To achieve this study, this study divide career orientations of AIS user into technology and management and group job characteristics into variety and autonomy and is to verify an effect of two factors on system performance (AIS satisfaction and use). The results of this study are as follows. First, there is a positive effect of the relevance between technology orientation and autonomy on AIS satisfaction. Second, there is a positive effect of the relevance between management orientation and job variety on AIS satisfaction. Third, there is a positive effect of the relevance between technology orientation and autonomy on AIS use, and finally, there is no positive effect of the relevance between management orientation and job variety on AIS use.

Based upon previous research, factors affecting office productivity with the Accounting Information Systems(AIS) were suggested, and the relationships between the factors and the office productivity with the AIS were hypothesized. The empirical results suggested that there are significant positive relationships between the factors such as the user participation, level of AIS utilization, internal AIS development and AIS technical sophistication and the office productivity with the AIS. According to the results, the office productivity increasing strategy with the AIS were proposed.

In China, the traditional method of artificial and periodical cruise is still adopted for the AtoN management, which has brought many disadvantages to the work of the AtoN management, such as non real-time, fallibility, and low efficiency However, with the rapid development of AIS technique, now AIS equipments have been widely installed on ships, and on the other hand China Maritime Safety Administration (abr. China MSA) is carrying out the scheme of AIS base station network in china, based on which the digital AtoN will develop in the future. According to what have been analyzed above, this paper puts forward a design of AtoN wireless surveillance system based on AIS. The system consists of AIS on AtoN, AIS base station and AtoN management center. It can provide such functions as the information gathering, managing of AtoN and the service of navigation assistance. This paper gives the whole design including the work theory, the hardware structure and the software scheme of the system, and finally gives the simulation software of the AtoN management center. The AtoN wireless surveillance system brought forward by this paper will be more efficient with less repair cost and less work of the supervisors. It will bring revolutionary progress in the navigation aids system in China.

The AIS(Automatic Identification System) has been widely used for ship safety at sea over the last 10 years. The AIS traffic load at VDL(VHF Data Link) has been continuously increased. As the traffic load at VDL increases, the quality of AIS service may be deteriorated. In the previous research, the AIS traffic has been analyzed in the major ports of Korea, and its problem due to traffic overload has been suggested. However, no solutions has been given so far. In this paper, the method of autimatically controlling the VDL traffic at AIS base station is represented.

This study surveys 212 accounting information systems (AIS) of 85 manufacturing firms by using the research model based on the management process of AIS to figure out the current status and problems of the computing environment and AIS of Korean firms. The analysis of the current status leads to the suggestions to promote the utilization and efficiency of AIS. The level of experiences and education of information system (IS) personnel turns out to be still low. More education is needed to upgrade the IS personnel. AIS users lack in the computer knowledge. The users need more computer education. The analysis on the computerization and information characteristics of the AIS subsystems shows that the computerization is well established in the financial accounting area. On the other hand, the computerization for managerial accounting areas is in its early stage. The managerial accounting systems need be developed to support the managerial decision making effectively. The majority of firms develop the AIS by their own IS teams. When firms use the consulting services in developing AIS, they prefer accounting firms. The majority of firms fail to evaluate the AIS because the evaluation tools are not available. Most firms do not perform the auditing for AIS. It is needed to develop the tool and techniques for evalauation and auditing AIS.

This study analyzed about medium-sized companies with AIS systems and outsourcing services to relate that the system performance. In addition, for the most efficient outsourcing of AIS management plan were analyzed. In this study, studied the practical environment of AIS outsourcing that separated the operating departments and administrative departments and divisions information to small-mid size companies. The results of this study can be summarized as the first, small business outsourcing companies of AIS introduction of the initial accounting module if you run a higher job performance were analyzed. Second, AIS in the outsourcing of integrated modules for the system to operate through the performance was very high. Integrated operation to be analyzed according to the synergistic effect. The results of this study AIS in the future of manufacturing outsourcing, and how small and medium-sized building is expected to give alternation.

Each country has recently established and operated so called Aids to Navigation(AtoN) AIS system collecting and transferring information on the sea state and AtoN's position. Korea has also decided to introduce the system and been establishing it. And it has already installed and operated this system in Incheon and Daesan. For the purpose of giving the national standards of AtoN AIS, this paper is to investigate the present states of AtoN AIS systems in the above two area and to suggest the improvement to the operation of AtoN AIS system. To make it, the paper deals with the international regulations of related AtoN AIS and the cases of foreign's AtoN AIS system installed and also investigates the operation states of the system, in five modules such as system management, system composition, information, function and cooperation. The followings are concluded; improving the inconsistency of system management, reducing operator's confusion caused by excessive display of AtoN AIS system, improving the problem of receiving unnecessary information, improving the functional problems caused by AIS communication inability and improving AtoN AIS information which is presently not used on board.

This study is to analyze the effect of compatibility of information characteristics and information technology structure on AIS performance. This used financial and non-financial factors as the characteristics of management accounting information and used information technology structure as centralization and decentralization classified by Ahtuv et.(1989) and Fiedler et.(1996). 425 sampling companies are selected randomly and 137 of them were used in this study. The results of this study are as follows. First, In compatibility analysis between the characteristics of management accounting information and information technology structure, in case of companies which have centralized data process system, AIS performance of companies which use financial information is higher than that of companies which use non-financial information. However, no meaningful results show statistically. in case of companies which have decentralized data process system, AIS performance of companies which use non-financial information is higher than that of companies which use financial information. Also the statistical results show the meaning at the p. < 0.01.

The current AIS network and. system are run on a full scale with 22 ground stations and. 11 operational systems, completing a nation-wide, integrated network However, currently it needs to manage sea traffic by linking AIS to VIS which 1vs a limited service area due to restricted radar detection zones in harbors or coastal areas. AIS is one of the most critical systems in any organization. Data quality plays a critical role in a knowledge-based economy. The objective of this study is to identify the most important factors for accounting information quality and their impact on AIS data quality outcomes. This study includes an extensive literature review to identify a set of CSF for data quality. The study uses empirical data to test the research hypothesis and resluts show that the top three most important factors that affect AIS's data quality are toop management commitmentm the nature of the AIS and input controls. The study further uses regression analysis to test the effect of those factors on AIS data quality, finding that there is a significant positive relationship between the perceived performance of the three factors and AIS data quality putcomes. To be develop to AIS data quality further study for CSF's control methodology is necessary.
