조사하여 최종 233부가 분석에 사용되었다. 연구결과, 첫째, 정부나 지자체, 행정복지센터에 대한 지원 정도 조사 결과, 긍정적 답변(보통 포함) 비율이 71.7%로 양호한 것으로 파악되었다. 둘째, 향후 지원받고 싶은 서비스에 대한 응답으로 생계비 지원, 보건 의료비 지원 등 순으로 나타났으며, 성별 차이 분석 결과 자녀 교육비 지원과 주택자금 지원은 유의미한 차이로 확인되었다. 참여자의 심리적 자립의지 요인 중 근로의욕이 가장 많은 변화 요인으로, 자신감, 자아 통제력 순으로 조사되었다. 참여 만족도는 전반적으로 불만족스럽지 않은 것으로 나타났으며, 급여, 근무시간 등 9가지 만족도 항목 중 일에 대한 전반적인 만족도가 가장 높게 나타났다.

치과기공소(齒科技工所)의 운영구조(運營構造) 실태(實態)에 관(關)한 조사연구(調査硏究) (A Study on the Status of Management Structure to Dental Laboratory in Chun-Buk)

  • To improve the management of dental laboratory through the research on the actual condition, this study posed questions on 36 dental laboratories. The results are as follows : 1. The establishment of dental laboratory in Chunbuk was increased between in 1980 and 1986. Especially it has been more increased since 1989. According to the proportion of population the number of the dental laboratories in Chunbuk was much more than that of other provinces and took the first place in september 1990. 2. The ratio between the unlicensed dental technician and the licensed was 24.83% and 67.11% each . The former must be replaced by the licensed. And the latter ought to try to improve their culture and technique. 3. Overtime payment must be paid for those who work above eight hours. 4. It takes 5 days at a minimum for the production of dental prosthesis with both stability and esthetics. 5. Every Saturday afternoon, Sunday and national holiday must be free. 6. Bonus must be paid 600% a year at a minimum. The system of retirement allowance should be active. All dental technicians ought to be affliated with their labor union and medica insurance. 7. Such dental restoration as porcelain and crown and bridge prosthesis must by increased to a degree between 30% and 50% at a minimum and the reduction system of charge for a dental technique has to be abolished. 8. The general working conditions of dental laboratory, especially pay and working hour must be improved. 9. To advance the service improvement of dental treatment and the banishment of illegal one, the medical insurance of crown and bridge prosthesis must be generally practised. 10. Ill case of the staff cull:lloyulent of dental laboratory, minimem wage system must be observed. 11. Directing dentist system on the ertablisment of dental laboratory must be abelished or wholly improved.

노인요양시설 입소자들의 의료적 요구에 대한 간호직 종사자들의 관리 경험 (Nursing Staffs' Experiences of Managing Medical Needs of the Elderly in Korean Long-term Care Facilities)

  • Purpose: This qualitative study was designed to explore and describe the nursing staff reported experiences of managing the medical needs of nursing home residents in South Korea. Methods: Using a focus group interview method, qualitative data were collected from March to May 2012. Twenty five registered nurses and nurse aids working in nursing homes were recruited through a convenient sampling method. Participants participated in one of four focus group interviews lasted up to two hours in which their day-to-day experiences of taking care of the medical needs of the elderly residents. All interviews were recorded and transcribed in verbatim, and analyzed according to the qualitative thematic analysis method using MAXQDA software. Results: The overriding theme was 'experiencing differences between the requirements of the regulatory system and the actual reality of the work place.' The findings of differences between what were true and what is required was based in four subcategories. The nursing home residents had far more medical needs than what were reported. Another finding was that the family members were seen as non-supportive and negligent towards the residents. Conclusion: The findings of the study support the need for changes in the regulatory system. The regulatory limitations of current system with a shortage of resources pushed the participants to experience discrepancies between the required regulation and the reality. Additional research could contribute more exemplars to support changes.
