어린이를 위한 낭독공연의 유형 연구 (A Study on the Type of Reading Aloud Performance for Children)

  • 낭독공연이란 배우들이 희곡을 암기하지 않고 읽는 것을 통해 관객들에게 희곡의 의미를 전달하는 활동으로 알려져 있다. 이 용어는 오래전부터 사용하였지만, 우리 문화계에서 낭독공연을 주목하기 시작한 것은 2000년대 초라고 할 수 있다. 2015 개정 교육과정에서 연극교육을 강화하면서 '낭독공연'에 관한 관심도 커지고 있다. 이 글에서는 낭독공연을 교육의 장에서 풍부하게 활용할 수 있는 근거를 성인들의 낭독공연에서 찾아보고, 이를 어린이 교육의 장에서 활용하고자 분석하였다. 낭독공연에는 배우들이 무대 위에서 '희곡을 보면서 읽는 유형'과 '희곡을 암기하여 연기하는 유형' 및 '두 유형을 혼합한 유형'이 있다. 결국, 낭독공연의 형식에는 정해진 규칙이 없다는 것이 핵심이다. 희곡을 보거나 보지 않거나 문제 되지 않는다. 낭독공연의 주체가 처한 상황을 고려하여 적합한 형식의 공연을 하되 낭독공연은 꼭 이렇게 해야 한다는 고정관념을 가질 필요는 없다. 어린이와 청소년 또한 낭독희곡의 개념을 유연하게 이해하면 교육적으로 얻을 수 있는 효과가 더 커질 것이다. 이런 분석을 근거로 어린이를 위한 교육의 장에서 활용하기 위한 준거로 '낭독공연의 형식을 한 가지로 고집하지 않기', '여러 유형의 낭독공연 선택하기'를 제시하였다. 그리고 '여러 유형의 낭독공연 선택하기'에 필요한 하위 준거로는 '희곡의 내용 가운데 특정 장면 선택하기', '학생의 수준이나 상황을 고려하기', '새로운 유형의 낭독공연을 만드는 데 주저하지 않기'가 있음을 밝혔다. 이 글이 낭독공연에 관한 논의가 필요한 교육계에 활력을 넣고, 이론의 부재로 인해 교육적 설계가 미흡해지는 점을 해소하는 디딤돌이 되기를 기대한다.

셔레이드에서의 비언어 기호와 서사적 변형의 상관성 연구 - 영화 <캐롤>에서 나타나는 주체의 형성 과정을 중심으로 (A study on the correlation between nonverbal signs in Charade and narrative transformation: Focusing on the formation process of the subject appearing in the film Carol)

  • 본 연구는 셔레이드에서 발견되는 비언어 기호의 서사적 상관성을 살펴보는 것에 목적이 있다. 셔레이드는 비언어 기호들을 사용해 인물의 심리 변화, 타인과의 관계, 인물이 머무는 장소 등에 대한 정보를 제공한다. 이때 셔레이드에 관한 연구는 비언어기호를 통한 메시지의 전달뿐만 아니라 의미작용 또한 고려하여 접근해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 영화 <캐롤(Carol)>(2015)에 대한 서사기호학적 접근을 통해 내러티브를 분석하고, 주체의 행동을 촉발시키는 주체의 형성 과정을 살펴보았다. 이때 여성의 지위는 미장센을 통해 드러난다는 점에서, 미장센 영역에 속하는 셔레이드를 통해 이를 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구에서는 비언어 커뮤니케이션 이론을 토대로 하여 셔레이드에서 사용되는 비언어 기호들을 도출하였다. 이에 근거해 텍스트를 분석한 결과, 특히 여성 주체들의 지위를 표현하는 과정에서는 실내 장식의 활용이 돋보였다. 여성 주체들의 권력의 획득을 나타내는 과정에서는 응시의 사용이 두드러졌다. 그 외에도 액세서리, 영역, 제스처와 같은 비언어 기호의 사용도 주목할 만한 것이었음을 밝힌다. 이러한 비언어 기호들은 주체의 형성과 서사적 변형을 구상화하는데 중요한 역할을 한다는 것을 확인할 수 있다.

