TTA와 함께한 ICT 표준자문서비스 - 피제이팩토리, 이미지 파일 포맷 세계 표준 도전

  • (주)피제이팩토리는 이미지의 정보화 작업을 최소한의 움직임으로 가능하게 하는 UX(User eXperience)를 개발했으며 관련 특허를 보유하고 있다. '디테일(Detail)'은 그 특허를 통해 구현된 (주)피제이팩토리의 모바일기기 기반 카메라 앱 및 SNS 서비스다. 2016년 2월, 기업환경통합(EAI/E5B), 애플리케이션성능관리(APM) 및 보안 솔루션 개발 구축 전문업체인 모코엠시스로부터 5억여 원의 투자를 유치했다. 새로운 이미지 파일포맷을 개발하던 (주)피제이팩토리는 국제 표준화의 필요성을 알았으나, 구체적인 진행 방법과 전략을 구상하기에는 정보와 경험이 턱없이 부족했다. 이때 지인의 소개로 국제 표준화 작업 과정을 도울 기관으로 TTA를 추천받았다. TTA의 자문서비스를 통해 국제표준화기구인 ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC29에 국제 표준으로 제안할 구체적인 전략을 세우게 되었다.

Development of Web-based Network Diligence and Indolence Management System (웹 기반 네트워크 근태 관리 시스템 개발)

  • In recent diligence and indolence management systems, server and client are not separated and data are not convert into data base. Therefore these recent systems have several weaknesses such as data modification and management. In this paper, we propose a new Web-based Network Diligence and Indolence Management system (WNDIM) to solve the weakness and improve the system performance of recent system. The main features and contributions of the proposed system are as follows. First, server and client are separated, and all data are converted into data base, Second, with the construction of APM server the data modification and management are efficiently operated. Third, a political decision of the system is defined. Fourth, the system can efficiently support user-oriented services such as the collection of diligence and indolence data and the sum of off-duty days. From the implementation and performance evaluation of the proposed WNDIM, we can see the system can efficiently support the diligence and indolence management, currently we are using the proposed WNDIM system in the real filed.

Preparation of Porous Polyacrylonitrile Nanofibers Membrane for the MF Application (MF 적용을 위한 다공성 PAN 나노섬유막의 제조)

  • Polyancrylonitrile nanofiber membrane (PAM) was prepared by using the electrospinning method with a solution of polyacrylonitrile (PAN) in DMF. The pore-diameter of PAMs and the number of PAM's layer were controlled for the microfiltration (MF) application. In addition, in order to improve the water-flux, AN-PEGMA copolymers have been synthesized via free radical polymerization with poly (ethylene glycol) methyl ether methacrylate and azobisisobutylronitrile (AIBN), and then PAN/AN-PEGMA nanofiber membranes (PAM/APM) were prepared by electrospinning with a mixture of PAN (9 wt%) and AN-PEGMA (3 wt%) in DMF (88 wt%). The prepared membranes were investigated with FT-IR and E.D.S. It was confirmed through scanning electron microscope (SEM), porometer, and porosity analysis that the porous membrane with a uniform diameter (400~600 nm) and a uniform pore characteristics (0.5~0.4 ${\mu}m$) was prepared. For the MF application, water-flux measurements were investigated and then the result was shown that the water permeability value of PAM/APMs introduced AN-PEGMA copolymers was relatively higher than that of the PVdF commercial membrane. From these results, PAN nanofiber membranes prepared by electrospinning could be utilized as a MF membrane.

Comparative optimization of Be/Zr(BH4)4 and Be/Be(BH4)2 as 252Cf source shielding assemblies: Effect on landmine detection by neutron backscattering technique

  • Monte Carlo simulations were used to model a portable Neutron backscattering (NBT) sensor suitable for detecting plastic anti-personnel mines (APMs) buried in dry and moist soils. The model consists of a 100 MBq 252Cf source encapsulated in a neutron reflector/shield assembly and centered between two 3He detectors. Multi-parameter optimization was performed to investigate the efficiency of Be/Zr(BH4)4 and Be/Be(BH4)2 assemblies in terms of increasing the signal-to-background (S/B) ratio and reducing the total dose equivalent rate. The MCNP results showed that 2 cm Be/3 cm Zr(BH4)4 and 2 cm Be/3 cm Be(BH4)2 are the optimal configurations. However, due to portability requirements and abundance of Be, the 252Cf-2 cm Be/3 cm Be(BH4)2 NBT model was selected to scan the center of APM buried 3 cm deep in dry and moist soils. The selected NBT model has positively identified the APM with a S/B ratio of 886 for dry soils of 1 wt% hydrogen content and with S/B ratios of 615, 398, 86, and 12 for the moist soils containing 4, 6, 10, and 14 wt% hydrogen, respectively. The total dose equivalent rate reached 0.0031 mSv/h, suggesting a work load of 8 h/day for 806 days within the permissible annual dose limit of 20 mSv.

Preliminary Studies on the Role of ${\alpha}-Esterase$ Isozymes in Quantitative Traits of Two Multivoltine Silkworm (Bombyx mori L.) Races and their $F_1$ Hybrid

  • Heterosis was studied involving two multivoltine silkworm breeds viz, APM1 and SLKSPM through rearing and isozyme analysis. A positive significant heterotic effect was observed in fecundity, hatching % and survivability. The heterobeltiosis was observed only in fecundity and hatching %. Isozyme analysis of ${\alpha}-esterase$ showed variation in loci and allelic expression. The allele with heterozygosity $(Est-2^{12})$ was observed at the Est-2 locus in $F_1$ progeny. Est-3 was observed in $F_1$ progeny, whereas it was completely absent in both parental lines. The present study suggests that the markers ($Est-2^{12}$ and Est-3) targeted for introgression may be useful for the improvement of fecundity and survivability as the phenomenon of heterosis was observed only in $F_1$ progeny.

