협력 e-러닝 학습 환경 구축 및 에이전트 적용 방안 (Design of Collaborative e-Learning Environment and Collaborative Learning Agent)

  • 지식 정보화 시대의 새로운 교육 형태와 패러다임으로 시간과 장소에 구애받지 않고 학습할 수 있으며 학습자 중심 교육을 제공하는 e-러닝에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 그러나 기대에 비해서는 현재까지 e-러닝에 대한 폭발적인 수요와 성장은 발생하지 않고 있는데, 현재 대부분의 e-러닝 교육 형태가 기존의 일방적인 주입식 교육 형태를 단순히 디지털화 하여 학습 콘텐츠의 반복 학습을 제공하는데 그쳐 학습자들의 적극적인 참여와 관심을 이끌어 내는데 실패하였기 때문이다. e-러닝 환경에서 학습자들의 자발적인 참여를 이끌어내고 학습의 몰입도를 높이기 위해 학습 과제를 여러 명의 학생들이 상호 의존하여 공동으로 해결함으로써 학습 목표를 달성하는 형태의 협력학습에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 학습자들 간의 상호작용 을 높이면서 학습행위를 촉진시키기 위한 협력 e-러닝 환경 구축 및 협력학습촉진 에이전트 적용 방안을 제시한다.

초등 예비교사의 수학적 문제제기 사례 분석 (The Analysis of Problem Posing Cases of Pre-Service Primary Teacher)

  • 본 연구는 초등 예비교사의 수학적 문제제기 활동을 관찰하여 그 특징을 파악하고 문제제기 과정이 예비교사에게 제공하는 학습 기회를 분석하였다. 예비교사들의 문제제기 과정은 문제 조건 변형, 문제 성립 조건 탐구, 문제 구조 이해, 문제에서 생성된 개념탐구로 구성되었고, 각 단계에서 문제제기와 수학적 탐구가 결합하면서 다음 단계로 이어졌다. 탐구와 결합된 문제제기를 통해 예비교사들은 기존 개념을 재해석하고 새로운 수학적 대상을 발견하면서 수학적 개념들 사이의 연결성을 이해할 수 있었다. 예비교사들은 수학교육에서 문제제기의 중요성을 인식하였으며, 문제제기는 예비교사들에게 토론과 협력의 기회를 제공하였다.

The p110${\gamma}$ PI-3 Kinase is Required for the Mechanism by Which the EphA8-induced Neurites are Modulated by Ephrin-A5 Engagement

  • This study provides evidence that expression of EphA8 receptor in NG108-15 cells results in a substantial increase in the number of neurite-bearing cells. However, the EphA8-induced neurite outgrowth does not require either ephrin-A5 stimulation or ectopic expression of $p110{\gamma}$ PI-3 kinase. In contrast, co-expression of a lipid kinase-inactive $p110{\gamma}$ mutant together with EphA8 causes neurite retraction in the presence of ephrin-A5 stimulation. This effect was not observed in the absence of ephrin-A5 stimulation. Significantly, the tyrosine kinase activity of EphA8 is not important for either of these processes. Taken together, our results strongly suggest that $p110{\gamma}$ PI-3 kinase is critically involved in the regulatory process by which ephrin-A5 exerts effects on the EphA8-induced neurite outgrowth.

  • The focus of this article is on the process of cultivating students' interests so that they come to view mathematics as an activity worthy of their engagement. We first define and operationalize the notion of interests, in the process developing a perspective in which they are seen to be generative, to evolve, and to be deeply cultural. We concretize this perspective by presenting an analysis of a classroom design experiment that documents both the process by which the students' interests evolved and the means by which these developments were supported. We then frame the analysis as a case in which to tease out the implications for a nascent design theory of mathematical interests and in doing so give particular attention to the issue of equity in students' access to significant mathematical ideas

A Study on the Restorement Meaning In Life of First aider in the Disaster Activities

  • Many first aiders suffer from the stress of working in uncertain disaster sites. The stress of responding to disasters leads to an increase in post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and a decrease in psychological well-being. It also has many negative effects on the meaning in life for first aiders. Reduced meaning in life will result in many societal opportunity costs due to decreased health and work engagement. To address this issue, this study conducted a survey to analyze the level of meaning in life of first aiders. The results indicated that the overall level of meaning in life of first aiders is very low. This issue needs to be addressed sooner rather than later, given the increasing trend of emergency response. Based on the results of the study, measures were proposed to reduce PTSD and psychological stability by restoring the meaningfulness of first aiders' lives.

