Choonwon, Lee Kwang-Soo was a literary man and activist for educational movement in modem age of Korea. This research was to review his arguments about improvement of house living. The major results of the research were as follows. First, he asked Korean people to establish solid identity of living. Second, he placed great emphasis on building hygiene facilities and bathroom. Third, he argued that the space within a household need to be divided in accordance with function. Finally he suggested Korean people to make home environment beautiful and convenient.

본 연구는 2019 칸 국제광고제에서 수상한 작품들을 분석하여, 다섯 개의 주제를 가지고 크리에이티브 트렌드를 제시하였다. 다감각 경험, 크리에이티비티와 데이터와의 결합, 진정한 휴머니즘, 행동하는 브랜드, 그리고 사회 약자에 대한 배려라는 주제들이 글로벌한 크리에이티브 트렌드로서 많은 기업들이 소비자들에게 전달하고자 하는 메시지임을 확인했다. 단순한 시각적 자극에서 벗어나 소리 및 향기를 이용해 적극적으로 브랜드를 알리고자 하는 노력들은 기존에도 있었지만, 어떻게 새롭게 보여줄 것인가를 고민한 캠페인이 눈에 띄었다. 데이터들 속에서 의미 있는 소비자 인사이트를 찾아내 그것에 크리에이티비티를 더해 소비자들에게 감동을 주고, 결국 행동의 변화를 일으키고자 하는 캠페인들 역시 칸 국제광고제에서 호평을 받았으며, 진정한 휴머니즘을 바탕으로 한 광고들도 좋은 평가를 받았다. 기업의 철학 그리고 브랜드의 목적을 져버리지 않고 옳은 것을 행하는 '행동주의'에 앞장선 나이키의 사례는 큰 반향을 일으켰다. 마지막으로, 사회 약자인 장애인들을 배려한 프로젝트들 역시 2019 칸 국제광고제에서 수상했다.

본 연구는 드라마 <절정>(2011)을 통해서 드라마에서 시 텍스트가 삽입되는 방식과 시인의 표상화 방식을 검토한다. 이 드라마는 시인이자 독립 운동가였던 이육사를 중심인물로 내세우고, 그의 생애를 따라가는 서사 구조를 택하고 있다. 드라마는 시인의 생에서 가장 극적인 순간에 그의 시를 환상적인 이미지와 함께 삽입함으로써 드라마의 서정성과 영상미를 극대화한다. 시와 함께 제시되는 이미지는 이육사의 치열한 고난을 극대화하는 한편으로, 시를 이 고난의 결정체로 그려낸다. 이로써 드라마 <절정>은 이육사의 시를 활용함으로써 중심인물 이육사의 내면세계를 영상으로 형상화한다. 이육사의 시를 이미지와 함께 활용하여 시의 아름다움과 곧은 정신세계를 지닌 시인의 표상화를 동시에 꾀하는 것이다. 이는 시인이자 독립 운동가였던 이육사를 행동하는 지식인으로서 균형감 있게 그려낸 결과이다. 드라마 <절정>은 영상을 통하여 시와 시인의 표상화를 진정성 있게 수행한 주요한 텍스트이다.

This study aims to develop a mechanic embroidery bag design that reflects the symbolic image of Korean independence activists who sacrificed for the country so that today's Korea can exist. As a research method, the theoretical consideration and image collection of independence activists were conducted through a literature review and visits to the memorial halls of six independence activists. The bag design was developed using mechanic embroidery textile of 12 motifs manufactured in previous studies through the computer mechanic embroidery sewing machine, and the types were limited to totes, Boston, clutches, baskets, shoppers, hover bags, and hat boxes. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that the dense light and shade and delicate color expression of each motif design were the most important and achieved through the proper selection and utilization of embroidery yarn according to the mechanic embroidery expression technique for developing in-depth textile materials. Second, unlike in the past, when machine embroidery was difficult to handle, the spread of embroidery CAD and computer machine embroidery sewing machines made it easier for individuals to develop embroidery products. Third, this study once again emphasized the symbolism of Korean independence activists who sacrificed for the nation to exist at a time when it needs to be recognized due to the lack of fashion and diversity in cultural products containing historical and cultural meaning and values of the country. This study was able to develop computer machine embroidery textiles and various bag designs using various mechanic embroidery expression techniques that can highlight the symbolic image of each motif.

The present research investigated perceptions of persons wearing Korean and Western clothing with reference to judgement of appropriateness of style in a variety of socially interacting contexts and relationship to social schemata and to general clothing interest. 180 male and 180 female students responded to open-ended and Likert-type questionnaires. The stimuli were 9 line drawings of male and female figures in traditional Korean and Western formal and informal attire. Data were analyzed by content analysis, frequency, percentage, and mean. Traditional Korean clothing was judged as inappropriate on the campus and in the office but appropriate in the ambiguous context. Korean traditional styles were related to person schemata, but Western styles were related to role schemata. Furthermore, Korean styles were considered to be 'impractical' and 'inactive.' A newly emerging perception of persons wearing Korean attire as 'individualistic' and 'radical activist' was discovered. Impressions of persons wearing traditional Korean clothing were partially related to subject's own clothing interest.

