The Safety depressurization System(SDS) of KNGR prevents RCS from overpressurization by discharging high pressure and temperature coolant through the I-sparger into the IRWST during an accident. If IRWST water temperature rise locally, around the sparger, beyond $200_{\circ}$2000 F by the discharged coolant, unstable steam condensation can cause large pressure load on the IRWST wall. To investigate whether this condition can be avoided for the design basis event IOPOSRV(Inadvertent Opening of one Pilot Operated Safety Relief Valve), the flow and temperature distribution of water in the IRWST is calculated by using CFX 4.3 computational fluid dynamic code. According to the results, since pool water temperature does not exceeds temperature limit within 50 seconds after the opening of one POSRV, it can be assured that the integrity of IRWST wall is maintained.

This paper introduces the current nuclear experimental research activities in KAERI, the unique nuclear research institute in Korea, and the universities in Korea to solve and assess the issues which have been faced in the design of new reactors such as APR1400, SMART, GEN-IV reactors as well as fusion reactor. Also the experimental evaluations of safety for operating nuclear plants have been presented. The nuclear thermalhydraulic experiments performed in such organizations are classified the fundamental test, the separated effect test, and the integral effect test with ATLAS and SNUF. Introduction is deployed according to institutes. Finally, the future works and the direction of research voyage in the nuclear thermal-hydraulic field were suggested.

This study examines the possibility of early production of forage rape (cv. Akela and Velox) in the period of wintering. Bolting date was Feb. 2 to Feb. 9 in PE film house culture by non-heating and Mar. 3 to Mar. 12 in open field culture. And flowering date was Feb. 24 to Mar. 3 in PE film house culture by non-heating, so it was 30~50 days faster than the open field culture of Apr. 17 to Apr. 22. Fresh matter yield was 8, 356~4, 887 kg/10a in PE film house culture by non-heating, so it was 1, 431~1, 603 kg/10a yield increase than in the open field culture of 7, 253~7, 456 kg/10a Dry matter yield was 953~963 kg/10a in PE film house culture by non-heating, so it was 71~284 kg/10a yield increase than in the open field culture of 669~892 kg/10a.

The number of disabled person is increasing, and also the demand of welfare is increasing. In the developed country, the range of disabled person is broad, because the definition of disability is different among countries. On 10/Apr, 2007, the law to forbid discrimination against disabled person was announced and then it will be operated on 11/Apr, 2008, in Korea. It will need to evaluate conflict between this law and underwriting guideline. There is obvious difference between disabled and non-disabled on risk selection of medical and environmental aspect. More than 50% of disabilities are related to the diseases rather than accident. The role of underwriter is to evaluate the future risk of morbidity (admission and/or operation etc). The insurance company is required to make new product for disabled person and the underwriter has to examine the application of disabled without discrimination, and with respect for the disabled as a human right.

Amphibian and Reptilian fauna in Chuwangsan National Park was carried out both Apr. 28, 1994 - Apr. 30, 1994 and Aug. 4, 1994-Aug. 5, 1994. 7 species in 5 Families in Amphibia and 7 species in 3 Families in Reptilia were observed in this survey. Rana dyhowskii in Amphibia and Rhabdophis tigrinus tigrinus in Reptilia were revealed dominant species in Chuwangsan National Park. The results in this survey would be use to baseline data significantly after the project of construction works in Chuwangsan National Park.

Herpetofauna in Soraksan National Park was carried out both Apr. 27, Apr. 28, 1996 and Aug. 19, Aug. 20, 1996. 6 stecies of 4 Families in Amphibian and 2 species of 2 Families in Reptilian were observed in this survey. It was observed relatively poor biota to other National Park that caused to excessive visitor and impacts by divelopments. Onychodactylus fischeri which was revealed Specific Endangered Animal assigned by Minister of Environmemt distributed abundantly along the Chohangnyong. So Chohangnyong should be conserved by prolonging the Year of Natural Rest.
