Digital transformation is driving so many changes in daily life and industry. The automobile industry is in a similar situation. In some cases, element techniques in areas called metabuses are also being adopted, such as 3D animated digital cockpit, around view, and voice AI, etc. Through the growth of the mobile market, the norm of human-computer interaction (HCI) has been evolving from keyboard-mouse interaction to touch screen. The core area was the graphical user interface (GUI), and recently, the audio user interface (AUI) has partially replaced the GUI. Since it is easy to access and intuitive to the user, it is quickly becoming a common area of the in-vehicle experience (IVE), especially. The benefits of a AUI are freeing the driver's eyes and hands, using fewer screens, lower interaction costs, more emotional and personal, effective for people with low vision. Nevertheless, when and where to apply a GUI or AUI are actually different approaches because some information is easier to process as we see it. In other cases, there is potential that AUI is more suitable. This is a study on a proposal to actively apply a AUI in the near future based on the context of various scenes occurring to improve IVE.

AUI(Advanced User Interaction) interface aims to enhance interaction between various input/output devices and scene descriptions represented by video, audio, and graphic. Recently, MPEG-U part 2 standardization for the AUI interface is under development by MPEG(moving picture experts group). This paper introduces MPEG-U part 2 standard and presents MPEG-U part 2 AUI interface system. The AUI interface system consists of user interface in/output modules and MPEG-U XML generation/interpretation modules. The former and the latter are for UID data handling and XML data processing, respectively. This system MPEG-U standards-based input/output devices and to improve the interaction with the user can be used as a framework. By implementation of the proposed AUI interface system, MPEG-U usage scenario is introduced and it is verified that the AUI interface system conforms to MPEG-U standard.

Mobile device has a constraint such as a small physical display size and interaction. One of the most important issues in mobile devices is the express an identity of one's products company. It can be appeal to the user in side of consistency. Thus, we integrate and extract an identity element from user experience including, Graphical User Interface, Information Architecture and Audio User Interface. The study was conducted by a task force team with User Interface practitioners of managing divisions of each product. In this study, methods and processes that were attempted in order to establish consistency principles of user experiences, enhancing the various characteristics of each product, are described. The results and practical experiences obtained through the processes are introduced.
