유ㆍ무선 및 방송 그리고 인터넷의 망 통합을 염두에 둔 차세대 통신망은 다양한 유형의 단말기 보급과 더불어 새로운 서비스 창출에 대한 필요성이 대두되었고 인터넷 기반의 응용 소프트웨어를 개발하는 방법에 대한 진화가 정보 기술 쪽에서 진행되고 있다. 소프트웨어를 통합하여 비용을 절감하며, 서로 다른 도메인에서 개발된 기능들이 결합된 새로운 응용들을 개발하는 방법론으로서 Web Service 개념이 도입되고 있다. 인터넷에서의 Web Service 기술 적용 시도에 비슷한 시점에 전기통신 분야에서도 표준화 기관들인 ETSI. 3GPP 및 Parlay를 중심으로 통신망 자원들을 사용하기 쉽도록 개방하여 통신 시장에서의 잠재적 신규서비스들을 창출하려는 활발한 노력의 결과 개방형 Parlay/OSA API들을 표준으로 규격화하였으며 최근에 전기통신 분야에 친숙하지 않은 IT 개발자들을 통신 시장에 대거 흡수하여 IT 기술을 전기통신 분야에 접목시키려는 노력의 일환으로 Parlay X Working Group은 Parlay/OSA API들을 더욱 추상화시키기 위한 시도를 하고 있다. ［9］ 본 논문에서는 Parlay Gateway 와 Parlay X Gateway 그리고 Web Service를 개발하여 웹 서비스 기반의 개방형 통신 서비스의 활성화방안에 대해서 기술한다.

The concept of middleware for digital TV receivers is not new one. Using middleware for digital TV development has a number of advantages. It makes it easier for manufacturers to hide differences in the underlying hardware. It also offers a standard platform for application developers. Digital TV middleware enables set-top boxes(STBs) to run video, audio, and applications. The main concern of digital TV middleware is now to reduce its memory usage because most STBs in the market are small footprint. In this paper, we propose several ideas about how to reduce the required memory size on the runtime area of DTV middleware using a new native process technology. Our proposed system has two components; the Efficient Native Process Module, and Enhanced Native Interface APIs for concurrent native modules. With our approach, the required memory reduced from 50% up to 75% compared with the traditional approach. It can be suitable for low end STBs of very low hardware limitation.

AMGA는 EMI의 공식적인 메타데이터서비스로 그리드 환경에서 파일의 메타데이터를 저장하고 사용하는데 쓰인다. 이러한 AMGA는 다양한 분야에서 사용이 가능하도록 다양한 데이터베이스, 다양한 인터페이스와 함께 다양한 프로그래밍 언어를 지원하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 AMGA가 다양한 프로그래밍 언어를 지원하기 위하여 제공하는 API를 활용하는 방법을 설명하고 고에너지 실험 데이터인 Belle II 실험 샘플데이터를 기반으로 API의 성능을 비교한다.

This paper proposes an extension scheme of the well-known Berkeley Socket Interface for supporting QoS-provided multipeer multimedia communications. The current BSD Socket Interface has been TCP/IP-centric historically and the protocol suite was developed for the peer-to-peer best effort data communications. In order to support multiparty multimedia applications, such key functions as group management, QoS control, and reliable multicast transport should be exploited in the current simple unicast communication architecture and the well-known interface should be extended to cover the functions. This paper proposes a few new API functions and some changes in the current APIs.

4D printing is a method that manufactures a programmed transformable 3d printed components that can be transformed in a pre-designed environment. We propose a service-oriented web architecture for supporting 4D printing system. Service model is classified under four kinds of functions: design, sharing, application and production. We designed RESTful web APIs for these functions. Some preliminary designs about the web API architecture and data modeling is discussed.

The pollination activity of honeybees(Apis melltfera L.) were investigated at the green-house peach blossom of Cheongdo Peach Experiment Station in Korea during the early spring from 2/28/02 - 3/4/02. Furthermore, the differences of ripened fruits, such as bearing ratio, fruit weight, diameter, hardness, sweetness, and acidity were measured to compare the effects with honeybee, artificial, honeybee+artificial, and none pollination. Sensor network consists of a large number of sensor node distributed in the environment being sensed and controlled. The resource-constrained sensor nodes tend to have various and heterogeneous architecture. Thus, it is important to make its software environment platform-independent and reprogrammable. In this paper, we present BeeVM, a Java operating system designed for sensor networks. BeeVM offers a platform-independent Java programming environment with its efficiently executable file format and a set of class APIs for basic operating functions, sensing and wireless networking. BeeVM's high-level native interface and layered network subsystem allow complex program for sensor network to be short and readable. Our platform has been ported on two currently popular hardware platforms and we show its effectiveness through the evaluation of a simple application.

This thesis is dealing with conveyer remote monitoring and control system for shoes process formed by client/server, which is based on Web. Modules for watching and controlling images in a remote by client is manufactured under JAVA, and conveyer server for real-time controlling is founded on RTLinux. And device driver and APIs are developed based on it. Through both manufacturing these software and LEGO-based prototyping, it would present the real-time conveyer controlling system founded on Web to be applied to industrial spots.

Elasticsearch is an open source search and analytics engine that can search petabytes of data in near real time. It is designed as a distributed system horizontally scalable and highly available. It provides RESTful APIs, thereby making it programming-language agnostic. Full text search of multilingual text requires language-specific analyzers and field mappings appropriate for indexing and searching multilingual text. Additionally, a language detector can be used in conjunction with the analyzers to improve the multilingual text search. Elasticsearch provides more than 40 language analysis plugins that can process text and extract language-specific tokens and language detector plugins that can determine the language of the given text. This study investigates three different approaches to index and search Chinese, Japanese, and Korean (CJK) text (single analyzer, multi-fields, and language detector-based), and identifies the advantages of the language detector-based approach compared to the other two.

In this paper, ageing diagnostics in the large capacity oil transformer are investigated. Following items are investigated for the ageing diagnostic in transformer oils (leakage current of sensor, power consumption and temperature of transformer oil). All temperature data are gathered from daily report in the substation. The power consumption of transformer are gathered output report of APIS(Airport Power Information System). Especially, data of sensor leakage current are accumulated from the online diagnostic system for transformer oil.