축지소극장의 근대성 문제에 대한 연구 -가부키(歌舞伎), 신파(新派), 신극(新劇)의 연관성- (A study on the controversy of the modernity of the Tsukiji Little Theater -With a focus on Kabuki, Shinpa, and Shingeki-)

  • The purpose of this paper is to shed light onto the historical significance and limitations of the Tsukiji Little Theater's modern performances. The Tsukiji Little Theater holds a position of great importance to the history of both Japanese and Korean modern theater. Some, however, are under the completely opposite impression. There are also mixed opinions about whether the Tsukiji Little Theater is a "model example" of the modern theatrical movement or a "bad example". Based on this controversy, we look into the definitive characteristics of the Tsukiji Little Theater based mostly on "the controversy over translated foreign plays", "the controversy of foreign plays versus original plays", "the value of kabuki" and "Shinpa as a rival". This paper looked into the differences in controversy over translated foreign plays in the Tsukiji Little Theater and the controversy in existing translated foreign plays. It mostly looks at the "casuistry of foreign plays" and the "cultural engineering theory of foreign plays"to get a grasp on the controversy surrounding existing translated foreign plays. Meanwhile, the "internally critical meaning" towards the original plays of renowned writers was strong in the controversy of foreign plays in the Tsukiji Little Theater. Kaoru Osanai defined the 1920s as a dark period, and persisted that because of the activity of the Shingeki movement, foreign plays were needed instead of low-level original plays. This study examines the characteristics of original plays and foreign plays publicly performed at the Tsukiji Little Theater to analyze the "controversy of translated foreign plays versus original plays". The Tsukiji Little Theater mostly put on shows with a strong sense of resistance or that defied the old times. This caused there to be a lot of emphasis put on the rebellious mindset towards old conventions and ideologies for most of the plays, both foreign and original, and the problem arises that little mind was paid to the integrity or beauty of the works. In looking at the "value of kabuki", this paper looked into Kaoru Osanai, who was deeply involved in kabuki actors. He evaluated traditional Japanese arts highly not because of the literary value of their scripts, but because he recognized the value of how they were performed. In order to create a new spectacle, music, dance and mime was taken in from countries around the world, and kabuki was regarded highly as a means of expression on stage. Finally, we also examine the recognized reasons for treating Shinpa as a rival. There is a relationship between these reasons and a complex about the audiences they drew. The Shinpa performances always had many spectators and were successful, but those at the Tsukiji Little Theater were so unpopular with the public that it was hard for them to financially run their theater group. The empty seats in their theater constantly made the modern intellectuals in the Shingeki movement feel inferior.

한국 정치극의 전개 양상 - 1920년대부터 80년대까지의 정치극운동을 중심으로 - (The Development Aspects of Korean Political Theatre Movement)

  • This paper investigates the development and aesthetics of Korean political theatre from its quickening period 1920s to democratization era 1990s. Political theatre before 90s developed an antithesis resistant movement toward Korean modern history that had been scattered with suppressing political circumstances such as colonial era and dictatorial government, the movement has powerful activity and social influences. Just like the 20 century political theatre had been quickened under the influence of Marxism at Russia and Germany in 1920s, Korea's political theatre began in socialism theatre movement form around the same time. Proletarian theatre groups had been founded in Japan and Korea, and developed into practical movement with organized connection. However, the political theatre movement in Japanese colonial era was an empty vessel makes great sound but not much accomplishments. Most performance had been canceled or disapproved by suppression or censorship of the Japanese Empire. The political theatre in liberation era was the left drama inherited from Proletarian theatre of the colonial era. Korean Theatre alliance took lead the theatrical world unfold activities based on theatre popularization theory such as 'culture activists' taking a jump up the line and 'independent theatre' peeping into production spot as well as the important event, Independence Movement Day Memorial tournament theatre. Since 1947, US army military government in Korea strongly oppressed the left performances to stop and theatrical movement was ended due to many left theatrical people defection to North Korea. The political theatre in 1960s to 70s the Park regime, developed in dramatically different ways according to orthodox group and group out of power. The political theatre of institutional system handled judgment on sterile people and had indirect political theatre from that took history material and allegory technique because of censorship. In political theatre out of institution, it started outdoor theatre that has modernized traditional performance style and established deep relationship with labor spot and culture movement organizations. Madangguek(Outdoor theatre) is 'Attentive political theatre', satirizing and offending the political and social inconsistencies such as the dictatorial government's oppression and unbalanced distribution, alienation of general people, and foreign powers' pillage sharply as well as laughing at the Establishment with negative characters. The political theatre in 1980s is divided into two categories; political theatre of institutional system and Madangguek. Institutional Political theatre mainly performed in Korea Theatre Festival and the theatre group 'Yeonwoo-Moudae' led political theatre as private theatre company. Madangguek developed into an outdoor theatrical for indoor theatre capturing postcolonial historical view. Yeonwoo-Moudae theatre company produced representative political plays at 80s such as The chronicles of Han's, Birds fly away too, and so on by combining freewheeling play spirit of Madangguek and epic theatre. Political theatre was all the rage since the age of democratization started in 1987 and political materials has been freed from ban. However, political theatre was slowly declined as real socialism was crumbling and postmodernism is becoming the spirit of the times. After 90s, there are no more plays of ideology and propaganda that aim at politicization of theatre. As the age rapidly entered into the age of deideology, political theatre discourse also changed greatly. The concept 'the political' became influential as a new political possibility that stands up to neoliberalism system in the evasion of politics. Rather than reenact political issues, it experiments new political theatre that involves something political by deconstructing and reassigning audience's political sense with provocative forms, staging others and drawing discussion about it.

