  • Microstructure and phase transformation of mechanically alloyed TiNi powders added to aluminium matrix for enhancing the damping properties were studied. Four compositions between 48.5 and 51.5 at% Ti intermetallic compounds were selected to control the fraction of martensite phase. Mechanically alloyed TiNi powders were heat-treated at vacuum of $10^{-6}$ torr for crystallization. Ball milled AI/TiNi composite powders were swaged at room temperature and rolled at 450 $^{\circ}C$. After mechanical alloying for 10 hours, Ti and Ni elements were alloyed completely and amorphous phase was formed. Amorphous phase was crystallized to martensite (Bl9') and austenite(B2) after heat treating for 1 hour at the temperature of 850 $^{\circ}C$, and TiNi$_3$, intermetallic compound was partially formed. Considerable amount of martensite phase was remained after swaging and rolling.

  • Digital transformation is accelerating in all industries due to COVID-19 and rapidly developing ICT technology. In the field of education, teaching methods that combine various IT devices and software technologies are being applied. The education requires a future learning environment using EduTech such as digital learning tools. We perform a case study on the use of digital learning tools for effective class. In this study, digital learning tools were applied to an university class. The class was held in the second semester of 2022 at A university, with 67 students participating. In our case, QuizN, Mentimeter, and Google Forms were applied as digital learning tools. In order to evaluate our case, a survey was conducted using the Google Questionnaire. From the results of the survey evaluation, more than 85% of all survey questions answered that they were satisfied. From it, digital learning tools were shown to be effective in class operation.

  • The emerging technologies at the industrial level have deployed rapidly within the energy transition process innovations. The nuclear industry incorporates several technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Digital Twins, High-Performance-Computing (HPC) and Quantum Computing (QC), among others. Factors identifications are explained to set up a regulatory framework in the digitalization era, providing new capabilities paths for nuclear technologies in the forthcoming years. The Analytical Network Process (ANP) integrates the quantitative-qualitative decision-making analysis to assess the implementation of different aspects in the digital transformation for the New-Energy Transition Era (NETE) with a Nuclear Power Infrastructure Development (NPID).

  • Advanced packaging is emerging as a core technology owing to the increasing demand for multifunctional and highly integrated semiconductors to achieve low power and high performance following digital transformation. It may allow to overcome current limitations of semiconductor process miniaturization and enables single packaging of individual devices. The introduction of advanced packaging facilitates the integration of various chips into one device, and it is emerging as a competitive edge in the industry with high added value, possibly replacing traditional packaging that focuses on electrical connections and the protection of semiconductor devices.

  • This study aims to provide suggestions for a paradigm shift in the Korean government platform in the era of virtual society. We have examined examples of digital governance construction implemented in major advanced countries and derived 13 tasks in four areas for the construction of digital platform governance in Korea. In other words, the Korean government must 1) be a government that runs national affairs based on AI and data, 2) a government that does a good job through digital transformation, 3) a government that provides preemptive customized services, and 4) a government that aims for a convenient and safe digital inclusive society. We have proposed 13 specific detailed tasks and key promotion plans for paradigm shift, which we hope will help the Korean government to quickly establish a digital platform governance for public-private cooperation.

  • Due to the recent development of artificial intelligence technology, the field of education also needs fundamental changes, such as digital competency and digital media literacy education. However, it is still a situation where one teacher has no choice but to teach diverse students in one classroom. To solve these problems, the Ministry of Education announced a 'digital-based education innovation plan' focusing on the introduction of 'AI digital textbooks'. The purpose of this study is to examine the current status of the government's digital-based education innovation and suggest specific measures for digital-based education innovation. First, one of the key points of the 2022 revised curriculum is the establishment of a teaching, learning, and evaluation system suitable for the digital and AI educational environment. Second, the contents of the 2023 Ministry of Education's digital-based education innovation plan are as follows. The direction of implementation is the realization of the vision of customized education for all, gradual voluntary expansion through digital leading schools and leading teachers, and establishment of cooperative partnerships with various entities within the government and the private sector. The detailed implementation plan for digital-based education innovation is as follows. First, improving digital infrastructure. Second, digital conversion teacher education and capacity building. Third, providing a digital, personalized learning experience. Fourth, developing digital content and platforms. Fifth, ensuring digital safety and personal information protection. Sixth, overcoming digital social inequality.

  • C-ITS(Cooperative Intelligent Transport System) that pursues traffic safety and convenience uses various sensors to generate traffic information. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the sensor-related technology to increase the efficiency and reliability of the traffic information. Recently, the role of CCTV in collecting video information has become more important due to advances in AI(Artificial Intelligence) technology. In this study, we propose to identify and track dynamic objects(vehicles, people, etc.) in CCTV images, and to analyze and provide information about them in various environments. To this end, we conducted identification and tracking of dynamic objects using the Yolov4 and Deepsort algorithms, establishment of real-time multi-user support servers based on Kafka, defining transformation matrices between images and spatial coordinate systems, and map-based dynamic object visualization. In addition, a positional consistency evaluation was performed to confirm its usefulness. Through the proposed scheme, we confirmed that CCTVs can serve as important sensors to provide relevant information by analyzing road conditions in real time in terms of road infrastructure beyond a simple monitoring role.

  • The $\beta$-1,4-endoglucanase gene from Actinomyces sp. 40 was cloned into Escherichia coli DH5$\alpha$ with pUC19. Chromosomal DNA from Actinomyces sp. 40 was cleaved with the restriction enzyme Sau3AI and ligated into pUC19 for the transformation of Escherichia coli DH5$\alpha$. Positive clones of $\beta$-1,4-endoglucanase gene were detected as the clear zones on a medium supplemented with carboxymethylcellulose (CMC). This transformant possessed a single plasmid, designated pDS1, which contained the vector DNA and a 3.5 kilobase (kb) Sau3AI insertion fragment encoding endoglucanase. The size of the cloned fragment was reduced to 2.0 kb. The endoglucanase activity produced by the E. coli DH5$\alpha$ (pDS6) was higher than that of Actinomyces sp. 40 strain. The optimum pH and temperature of the cloned enzyme were pH 4.0$\sim$5.0 and 55$^{\circ}C$, respectively. The cloned enzyme was stable at 55$^{\circ}C$ or below and in buffer ranging from pH 4.0 to 7.0. The enzyme degraded CMC but did not degrade xylan, cellobiose, and methyl-umbelliferylcellobiopyranoside (MUC).
