Although deep learning methods of convolutional neural networks (CNNs) and long-/short-term memory (LSTM) are widely used for text categorization, they still have certain shortcomings. CNNs require that the text retain some order, that the pooling lengths be identical, and that collateral analysis is impossible; In case of LSTM, it requires the unidirectional operation and the inputs/outputs are very complex. Against these problems, we thus improved these traditional deep learning methods in the following ways: We created collateral CNNs accepting disorder and variable-length pooling, and we removed the input/output gates when creating bidirectional LSTMs. We have used four benchmark datasets for topic and sentiment classification using the new methods that we propose. The best results were obtained by combining LTSM regional embeddings with data convolution. Our method is better than all previous methods (including deep learning methods) in terms of topic and sentiment classification.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of recovery from disease in the patients doing a kind of Buddhist meditation, and to develop a grounded theory about meditation. Method: Data was collected by an in-depth interview using tape-recordings from sixteen participants doing meditation. The data was analyzed using the grounded theory method proposed by Strauss and Corbin(1998). Result: The core category was discovering the true self. The participants began to do meditation because of their disease. They experienced obstacles due to incomplete religious acceptance. However, their faith grew gradually based on religious experiences that were indescribable. Finally, they entirely trusted the inner healer, which is emphasized in meditation. The strategies that they used were self reflection and seeking help for accepting deep meditation. They were stabilized in physical, psychological and social daily living. The processes of discovering the true self were identified as entering religious discipline, embodying religious discipline, self-accomplishing religious faith, and recovering mind-body health. Conclusion: This study provided the understanding of mind-body integration. Empirical research may be needed to prove scientifically the effects of meditation.
Purpose: This study used a phenomenological method, which is a qualitative study, in order to understand the vivid experience of parents who have a disabled child. Methods: The number of participants was 10. The subjects of this study were parents who are raising their disabled child who attends a special school or normal middle or high schools in D city. The period for collecting materials was from September 2005 to July 2007. The phenomenological analysis method suggested by Giorgi was used. Results: The meanings of the child parenting experience of parents with a disabled child are (1) feeling of frustration of the delayed treatment, (2) difficult to accept the diagnosis of disability, (3) having eyes centered on her child, (4) accepting the disabled child, (5) giving all his energy to his disabled child, (6) making efforts for his family's unity, (7) recognizing the difficulty of parenting disabled child, (8) recognizing the difficulty of education for disabled child, (9) feeling pitiful for his their normal children, (10) planning for disabled child's future. Conclusions: All the programs for disabled child should be programed for their entire life. It is necessary to provide physical, psychological, emotional, social and economic nursing intervention to relieve or reduce the burden of parents with disabled children.
As the recent paradigm of education changes to become learner-centered, there is an increasing interest in project based class as one of new teaching models. Universities are accepting this change and aiming at fostering human resources of next generations, who are able to create creative changes, and studies are being actively conducted to that end. This study suggested a learner-centered teaching model which minimizes intervention of teachers in conducting projects of main text contents in designed subjects. This study suggested support system for the suggested model project-based class, team organization method, various interaction methods of learners, and team work monitoring method of teachers. And the suggestions were designed and realized through project management applications using smart phones which are being used by a rapidly growing number of people recently.
The purpose of this study is to examine to change in the Chinese women's clothing according to the inflow of Western culture in the first half of the both century As for the research method, both literature and visual data are reviewed. Research results are as follows: The Step of transition in clothing by period followed beginning stage, adopted stage, early developed stage, fully developed stage, and static stage. fully developed stage showed a perfect compromise while being applied to Chinese costume with being introduced a three-dimensional cutting method of western clothing even to the constitution as well as to the appearance. Design elements from western clothing are as follows. The transition of silhouette is box silhouette, trapeze silhouette, shift silhouette, and fitted silhouette. In detail and trimming, tailored, band, convertible, shirts collar and zigzag, scallop, camisole neckline and puff, cap sleeve and flounced, bell shaped cuffs and western button, zipper, etc. are adopted. Finally, the Chinese modern style are formed by accepting and transforming the western clothing based on the traditional Chinese clothing.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the experiences of parenting from the parents of children with ADHD and to develop a grounded theory about their experiences. Method: This study was a qualitative research study that used a grounded theory to understand and discuss the parenting experiences of parents of children with ADHD in a greater depth. Grounded data was collected through an in-depth interview from twelve participants with ADHD children. The data was analyzed using the grounded theory method. Results: 'Approaching the normal' emerged as the core phenomenone. Parenting experiences for parents of children with ADHD referred to a process of bringing the children, back on track of normal growth development, and their functioning in the family at a normal level and establishing a new normalcy. The process of approaching the normal involved a basic social-psychological process, such as 'living a day in hell', 'accepting', 'confronting the conflicts', 'lowering expectations', and 'making a new normalcy'. Conclusion: The outcomes of this study, which observed the parenting process of parents of children with ADHD, could enhance nurses' understanding of ADHD and help nurses become major mental health service providers for the mental health of children with ADHD and their families.
The dramatic growth of social networking sites (SNS) has created a myriad of privacy concerns. Our study focuses on how much monetary incentive SNS users are willing to accept in exchange for disclosing their SNS information by accepting friend requests. First, we focused on information privacy in SNS, and estimated the value of information privacy by using the contingent valuation method. Second, we attempted to estimate how SNS users' willingness to accept would change when demographic information and additional information vary. Privacy-sensitive SNS users have the following characteristics: higher education, less SNS experience, and higher security consciousness. On the contrary, those who make good use of SNS and use open-based SNS are less sensitive to privacy. In summary, privacy-sensitive SNS users are fearful or uneasy when they have insufficient control of SNS information. Considering 14 conditions on the value of information privacy on SNS, the mean value of SNS information per person is 173,957 won. If we apply this value to Facebook users, the total Facebook information value would be 1.91 trillion won, considering that there are 11 million users in Korea.
For a profound understanding about the elementary students' scientific attitude, I have performed this study based on the students' opinion by the ethnographic interview and participant observation of science classes. I have analyzed the data by qualitative data analyzing method, and compared the analyzed results with analyzed results by the Likert's scaled as il questionnaire method. To perform this study, I selected one elementary school located in an agricultural village in Choong-Buk Province in Korea and studied four 5th grade students. Here, I present results of this study as follows. First, in ethnographic interview, all informants represented positive reaction to scientific curiosity. But, It is appeared that there are external curiosity and internal curiosity. Internal curiosity is more closely and positively related to problem solving skills. Second, all informants represented positive open-mindness expressing their own opinions actively and accepting other students' opinions. Students who had positive critical-mindness and voluntariness recorded high scores in science achievement. Third, scientific attitude analyzed by ethnographic methods didn't correspond with scientific attitude measured by Likert's scale in all cases. I presumed this discrepant result could come from subjects' different tendency on replying to questionnaire and students' own criterion.

This paper reports a design of feedforward linear power amplifier using pilot tone for IMT-2000 band repeaters accepting multi-carrier. As this time pilot tone is applied to the circuit differently from the existing method. Only one pilot tone is used in both 1-st loop(IMD abstraction loop) and 2-nd loop(IMD cancellation loop) to cancell IMD signals automatically according to variation of frequency or power level of input signals. As an experiment, in range of 2110 MHz - 2170 MHz at LPA output power of $20 W_{avg}$, IMD characteristics of over 20 dB was improved maintaining below -60 dBc considering respective 20 MHz. Therefore the supposed feedforward linear power amplifier can be used for linear power amplifier in IMT-2000 band repeaters.
