시뮬레이션 기법을 활용한 울산항의 적정 예선 척수 분석 (Analysing Optimum Tugboat Capacity in Ulsan Port by Simulation Technique)

  • 선박의 안전한 접·이안을 담당하는 예선은 항만의 안전하고 효율적인 운영을 위한 여러 요소들 중 무엇보다 중요한 사항이라고 할 수 있다. 그러나 항만의 특징에 따라 보유해야 하는 적정 예선 척수 및 규모에 대한 연구가 부족한 상황이고, 이로 인하여 관계자 간 분쟁이 자주 발생하고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 울산항을 중심으로 시뮬레이션 기법을 사용하여 예선의 적정 척수 및 예선 마력 비율을 제시하였다. 먼저, 시뮬레이션 구축을 위한 첫 번째 과정으로 항만 입·출항 및 예선 운영 시스템을 설계하였다. 다음으로, 모델링 시 정의한 입력 변수는 울산항의 2019년 선박 입·출항 데이터를 조사하여 도출하였으며, ARENA 소프트웨어에 입력 가능한 형태로 표준화하였다. 그리고 선박의 입·출항 프로세스를 설계하고, 이를 ARENA 모델로 구현하였다. 마지막으로 6가지의 시나리오에 대한 시뮬레이션 수행 결과, 울산항의 예선 척수를 42척으로 조정할 경우 효과적인 예선 운영이 가능한 것으로 도출되었다.

  • Designing communication architecture for substation automation is a challenging and subtle task for visualizing substations in the digital world under the umbrella of IEC61850. Communication paradigms for substation automation are of critical importance because of two reasons; the communication arena is changing daily and opts for convenience and simple deployment at a lower migration cost and interoperability is one of the core constrains of IEC61850 for substation automation. This paper presents an analysis and outline of the crucial need for the deployment of Gigabit Ethernet in substations and also presents suggestions on how Ethernet technology can help in substation automation. Ethernet is one of the most pervasive communication technologies available and can provide a long term solution in the changing arena of communication. We have performed simulations in NS-2 to prove that our suggested communication paradigm is optimal in various regards with consideration of the constraints imposed by IEC61850.

THE STUDY OF OPTIMAL BUFFER ALLOCATION IN FMS USING GENETIC ALGORITHM AND SIMULATION

  • In this paper, we present a new heuristic algorithm fur buffer allocation in FMS (Flexible Manufacturing System). It is conducted by using a genetic algorithm and simulation. First, we model the system by using a simulation software, \"Arena\". Then, we apply a genetic algorithm to achieve an optimal solution. VBA blocks, which are kinds of add-in functions in Arena, are used to connect Arena with the genetic algorithm. The system being modeled has seven workstations, one loading/unloading station, and three AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicle). Also it contains three products, which each have their own machining order and processing times. We experimented with two kinds of buffer allocation problems with a proposed heuristic algorithm, and we will suggest a simple heuristic approach based on processing times and workloads to validate our proposed algorithm. The first experiment is to find a buffer profile to achieve the maximum throughput using a finite number of buffers. The second experiment is to find the minimum number of buffers to achieve the desired throughput. End of this paper, we compare the result of a proposed algorithm with the result of a simple buffer allocation heuristic based on processing times and workloads. We show that the proposed algorithm increase the throughput by 7.2%.t by 7.2%.

  • The technology of manufacturing freeform molds with S-LOM based 3D printer has advantages in the production period and the curvature range. However, there is no any support tool about productivity analysis of S-LOM technology because S-LOM technology is early-stage technology. There can be problems about increase of construction time and cost without any decision support tool like productivity analysis models etc. Therefore, in this study, the productivity analysis simulation model for freeform formwork based on S-LOM technology was developed using ARENA software. The process and logic of manufacturing freeform molds can be easily visualized in this model. Futhermore, the resource like labor, equipment and material can be easily optimized with this model. As a result, it can contribute to preventing the increase of construction time and cost in formwork with further productivity analysis.

  • The purposes of this research are to modelize test system of SM TESTING by ARENA, software, input several items of specimen's testing process, resources of system and transfer loop, etc, give a hypothesis and then, obtain results reducing the efficiency of the whole system finally by overload of specific facilities in the testing system through the simulation so as to obtain several materials such as specimen and testing facility, transfer loop, etc. by simple and various forms without any necessity of numerical modelization. It will add facilities of over load and reduce facilities with low operation rate, so increase the efficiency of the system.

