One of the distinctive characteristics of industrial engineering (IE) is its multidisciplinarity. This paper explores the multidisciplinary nature of IE using journal citation network analysis. Using the relatedness indexes of IE journals obtained from journal citation report (JCR), we firstly construct the IE network only composed of 26 IE journals. The resulting IE network is partitioned into three sub-networks: management engineering, manufacturing/quality, and ergonomics. We then propose the IE convergence network which includes 81 related journals in other disciplines as well as 26 IE journals. Scrutinizing the IE convergence network reveals that IE has a high degree of interactions with seven disciplines : Operations Research and Management Science, Statistics and Probability, Manufacturing Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Design, Business Management, Human Factors and Ergonomics. We investigate the contributions of the related disciplines to IE as well as contributions of IE to the related disciplines. The role of IE journals in exchanging knowledge with related disciplines is also identified by brokerage analysis. It is shown that visualizing and analyzing the IE convergence network can provide an excellent overview of the multidisciplinary structure of IE, which can help IE researchers easily grasp the state-of-the art of IE research.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of protease in kiwi fruit powder after freeze drying which has the ratio of 0%, 1%, 2%, and 3% on the tenderization of the bovine longissimus dorsi muscle. Beef loin chunks were marinated in distilled water (Control), 1% kiwi powder (K1), 2% kiwi powder (K2), and 3% kiwi powder (K3). As a result, the enzyme activities have shown to have higher activity (p<0.001) as the amount of freeze-dried kiwi powder increased. There are significant difference in pH (p<0.01), color of the beef were slightly different between the C (control) group and the sample groups. The cooking loss showed the highest value of K3 (p<0.001), and water holding capacity showed the highest value of K3. Furthermore, the sample groups exhibited lower shear force values compared with the control (p<0.001).

The study studied dermal protection and crease improvement from the sunlight of the lipid extract and narinjin. Sunlight was investigated in HR-1 (motherless mice) to identify changes in epithelial thickness and changes in collagen fibers, which account for around 90% of dermis, as the inhibitory efficacy of collagenase dissolving collagen also plays an important role in wrinkles. The experiment was validated using narinjin and jisil extract. First: The components of jisil and narinjin were analyzed. Second, antioxidant capabilities were confirmed with DPPH. Third: The inhibitory activity of collagen was measured. Studies have shown that the skin's upper skin thickness suppression of dermal extracts and narinzine has increased and that collagen thicknesses and wrinkles have decreased significantly compared to controls.

This study aims at analyzing the web sites for 2020 art college graduation exhibitions to derive implications that should be considered for future online exhibitions. Fifteen web sites for graduation exhibitions of domestic visual design majors will be selected to analyze the usability of the web sites in the stages of arrival-search-appreciation-communication. The spread of online exhibitions accelerated by the coronavirus pandemic presents issues that were not covered in offline exhibitions. Based on the commonalities and peculiarities of graduation exhibitions by college, implications for mature and rational graduation exhibitions will be suggested.

This study investigates the exercise-physiological changes in stages through the movement of the automatic stepper and to analyze the usefulness of the automatic stepper. For 18 male university students, out of 10 levels, 5 level and 10 level of automatic stepper exercise were performed. At each 10, 20, 30 minutes during exercise, 5 and 10 minutes after exercise stop the subjects were examined to analyze the changes in energy consumption after minutes, respiratory exchange rate, heart rate, oxygen consumption per body weight, METs, cumulative energy consumption, and lactic acid to verify the usefulness of the automatic stepper. The mean and standard deviation were calculated using the SPSS, and one-way ANOVA with repeated measure was performed to verify the difference in the mean between time periods. The LSD method was used for the post-hoc test, and the significance level was set to α = .05. There were no significant changes in both 5 and 10 level, but the cumulative energy consumption over time increased significantly. In addition, as a low-intensity exercise intensity is shown, a low increase in lactic acid indicated a safe exercise level. In future studies, in-depth studies of various variables through regular exercise programs are needed for those who need safe exercise.

Purpose - The current study conducted research on influential relationship of Korea's selected attributes of home replacement foods (HMR) with trust, customer satisfaction, and repurchase intention. Design, data, and methodology - This study was conducted on consumers in Seoul and the metropolitan area (Gyeonggi and Incheon) who have purchased home replacement foods (HMR). The survey was conducted for 30 days from March 1^st, 2021 to March 30^th, 2021. Among total of 300 surveys distributed, 250 surveys were collected, and 199 surveys, excluding ones with missing value and outliers (51 surveys), were used for analysis. Results - The results empirical analysis based on earlier studies are as follows. First, as a result of analyzing which variables of selection attribute factors of home replacement food (HMR) have an effect on trust, healthiness, reasonable price, and convenience had a positive effect, and quality of food and diversity did not have a significant effect. Second, as a result of analyzing whether trust has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, it was found that it had a positive effect on customer satisfaction. Third, as a result of analyzing whether trust has a significant effect on repurchase intention, it was found to have a positive effect. Fourth, as a result of analyzing whether customer satisfaction has a significant effect on repurchase intention, it was found that customer satisfaction had a positive effect. Conclusions - The current study aims to develop various new products of HMR and establish differentiated marketing techniques tailored to consumer needs.

Recently, as the importance of eco-friendly energy has increased hydrogen gas is in the spotlight as future energy. Due to its special properties, hydrogen gas is more difficult to detect requiring more precise sensing technology. The primary objective of this study is to design a concept of an underground hydrogen pipeline monitoring system. For this, the following research works are conducted sequentially; 1)selection of core technology for conceptual design, 2)state-of-the-art review, 3)design of a concept of the system. As a result, DAS(Distributed Acoustic Sensing), and DTS(Distributed Temperature Sensing) are selected as each core technology. Furthermore, a conceptual design of an underground hydrogen pipeline monitoring system is deducted. It is expected that the impact on the eco-friendly energy industry will be enormous due to the increasing interest in using hydrogen energy.

Human-object interaction(HOI) detection requires both object detection and interaction recognition, and requires a large amount of data to learn a detection model. Current opened dataset is insufficient in scale for training model enough. In this paper, we propose an easy and effective data augmentation method called Simple Quattro Augmentation(SQA) and Random Quattro Augmentation(RQA) for human-object interaction detection. We show that our proposed method can be easily integrated into State-of-the-Art HOI detection models with HICO-DET dataset.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the method of calculating the usage fee, rent, and lease rights of public goods necessary for the operation and management of the underground shopping mall, and to suggest systematic improvement points for the operation of the underground shopping mall. Data and Methodology: First, ordinances and regulations related to common property were investigated. Second, previous studies were analyzed. A survey was conducted with five questions that conflict with the interests of underground shopping mall merchants among the ordinances and operating systems related to the current underground shopping malls' common property. Results: Underpass merchants wanted monthly payment for the use of common property, and merchant organizations wanted to limit the increase rate with the right to use. They asked for the property value due to donation to be excluded from the loan fee, they wanted to revise the Common Property Act on the transfer of lease rights, and they wanted to revise the loan contract renewal period. Conclusion: There is a need to improve the laws and systems for underground shopping malls, and it will have to be negotiated according to the opinions of the merchants gathered among them, and it will have to be implemented in stages in the long term.

The first phase of architecture design is the field survey of the site and its surroundings. To gather the information there are two methods :the traditional method of an onsite survey, and recently using 3D geometry data and high quality image mapping from online services such as Google Earth. However, the urban condition is fast changing, and information from online services may lack sufficient information. This paper presents the to fast and effective site survey method for urban site using an affordable and fully automated UAV for the architectural design field.
