국제성함양과 관련된 프로그램 학습성과 평가체계 개선 연구 (A Study on Improved Assessment System for a Program Outcome on the Cultivation of Internationality)

  • 본 논문에서는 현재 대학 현장에서 적용하고 있는 학습성과 평가체계를 분석하여, 이를 개선한 평가체계의 모형을 국제성함양 학습성과를 예로 들어 제시하였다. 제시된 학습성과 평가체계는 PC별로 수행수준을 제시하고, 수행수준에 근거한 달성목표를 프로그램 차원에서 설정하여, 학생이 졸업 시점에서 학습성과 달성 여부를 용이하게 입증하는 체계를 갖추고 있다. 이렇게 평가체계를 구축함으로서 PC별로 CQI를 운영할 수 있어 교육현장에서의 업무를 감소할 수 있을 것이다. 또한 이러한 평가체계 수립에서 고려해야할 중요한 측면은 평가체계를 논리적이고 객관적으로 구성해야 한다는 사실을 논의하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 학습성과 평가체계 모형은 대학 현장에서 학생의 학습성과 달성을 입증할 수 있는 용이한 모형이 될 것이라 판단된다.

식육판매장의 HACCP system 운용 개선을 위한 제언 (Suggestions for better HACCP system operation in butcher shops)

  • Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) system application is expanded to food chain from farm to table to supply safe livestock products with consumers in Korea. The objectives of this study were to analyze the HACCP operating conditions in butcher shops and to suggest for better HACCP implementation. We analyzed the HACCP inspection reports for butcher shops implemented by the Korea Livestock Products HACCP Accreditation Service from 2007 to 2009 and from 2010 to 2012 to compare the rate of HACCP non-compliances. The overall rate of non-compliances was higher in 2010~2012 than 2007~2009. The current inadequate HACCP operating level was directly related with the business size. Ninety-nine percent of the butcher shops were very small business with under 10 employees in Korea, and these small-sized businesses usually had great difficulties in implementing HACCP due to lack of technical expertise and financial resources. To overcome the obstacles and to facilitate more effective HACCP application and operation in butcher shops, government should play a leading role in developing flexible and simplified HACCP-based system which merges both the pre-requisite and HACCP principles.

History of Japanese medical education

  • Since medical education programs in Korea and Japan seem to mutually influence each other, this review article provides a history of Japanese medical education, focusing on the way in which it influenced and was influenced by Korean medical education. In the late 19th century, the University of Tokyo established the core medical school, disseminating its scholarship and system to other medical schools. In the early 20th century, the balance between the quality and quantity of medical education became a new issue; in response, Japan developed different levels of medical school, ranging from imperial universities to medical colleges and medical vocational schools. After World War II, all of Japan's medical schools became part of the university system, which was heavily regulated by the Ministry of Education (MOE) Standard for the Establishment of Universities. In 1991, MOE deregulated the Standard; since 2000, several new systems have been established to regulate medical schools. These new approaches have included the Model Core Curriculum, 2-year mandatory postgraduate training, and a medical education accreditation system. Currently, most medical schools are nervous, as a result of tighter regulatory systems that include an accreditation system for undergraduate education and a specialty training system for postgraduate education.

고등교육기관 평가인증제에 대한 대학의 대응 노력이 대학의 지각된 경영성과에 미치는 영향 : 전문대학을 중심으로 (The Affect of the University's Response to the Evaluation and Accreditation System of Higher Education Institutions on the Perceived Management Performance of the University : Focused on Junior Colleges)

  • 4차 산업혁명과 융복합 시대를 맞아 국내 대학들도 교육의 질 개선을 비롯한 적극적인 변화가 요구되는 상황에서 1주기 전문대학의 기관평가인증제에 대한 대학의 대응 노력이 대학의 BSC 관점의 지각된 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증분석을 목적으로 하고 있다. 연구 모형을 검증하기 위하여 1주기 기관평가인증제 심사를 받은 전문대학을 대상으로 152부의 설문지를 표본으로 하여 SPSS v.18을 이용하여 검정하였다. 분석 결과 평가인증제에 대한 대학의 대응 노력 중 평가인증제에 대한 관심 정도는 학습과 성장 성과에만 영향을 미치며, 평가인증 준비의 적절성은 고객 성과, 내부프로세스 성과, 재무 성과에 영향을 미치며, 자체평가의 만족도는 BSC 4가지 관점의 성과 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 기관평가인증제를 통한 대학의 경영성과 관리방안을 강구하는데 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이다. 향후 기관평가인증제를 대학 경영성과의 확대로 연결 지을 수 있는 발전된 연구가 필요하겠다.

