임산부 한의약건강증진프로그램의 효과 (Effect of Korean medicine health promotion program for maternal health)

  • Objectives: The aim of this study is to survey on the effect of Korean medicine health promotion program for maternal health. Methods: We conducted Korean medicine health promotion program for maternal health to pregnant women who agreed to participate in this program among 10 public health center. Before and after program, we surveyed the Knowledge Score of Maternal Health Care, Practice of Health Behavior, (Traditional) Child Care Recognition, Depression, Child Caring Confidence and analyzed DID(Difference In Difference). Results: The Knowledge Score of Maternal Health Care of intervention group was improved about 1 point. The improvement of (Traditional) Child Care Recognition was significant. Depression score of intervention group was improved high significantly. The Child Caring Confidence of intervention group was improved about 1.3 point. Conclusion: As a result of analyzing the effect of Korean medicine health promotion program for maternal health, it is confirmed that this program can have an impact on improving Knowledge Score of Maternal Health Care, (Traditional) Child Care Recognition, Depression, Child Caring Confidence. It will be necessary to continue and develop this program widely.

보육시설 아동에 대한 교사의 안전교육 요구도 (The Degree of Safety Education Requirement for Younger Children in Child Daycare Center Teachers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the degree of safety education requirement in child daycare center teachers. Method: The data using questionnaire were collected from eight child daycare centers located in Seoul, Gyounggi-Do, and Kwangwon-Do. Final participants were 133 child daycare center teachers. Results: The degree of safety education requirement were as follows: education need of safety knowledge ($4.26{\pm}.50$), safety education need of daycare center ($3.29{\pm}.60$), recognition about safety education training ($3.94{\pm}.58$), and confidence of safety care practice ($2.75{\pm}.43$). There is significant correlation between education need of safety knowledge and safety education need of daycare center (r=.495, p<.001), education need of safety knowledge and recognition about safety education training (r=.555, p<.001), education need of safety knowledge and confidence of safety care practice (r=.201, p=.020), safety education need of daycare center and recognition about safety education training (r=.464, p<.001), and recognition about safety education training and confidence of safety care practice (r=.187, p=.032). Conclusion: On this study, child daycare center teachers' safety education requirement was relatively high. It is recommended that safety education for them should be done for children's healthy life.

Bootstrap Confidence Interval of Treatment Effect for Censored Data

  • Consider the confidence interval estimators of treatment effect when some of data to be analyzed are randomly censored, assuming two-sample location-shift model. Recently proposed PARK and PARK(1995) Estimators is discussed and a bootstrap estimator is proposed. This estimator is compared with other well-known estimators throught the simulation studies and recommendations about the use are made.

  • The use of confidence measures for word/utterance verification has become art essential component of any speech input application. Confidence measures have applications to a number of problems such as rejection of incorrect hypotheses, speaker adaptation, or adaptive modification of the hypothesis score during search in continuous speech recognition. In this paper, we present a new utterance verification method using vowel string. Using subword HMMs of VCCV unit, we create anti-models which include vowel string in hypothesis words. The experiment results show that the utterance verification rate of the proposed method is about 79.5%.

소비자대응행동에 대한 비용이익 인식 유형과 관련요인 -학원교육서비스를 중심으로- (A Study on the Types of Awareness of Cost and Benefit Consumer Complaining Behavior and Its Related Factors - focused on the Educational Services of Private Institutes -)

  • The objectives of this study were to investigate how the types of awareness of cost and benefit of consumer complaining behavior about the private educational institute services were classified, how different demographic and consumer complaining rebated characteristics were according to the types of awareness of cost and benefit about consumer complaining behavior, and what were the determinant factors of the types of awareness of cost and benefit about consumer complaining behavior. The survey of this study was conducted by means of self-administered questionnaire with 546 university students living in Seoul and Cheongjoo. They had an experience of studying in the private educational institute in recent two years. Major findings were as following: (1) The types of awareness of cost and benefit of consumer complaining behavior about the private educational institute services were classified into four - awareness of high cost and low benefit, high cost and high benefit, low cost and medium benefit, medium cost and medium benefit. (2) The attitude about complaints, the confidence of success about complaint, and the knowledge about complaints were different significantly according to the types of awareness of cost and benefit about consumer complaining behavior. (3) The types of awareness of cost and benefit about consumer complaining behavior were different significantly according to only a school year among demographic characteristics. (4) The determinant factors of the types of awareness of cost and benefit about consumer complaining behavior were the attitude about complaints, the confidence of success about complaints, the knowledge about complaints, and the major field of study.

