The set concept has long been recognized as important for organizing traditional mathematics. Although 'to understand mathematical structure' is an important educational purpose, we think that leaching the abstract set theory in the 7th grade is too early. In this paper, we reviewed the set theory in the secondary school and we made some proposals such like that we must accept the term 'set' as 'collection' in 7th grade.

Recently due to repeatedly occurrence of flood, a lot of Chinese cities accept new design criteria for their protective project Most of them calculated by a certain type of probability distribution. In order to meet the demand of development economy the return period of design criteria is changed more longer and longer even 1000years, but the data which the calculation dependent on is only about 30-40 years. EPA(Electric Power Automation IT Infra) is a System for Protective Information Transmitter & Receiver and network service. KEPCO(Korea Electric Power Corporation) is building up a high-speed communication network to accept Smart Grid Infra expansion and various terminal communication media characteristic. Recently, MSPP(Multi Service Provisioning Platform) System is establishted to network service. But there are many considerations for optimal design of network service for the Electric Power Automation IT Infra.

It includes a job analysis method called ISD(Instructional Systems Design & Development) and DACUM(Developing a Curriculum) which is designed to accept various requirements of industrial fields. Forced commutated cycloconverters are capable of conversion from a fixed 3 phase source to 3 phase unrestricted variable frequency, variable voltage. They are able to accept regenerative power and the input displacement factor is controllable. Furthermore, the input current and the output current waveforms are closed to sinusoid.

An economic life test sampling plan for products with exponential lifetime distribution is developed. To reduce test time, a test plan with curtailed Type II censoring is considered. A cost model is constructed which involves three cost components; test cost, accept cost, and reject cost. Determination of optimal plan minimizing the expected average cost per lot is discussed with a constraint related to consumer's risk. Some numerical examples are provided.

Dual converter using diode bridge and 6-thyristor is discussed and the characteristics of this converter depending on their switching mode is revealed. The switching modes of converter operation are identified on both ac and dc sides. The circuit has the ability to accept or deliver DC current without change of nominal DC voltage magnitude or polarity and has the capability not only to instantaneously change from motoring to generating and vice versa, but to operate cycloconverter.

The digital electronic switching system has some problems, when this system processes OAM(Operation, Administration And Maintenance) messages about the fault, the traffic, the account, and the performance, etc. , at the present. Therefore, we studied on Methods that could process OAM messages out of all digital electronic switching systems and, first of all, developed the MGS (Message Gathering System) to be able to accept and process the fault message of OAM messages out of all digital electronic switching systems in real time.

This paper a new simple PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) signal generation based on modified relaxation oscillator is introduced. Its advantages of the proposed principle are that the precise PWM signal can be easily achieved with a high frequency range up to several megahertz and a low-voltage power supply. The proposed circuit can accept either voltage or current modulating signal. It is very suitable for developing into Integrated Circuits (ICs) form in communication applications. The simulation and experimental results are also depicted, they shown good agreement with theoretical anticipation.