  • 공학교육 인증제도를 원활하게 수행하기 위해서는 교수를 비롯한 각 구성원의 노력이 필수적이며, 이는 공학교육 인증제도의 성패를 좌우할 만큼 중요한 요소이다. 이의 성공적인 수행은 수반되는 구성원의 업무를 어떻게 효과적으로 최소화할 수 있느냐에 달려있다고 해도 지나치지 않을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 공학교육인증관련업무의 전전산화와 최소화를 목표로 필자 등이 개발하여 창원대학교에서 운용중인 SAVIORS에 대한 내용과 적용사례를 소개하여 동일한 숙제를 안고 있는 기관들과 유익한 정보를 공유하고자 한다. 특히, 학생에 대한 상담 절차, 각 구성원의 설문조사 및 분석 체계, 강의 및 설계 계획서 작성체계, 학습성과 평가 및 성취도 분석, CQI 작성, 졸업생현황 관리체계, 각종 통계처리 둥 공학교육인증의 주요 사항에 대한 총괄관리 및 지원 전산시스템의 구성과 적용사례를 기술하고자 한다.

의사소통 능력에 대한 학습성과 평개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on Development of the Assessment System for the Program Outcomes on the Communication Skill Competence)

  • Professional communication skills in writing and speaking with multiple and complex audiences are required to engineers in society of modern technology. In this paper, we proposed the effective assessment system for the Program Outcomes on the communication skill competence(PO7), which is one of the 12 program outcomes stipulated by ABEEK (Accreditation Board for Engineering Education of Korea). To ensure logical connectivity of the assessment system, we carefully selected the performance criteria by defining the core concept of "written communication" and "verbal communication". Based on the selected performance criteria, the whole process of creating assessment tools and rubrics was explained in detail. It can be expected that the assessment for the Program Outcomes on the communication skill competence would be more systematic by using the proposed assessment system.

대학부속 한방병원 교직원의 안전활동에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors that Impact on Safety Activities of Personnels in Oriental Medicine Hospital of University)

  • Purposes : The purpose of this study is to identify factors that have effects on safety activities of hospital personnels by investigating causality between patient safety culture, job stress, safety system and safety activities of faculty and staff member who are working for oriental medicine hospital of university. Methodology : The subjects were 246 employees working in 4 oriental medicine hospitals of university in Daejeon and Chungcheongnam-do. The data were collected from January 16 to January 25, 2017 using a structured questionnaire. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation coefficient, t-test, ANOVA and Duncan test with SPSS 22.0 were used. Findings : The activity score for patient safety of faculty and staff member, who were experienced at job training program after joining a company and regular training course for qualification or license, was meaningfully higher than that of group who had no job training experience. The result indicated that the higher there is level of safety culture and safety system and the lower there is work stress, the more the activity has positive effect on patient safety. The level score of awareness for safety culture of faculty and staff member in C hospital, which is facing financial crisis in business circumstances recently, showed average value of 3.29. It was significantly lower than that of the other three hospital. Also, The activity score for patient safety was markedly lower than that of the other three hospital. This result become interested in the process of linking non-financial performance and financial performance. The level score of safety activity in A hospital which obtained healthcare accreditation was remarkably higher than that of the other three hospital which didn't certify healthcare accreditation. Pratical Implications : Subjects about Q.I or patient's experience management must be included in curriculum of Oriental medicine. It is necessary to get the effect of job training program for faculty and staff member through the process of preparation for obtaining healthcare accreditation. When the hospital director is appointed, it must be considered that he/she has the ability to attach importance to analysis and management of the factors creating safety accident, and has business mindset for healthcare delivery of customer- centricity. This research showed that financial performance of hospital, which of business environment is favorable; located in metropolitan city and having large scale of hospital and quality of residence rating but low-level of safety culture and safety activity, was lower than that of general hospital situated in small and medium-sized cities. More research needs to be done for answering this result.

