Advancing information technology have rapidly changed our service environment of life, culture, and industry. Computer information communication system is applied in medical, health, distribution, and business transaction. Smart is using new information by combining ability of computer and information. Although agriculture is labor intensive industry that requires a lot of hands, agriculture is becoming knowledge-based industry today. In agriculture field, computer communication system is applied on facilities farming and machinery Agricultural. In this paper, we designed and implemented application that provides personalized agriculture related information at the actual farming field. Also, this provides farmer a system that they can directly auction or sell their produced crops. We designed and implemented a system that parsing information of each seasonal, weather condition, market price, region based, crop, and disease and insects through individual setup on ubiquitous environment using location-based sensor network and processing data.

This paper presents a quantitative risk assessment model by analysis of risk factors in each process such as earth works, drainage works, pavement works, appurtenant works and etc based on accident examples and investigation on actual condition in roads construction work. In addition, the safety management system was developed to perform risk assessment of construction and use it for effective safety training for labor.

Recently, Korean health care industry managers are paying more attention to customer oriented service, the rationalization of business administration, and quality control of service to adjust their business to outer environment since IMF bailout program. They are focusing on the cost reduction through remodeling the size and structure of man power, viz. labor flexibility. Nurses are not free from this juncture and contingent nurses are increasing fast. This article intends to verify the actual condition of two types of contingent nurses -part-time nurses and internship nurses-and to compare their job satisfaction to provide basic resource for efficient management of nurse man power. The concrete goals of this article are; Firstly, to verify the actual condition of their employment. Secondly, to compare their job satisfaction. And Thirdly, to the relation between employment condition and job satisfaction. To accomplish these research goals, a statistical survey was executed, in which 384 questionnaires - 66 for manager nurses, 318 for contingent nurses-were given to nurses working at 66 general hospitals-which have at least 100 beds-in Seoul. Among them, 121 questionnaires-of 28 general hospitals-were returned. Then, the data coded and submitted to mean, standard deviation, T-test, variance analysis (ANOVA), correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis with SAS program. The research results of the contingent nurses are followings: 1. Two types of contingent nurses shows similar age spans: they are mostly 21 - 30 years old and unmarried. But internship nurses have high level of educational career. Part - time nurses spread at general beds, out -patient part, intensive care part, operation part, etc, but internship nurses work mostly at general beds. 2. Two groups shows difference in actual employment condition: average employment career of part -time nurses is 7.0 months but internship nurses' is 2.0 months: average duty-on days per month of part - time nurses are 23.7 days but internship nurses' are 24.8 days. But there are little difference in average working time per day: 7.7 hours for part -time nurses and 0 hours for internship nurses. 3. The average wage per month for part -time nurses is 836,026 won but for internship nurses is 557,428 won-66.7% of part-time nurses'. Both groups are enjoying little additional pay. 4. Both groups are getting job not so much through advertisement of newspaper or hospitals as through acquainted person or college. 5. Both groups show very high level of job satisfaction: 3.2195 for part -time nurses and 3.2881 for internship nurses. But they show very low satisfaction on payment level compared with other categories and two groups show meaningful difference(P<.0001). 6. The multiple regression test reveals the factors related with job satisfaction: wage level, working part(OR or ICU), age, job career, and motive of contingent job-taking('because I can take care of family duties at the same time') influence positively: motive of contingent job-taking('because I can work regularly without alternation') influences negatively.

