A Study on the Development of Library ESG Management Evaluation Indicator and the Evaluation Result of Library ESG

  • In this study, the library ESG evaluation indicators specialized for libraries were developed, and based on which, a survey was conducted targeting the actual libraries to evaluate the ESG level of libraries. As a result of the study, first, among the ESG evaluation indicators, the indicators of the social field and the governance field are demonstrating high in which field of the library's ESG evaluation indicators will appear the highest. The social area's high score of 3.70 seems to be because the protection of users' rights, occupational safety, and contribution to society and the local community are very closely related to the original role of the library. Second, it may be seen that there is a difference between the questions in the corporate governance part, while the averages are the same. In the case of library's cooperation, it turned out that it was 3.94 in the necessity evaluation of the evaluation indicators, but it was lowered to 3.61 in the actual library situation evaluation. Meanwhile, in connection with the activities of the director of library and the board of directors, it may be seen that the index evaluation increased from 3.32 to 3.58 in the actual evaluation.

Using Support Vector Machine Method to Improve Company Performance Management

  • Purpose: To explore the application prospect of support vector machine (SVM) in supply chain management and its practical application in supply chain performance evaluation practice. Research design, data and methodology: This paper establishes the performance evaluation index system of supply chain management according to the balanced scorecard (BSC) theory, and establishes the SVM model of supply chain management performance evaluation based on the SVM principle. Results: The performance evaluation results of the supply chain of an electric power equipment Co., Ltd. in Harbin established by using the model are consistent with the actual situation, which indicates the nature and accuracy of the possible reflection of the established supply chain performance evaluation model. Conclusions: The results show that SVM model can be used to evaluate enterprise supply chain management performance indicators, and can improve enterprise supply chain management performance, thus demonstrating the effectiveness of the model.

간호사 임금수준의 상대적 적정성 연구 (Are the nurses overpaid or underpaid\ulcorner)

  • It is generally believed that the medical profession in Korea is an well-paid field along with legal profession. In this vein, the nursing is regarded one of well-paid profession. The actual data, however, reveals that nurses belong to low income bracket. We carefully compare the nurse's earnings with those of other professions. We selected 58 professions, which are similar in vocational characteristics and education background to nurses and conduct a regression analysis to estimate earning functions. Using the estimated coefficients, we project an optimum salary level for nurse, and compare it with the actual salary level. The estimated results show that the nurses are underpaid : their actual salary is less than the optimum level. We provide several explanations for this phenomenon : a tradition based on Confucian value, wage discrimination for women, and wage inequality among hospitals. Undercompensation will result either ratard professional development, or block the motivation for high quality of nursing care. If the current underpaying situation is not improved, a shortage of nurses along with an noticeable decline in the quality of medical services are expected. Therefore an adequate compensation for nurses must be properly assessed and addresed not only be health care authorities but also by legislators. Further research is needed to explain why there is such as wide salary inequality among nurses, and to find what cause it.

중국 성곽유적의 보존 및 관리 (A Study on the City Wall Ruins Preservation and Management of China)

  • The main objective of this study is to analyze the preservation and management for the city wall ruins of China, and to find out the implications. Firstly, Chinese walls have experienced a process from demolition to protection. The walls of the historical value of the site are gradually being certified, and many walls ruins were designated as a conservation unit. Secondly, China's institutional system is based on the central government issued Cultural Relics P rotection Law and combined with the actual situation of local governments to establish a special law. Management System is Cultural Relics Bureau, the planning department, the garden department and the tourism sector joint implementation. Thirdly, through the study of Nanjing, Xian, Pingyao, Suzhou city wall ruins finding that perfect legislation and unified management system to help protect city wall ruins.

MFM-based alarm root-cause analysis and ranking for nuclear power plants

  • Alarm flood due to abnormality propagation is the most difficult alarm overloading problem in nuclear power plants (NPPs). Root-cause analysis is suggested to help operators in understand emergency events and plant status. Multilevel Flow Modeling (MFM) has been extensively applied in alarm management by virtue of the capability of explaining causal dependencies among alarms. However, there has never been a technique that can identify the actual root cause for complex alarm situations. This paper presents an automated root-cause analysis system based on MFM. The causal reasoning algorithm is first applied to identify several possible root causes that can lead to massive alarms. A novel root-cause ranking algorithm can subsequently be used to isolate the most likely faults from the other root-cause candidates. The proposed method is validated on a pressurized water reactor (PWR) simulator at HAMMLAB. The results show that the actual root cause is accurately identified for every tested operating scenario. The automation of root-cause identification and ranking affords the opportunity of real-time alarm analysis. It is believed that the study can further improve the situation awareness of operators in the alarm flooding situation.

