Purpose: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of art therapy to control fatigue in cancer patients during course of radiotherapy and its impact on quality of life (QoL). Materials and Methods: Fifty cancer patients receiving radiotherapy received weekly art therapy sessions using famous painting appreciation. Fatigue and QoL were assessed using the Brief Fatigue Inventory (BFI) Scale and the Functional Assessment of Chronic Illness Therapy-Fatigue (FACIT-F) at baseline before starting radiotherapy, every week for 4 weeks during radiotherapy, and at the end of radiotherapy. Mean changes of scores over time were analyzed using a generalized linear mixed model. Results: Of the 50 patients, 34 (68%) participated in 4 sessions of art therapy. Generalized linear mixed models testing for the effect of time on mean score changes showed no significant changes in scores from baseline for the BFI and FACIT-F. The mean BFI score and FACIT-F total score changed from 3.1 to 2.7 and from 110.7 to 109.2, respectively. Art therapy based on the appreciation of famous paintings led to increases in self-esteem by increasing self-realization and forming social relationships. Conclusion: Fatigue and QoL in cancer patients with art therapy do not deteriorate during a period of radiotherapy. Despite the single-arm small number of participants and pilot design, this study provides a strong initial demonstration that art therapy of appreciation for famous painting is worthy of further study for fatigue and QoL improvement. Further, it can play an important role in routine practice in cancer patients during radiotherapy.

Several methods which utilize the phase of Zernike moments (ZMs) to estimate the rotation angle have shown good performance in terms of accuracy. In this paper, we provides the performance comparison results of the existing rotation angle estimation methods based on ZMs and propose an extension of Revaud et al.'s method [1] which utilizes the phase of ZMs; the proposed method uses angular radial transform coefficients instead of ZMs and yields better performance than the ZMs based methods in terms of accuracy. A set of ART can describe angular variation of image more intensively than ZMs, it enables more accurate estimation of the rotation angle than ZMs. In the experiments, the proposed method outperforms ZMs based method. Comparisons were made in terms of the root mean square error vs. the coverage on MPEG-7 shape dataset.

이미지 인식 분야에 있어서 전지 결재시 도장의 진위 문제라 은행 업무 또는 중요 서류에 있어서 도장의 진위 문제를 해결할 수 있는 방법이 필요하게 되었다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 평활화 방법과 ART1 알고리즘을 이용한 도장 이미지 인식 방법을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 임계값을 이용하여 도장 이미지를 이진화하고 이진화된 이미지에서 최빈수 평활화 방법을 이용하여 잡음을 제거하고 도장 영역을 추출하여 정규화 하였다. 도장 인식은 인공 신경망의 자율 학습 방법인 ART1 알고리즘을 적용 하였다. 실험 결과, 제안된 도장 인식 방법이 도장의 진위 문제에 적용할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.

The effect of the passive anti-rolling tanks(ART) decreases when the roll period of the vessel does not match the designed oscillating period of the fluid in the tank. In order to improve the effect of the passive ART, the damping plates are installed in the lower duct of the ART to adjust the oscillating period of the fluid. The effects of the damping plates on the oscillating period of the fluid and the changes of the stabilizing moments are examined through the series of bench tests. Acryl model tank larger than 1m breadth is made to minimize the viscous effect of the tank and the stabilizing moments of the tank are measured for various roll angles. Using the obtained tank damping coefficient, RAO(Response Amplitude Operator) value in the resonance range is computed and the stabilizing effect of a ART has been estimated.

This paper presents adjustment of input order to improve clustering performance of ART1. We propose new method for On-line clustering which adjusts initial input data using buffer. We demonstrate the clustering performance of the proposed algorithm by testing it on Zoo data set from UCI and created artificial data set for simulation. Experimental results show that preposed method increases 7.8% of clustering performance than ART1 model on the average.

The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of integrated art therapy on the life meaning of new firefighters. The subjects of the study selected 108 newfirefighters to be hired as part of the new training center in South Gyeongsang Province. Out of 108 participants, consisting of 54 volunteers, conducted an integrated art therapy program once a week, 60 minutes each, and eight sessions. Research tools carried out pre - and post-inspection testing using a scale of meaning in life. For data analysis, t-test was conducted using SPSS 22.0 program.The study found that integrated art therapy using semantic therapy had statistically significant differences in meaning in life.The experimental group has made positive changes in its pursuit of meaning, finding meaning, and discovering meaning in life rather than in control groups. In other words, the new fire fighting public officials' ability to positively change in difficult situations, adapt to the environment, and overcome difficulties was improved. In particular, he showed changes such as realizing the importance of people and life, clarity of purpose and efforts to change himself. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully review the fire school program aimed at fostering firefighters with a balanced body.