호모 테아트룸: '사이'의 연극으로서의 보알(Augusto Boal) 연극 고찰 (Homo Theatrum: A Study of Boal's Theatre as 'Saiee' Theatre)

  • 'Saiee', which could mean between, intra- and inter-, is a crucial topic in theatre as theatre has tension between actor and audience, reality and illusion, and everyday life and extraordinary life. Especially, it is interesting that the function of 'Saiee' is connected to extension and application of drama and theatre such as educational theatre, dramatherapy and applied drama/theatre. Such works are expected to educational or therapeutic effects, thus concern and support, demand and supply of these works is getting increased. However, it is true that researches on spirit, aesthetic and direction of these works are not sufficient, compared to quantitative increase and diversity. This study will explore Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed(TO from the below), which is key theory and technique of applied drama/theatre field with viewpoint of 'Saiee' theatre to look at spirit, aesthetic and direction of this field. Saiee's energy could observe the object with distance(distance), form the relationship with that object(inter) and create new circumstance through that relationship(intra). And Boal's TO tried to Saiee's theatre by using Saiee's dynamics variously. It bases on the phenomenon of metaxis. Boal's TO believes that drama/theatre is unique nature and ability of human being, that is to say, it is based on Homo Theatrum, human plays and does theatre. Therefore, the participant of Boal's TO is extended to everyone in everyday life. This activity is not only individual work to find his/her identity but also solidarity and possibility to change society which they belong to. It is the dynamics of 'Saiee' to make this possible. Boal's TO thinks that relationship and balance between individuality and sociality is important. The way of conversation in Boal's TO includes questioning, listening and communication. Unfamiliarity or distance of 'Saiee' makes interest in other people and question about them. Questioning through theatre and concern on other beings to search for the answer (this is listening), would be new relationship(and possibility) to extend him/herself. The communication and relationship leads to possibility and ability to create another world. This is the function of 'inter-' and 'intra-' in theatre of 'Saiee'. Lastly, it is various that Boal's TO as 'Saiee' theatre uses the dynamics of 'Saiee'. The diversity of technique comes from the application to humans in every moment and every time. To apply 'Saiee's aesthetic actively, concern and research on people 'now and here' should be proceed.

