ASP(Active Server Page) is adopted in searching optimal solution for VAR planning algorithm by FUZZY mathemathical programming. FUZZY theory is powerful tool dealing with the fuzziness of satisfaction levels of the constraints and the goal of objective funnctions. The effectivness of the proposed algorithm has been verifyed by the test on the IEEE-30 bus system.

In this paper, we developed the web content of statistical analysis using statistical package and Active Server Page (ASP). A statistical package is very difficult to learn and use for non-statisticians, however, non-statisticians want to do analyze the data without learning statistical packages such as SAS, S-plus, and R. Therefore, we developed the web based statistical analysis contents using S-plus which is the popular statistical package and ASP. In real application, we developed the web content for various statistical analyses such as exploratory data analysis, analysis of variance, and time series on the web using water quality data. The developed statistical analysis web content is very useful for non-statisticians such as public service person and researcher. Consequently, combining a web based contents with a statistical package, the users can access the site quickly and analyze data easily.

21세기 패러다임은 단연 인터넷과 전자상거래다. ASP는 비쥬얼 베이직의 언어체계를 인터넷에서 작동되도록 한 일종의 비쥬얼 베이직 스크립트라고 할 수 있다. 비쥬얼 베이직 스크립트는 클라이언트의 브라우져에서 실행되는 스크립트가 클라이언트 스크립트이고, 서버에서 실행하고 결과만을 클라이언트 브라우져에 출력해주는 스크립트가 서버 스크립트이다. ASP는 서버 스크립트에 속한다. 따라서 자바 스크립트같이 소스가 노출되지 않으면서 코드를 작성할 수 있다. 이러한 이유로 ASP는 인터넷 기술의 획을 그을 만한 변화를 가져왔고 보편화된 인터넷 기술로 자리잡았다.

Lots of the agricultural information come from human experiences and are in non-numerical forms. Therefore, it is difficult to process to be processed in a conventional data processing way. An internet expert system for agricultural application using the ASP(active server page) was developed to solve this problem and consisted of databases, an inference engine, and an user interface. The databases were composed of rule base, question base and link data. The inference engine was developed with the ASP for connection with web between databases. The used interface was developed with the CGI(common gateway interface), so that question could be answered on a web browser, and the session technique was used to provide proper result to each of multi-users. A prototype internet expert system was developed for diagnosis of diseases and nutritional disorders of paddy rice. The expert system was interactively worked through WWW(world wide web) at remote sites by multi-users, even at the same time. The rule base could be easily updated and modified from a web server computer by a knowledge engineer.

This study is to develop the web-based English learning courseware and improve the motivational attributes, with systematic methods called the ARCS model of Keller. There are four categories to the ARCS motivation model : Attention, Relevance, Confidence, Satisfaction. Applying these four components to web-based courseware strategically will enable learners to be taught English conversation more effectively and more systematically. In order to implement this study, the main web pages are made of ASP(Active Server Page). Personal Web Server is used as the web sever and Authorware is employed as a courseware authoring tool.

In recent years, Internet/Intranet represents the next generation of computing environment. Therefore, it is necessary to integrate WWW((World Wide Web) over internet/intranet and DBMS(Database Management System) in proportion to the increase of various users' request and an amount of data variety. Also, also full variety of service over WWW need to accomplish rapidly modification of bug and make a betterment of system according to a feature of rapid change of information and an importance of interaction with users. The typical CGI method commonly used to connect with database has a disadvantage in time and resources in system due to frequent connection with database. Therefore, this paper provides the conceptual structure and implementation of information management system over WWW with applying a recent information technology called ASP(Active Server Pages) that controls and arranges client logic dynamically in server-side and introducing a concept of working group and folder to database design.

A Web-based design automation system for concrete slab bridge has been developed to manage the resultant documents as well as to speed up the repetitive design process. Manipulation of engineering drawings in the Web page is one of the critical functions needed for Web-based design automation. Active Server Pages (ASP) is used to that collects design parameters in the database, and eXtensible Markup Language (XML) and XML-based vector graphics are expected to facilitate the representation of engineering drawings in the Web page. In this paper, we present how we used XML and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) to compose engineering drawings and represent them in the Web page. XML Data Island we designed to define drawing components turned out effective in manipulating the engineering drawings in the Web page.

In this research, it has been shown that how the computer can recognize and understand spoken natural language and its symbolization using VoiceXML and Grammar Specific Language in developing telephone based conversational automatic speech recognition flight information system. In order for user to hear correct information, ASP Module has been revised and its effectivities has been experimented on the Voice portal airplane information system platform.

In this paper, administration efficiency raising of Web-based factory monitoring system to do monitoring when everywhere integrating operation present condition current point of time of discrete factories in inside and outside of the country by purpose design and implemented. That is, do to normalize system structure and achievement function, and administration data of Web-based, and design using VML (Unified Modeling Language) and take advantage of ASP (Active Server Pages) and implemented web function. Implemented Web-based factory monitoring system is applying two factory (Kl, K2) of K CO., LTD. tire operation division to caravan, and application result was evaluated by very efficient thing to grasp operation situation of whole factory synthetically.