This study was conducted at occupational health laboratories in Seoul and Gyunggi district area from December, 1999 to January, 2000. The main purpose of this study was to survey the actual condition of safety and health by questionnaire and checklist and to assess the performance of fume hoods and the airborne exposures to chemicals in the laboratories. The chemicals in the cabinet were not classified by hazardous properties and the compressed gases were not stored safely. The prevalences of laboratories having first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and safety showers were found to be 18%, 55%, and 9%, respectively. Most laboratory workers were not educated for safety and health. Also, there was no performance evaluation for hazards and risks. The fume hoods in laboratories had not been annually inspected by checklist and the face velocity had been checked more than one time in the previous year for only 18% of them. Five percent of fume hoods had the face velocity more than 4.0 m/sec and 17% had no capture performance. Detected organic solvents were methylenechloride, acetone, ethylbenzene, isopropanol, xylene, methylisobutylketone, trichloroethylene, and toluene. The concentrations of organic solvents were much less than the occupational exposure limits proposed by the Ministry of Labor in Korea. This study showed that the actual condition of safety and health was not appropriate for laboratory workers. It is recommended that laboratory workers should be educated for the treatment and storage of hazardous chemicals and compressed gases to improve the working environment of the occupational safety and health laboratories.
We studied the actual condition of work environment and work morale according to the type of employment of service workers by using the raw data of the Fourth Work Environment Survey (2014) conducted by the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health. In this study, the condition of work environment were composed of work posture, emotional labor, and work autonomy. Also, dimensions related to work morale were composed of competence, job satisfaction, social support, and job stress. In addition, the employment was classified into three types of regular workers, temporary workers, and daily workers. The results showed that temporary and daily workers were more likely to work in a less favorable environment than regular workers, and there was a close correlation between work environment and work morale. Based on this study, it is possible to know about the actual situation and problems of the service workers, and it is hoped that company can search for measures to increase the working environment and work morale of the workers in order to provide better service.
Single span pipe greenhouses (pipe houses) are widely used in Korea because these simple structures are suitable for construction by farmers thus reducing labor cost. However, these pipe houses are very weak and frequently damaged by heavy snow and strong wind. Pipe house is constructed by pipe fabricator, which is anchored to the ground by inserting each pipe end into ground to $30\sim40cm$, so the ground support condition of pipe end is not clear for theoretical analysis on greenhouse structure. This study was carried out to find out the suitable ground support condition needed f3r structural analysis when pipe house was designed. The snow and wind loading tests on the actual size pipe house were conducted to measure the collapsing shape, displacement and strain. The experimental results were compared with the structural analysis results for 4 different ground support conditions of pipe ends(fixed at ground surface, hinged at ground surface, fixed under ground and hinged under ground). The pipe house under snow load was collapsed at the eaves as predicted, and the actual strain at the windward eave and ground support under wind load was larger than that under snow load. The displacement was the largest at the hinged support under ground, followed by the hinged at ground surface, the fixed under ground and then the fixed at ground surface independent of displacement direction and experimental loading condition. The experimental results agreed most closely with the results of theoretical analysis at the fixed condition under ground among 4 different ground support conditions. As the results, it was recommended that the pipe end support condition of single span pipe greenhouse was the fixed under ground for structural analysis.
This research was to investigate and study on 92 Dental Technicians who had had some experience of working or being employed at dental craft-shops or craft-rooms in Seoul area and had transferred to other types of occupation, with regard to their reasons for changing their profession. For an approach to the study, some questionnaires and interview including 3 aspects of in quiriesmental, economic and social backgrounds-were administered, and major findings are as follows ; 1. The ages in which transferring to other kinds of job happened occurred mostly from 20 to 30(78.26%) an a group of subjects whose ages ranged from 20 to 30 years old. And, with regard to their experience of working or being employed at dental craft-shops or craftrooms, the transfer of their profession to the other kinds mosty happened in a group of subjects(94.56%) whose experience of working in the dental field is less than 4 years. 2. The reason of transfer with reference to the mental background was mostly mattered in a group that expressed "Excessive Work Duties"(34.78%), and most lowly mattered in a group of subjets who had "Certain Relations with Dentists"(8.70%). Thus, it appeared that the biggest reason of transfer by the mental background was, due to the excessive duty work, not to have Sufficient time to be usualized by dental technicians for their own purpose. 3. With reference to the economical background, a group that declared there was "No Wage Standards in Ratio to Their Labor" was the most in the separation rate as shown 45.56%. And, a group suspecting "No Guarantee for Their Living after Retirement" Showed a separation rate, 9.78%. In other words, the reason for transfer was that they did not receive due wage according to their amount of labor. 4. With reference to the social background, a group making a subject for no good working environments or conditions had a separation rate, 41.30%, which was the most among others, and a group with a subject of "The Rarity of Employment because of Excessive Supply of Dental Technicians" had the rate, 10.87%, which was the lowest. This meant that the major cause of transfer by the social background was a phenomenon for dental technicans to escape from unclean working places.

Due to a shortage of professional labor and the stagnant construction industry in recent days, there has been an increasing demand for securing profitability through cost reduction. Though its importance in the cost and its great influence on the safety and durability of structures, the labor intensiveness of rebar work has caused a serious problem of rising cost accompanied by the loss of rebar materials. In the plant manufacturing process, rebar is cut and bent at the automated facilities and conveyed to the construction site, which makes it possible to manufacture higher-quality bars and to reduce the losses from rebar materials. Different from the expectation, however, this type of plant manufacturing still has not been active since its first introduction in 1990s. In this study, a research on the actual condition of rebar manufacturing plant has been implemented and a standardized rebar manufacturing has been provided as a way to activate rebar manufacturing.