혼합형 학습(Blended Learning) 환경에서의 공간디자인 CAD 수업 사례연구 (A Case Study of Spatial CAD Education in Blended Learning Environment)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 디자인 실기 수업의 본질은 유지하면서 다양하고 유연한 학습 환경을 제공하기 위해 블렌디드 러닝 사례를 면밀하게 분석하고, 수업 단계별로 블렌디드 러닝을 지원하는 학습 환경과 학생들의 활용도 및 교육 경험을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 실제 주택 및 실내디자인 CAD 교과목에서 블렌디드 러닝을 적용하여 수업의 운영 및 내용, 수업 평가 등을 분석하였다. 수업 평가를 위해 강의 평가, LMS 활동평가, 수업을 진행한 전후 설문을 통한 블렌디드 러닝에 대한 경험 및 만족도를 조사하였다. 평가 결과는 장소와 시간의 제한 없이 실시간 피드백 기회의 부여, 다양한 상호작용의 기회 제공, 문자에 의한 대화 등 학습자의 활용도가 기존의 전통적인 대면 수업보다 우수하였다는 점에서 블렌디드 러닝 방식을 적용하는 것이 더 적절함을 시사한다. 또한, 사전조사의 결과, 네트워크나 기타 문제로 인해 집중도가 떨어지고 소통 부분에서 불편함을 느꼈다는 의견을 해결하기 위한 방안으로 디자인 실기 수업에서 이론 및 강의 부분은 비대면으로, 개별 질의응답 및 피드백은 대면 및 비대면으로 진행하여 사후조사 결과에서는 집중도와 효율성을 높일 수 있었음을 알 수 있었다. 이는 디자인 실기 수업에서 온라인 환경을 적극 활용할 수 있는 가능성을 시사한다.

사회적 상호작용과 도구 개선을 강조한 '탐구적 과학 글쓰기' 수업에 대한 중학교 과학 영재 학생들의 인식 (The Perception of Middle School Science-Gifted Students on the 'Science Writing Heuristic' Class Emphasizing Social Interaction and Tool Improvement)

  • 본 연구에서는 전라남도 소재의 국립대학교 과학영재교육원 소속 중학생 10명을 대상으로 사회적 상호작용과 도구 개선을 강조한 탐구적 과학 글쓰기 수업을 실시하여 STS 관계와 수업의 효과에 대한 학생들의 인식을 조사하였다. 사회적 상호작용과 도구 개선을 강조한 탐구적 과학 글쓰기 수업 후 학생들은 STS 관계에 대하여 다음과 같은 인식을 가지게 되었다. 과학 영재 학생들은 실험 도구와 기술이 과학이론 발전에 기여하며, 과학 기술만으로 모든 사회 문제를 해결하는 것이 어려우며, 과학이 사회적 상호작용 활동이라는 인식을 갖게 되었다. 또한 과학 영재 학생들은 동일 주제로 여러 시간 진행한 집중 탐구, 동료 평가 등을 이용한 다른 조원과의 의사소통, 같은 조원과 문제를 해결하는 의사소통, 탐구 과정에서 도구를 개선하는 활동, 익숙한 재료와 현상을 이용한 탐구 등을 통해 STS의 관련성을 인식하게 되었다고 응답하였다. 중학생 대상의 과학 영재 수업에서 학생들이 STS의 관계를 효과적으로 인식하도록 하기 위해서는 다양한 실험 도구를 활용한 문제 해결 경험, 동일 주제로 탐구 문제를 해결하는 과정에서 시행착오 경험, 연구 문제를 해결하는 과정에서 도구의 개선 경험, 동일한 주제로 탐구 활동을 진행하는 동료와의 의사소통경험, 다른 조와 탐구 결과를 공유하는 경험, 학생에게 익숙한 소재와 현상을 이용한 탐구 활동 등을 제공할 필요가 있다

  • 중국 고전 대학(大學)은 인성교육과 정의로운 사회구현을 위해 우리가 어떠한 방향으로 나아가야 하는 지침을 제시하고 있다. '나 자신의 수신을 바탕으로 우리라는 공동체를 위해 모든 사람이 선(善)의 경지에 머물러야 한다.' 라는 메시지를 전한다. 선은 올바른 방향으로의 보편적인 진리를 의미하는 포괄적인 개념이다. 본 연구에서는 모든 사람이 선에 머무르기 위해서는 어떻게 해야 하는지를 위한 커뮤니케이션 교육의 방향 제시하고자 한다. 대인커뮤니케이션과 설득커뮤니케이션의 이론을 바탕으로 먼저 선에 대한 추상적인 개념을 이해하고, 진정한 커뮤니케이션을 위해 선에 대한 브레인스토밍과 스키마활동을 한 후에, 디베이트·플립러닝·글쓰기의 교수-학습방법을 접목하여 선에 대한 커뮤니케이션 교육을 하는 내용이다. 비교적 주입식교육의 토대에서 성장해 온 학생들과 선에 대한 메시지를 가지고 커뮤니케이션 교육을 한다는 것이 어려움이 뒤따르는 일이다. 그러나 토론을 활용한 커뮤니케이션을 통해 교육의 패러다임 전환이 일어날 것이고, 인간관계 형성에 도움을 줄 뿐만 아니라 우리가 살아가는 사회 속에서 공동체 의미의 중요성을 인식하고 궁극적으로 인성 함양에도 도움을 줄 것이다.

