Recently the departments of aviation-related in the college are increased as the aviation industry is rapidly expanded. To enhance their competitiveness and have differentiation, it is emphasized for each department to manage and teach their students well. Therefore this study aims to examine self-efficacy and academic adjustment of aviation-related college students and investigate the relationship between self-efficacy and academic adjustment. To achieve the objectives, it conducted a survey of aviation-related college students in C university from Apr. 27th. 2015 to May. 22th. 2015. A total of 225 questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 statistical package program and frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, multiple regression analysis, correlation analysis and one-way ANOVA were conducted. The result released that general self-efficacy was recognized higher at the department of aviation operation than aviation maintenance and aviation service and social self-efficacy was recognized higher at the department of aviation service than aviation maintenance and aviation operation. Also general self-efficacy had an influence on the motivation, application and performance and social self-efficacy affected motivation, performance and academic environment. The implication of these findings would help to manage aviation-related college students, develop their departments and provide the directions for future research.

Purpose: Establishing a professional identity is important for nurses in providing quality nursing care and adapting to changing roles in various clinical settings. The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of nursing students' academic self-efficacy and clinical practice satisfaction on their professional identity. Methods: A total of 180 nursing students were recruited using convenience sampling from a university in G city in July, 2021. Results: The professional identity scores were higher than the average, and differed significantly according to nurses' academic grade, department satisfaction, interpersonal relations, and subjective health status. Professional identity showed a significant positive correlation with academic self-efficacy (r=.69, p<.001), major satisfaction (r=.72, p<.001), and clinical practice satisfaction (r=.71, p<.001). The factors affecting professional identity were clinical practice satisfaction (ß=.42, p<.001) and academic self-efficacy (ß=.38, p<.001). Conclusion: Our finding suggest that nursing students should be encouraged to develop their professional identity by improving clinical practice satisfaction and academic self-efficacy. Therefore, it is necessary to provide nursing education programs that increase their pride as nurses and establish their professionalism in nursing.

The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of socio-demographic variables on time management and to investigate the effects of time management on self-efficacy and academic achievement in college students. The data were collected from 382 college students through questionnaire surveys and analyzed using frequency, percentile, and regression analysis with the SPSS program. College students' time management behavior was influenced by the social status of their families and by their participation in time management education. There were differences in variables affecting time management according to its sub-areas (planning, regular habits, and goal-oriented behavior). Planning was influenced by the students' majors and by their participation in time management education. Regular habits were influenced by the students' genders and their families' social status. No variables affected goal-oriented behavior. Time management (especially planning and goal-oriented behavior) and gender had strong effects on self-efficacy, and male students showed more self-efficacious behavior than their female counterparts. Time management (especially planning and regular habits) and gender had strong effects on academic achievement, and female students received higher academic grades than their male counterparts. Based on these results, time management was confirmed as an influential element in self-efficacy and academic achievement. Planning and goal-oriented behavior particularly influenced self-efficacy, and planning and regular habits particularly influenced academic achievement.

Purpose: This study examined the effects of nursing professionalism, academic failure tolerance and social self-efficacy on college life satisfaction among nursing students. Methods: Data were collected between September 1 and October 16, 2015 via a self-reported questionnaire from 170 nursing students using convenient sampling methods. The survey included questions about nursing professionalism, academic failure tolerance, social self-efficacy, and college life satisfaction. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical multiple regression with IBM SPSS/WIN 20.0. Results: Establishment vision about nursing science (${\beta}=.27$, p=.006), academic failure tolerance (${\beta}=.17$, p=.031) and social self-efficacy (${\beta}=.19$, p=.012) of nursing students were identified as significant predictors of college life satisfaction, after adjusting for establishment vision about nursing science and satisfaction in nursing science. This model explained 21.0% of the college life satisfaction in nursing students (F=6.38, p<.001). Conclusion: These results suggest that academic failure tolerance and social self-efficacy were significant factors influencing the college life satisfaction of nursing students. Also, as a strategy for improving the college life satisfaction of nursing students, it is necessary to develop programs that can help to establish apparent vision and to improve satisfaction in nursing science.

MBTI results used to analyze student's personality type. The collected data were analyzed using 'SPSS Statistics 21.0'. Analysis methods such as frequency analysis, cross-tabulation analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, ANOVA, and multiple regression analysis were used. The findings of this study are as follows. The type of personality in the airline service department affects the self - efficacy such as self - control efficacy, confidence, preference of the task difficulty, and also affects the major satisfaction and the academic achievement. The self - efficacy affects the major satisfaction and the academic achievement, and also the major satisfaction can affect academic achievement. The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between emotional intelligence, academic self-efficacy, and self-leadership among nursing students. Subjects were 230 nursing students in South Korea. Data were collected using self-report questionnaires from September 1 to 30, 2015, and analyzed using frequencies, t-tests, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression using SPSS Win 18.0. Self-leadership was significantly positively correlated with emotional intelligence and academic self-efficacy in nursing students. Students with higher emotional intelligence and academic self-efficacy showed higher self-leadership. Emotional intelligence and academic self-efficacy explained 40.2% of the total variance in self-leadership among nursing students. Therefore, to increase nursing students' self-leadership, it is necessary to develop and test programs to ensure an improvement in emotional intelligence and academic self-efficacy among nursing students.
Data from the Seoul Panel Study of Children were analyzed for structural relationshipsamong types of child abuse, depressive tendencies, self-efficacy, and academic achievement. Subjects consisted of 1,785 fourth-grade elementary school children in 2004. Structural equation modeling was employed for statistical analyses. The results were that emotional abuse was indirectly related to academic achievement via depressive tendencies and self-efficacy; children who experienced emotional abuse were more likely to have higher depressive tendencies and lower self-efficacy, which in turn, resulted in lower academic achievement. Neglect was directly related to low academic achievement. In contrast, physical abuse had no relationship with these factors. Implications for practice from this study were discussed.