  • Software reliability in the software development process is an important issue. In infinite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process software reliability models, the failure occurrence rates per fault. can be presented constant, monotonic increasing or monotonic decreasing pattern. In this paper, the reliability software cost model considering decreasing intensity function was studied in the software product testing process. The decreasing intensity function that can be widely used in the field of reliability using power law process, log-linear processes and Musal-Okumoto process were studied and the parameter estimation method was used for maximum likelihood estimation. In this paper, from the software model analysis, we was compared by applying a software failure interval failure data considering the decreasing intensity function The decreasing intensity function model is also efficient in terms of reliability in the arena of the conservative model can be used as an alternating model can be established. From this paper, the software developers have to consider life distribution by preceding information of the software to classify failure modes which can be gifted to support.

지수 형 수명분포를 따르는 소프트웨어 신뢰모형 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Software Reliability Model Analysis Following Exponential Type Life Distribution)

  • In this paper, I was applied the life distribution following linear failure rate distribution, Lindley distribution and Burr-Hatke exponential distribution extensively used in the arena of software reliability and were associated the reliability possessions of the software using the nonhomogeneous Poisson process with finite failure. Furthermore, the average value functions of the life distribution are non-increasing form. Case of the linear failure rate distribution (exponential distribution) than other models, the smaller the estimated value estimation error in comparison with the true value. In terms of accuracy, since Burr-Hatke exponential distribution and exponential distribution model in the linear failure rate distribution have small mean square error values, Burr-Hatke exponential distribution and exponential distribution models were stared as the well-organized model. Also, the linear failure rate distribution (exponential distribution) and Burr-Hatke exponential distribution model, which can be viewed as an effectual model in terms of goodness-of-fit because the larger assessed value of the coefficient of determination than other models. Through this study, software workers can use the design of mean square error, mean value function as a elementary recommendation for discovering software failures.

  • Simulation modeling has become an extremely important approach to analyzing complex system. In recent years the number of people using simulation as problem-solving aid has increased. In this Paper, we developed a simulation model for analyzing the physical distribution system in ports. We used Arena 2.2 which is a kind of simulation software based common simulation language, SIMAN V. And then, we applied this model to kwangyang port(partially) and analyzed the effect of it upon port system in according to change of the quantity of goods transported.

모듈러 공법 기반 강교 공급사슬 관리를 위한 시뮬레이션 모형 개발 (Development of a Simulation Model for Supply Chain Management of Modular Construction based Steel Bridge)

  • 본 연구에서는 모듈러 공법 기반 강교 건설공사에 대해 공급사슬 관리를 위한 시뮬레이션 모형을 개발한다. 이를 위해, 우선 강교 건설에 대한 공장 제작/현장 시공 체계 자료를 수집한 후, 이를 바탕으로 공급사슬, 개체, 자원, 공정 등을 정의하였다. 이후, Arena 소프트웨어를 이용하여 데이터, 플로차트, 애니메이션 모듈을 작성함으로써 강교 공급사슬 시뮬레이션 모형을 개발하였다. 마지막으로, 개발된 모형의 논리성 검증과 유효성 확인을 위한 애니메이션 검증, 극한 조건 검증, 평균값 확인, 리틀의 법칙 확인, 사례 실적값 확인 등의 방법론을 이용하여 모형의 타당성을 검토하였다. 검토 결과, 개발된 시뮬레이션 모형은 논리적 오류 없이 강교 공급사슬의 공정과 특성을 적합하게 표현하며, 분석 대상 공급사슬에 대한 정확한 성능평가척도 예측치를 제공하였다. 향후, 본 연구에서 개발된 시뮬레이션 모형은 강교 공급사슬 체계를 최적으로 운영하기 위한 관리기법을 개발함에 있어 성능 평가 플랫폼으로서의 역할을 충실히 수행할 수 있을 것이다.

컨테이너 터미널의 효율적인 듀얼 사이클을 위한 야드 운영 (Efficient Yard Operation for the Dual Cycling in Container Terminal)

  • 최근 컨테이너 터미널의 관리자들은 안벽의 생산성을 높이기 위해서 양 적하를 동시에 할 수 있는 더블 사이클이나 듀얼 사이클을 시도하고 있다. 하지만 실제 터미널의 데이터를 이용하여 듀얼 사이클을 발생시켰을 경우 YT(Yard Tractor) 배정 방법이나, QC(Quay Crane)의 작업의 속도, 야드의 수출컨테이너 위치 등에 따라 효율성이 저하될 수 있다. 특히 기존의 야드 운영방식으로는 듀얼 사이클이나 더블 사이클을 효율적으로 지원하기 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 실제 터미널에서 듀얼 사이클을 사용할 때 효율성을 더 높일 수 있는 터미널야드 운영방법을 제시한다. 모형은 시뮬레이션 분석 소프트웨어인 Arena를 이용하여 수립되었다.