역사문화자원의 경관계획 활용방안에 관한 연구 - 청주시를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Historic and Cultural Resources for Landscape Planning - A Case of Cheongju City -)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the application plan for the landscape planning after grasping the current situation of the historical and cultural resources in Cheongju city and closely examining their conservation and use state. Concerning the method of the study, I considered the resources related concepts and came up with the characteristics of the historical and cultural resources and the application planning as landscape factors after the research on the actual condition and their present situation. Regarding the study or research, I studied the cultural assets, historical and cultural resources, historical and cultural planning, and further examined the historical and cultural resources by dividing them diversely and further, studied the current situation of their system and the related law. For the current situation of the historical and cultural landscape resource in Cheongju city I conducted the assessment of the landscape resources by areas, types, locations. On the basis of this study I came up with the basic direction for the application plan and the solution to the management of the landscape and think that these plans or suggestions will make a contribution to the establishment of their identity by regions.

해상교통 상황인지 향상을 위한 합성 데이터셋 구축방안 연구 (A Study on Synthetic Dataset Generation Method for Maritime Traffic Situation Awareness)

  • Ship collision accidents not only cause loss of life and property damage, but also cause marine pollution and can become national disasters, so prevention is very important. Most of these ship collision accidents are caused by human factors due to the navigation officer's lack of vigilance and carelessness, and in many cases, they can be prevented through the support of a system that helps with situation awareness. Recently, artificial intelligence has been used to develop systems that help navigators recognize the situation, but the sea is very wide and deep, so it is difficult to secure maritime traffic datasets, which also makes it difficult to develop artificial intelligence models. In this paper, to solve these difficulties, we propose a method to build a dataset with characteristics similar to actual maritime traffic datasets. The proposed method uses segmentation and inpainting technologies to build a foreground and background dataset, and then applies compositing technology to create a synthetic dataset. Through prototype implementation and result analysis of the proposed method, it was confirmed that the proposed method is effective in overcoming the difficulties of dataset construction and complementing various scenes similar to reality.

  • It is the present situation that the relevant data with the compensation and payment is filed and managed in the form of document or Excell. In case of the large volume dam construction, the management of the data about the sinking areas is conducted inefficiently in view of time management and economy through using the administrative manpower and data formating manpower. There is also problem about where and how to keep the data owing to the enormous data. As a result of the raised questions, through constructing the system which is linked with the location information and property information which is relevant to the compensation to increase the applying value of the information about the compensation and apply document management system to the geographic information system, the management system through computerizing for searching the uncompensated areas in appropriate areas and compensation information in the compensated areas is projected. Through constructing geographic information system, it is expected to create various information effects, using the function of the necessary area search for the boundary survey, actual condition survey, uncompensated area search, and re-compensated area search.

재난사례 분석을 통한 태풍 상황인지정보 구축방안 연구 (A Study on the Establishment of Typhoon Context Awareness Information through Analysis of Disaster Cases)

  • 연구목적: 영향태풍 발생빈도가 증가하고 피해형태가 복잡해짐에 따라 재난대응 업무자가 사전에 태풍 상황을 인지할 수 있도록 지원해주는 정보의 필요성은 커져가고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 매년 주기적으로 발생하는 태풍의 재난대응 업무를 수행하는데 있어 업무 단계별 활용되는 정보에 대한 정의와 구축방안을 제안하였다. 연구방법: 2019년 한반도 영향태풍 7개를 대상으로 실제 업무 단계별 활용되었던 정보를 분류하고 상황인지를 위한 필요정보에 대한 분석을 실시하였다. 분석된 정보를 기반으로 중앙 및 지자체 업무담당자의 의견조사를 통해 태풍상황인지정보를 구축하였다. 연구결과: 태풍상황업무는 기상상황 모니터링과 피해상황을 공유하는 업무의 비중이 가장 컸으며 활용되는 정보는 이력정보와 상황정보의 융합을 통해 도출된 정보가 필요한 것으로 분석되었다. 결론: 태풍상황이 진행될수록 대응 부서 간 업무와 정보의 연계성이 증가하는 것으로 분석됨에 따라 향후 실제 태풍상황에 태풍상황인지정보를 적용하여 정보의 고도화 및 관련 체계를 정립하여야 한다.

Simulation Analysis of Safety Evacuation in University Experiment Building

  • According to the actual situation of a university, the emergency evacuation simulation is modeled based on the physical sign, evacuation speed and personnel ratio using the pathfinder software.The experimental construction export utilization rate is compared with the preliminary simulation scenario. The simulation results show that the utilization rate of evacuation stairs and evacuation exits is significantly improved.The optimized solution can provide the most effective evacuation passage, and the research results can provide the basis for the rational planning and management of evacuation passage in university experiment building.