  • A PRT vehicle's control method is presented in this paper. In the asynchronous vehicle control system, vehicles follow their leading vehicles. Leading vehicles are defined differently among the different types of track. The main topic of this paper is to present a method to define the leading vehicle among different types of track and the calculation algorithm of the safety length the following vehicle must maintain. Simulation program is developed using the algorithm and the results of the test run are presented. An asynchronous PRT vehicle control algorithm was presented by Szillat in the paper "A low level PRT Microsimulation, Dissertation, University of Bristol, 2001". But it is different from the algorithm in this paper. In the algorithm proposed by Markus, vehicles in the merging track are controlled synchronously, and its safety distance between the leading and the following car is evaluated after the establishment of the complicated future time-location table instead of simple equations proposed in this paper.

A study of Design and Certification for Reduced Speed in Valve (밸브의 감속기 검증 및 설계에 관한 연구)

  • 본 논문에서는 유체기계에서 사용되고 있는 홀로제트밸브의 감속기에 대하여 APM S/W로 시뮬레이션(simulation) 하였다. 수압과 외부의 힘에 의해서 전달되는 베벨기어의 설계검증 및 재설계 관하여 시뮬레이션을 하였다. 도면의 재원을 변경시키지 않고 기어의 수명을 시뮬레이션한 결과 SM45C를 Martempering하여 사용할 시 기어의 수명이 짧아 적절치 못하였고 고주파열처리강, 질화열처리강을 사용할 경우 기어의 수명시간이 12,957-20,983시간 이였고 침탄강을 사용할 시 기어의 수명은 영구적이었고 소재의 경도가 우수할수록 더 많은 허용굽힘응력과 허용접촉응력을 받을 수 있다는 것을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 입증된다. 그리고 기어의 검증결과로 기어를 다시 설계할 경우 고주파나 질화강으로 하여 기어의 잇수가 1-3개만 늘어나고, 피치원의 지름이 4-12mm늘어나면 영구적으로 사용할 수 있고 침탄강을 사용할 시 치폭이 3mm줄어들고, 기어 잇수가 1-3개 줄어들고 피치원의 지름이 4-13mm 줄어들어 감속기를 경량화 시킬 수 있다는 것을 시뮬레이션을 통하여 입증되었다.

Multichannel Audio Reproduction Technology based on 10.2ch for UHDTV (UHDTV를 위한 10.2 채널 기반 다채널 오디오 재현 기술)

  • As broadcasting environments change rapidly to digital, user requirements for next-generation broadcasting service which surpass current HDTV service become bigger and bigger. The next-generation broadcasting service progress from 2D to 3D, from HD to UHD and from 5.1ch audio to more than 10ch audio for high quality realistic broadcasting service. In this paper, we propose 10.2ch based multichannel audio reproduction system for UHDTV. The 10.2ch-based audio reproduction system add two side loudspeakers to enhance the surround sound localization effect and add two height and one ceiling loudspeakers to enhance the elevation localization effect. To evaluate the proposed system, we used APM(Auditory Process Model) for objective localization test and conducted subjective localization test. As a result of objective/subjective localization test, the proposed system shows the statistically same performance compare with 22.2ch audio system and shows the significantly better performance compared with 5.1ch audio system.

Phenylalanyl-2-Sulfanilylglycine as Substrate for Leucine Aminopeptidase Assay

  • A chromogenic mimic of phenlyalanyl-dipeptide, L-phenylalanyl-L-2-sulfanilylglycine (PSG), was synthesized and examined for its usability in leucine aminopeptidase (LAP) assay. The enzyme activity was easily determined by measuring the amount of diazotized adduct of sulfanilic acid released upon hydrolysis of PSG ($\varepsilon^{420}$=18,000/M/cm). Under the experimental conditions employed, PSG showed a Km of 0.063 mM and a Kcat of 1683/min, assessable less than 0.1 $\mu$ g of LAP per milliliter. And the presence of aminopeptidase M (APM) was suggested to be negligible in LAP assay. This novel assay can circumvent the occasional yellow background in biological systems, i.e., serums, etc..

SURVEY OF EMISSION-LINE GALAXIES BY OBJECTIVE PRISM OBSERVATIONS (대물프리즘관측에 의한 방출선은하의 탐색)

  • In order to discover the candidates of emission-line galaxies towards Hydra Void, objective-prism observations using U.K. Schmidt Telescope were carried out. To search the emission feature of [0III]${\lambda}{\lambda}4959,5007$ for all objects on the plate, all observed prism plates were scanned with APM at the Royal Observatory and the copied direct R plates were scanned with PDS Microdensitometer operating in the Inter- University Center for National Science Research Facilities. By utilizing the "XIMTOOL" package, both spectral and direct images for the same field were displayed simultaneously on up and down windows separately. In case of distinct emission features for a certain object, corresponding direct object on the other window was examined through eyeballing to see whether this object is a galaxy. Through this procedure, we discovered in total 33 candidates of emission-line galaxies in a single field.