신생아 돌보기 교육 프로그램이 초산모의 신생아 돌보기 지식, 자신감, 행동 정확도에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of Education Program on Primiparas로 Knowledge, Confidence and Accuracy of Behavior in Newborn Care)

  • This study was to find whether the educational program contributed to the increase of knowledge, confidence, and accuracy of behavior in newborn care of the primiparas. The educational program consistes of individual lectures, demostrations, discussion, and practice of newborn care. Also two telephone counseling with the subjects after they are discharged from hospital. This study is a quasi-experimental design using non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design. Data collection was done from July 21 to Oct 4 in 1997. The subjects were selected from 2 general hospitals and 1 university hosipital in C city, Subjects were 44 primiparas(control group 22, experimental group 22). they were tested on knowledge, confidence, and accuracy of behavior in newborn care. A pretest was done 2-3 days after vaginal delivary(5-6 days after c-sec delivary). A posttest was done 21-28 day(vaginal delivary, c-sec delivary) after delivary. The instruments used for this study were knowledge scale about newbon care developed by the reserarcher, Pharis' confidence scale modified by the researcher and accuracy of behavior scale developed by the reserarcher. Primiparas' knowledge and confidence was tested by questionnaire and Primiparas' accuracy of behavior was tested by structured observational method. Analysis of data was done by using of χ²- test, t -test, paired t -test. The results of this study are summarized as follows : 1) Knowledge of the experimental group was significant higher than the control group(t=-4.94, P=.000). 2) Confidence of the experimental group was significant higher than the control group(t=-.262, P=.012). 3) Accuracy of behavior of the experimental group was significant higher than the control group (t=-.969, P=.000). In conclusion, the newborn care education along with intensive telephon counseling shows a significant promotion of newbon care in primiparas. Thus this program can be recommended as an intervention model for the newborn and primiparas.

성문(聲紋)분석법에 의한 사상체질 진단의 객관화 연구(I) (An objective study of sasang constitution diagnosis by sound analysis)

  • Proceeding an objective Study of sasang constitution diagnosis by Sound Analysis which uses Computed Sound lab(CSL), we verified the confidence level of Questionnaire of Sasang Constitution classification II(QSCC II) and the first results of Sound Analysis for verifying correlation between the physical character and Sound character are as follows. 1. The confidence level of QSCC II is 70.8% to Soeumin, 60.8% to Soyangin, 74.5% to Taeumin, and 70.08% in total. But, the actual results of verifying the confidence level after making 100 persons an object of study, are that the confidence level of that is 55.10% to Soeumin, 30.77% to Soyangin, 80.00% to Taeumin, and 55.29% in total. So it doesn't coincide with the confidence lecel of QSCC II 70.8%. 2. The results of verifying the confidence level about other 134 persons after enough explanation before the constitutional diagnosis by QSCC II are that the confidence of that is 71.08 to Soeumin, 54.76% to Soyangin 81.82% to Taeumin, and 69.22% in total. 3. The results of verifying the correlation between B.M.I. and Sasang Costitution are that there are significant differences below P<0.001 between Taeumin and Soeumin, and between Taeumin and Soyangin. 4. Height and Weight influence on a fundamental frequency and formant frequency. 5. There are differences for every constitutions in a amplitude when we nave a Sound analysis. As aboves, it is considered that we can find the differences among the constitutional groups, if we have a Sound analysis of the constitutional Sound characters.

