수중 가청음에 대한 잿방어 어군의 유집 반응 (A Thronging Response of the Shoal of Rudder Fish , Seriola Dumerili ( Risso ) to Audible Underwater Sound)

  • 제주도 연안에 분포되어 있는 정치망에 어획되는 어류의 음향 유집 효과에 대한 기초자료를 제공할 목적으로, 정치망의 주요 어획 대상 어종인 잿방어의 식이음, 유영음, 어선의 기관소음, 정현파 순음 등을 녹음시켜, 제작한 수중확성기로잿방어를 사육하는 가두리 양식장에 방성하였을 때, 각 음에 대한 어류을 행동 반응을 조사.분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 제작된 수중확성기의 수중 실험에서는 측정 주파수의 모든 주파수에서 입력파형과 출력파형이 잘 일치하여 주파수 200.600Hz의 수중음을 방성할 수 있었다. 2. 순음 주파수 300Hz및 400Hz를 방성하였을 때 보다 훨씬 민감한 반을을 보였다. 4. 잿방어 어군의 식이음, 유영음 스펙트럼은 주간과 야간에 관계없이 비슷한 음압분포를 나타내었고, 주파수 200~600Hz부근에서 낮은 음압 분포를 나타내었다.

세포 배양 가능한 커버슬립형 초음파 변환자 (Cell-cultivable ultrasonic transducer integrated on glass-coverslip)

  • 초음파 뇌 자극술을 통하여 뇌 심부의 국소 지역에 있는 뇌 세포의 활성화를 유도할 수 있으며, 이를 통하여 저하된 뇌 기능을 치료하는데 효과가 있음이 보고되어 왔다. 반면, 초음파 자극의 종류에 따라 신경 변조의 효율과 방향이 달라질 수 있음이 알려져 있어, 적절한 초음파 자극의 종류를 확립하는 연구가 중요하다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 이를 효과적으로 최적화 하기 위해 세포 배양시 사용되는 커버슬립 기반의 초음파 변환자를 제안하고자 한다. 균일한 초음파 자극을 전도하기 위해서 폴리머 압전소자(Poly-vinylidene fluoride-trifluorethylene, PVDF-TrFE)를 스핀 코팅하고 패를린 절연층을 상단에 적층시켜 음압 출력을 극대화 시켰다. 개발된 초음파 변환자 융합 커버슬립은 초음파자극기 표면에 배양된 수십개의 신경세포에 균일하고 정확한 초음파 자극을 전달 할 수 있고, 자극에 따른 세포의 반응을 형광 현미경으로 실시간 관찰 가능하다. 따라서, 동일한 초음파 자극에 대한 세포의 반응 신호를 최대 수십개 세포로부터 동시에 획득 가능하므로, 반응 신호를 평균 한다면 낮은 강도의 초음파 자극에 따른 뇌 세포의 미세한 반응을 검출할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 초음파 변환자와 물의 표면 등에서 발생하는 정현파에 의한 자극의 왜곡 현상을 줄일 수 있어서 사용자가 원하는 초음파 자극을 정확하게 세포로 전달 가능하다. 이렇게 개발된 초음파 변환자를 통해 변환자 표면에 배양된 별세포에서 6 MHz, 0.2 MPa의 저강도 초음파 자극에 의해 유도된 칼슘 반응을 성공적으로 관찰할 수 있었다.

TLS와 CW 광원에 따른 트랜스포머 오일 내에서 광섬유 센서의 음압 감지 특성 연구 (Investigation of Sound Pressure Detection of Fiber Optic Sensor in Transformer Oil According to TLS and CW Laser Source)