This paper deals with the nature and function of intensification in Korean in a wider scope of context which was not paid proper attention. Unobserved new areas of intensification are paid more attention like sound split of polysemy e.g. [s'eda], [kyongk'i] by n of intensification and north Korean application of intensification on [wonsu] and intensification of borrowed English. The recent phenomenon of 'gwua' intensification is experimented on two groups of people, young students and old people beyond 65 years old by means of sociolinguistic analysis. The result shows that its intensification is a form of student violent power and a mark of extreme solidarity among activist students. In conclusion, the nature of so called saisiot[t] e.g. intensification is voiceless tensed pause and its functions are the polarization of the original meaning of the word, sound split of polysemy and attachment of social values by intensification.

This study is to seek for the reuse of vacant houses in the old settlement of urban area, focused on the Andeokbeol in Cheongju city, Korea. The following results were derived. Firstly, the maintenance and reuse methods of vacant houses are made for a number of house type as well as a variety of locational characteristics(flatland, gentle and steep slope) of the Andeokbeol. Secondly, reuse plans of vacant houses are established for a variety of classes such as local residents, artist and youth activist around cultural complex(Cheongju old cigarette factory), and outsiders. Thirdly, owners, users and intermediaries of vacant houses should find a solution to the reuse of them in company with Andeokbeol residents. And also institutional and administrative support measures are established for reuse of vacant houses.

This study aims to apply corpus-based approach to analyze The Yellow Wall-Paper and Herland written by Charlotte Perkins Gilman, a women's rights activist in the late nineteenth-century America. Although both works have attracted feminists' attention to the woman question that concerned Gilman, discussion on her language features and their relation to the literary themes of these two works is still in need. In this corpus-based analysis, we argue that the main themes of different literary works can be revealed through linguistic patterns identified by number and gender features of nouns and pronouns in the contrast of two works and a balanced corpus. The linguistic features (number and gender) have been related with two themes, the 'group and individual' and the 'feminine and masculine', and are further interpreted in terms of mothering and feminine consciousness. By adopting linguistic approach, our study provides quantitative and qualitative evidence to verify the established themes and arguments of these literary texts.

이 연구에서는 도자기를 모티브로 한 일본의 한 농촌지역의 지역활성화운동의 사례를 살펴보고자 하였다. 특히 도자기가 지역활성화의 모티브가 된 역사와 핵심 활동가집단의 이념적 특성과 역할, 그리고 변화하는 현실에 대한 지역사회의 대응전략 등을 중점적으로 검토하였다. 마시코(益子)지역의 도자기산업은 19세기에 본격적으로 발전하기 시작하였고, 20세기에 접어들어서 여러 번 고비를 겪었지만 1960년대부터 민예운동과 결합되면서 비교적 안정적으로 도자기산업이 성장하였다. 이러한 마시코의 경험은 1980년대 말 이후 일본정부가 주력하였던 '위로부터의' 지역활성화운동과는 달리 자생적인 '밑으로부터의' 지역활성화운동이라고 평가할 수 있다. 또한 일본 전국에 유행처럼 번진 지역활성화운동들보다 선행하여 지역의 전통적이고 토착적인 문화적 자원을 적극적으로 활용한 사례라고 할 수 있다. 민예운동과 결합한 마시코의 지역활성화운동은 문화예술가 집단의 이념적 지도를 바탕으로 부단히 변화하는 현실의 상황들에 적극적으로 대응하여 왔다. 그 대표적인 예로 들 수 있는 것이 1950년대 중반부터 일용 도자기생산으로부터 민예품 도자기생산으로의 전환과 1960년대 중반의 도자기생산 및 판매의 핵심활동가집단의 공식적 출범과 산지직매체계의 구축, 그리고 1980년대 이후의 본격적인 민관협력 등이다. 현재까지 도자기를 모티브로 한 마시코의 지역활성화운동은 비교적 성공적인 길을 걸어왔지만, 지역사회의 다양하고 복잡한 최근의 내부 분화는 현실의 조건에 맞게 새로운 전통을 만들어가야 하는 상황에 놓여 있다는 것을 말해준다.

본 연구는 시민단체 활동가로서 살아가고 있는 자녀가 있는 여성들의 일과 다른 생활에서의 경험을 이해함으로써 그들의 지속가능한 일하는 삶의 조건은 무엇인지를 제시해보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 B 지역에서 활동하는 자녀가 있는 여성 활동가 10명을 대상으로 초점집단면접을 실시하였고 그 결과 여성 활동가들이 활동하는 조직의 특성부터 여성 활동가로서의 다양한 경험, 자신의 일을 지속하기 위해 필요한 사회적 지원까지 이해할 수 있었다. 따라서 사회적으로 여성 활동가들의 노동에 대한 인식 변화부터 활동가들이 일을 지속할 수 있는 사회인프라 구축까지 다양한 측면에서의 고민이 이루어져야 하고 자녀가 있는 여성 활동가들을 위한 처우 개선 범위는 단순히 인건비로 한정되기보다는 더 확대될 필요가 있으며 그들이 일하는 조직의 특성과 요구를 고려한 다층적인 교육과 컨설팅이 제공될 필요가 있을 것이다. 본 연구는 시민사회 여성 활동가들의 일·생활 경험과 요구를 통해 그들의 일하는 삶을 이해할 수 있는 근거를 제공하고 여성 활동가들을 위한 사회적 지원의 범위를 생각할 수 있었다는 점에서 의의가 있으며, 향후 지속적인 연구를 통해 조금 더 다양한 여성단체와 풀뿌리 여성조직에서 활동하는 여성 활동가들의 욕구를 파악하고 추가적인 분석과 논의를 담아내야 할 것이다.
