  • Web technology has allowed the rise of services such as blogs or YouTube that make possible the sharing of opinions, perspectives, and experiences with other users through contents. Online services that promote such sharing of information and communication are known as social media. Recently, the explosive growth of these services displays the carry-over of the natural sociality that all humans possess as social creatures. This study took an exploratory approach in investigating what influential relationships are involved in forming new relationships through sharing and participation, as sharing and participation are core keywords of social media. In order to do this, relationship formations were observed in actual usage environments with the use of the diary study method and in-depth interviews. This study sought to deduce necessary elements in relationship formations and examine the influences of weak ties on participation and sharing.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the residents' preference to community facilities in national rental apartment complexes. Twelve housing complexes were sampled and researched with questionnaire and field-surrey methods. The data from the questionnaire survey were processed with SPSS 14 and analyzed by regional group, size of complex, and arrangement plan of facilities. The complexes are located in two legions, Seoul and Gyounggi province. They were also sorted into three groups by size: less than 500 households, 500 to 1,000, and more than 1,000. Lastly, the complexes were categorized into three types: those where facilities are concentrated in or around a single building, dispersed into several places, and located in residential buildings. The results are as follows: Majority of the community facilities are established outdoor and, therefore, the indoor facilities are relatively more insufficient. Especially, there is a shortage of indoor gymnasium while the demand is increasing. It is partly because there is no regulatory guideline on indoor gym requirements in housing complexes. The resident satisfaction measurement shows significant comparison according to region and complex size. The level of satisfaction with garden/kitchen-garden, pond/fountain/streamlet is higher at the complexes in Gyunggi. The residents of larger complexes give positive feedback about spells facilities while those of smaller complexes are more satisfied with education-related facilities such as library and study. The measurement of resident needs shows significant comparison according to complex size and facility arrangement plan. The residents of smaller complexes are more in need of community facilities. In both regulatory standards and actual condition, community facilities are more insufficient at small complexes with less than 500 households.

  • As Internet usage is rapidly spreading, tasks that were only possible offline are now available in cyber space but at the same time, new security threats such as hacking and viruses have also increased. For that reason, Comprehensive and methodical information security systems are therefore required in enterprises and organizations. Consequently, the Information Security Management System certification system has been in effect in Korea since July 2001. As of December 2012, 130 enterprises have been certified, and more than 120 ISO27001 certifications have been issued. As such, since the introduction of the ISMS certification system in Korea, the demand for the certification has been steadily increasing, and it is now recognized as an integral part of maintaining the competitiveness in an enterprise. However, the qualitative aspects of certification regarding the effectiveness of ISMS have been continuously questioned by actual customers. In order to clarify the situation and remove such doubts, this study will substantiate the fact that development and certification of ISMS positively affect the business performance of enterprises so that they will recognize the effect of obtaining ISMS certification and eventually prevent security accidents and improve their business performance by developing ISMS.

Moreover, experimental cooking and sensory evaluation by trained panels were conducted to assess quantity preference of selected food items. All data were rearranged through food type, that is, main dish, side dish, dessert and health food. One serving sizes showed wide variety according to the different menus that include selected food items. Therefore, means and ranges of serving size by four research methods were presented item by item. There were wide differences in intakes of main dishes, for example, noodles were around $50{\sim}100g$, cereals were 20 g, which means the one serving size can be differenciated by the food usage. In intakes of side dishes, average of side dishes were $20{\sim}30g$, but Kimches, the first traditional Korean food, were $30{\sim}50g$, and the other condiments, pepper paste and soy paste were $5{\sim}10g$. • The aim of the study was to develop an objective measurement tool, which could measure radiation safety regulations as an advanced research to draw evidentiary conclusions for the rationalization of radiation safety regulations as organizations continuously increase consumption of radiation material. The survey was based on the contents of Vol 1~21 of US NRC NUREG 1556 (Consolidated Guidance About Materials Licenses) and material from the Nuclear Safety Act which was based on radiation safety managers who are responsible for about 10% of the domestic registered organizations for radiation usage. As a result of the analysis, 3 main causes were extracted based on 20 questions. Each causes were named as Cause 1: 'Radioactive Safety Regulations Requirements', Cause 2: 'Compatibility of Actual Safety Regulation', and Cause 3: 'RI/RG radiation Source Classification' respectively. The dispersal explanations of each causes were explained in total of 60.417% by 40.140% of Cause 1, 13.721% of Cause 2, and Cause 3 for 6.556% If radiation safety regulation standards are drawn using the radiation safety regulation measurement tool, which is suggested in this study, this could be not only comply with international standards but also could be used to propose a practical standard to domestic radiation safety managers.

In terms of preferences, households with large numbers of women prefer time shift contents, whereas households composed of more men or preschoolers prefer non-time shift contents. Likewise, the households that have more women or higher income had relatively a lot of experiences of purchasing time shift contents on one hand, but the households characterized by the larger numbers of family members or unemployed householder or young householder showed much willingness to pay premium contents on the other hand. Given the utilization of correct database, the findings offer useful information conducive to service promotion and marketing strategies to maximize VOD use in the practical dimension.

  • Massage therapy, which is a Seondosul treatment that was prevalent during the time of Goguryeo, has been propagated throughout the general regions of Jeolla and Chungcheong-do with Iksan and Namwon as the center by the residents of Goguryeo who moved down south. In particular, the fact that this therapy was used importantly in the limited boundaries of the general regions of Jeolla and Chungcheong-do has become a factor that enabled preservation of large amount of old formats of the early stage Seondosul treatment. Seondosul that has been passed down the generation continued to function as a folklore remedy in the form of traditional massage therapy that is suitable for the humanistic natural environment of Korea. That is, treatment methods for generalized diseases in households have been used continuously from the ancient society to the modern society in Korea.