This paper aims to propose fashion designs based on the application of art flower technique to translucent clothing material. For study method, firstly I looked into art flower applications occurred in modern trend since 2000 as well as theoretical research on art flower and transparency expressed as artificial beauty. Second, I attempt to express transparency in a variety of unique ways by using the art flower technique in producing clothes. Third, I utilized transparent flower with translucent clothing material and tried to suggest fashion design attempting mixture of new materials. As a result, firstly transparent image and material are well fitted in with modern trend and especially it was very suitable for expressing feminine beauty. Second, transparency was the element to suggest creative formative world in fashion design in regard to flower's beauty, various shapes and colors and to provide infinite materials as design motive. Third, the combination of knit clothing and plastic art flower displayed a new form of material combination. Especially as translucent material is fitted with trend such as function, lightness and variableness in modern times of the $21^{st}$ century, it presents beautiful combination with transparent flower. Fourth, Silk flower technique is variously used in art flower techniques. Various possibility ranges are presented such as flower was recreated with artificial image by silk flower technique to be newly expressed and various materials like aesthete film can be also expressed with silk flower technique.

Sonia Delaunay(1885$\~$1979) was one of great pioneers of abstract art, who looked at clothes and fabrics with a plastics eyes. In Association with her husband Robert Delaunay, they were instrumental in founding the movement of Orphism, she proceeded to mix strong and bright colors into her art and had a brilliant influence on the decoration and women's fashion of the 1920's. Having a strong sense for dramatic and decorative color derived in part from childhood remembrances of Russian folk art she initiated a total revolution in which she created her first simultaneous dress with multi-colored samples of materials. She extended the principle of color's simultaneity to the field of fashion, fabric design and applied art. She was interested in the dress for ballet and opera. Fashion designer Paul Poiret asked her to design the fabrics and she created the geometric and abstract patterns with her strong color. It seemed that her design was revolutionary and avant-garde. Always she desired not only art of seeing but also art of living. The purpose of this study is to recognize the influence she had upon the history of modern fashion and fabric design. It was remarked that her paintings served as a basis for later developments in Kinetics Art and had influences on 1980' s abstract patterns for silk dress. Finally, the concept 'simultaneity' of her art signifies endless rhythmes in space and time.

퍼지 ART 알고리즘에서 경계 변수는 패턴들을 클러스터링하는데 있어서 반지름 값이 되며 임의의 패턴과 저장된 패턴과의 불일치(mismatch) 허용도를 결정한다. 이 경계 변수가 크면 입력 벡터와 기대 벡터 사이에 약간의 차이가 있어도 새로운 카테고리(category)로 분류하게 된다. 반대로 경계 변수가 작으면 입력 벡터와 기대 벡터 사이에 많은 차이가 있더라도 유사성이 인정되어 입력 벡터들을 대략적으로 분류한다. 따라서 영상 인식에 적용하기 위해서는 경험적으로 경계 변수를 설정해야 단점이 있다. 그리고 연결 가중치를 조정하는 과정에서 학습률의 설정에 따라 저장된 패턴들의 정보들이 손실되는 경우가 발생하여 인식율을 저하시킨다. 본 논문에서는 퍼지 ART 알고리즘의 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 퍼지 논리 접속 연산자를 이용하여 경계 변수를 동적으로 조정하고 저장 패턴들과 학습 패턴간의 실제적인 왜곡 정도를 충분히 고려하여 승자 노드로 선택된 빈도수를 학습률로 설정하여 가중치 조정에 적용한 개선된 퍼지 ART 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 방법의 성능을 확인하기 위해서 실제 영문 명함에서 추출한 영문자들을 대상으로 실험한 결과, 기존의 ART1과 ART2 알고리즘이나 퍼지 ART 알고리즘보다 클러스터의 수가 적게 생성되었고 인식 성능도 기존의 방법들보다 우수한 성능이 있음을 확인하였다.