  • This study aims to enhance the continuous utilization of community mapping by structurally understanding the intentions behind its ongoing use and the impacts related to it, grounded in prior research. By analyzing existing community mapping cases through literature studies on community mapping, this research identifies the characteristics of community mapping that motivate its sustained use. Moreover, based on the Uses and Gratifications Theory and the Participatory Communication Model (PCM), this study proposes a research model to investigate the factors influencing the intention to continue using community mapping. Unlike previous studies, which primarily focused on developing and applying community mapping processes for case studies, this research not only develops and applies a community mapping process but also aims to apply the findings related to the intention of continued use in future community mapping activity processes for sustained engagement.

  • 효과적인 e-PBL을 구현하기 위해서는 학습내용 중심이 아닌 학습활동 중심의 이러닝을 개발할 필요가 있다. 본 연구는 IMS Learning Design(IMS LD) 기반 e-PBL 프로토타입을 개발함으로써 학습활동 중심의 이러닝의 구현 가능성에 대해서 살펴보았다. IMS LD 기반 e-PBL 프로토타입은 일반적인 이러닝 프로 그램과 비교하여 학습내용과 학습활동을 통합적으로 제시함으로써 적극적인 학습활동 참여를 유도하고, 학습자의 수준이나 학습자의 역할에 따라 서로 다른 학습내용 및 학습활동을 제공함으로써 적응적인 이러닝 구현을 가능하게 하였다. 또한, 학습자의 학습활동에 따라 제공될 수 있는 학습공지 등을 미리 설계하여 과정 운영상 발생하는 교수자의 부담을 경감하였다. 인터페이스 및 학습절차 구성에서 확인된 몇 가지 점들이 개선되는 것을 고려할 때 본 연구는 효과적인 이러닝 설계를 위한 대안적 시도라는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The Effects of Contextual Variables and Parental Cognition on Maternal Involvement in Korean Children's Early Education

  • This study examined the features of maternal involvement in Korean children's early education and their relation to contextual variables and three forms of parental cognition. For this study 333 Korean mothers with 5 to 7 year-old children completed questionnaires that covered aspects such as demographical characteristics, three forms of involvement in their children's education, and three forms of parental cognition. Descriptive analysis indicated that mothers who were more involved in monitoring homework paid more monthly activity fees for supplementary classes and engaged more in cognitively stimulating activities at home. Financial investment in supplementary classes for children was not associated with engagement in cognitively stimulating activities at home. Stepwise regression analysis found that mothers who were more involved in monitoring their young childrens homework expressed higher aspirations for their childrens future occupation. Korean mothers who paid more for their child's supplementary classes had higher family incomes. Korean mothers who engaged more often in cognitively stimulating activities at home expressed higher parental self-efficacy, had a higher educational level, had a younger child, and had an earlier birth order or only child.

Analysis of Green Campus Initiatives Led by Voluntary Participants of University Students

  • Purpose: Since 2010, many universities in Korea have been implementing Green Leader Training Programs which are usually run by students themselves. In the last five years of 2015, the Green Leader Training Program under the sponsorship of Korean Association for Green Campus Initiative has promoted the practice of a green campus and many relative projects have been carried out in various fields. Method: We utilized the green campus component index established by the Presidential Committee on Green Growth in Korea and have analyzed 480 activities during the years of 2010~2015. Result: We found that many activities were classified into the environmental field(264, 55.0%). This was followed by university members' participation(130, 27.1%), community engagement(68, 14.2%), and university management(18, 3.7%). These results showed that the green campus initiatives were focused on the environmental field. The number of universities participating from 2010 to 2015 were 20 in the metropolitan area and 15 in the non-metropolitan are. In the metropolitan area, 81.7% of green leader activities were conducted at universities in Seoul, and those in non-capital areas were active in the Middle region(51.3%) and Yeongnam region(48.7%). On the other hand, there was no activity in the Honam region, and it shows that there was a noticeable differential by regional groups.

가상현실에서 디지털 스토리텔링 형태가 학습자의 재미와 이해에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Digital Storytelling Type on the Learner's Fun and Comprehension in Virtual Reality)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 세컨드라이프와 같은 3차원 가상현실에서 디지털 스토리텔링의 교육적인 가능성을 탐색해 보는데 있다. 세컨드라이프와 같은 가상현실은 현실 수준을 반영한 충실도를 통해 학습자들에게 풍부한 학습 환경을 제공할 수 있다. 이 연구를 위해 우리는 디지털 스토리텔링의 유형별로 재미와 이해도에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 실험대상자 108명을 대상으로 세컨드라이프와 같은 가상현실에서 디지털스토리텔링 활동을 수행하였다. 실험 결과스토리텔링 형태에 있어서 이해에는 집단간 차이가 없지만, 재미에는 집단간 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이야기 주인공과 동질감을 느낄 수 있고 이야기와 유사한 환경을 제공하는 가상현실 활동이 학습자들의 참여를 촉진하여 재미에 중요한 영향을 미친다는 결과를 얻었다.