  • 음압을 감지할 수 있는 Sagnac 간섭계 센서와 온도 및 스트레인을 측정할 수 있는 FBG센서를 결합한 새로운 형태의 하이브리드 광섬유 센서 시스템을 구축하기 위하여 입력 광원인 CW를 TLS로 대체할 필요가 있어 이에 따라 광원의 변화와 맨드릴 재료의 변화에 따른 광섬유 센서의 응답 특성 연구가 필요하게 되었다. 제작된 맨드릴 재료는 PTFE와 PTFE에 카본을 섞어 만든 두 종류로 선택하여 중공 원통형 맨드릴 겉면에 광섬유를 18 m 감아 광섬유 센서로 제작하였다. CW 광원에 대하여 음원의 입력 주파수를 1 kHz~20 kHz까지 바꾸어 가며 트랜스포머 오일이 채워진 유조에서 실험하였다. 또한 FBG와 맨드릴형 광섬유 센서를 결합한 하이브리드형 광섬유 센서 시스템을 구성하고 TLS 광원을 입사광으로 실험하였다. 실험 결과 PTFE 센서의 탐지 크기는 카본 센서 탐지 크기보다 높게 나타났고 맨드릴 재질의 탄성계수 값이 적을수록 커진다는 이론 결과와 잘 일치함을 보였다. CW 광원과 TLS 광원에서 응답한 PTFE 센서의 특성을 주파수별로 상호 비교하여 보면 광원이 CW일 때 보다 TLS일 때 응답 특성이 우수함을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구를 통하여 TLS를 이용한 광섬유 센서는 FBG와의 하이브리드 시스템에 적용 가능하리라 사료된다.

다목적 홀에서의 프론트필 스피커의 필요성 (The need of Front-fill Speaker in the Multipurpose Hall)

  • 영상을 적극적으로 사용하는 종교 시설과 같은 장소에서는 스크린 높이에 따라 메인 스피커의 높이가 결정된다. 이로 인해 '음상불일치'와 '저음부스팅'과 같은 음향 장애 요인이 발생하여 시각적으로 좋은 자리인 앞 좌석이 음향적으로는 좋지 않은 장소가 되고 만다. 이러한 음향적 장애를 최소화하기 위해서는 프론트필(Front-fill) 스피커를 적극적으로 도입할 필요가 있으며, 스크린 때문에 높아진 메인 스피커와의 거리 및 음압 차이에 따라 적합한 용량을 결정해야 한다. 프론트필 스피커를 적극적으로 사용하여 음상일치(音像一致)를 구현함으로써 음의 집중도를 높이고, 고음(高音) 유입이 상대적으로 부족한 앞좌석에 중고음을 보강하여 주파수 응답을 고르게 구현할 수 있다. 멀티미디어 환경에서 주요 좌석인 앞쪽 열에 메인 스피커의 부족한 부분을 보완하여 더 쾌적한 음향 환경을 구현하기 위해 프론트필 스피커를 적극적으로 도입할 필요가 있으며, 이에 대한 구체적인 기준안 제시가 필요하다.

  • 액체저장탱크의 지진 거동은 유체-구조물 상호작용에 의해 복잡하게 나타나므로, 이 시스템의 지진응답과 피해를 정확하게 예측하기 위해서는 이를 엄밀히 고려하여야 한다. 이 연구에서는 유체-구조물 상호작용을 엄밀히 고려하여 양방향 수평 지반운동이 작용하는 직사각형 액체저장탱크의 지진응답 해석을 수행하고 그 응답 특성을 분석하고자 한다. 이를 위해 지진하중 작용 시 발생하는 유체 동수압을 유한요소 기법을 사용하여 산정하고, 이 동수압을 구조물의 유한 요소에 작용하여 전체 시스템의 동적 거동을 모사한다. 예제 직사각형 액체저장탱크의 지진응답 해석을 통하여 대상 시스템의 동적 거동은 양방향 수평 지반운동이 작용하는 방위각에 의해 유의미한 영향을 받음을 확인할 수 있다. 그러므로 직사각형 액체저장탱크의 내진설계를 수행하거나 내진성능을 검토할 때는 이러한 특성을 고려하여야 할 것이다.