Information Technologies in the Formation of Environmental Consciousness in Future Professionals

  • The global process of transition from industrial to information society, as well as socio-economic changes taking place in Ukraine, require significant changes in many areas of state activity. It is especially connected with the reforms in the sphere of education. Today, national programs provide for the development of education on the basis of new progressive concepts, the introduction of the educational process of new pedagogical technologies and scientific achievements, the creation of a new system of information education, entrance of Ukaine into the transcontinental computer information system. Information technologies are qualitatively changing the key resources of development: this is no longer a space with fixed production, but primarily mobile finance and intelligence. They have a direct impact on the formation of personal growth, professional content and self-organization, emotional and psychological maturity and consciousness, and so on. One of the main factors in ensuring the stability and social education of the country's citizens is the culture of security, the formation and development of which is an urgent problem today. Comprehensive and systematic development of security culture will significantly increase the readiness of the population, the level of environmental, labor and patriotic education, reduce human losses, material damage from emergencies. Ecological education can be carried out more successfully only gradually and in accordance with the socio-psychological periods of one's development: kindergarten - school - college - university. The creation of such a system of environmental education should be enshrined as the basis of state environmental policy as a constitutional norm with the usage of information technology. Graduates of universities, who are the future of our country, after mastering the skills of basic environmental education must have a high level of environmental culture, which is, in turn, part of general human culture, and investigate environmental issues from the standpoint of their profession. It is known that with the help of environmental education the collective intelligence of society is formed, which can predict human activities and processes occurring in nature, and in some way to help with the elimination of crises. It is through environmental education that another system of human values is being formed, which places great emphasis on intangible wealth and solidarity, and great responsibility of humanity for the ecological state of the native country; provides a higher standard of living as a result of sustainable development, through the introduction of information technology in this system. To improve the quality of life, we need better knowledge, which must be implemented through information technology at the international level.

European Experience in Implementing Innovative Educational Technologies in the Field of Culture and the Arts: Current Problems and Vectors of Development

  • The main purpose of the work is to analyze modern innovative educational practices in the field of culture and art and their effectiveness in the context of the spread of digitalization trends. The study used general scientific theoretical methods of analysis, synthesis, analogy, comparative, induction, deduction, reductionism, and a number of others, allowing you to fully understand the pattern of modern modernization processes in a long historical development and demonstrate how the rejection of the negativity of progress allows talented artists to realize their own potential. The study established the advantages and disadvantages of involving innovative technologies in the educational process on the example of European experience and outlined possible ways of implementing digitalization processes in Ukrainian institutions of higher education, formulated the main difficulties encountered by teachers and students in the use of technological innovation in the pandemic. The rapid development of digital technologies has had a great impact on the sphere of culture and art, both visual, scenic, and musical in all processes: creation, reproduction, perception, learning, etc. In the field of art education, there is a synthesis of creative practices with digital technologies. In terms of music education, these processes at the present stage are provided with digital tools of specially developed software (music programs for composition and typing of musical text, recording, and correction of sound, for quality listening to the whole work or its fragments) for training programs used in institutional education and non-institutional learning as a means of independent mastering of the theory and practice of music-making, as well as other programs and technical tools without which contemporary art cannot be imagined. In modern stage education, the involvement of video technologies, means of remote communication, allowing realtime adjustment of the educational process, is actualized. In the sphere of fine arts, there is a transformation of communicative forms of interaction between the teacher and students, which in the conditions of the pandemic are of two-way communication with the help of information and communication technologies. At this stage, there is an intensification of transformation processes in the educational industry in the areas of culture and art.