M&S기반 무기체계개발에서 시스템 안전요건 반영을 통한 VV&A 프로세스 개선에 관한 연구 (On Improving the Verification, Validation and Accreditation Process by Including Safety Requirements in M&S-Based Development of Weapon Systems)

  • Modern weapon systems are getting more complex in terms of the functionality and also the conditions on the environment and range in which they are deployed and used. Therefore, many development programs can easily be exposed to a variety of risks, resulting in delayed schedules and cost overrun. As such, effective means are necessary to keep the defence budget at an affordable level while competitive edges on technological aspects are retained. As one way to meet those need, modeling and simulation (M&S) methods have widely been used, particularly in the test and evaluation (T&E) process for weapon systems development. The result of M&S-based systems development should be evaluated by the verification, validation & accreditation (VV&A) process to assure keeping reliability at a desired level. On the other hand, due to the explosiveness, the weapons systems development naturally requires to consider safety issues in both the T&E and operational periods. The purpose of this paper is to improve the VV&A process by reflecting the safety requirements therein. To do so, the VV&A process has been analyzed and graphically modeled first and then safety elements have been incorporated effectively. The use of the improved process in the war ships development has also been discussed. Based on the process proposed and the consequent database constructed, the target system can be expected to benefit from reducing development risks while assuring systems safety.

의료기관 평가제도 영양부문 기준 및 결과의 시계열 변화 분석 (The Time Series Analysis of Standards and Results of Nutritional Domain in Hospital Evaluation Program)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the current state of foodservice and clinical nutrition management in a hospital-based nutrition department. Nutritional guidelines and survey reports of hospital evaluation programs from 2004 to 2009 were analyzed. In total, 275 hospitals in the first period and 288 hospitals in the second period were evaluated. The division of knife and chopping board use decreased from 97.2% in 2005 to 89.7% in 2008, the maintenance of a proper freezer temperature (below $-18^{\circ}C$) increased from 82.1% in 2004 to 97.7% in 2007 (88.9% to 97.4% from large hospitals and 69.8% to 86.5% from small/medium hospitals in 2005 and 2008, respectively). In tube-feeding management, the performance rate of material cold storage and the offer rate of tube-feeding were 65.9% and 94.2% in 2007, respectively. The cold storage of material, proper use within 24 hours after opening or production, and the use of an appropriate label were 47.3%, 71.2% and 67.2% in 2009, respectively. The rate of a management system for undernourished patients was 86.0% in 2007 (56.4% for large hospitals, 18.9% for small/medium hospitals) and 14.3% in 2009. In standards of nutrition support management, the performance rates of constructing a nutrition support team, the nutrition support team activity, and organizing multidisciplinary team were 66.7%, 43.6%, and 64.1% respectively, in 2004. For large hospitals, those rates were 61.1%, 36.1%, and 58.3%, in 2005, 93.0%, 62.8%, and 91.9% in 2007, and 69.2%, 43.6%, and 69.2% in 2008, respectively. The results of this study suggest standards on sanitary foodservice preparation, production, and tube-feeding production need to correspond with HACCP regulations for small/meidium hospitals in standards of a healthcare accreditation system. It will be necessary to understand the operating conditions of nutrition departments in convalescent hospitals, psychiatric hospitals, and geriatrics hospitals. As the application of accreditation is required from 2013, standards will need to be improved and continuously updated for healthcare accreditation.

효율적인 국방M&S 인정업무 수행을 위한 평가시스템 발전방안 연구 (A Study on Improving Plan of the Evaluating System for Efficient Defense M&S Accreditation Work)

  • 최근 4차산업혁명을 통해 융합 기술이 발달하면서, 국방 분야에서도 이러한 흐름을 바탕으로 무기체계의 첨단화, 고도화 등을 모색하고 있다. 하지만 첨단 기술을 바탕으로 개발되는 무기체계의 성능시험은 여러 변수들이 존재하며, 실제 운용환경에서 시험을 수행하기에 많은 어려움이 따른다. 이러한 문제점을 극복하기 위한 방안으로 M&S 자원을 적극 활용하여 그 성능을 입증하고 있으나, 사용 중인 M&S 자원의 신뢰성을 보증할 수 있는 수단을 추가로 요구하고 있다. 이에 따라 위한 VV&A 업무 수행을 통해 M&S 자원의 신뢰성을 확보하고 있다. VV&A 업무의 지속적인 요구와 수행으로 인해 관련 제도 등은 많은 발전이 이루어졌지만, 업무 수행을 위한 도구나 기법 등은 제도에 맞추어 발전하지 못하여 업무 수행에 있어 비효율적인 부분이 존재하며, 체계적인 시스템의 부재로 인하여 보안 등 여러 안전사고가 발생할 수 있는 위험성을 다수 내포하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 수행중인 국방M&S VV&A 업무의 문제점 분석을 통해 보다 효율적이고 안전한 방법을 모색하고, 이를 기반으로 업무의 발전방향을 제시하고자 한다.
