Two-wheeler Detection using the Local Uniform Projection Vector based on Curvature Feature (이진 단일 패턴과 곡률의 투영벡터를 이용한 이륜차 검출)

  • Recent research has been devoted and focused on detecting pedestrian and vehicle in intelligent vehicles except for the vulnerable road user(VRUS). In this paper suggest a new projection method which has robustness for rotation invariant and reducing dimensionality for each cell from original image to detect two-wheeler. We applied new weighting values which are calculated by maximum curvature containing very important object shape features and uniform local binary pattern to remove the noise. This paper considered the Adaboost algorithm to make a strong classification from weak classification. Experiment results show that the new approach gives higher detection accuracy than of the conventional method.

  • This paper describes an implementation of a wide-range dimming controller of a LED backlight for Avionics applications such as the control data unit(CDU) and multi-function display(MFD). A feedback controller using a light sensor is proposed to control the brightness in the low dimming range. The proposed controller provides an improved control performance in the wide dimming range of 1:3000 even under the temperature variations. The experimental results are provided to show the effectiveness of the proposed control system.

Projected Local Binary Pattern based Two-Wheelers Detection using Adaboost Algorithm

  • We propose a bicycle detection system riding on people based on modified projected local binary pattern(PLBP) for vision based intelligent vehicles. Projection method has robustness for rotation invariant and reducing dimensionality for original image. The features of Local binary pattern(LBP) are fast to compute and simple to implement for object recognition and texture classification area. Moreover, We use uniform pattern to remove the noise. This paper suggests that modified LBP method and projection vector having different weighting values according to the local shape and area in the image. Also our system maintains the simplicity of evaluation of traditional formulation while being more discriminative. Our experimental results show that a bicycle and motorcycle riding on people detection system based on proposed PLBP features achieve higher detection accuracy rate than traditional features.

  • For the phase measurement in the radar system using the magnetron pulse source, the STALO (Stable Local Oscillator) frequency need to be controlled to provide the stable intermediate frequency. In radar receiver, AFC(Automatic Frequency Control) circuit detects the transmitting frequency change and controls the STALO frequency to keep the intermediate frequency stable. In this paper, we designed and implimented AFC circuits for radar receiver. The frequency deviation is detected and compared with the reference frequency and the STALO frequency is controlled by the digital command signal.

New approach to two wheelers detection using Cell Comparison

  • This article describes a two wheelers detection system riding on people based on modified histogram of oriented gradients (HOG) for vision based intelligent vehicles. These features used correlation coefficient parameter are able to classify variable and complicated shapes of a two wheelers according to different viewpoints as well as human appearance. Also our system maintains the simplicity of evaluation of traditional formulation while being more discriminative. In this paper, we propose an evolutionary method trained part-based models to classify multiple view-based detection: frontal, rear and side view (within $60^{\circ}C$). Our experimental results show that a two wheelers riding on people detection system based on proposed approach leads to higher detection accuracy rate than traditional features.

  • 본 논문에서는 파라미터 불확실성이 유한한 로봇 매니퓰레이터에 대한 비선형 강인 제어기법을 제안한다. 파라미터의 불확실성을 보상하는 강인제어시 발생되는 정강 상태 오차를 개선시키기 위하여 오차 관련 함수에 추종오차의 적분항을 추가시키고 제어입력에 이 적분항이 포함되도록 한다. 설계된 제어시스템의 안정도는 Lyapunov 기법에 의하여 해석한다. 파라미터 불확실성을 가지는 로봇 매니퓰레이터에 대한 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 제안된 기법의 성능을 확인하고 5 링크 2 자 유도의 FARA 로봇에 대한 실험을 통하여 제안된 기법이 실용 로봇제어에 적용될 수 있음을 보이고자 한다.

  • In this paper, we design a robust controller for trajectory control of n-link robot manipulators with bounded parametric uncertainties. The proposed control scheme with integral control improves tracking error due to limit of the robust feedback gains and use of continuous control input for chattering rejection. The integral of the tracking error is augmented to the error system equation and the stability of the closed-loop system is achieved. The performance of the proposed method is demonstrated by simulation on a 2-link manipulator.

  • ASDR(Avionic System Development Rig) is used as a development tool during the design and development of the ASC/OFP and then can be used as a maintenance tool after developing them for a military aircraft. This paper describes the overall structure and the important features of KO-1 ASDR, especially about the dynamic simultion of inertial and air data sensors.

  • 항공전자 시스템 및 소프트웨어 기술의 복잡성이 증가함에 따라 소프트웨어의 신뢰성을 보장하는 방법으로 모델 기반 소프트웨어 개발의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 모델기반 소프트웨어 설계를 이용하여 항공기 콕핏 내 주요 계기를 통합한 MFD(Multi-function Display)를 설계하고, 실시간 비행 데이터를 생성하여 시뮬레이션한 결과를 보인다.

  • 멀티캐스트는 현재 일-대-일 통신서비스로 부터 일-대-다 또는 다-대-다 통신서비스에서 신뢰성을 요구하는 새로운 요구가 많아지고 있다. 그리고 최근 대두되고 있는 멀티미디어 응용을 지원하기 위해서는 광대역 네트워크의 링크, 실시간 전송, 보나 효과적인 멀티캐스트 프로토콜이 요구된다. 그러나 DVMRP, MOSPF, CBT, PIM 구조의 멀티캐스팅 프로토콜은 단지 송수신의 패킷의 경로비용으로 라우터 자체의 근거리 알고리즘이 적용되기 때문에 멀티캐스트가 수행될 때 통신의 전반적 사항인 통신처리능력, 대역폭, QoS(quality of service)대한 능력이 부족하다. 그러므로 멀티미디어에서 사용되는 패킷의 계층적 특성이 제외된 상태로 데이터가 전송되는 단점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 액티브 네트워크를 이용해서 카 데이터 패킷 전송을 위한 공정하고 실용적인 대역폭 사용하고 대역폭과 데이터처리능력을 액티브 전송 패킷을 통해서 액티브 라우터로 전송된 데이터를 필터링 해서 보나 효과적인 멀티미디어 데이터 패킷을 카 계층에 따라 다양한 수신자가 데이터 패킷을 전송 받고 액티브 라우터로부터 공정한 대역폭 전송할 수 있는 라우터를 시뮬레이션 상에서 구현하고 성능을 평가한다.
