Remembering a meaning of fashion started in the early 20C, Paul Poiret is one of the most important designer. If so, what does his achievements and assessment his costume design have to be？ That is the spirit of his design. Through the creation of the new style which is totally different from a period before, introduction of the vivid color, the new line and the enthusiasm of the fashion business, he showed the roll and the possibility of the modern designer. In Poiret's women's costume, harmonious beauty of women could be discovered in beautiful color which was not used in the 19th and elegance line. Furthermore, in the creation of the color and style, he got a strong influence by the art of early 20C's Europe. This was an opportunity that todays fashion has treated as a part of the or her art, and many modern designers are contacting with the art. The excellent ability in the fashion business has the composite as total fashion. Fashion business including perfumes, cosmetics furnitures, accessories is a model for most designers who follows him.

The production of antileukemic enzyme methionine ${\gamma}$-lyase (MGL) in distinctly related bacteria, Citrobacter freundii and in their recombinants expressing the Vitresocilla hemoglobin (VHb) has been studied. This study concerns the potential of Citrobacter freundii expressing the Vitreoscilla hemoglobin gene (vgb) for the methionine ${\gamma}$- liyase production. Methionine ${\gamma}$- liyase production by Citrobacter freundii and its $vgb^-$ and $vgb^+$ bearing recombinant strain was studied in shake-flasks under 200 rpm agitation, culture medium and $30^{\circ}C$ in a time-course manner. The $vgb^+$ and especially the carbon type had a dramatic effect on methionine ${\gamma}$- liyase production. The $vgb^+$ strain of C. freundii had about 2-fold and 3.1-fold higher levels of MGL than the host and $vgb^-$ strain, respectively.

The automatic recognition of transport containers using image processing is very hard because of the irregular size and position of identifiers, diverse colors of background and identifiers, and the impaired shapes of identifiers caused by container damages and the bent surface of container, etc. We proposed and evaluated the novel recognition algorithm of container identifiers that overcomes effectively the hardness and recognizes identifiers from container images captured in the various environments. The proposed algorithm, first, extracts the area including only all identifiers from container images by using CANNY masking and bi-directional histogram method. The extracted identifier area is binarized by the fuzzy binarization method newly proposed in this paper and by applying contour tracking method to the binarized area, container identifiers which are targets of recognition are extracted. We proposed and applied the ART2-based RBF network for recognition of container identifiers. The results of experiment for performance evaluation on the real container images showed that the proposed algorithm has more improved performance in the extraction and recognition of container identifiers than the previous algorithms.

최근 급증하고 있는 자살률과 청소년들의 학교폭력, 강력범죄 등은 심각한 사회적 문제가 되고 있다. 또한 컴퓨터의 보급으로 인한 인터넷 중독, 중년의 치매 등도 우리의 정신건강을 해치는 중요한 요인이다. 본 논문은 정신건강 간이선별도구를 활용하여 생활 스트레스로부터 발생되는 우울증과 인터넷 중독 등 정신건강을 헤치는 다양한 요인에 대한 대상자의 위험도를 파악하여 고(高)위험군에 해당되는 대상자의 1차 선별을 가능하게 하며, 정신건강진단에 대한 거부감을 줄이기 위한 놀이형태의 진단방법을 통하여 전문적인 치료로 유도하는 시스템을 구축하는 연구이다.

Hair styles which independently coexist by transcending the time and space under the environment of highly developed information and communication technology of recent years, were analyzed. Moreover the concerned trends of art which influenced on these styles were introduced in this study. Through IT based information exchange produced new hair styles which have the technological images. The characteristics of these hair styles are investigated also. For the examination of yearly trends, hair styles in fashion collections of Yves Saint Larent during 1962 to 1999 were examined and classified. The results show that time variated trends are appeared in this period. For the analysis of the trends of hair styles featuring technological images, hair styles in fashion collection of Christian Dior, Giorgio Armani, Gucci, Jean Paul Gaultier and Chanel in the early 2000s are quoted.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the variables of the state-of-the-art office planning for the productive workplaces of the North America and to predict the adaptability in Korea. Knowledge workers have been considered as the decisive factors for the survival and development of organizations. So, open workplaces have been considered appropriate for the workplace to stimulate their informal knowledge sharing. However, the low individual productivity due to low privacy and distraction in the open workplace has been the key problem. To solve the dilemma, this study suggests that closed individual offices are best for the individual productivity and open conference area and meeting places are essential for the informal knowledge sharing. Some state-of-the-art workplaces such as just-in-time offices and hotelings can provide more space for the individual workplaces and open meeting places without excessive cost burden of organizations.

Two utilitarian and symbolic objects associated with womanhood in Cambodian culture are the stove and the pot. The pot is a symbol of both the womb and female sexuality; the stove is a symbol of gendered feminine labor. This article argues that the sexist representations of the Khmer female body by modern Cambodian male artists demonstrate an inherited legacy of Orientalist stereotypes. These images were formed : under French colonialism and often depict Khmer women as erotic/exotic native Others. Starting in the 1970s, however, if not earlier, Cambodian women began to question the gendering of social roles that confined them to domestic space and labor. This form of social questioning was especially present in pop songs. In recent years, contemporary Cambodian woman artists such as Neak Sophal and Tith Kanitha have made use of rice pots and stoves in their art as freighted symbols of femininity. Neak created an installation of rice pots from different households in their village, while Tith rebelled against this gendered role by destroying cooking stoves as an act of defiance against patriarchy in her performance art.

The purpose of this study was to make hip-hop clear as a comprehensive cultural factor, and to analyze how it was reflected and shown in the modern fashion. The fashion influenced by hip-hop consisted of music(mcing), dance(b-boying), art(graffiti), technology(djing), and clothing(hip-hop style) was as follows; 1. Each music, dance, and art factor was expressed as multiethnic style, a oversized sportive style, and a graffiti look. 2. Oversized-Sportive style was the most peculiarity in Old School's hip-hop fashion. 3. Sportive style was changed into Multiethnic-Baggy style in New School's hip-hop fashion.

A homepage is composed of various components and the most crucial component is the interface. The objective of this paper is to present a proposal to help get a program for efficient website management and consumer satisfaction.

The concept of Total Quality Management may be perceived from different philosophical perspectives. In this paper we shall present a view on TQM from the perspective of Field-Being philosophy and compare it with the alternative philosophical views. From the perspective of Field-Being philosophy, the goal of TQM is to achieve the free flow of excellence at all levels: individual, team and organizational. By overcoming rigidity in thinking, behavior and performance TQM turns into an art-the Art of Quality Management, which is the source of true stakeholder delight.