인지갈등 유발 수업에서 오개념에 대한 확신도가 개념변화에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Students' Confidence of Misconception upon the Conceptual Change in a Conflict Arousing Instruction)

  • 학생들은 나름대로 자연 현상에 대하여 자신의 인지구조를 가지고 이해하고 있으나 개념에 대한 확신정도는 학생에 따라 다르다. 자신이 갖고 있는 개념에 대하여 뚜렷한 자신감이 있는 학생이 있는가 하면 자신의 개념에 대하여 확신을 못하는 경우가 있다. 이 연구에서는 오개념에 대한 확신도가 높고 낮음에 따라 갈등 효과는 어떠하며, 사후 개념변화는 어떠한지를 알아보고자 하였다. 대부분의 오개념을 가졌던 학생들은 현상 제시에 많은 호기심을 보였으며, 오개념의 확신도가 클수록 갈등을 더 많이 느껴 자신의 생각과 다른 현상을 보았을 때 심리적 충격이 더 크게 변하는 것으로 나타냈다. 그러나 일부 개념에서는 갈등을 많이 겪었다고 응답하였지만 개념변화가 되지 않는 학생들의 비율이 높아 오개념의 견고함을 보여주기도 하였다. 인지 갈등 수업 후 개념의 변화는 선개념에 대한 확신도에 관계없이 잘 일어났으며, 개념변화 지속 효과 또한 확신도에 관계없이 선행 연구자들의 결과와 비슷하게 나왔다. 즉, 현상 제시 직후부터 일주일 후 까지는 감소하나 그 뒤로는 개념이 자리잡았다. 개념 변화 후 바른 개념에 대한 확신도는 대체로 높아서 오개념을 가진 학생에게 과학개념을 심어주기 위한 방편으로 인지갈등 수업이 효과 있음을 보여주었다.

성별에 따른 일·생활 균형 인식수준 차이와 일·생활 균형이 부모 자신감에 미치는 영향 (Gender difference of Work-life Balance and the effect of Work-life Balance on Parenting Confidence)

  • 본 연구는 일·생활 균형문화 확산 및 맞벌이 부부의 증가 등으로 변화된 성별에 따른 일·생활 균형 인식수준 차이분석과 일·생활 균형이 부모 자신감에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 더불어 일·생활 균형이 부모 자신감에 미치는 영향관계에서 경력관리의 조절효과를 살펴보고자 하였다. SPSS 18.0 통계패키지 프로그램을 이용하여 t-검정, 단순선형회귀분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 일·생활 균형, 부모 자신감, 경력관리의 구조적 관계를 규명하였다. 실증분석에는 총505개의 데이터를 활용하였으며, 결과를 요약하면 첫째, 성별에 따른 일·생활 균형 인식수준에 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났으며, 둘째, 일·생활 균형이 부모 자신감에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 일·생활 균형이 부모자신감에 미치는 영향관계에서 조직차원의 경력관리가 조절역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 기혼여성인력 활용 및 일·생활 균형지원을 위한 기업의 노력 등에 관한 실용적 시사점 등을 제안했다.

The Effects of Simulation Based Practical Education on Nursing Students' Self-efficacy, Performance Confidence, and Educational Satisfaction

  • Objective: This study is a single-group pre-post experimental study to determine the effects of simulation-based practice education on nursing students' self-efficacy, performance confidence, and educational satisfaction. Design: Single-group pre-post experimental studies Methods: This study was conducted from September 1, 2023 to November 30, 2023 for nursing undergraduate students in a simulation based practical education program. The subjects were provided with learning materials about an acute myocardial infarction case with chest pain for preliminary learning. After that, they were divided into teams of 6 people and asked to do self-study for 2 hours per team, twice a week, before conducting simulation practice. For the simulation based practical education, the participants were divided into 9 teams of 6 people each, and each team had 10 minutes for orientation, 15 minutes for scenario operation, and 50 minutes for debriefing. Results: After the simulation based practical education, self-efficacy increased statistically significantly from a mean of 3.51 before training to a mean of 3.80 after training (t=-2.12, p=0.038). However, there was no significant difference in performance confidence. There was a significant positive correlation between self-efficacy and performance confidence (r=0.62, p<0.001) and training satisfaction (r=0.67, p<0.001) after the simulation based practical education. Self-confidence was also significantly correlated with educational satisfaction (r=0.76, p<0.001). Conclusions: The results of this study showed that utilizing simulation-based practical education can increase nursing students' self-efficacy, which positively affects their performance confidence and educational satisfaction. Therefore, simulation-based practical education is an effective nursing education method that can improve nursing students' practical skills.