RF 마그네트론 스터터링에 의한 ZnO박막증착 및 SAW 필터 특성 분석 (Deposition of ZnO Thin Films by RF Magnetron Sputtering and Charcaterization of the ZnO thin film SAW filter)

  • rf 마그네트론 스퍼터링법을 이용하여 7059 유리기판 위에 ZnO압전박막을 증착하고, 공정변수인 rf 인가전력, 반응기 압력, $O_{2}$/Ar의 조성비등이 증착되는 박막의 결정성 및 전기적 특성에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다. 증착된 ZnO박막은 문헌에 보고된 증착속도보다 높은 값(200-1000$\AA$/min)을 가졌으며, XRD(002)피크의 rocking curve 표준편차가 SAW 필터로의 응용이 가능한 $6^{\circ}$미만의 값을 가졌다. $O_{2}$Ar 유입비가 25%이상의 경우에는 매우 높은 저항치를 가짐을 알 수 있었다. ZnO박막의 두께와 파장의 비, $\frac{h}{\lambda}$=0.25인 조건에서 필터를 제조하였다. 측정한 주파수 응답특성과 이론치에 의해 계산한 주파수응답특성은 비교적 잘 일치함을 알 수 있었다. 이때 중심주파수는 39.08MHz였으며, 상속도는 \ulcorner 2501m/sec, 삽입손실은 약 29dB였다.

PVDF(Polyvinylidene Fluoride) 필름형 트랜스듀서 하이브리드 터널배수재에 대한 오염퇴적물 제거효율의 현장 적용성 평가 (Assessment of Field Application of Contaminated Sediment Removal Efficiency Using PVDF Combined Hybrid Tunnel Drainage)

  • 배수 시스템에서 오염퇴적물이 장기간 발생하게 되면 배수관 폐색현상을 일으켜 유지관리가 어렵고 배수관의 잔류수압이 커져 파손의 위험이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 PVDF 필름에 의해 발생하는 진동에너지를 활용하여 물리/화학적 폐색에 의한 터널배수 시스템 폐색을 감소시키는 시스템을 구축하였다. 또한, PVDF 필름을 기존 배수재와 융합한 하이브리드 배수재와 역압전 효과를 일으킬 수 있는 구동장치로 배수재 유지관리 시스템을 개발하였다. 터널 배수관 유지관리 성능을 고찰하기 위하여 실내조건에서 오염퇴적물을 모사하고 진동조건에서 폐색저감 효율을 관찰하였다. 그 결과 개발된 PVDF 필름 구동 장비로 20분 내외의 진동에너지를 발생하여 씻겨나간 오염퇴적물의 잔류면적을 측정한 결과 74.62%의 오염퇴적물 제거효과를 볼 수 있었다. 현장 적용성 평가를 위하여 PVDF 필름을 배수관에 부착하고 장기적으로 음압측정을 하여 실내실험으로부터의 측정 음압과 비교하여 현장실험의 대응율을 제시하였다. 현장실험은 터널 배수관으로부터 내부에 폐색이 주로 발생하는 구간인 종배수관과 횡배수관에 PVDF 필름을 부착하였고 터널현장 음압측정 실험으로부터 오염물퇴적 제거효율은 실내실험대비 현장 대응율은 90% 이상으로 확인됐다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms. Our department has developed an information system for routine hematology using down-sized computer system. The operating system and database management system were SCO UNIX and SCO foxbase, respectively. For program development, we used Xbase language provided by SCO foxbase. The C language was used for interface purpose. To make the system use friendly, pull-down menu was used. The system connected to our hospital information system via application program interface (API), so the information related to patient and request details is automatically transmitted to our computer. Our system interfaced with fwd complete blood count analyzers(Sysmex NE-8000 and Coulter STKS) for unidirectional data tansmission from analyzer to computer. The frame and leaflet of the polymer valve were made from polyurethane, To evaluate the hemodynamic performance of the polymer valve a comparative study of flow dynamics past a polymer valve and a St. Jude Medical prosthetic valve under physiological pulsatile flow conditions in vitro was made.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N.
