롤러 신발과 조깅 슈즈 신발 착용 후 보행 시 지면반력의 형태 비교 분석 (The Effects of Wearing Roller Shoes on Ground Reaction Force Characteristics During Walking)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare GRF characteristics during walking wearing jogging and roller shoes. Twelve male middle school students (age: $15.0{\pm}0.0\;yrs$, height: $173.6{\pm}5.0\;cm$, weight: $587.6{\pm}89.3\;N$) who have no known musculoskeletal disorders were recruited as the subjects. Kinematic data from six S-VHS camcorders(Panasonic AG456, 60 fields/s) and GRF data from two force platform; (AMII OR6-5) were collected while subjects walked wearing roller and jogging shoes in random order at a speed of 1.1 m/s. An event sync unit with a bright LED light was used to synchronize the video and GRF recordings. GRF data were filtered using a 20 Hz low pass Butterworth. digital filter and further normalized to the subject's body weight. For each trial being analyzed, five critical instants and four phases were identified from the recording. Temporal parameters, GRFs, displacement of center of pressure (DCP), and loading and decay rates were determined for each trial. For each dependent variable, paired t-test was performed to test if significant difference existed between shoe conditions (p <.05). Vertical GRFs at heel contact increased and braking forces at the end of initial double limb stance reduced significantly when going from jogging shoe to roller shoe condition. Robbins and Waked (1997) reported that balance and vertical GRF are closely related It seems that the ankle and knee joints are locked in an awkward fashion at the heel contact to compensate for the imbalance. The DCP in the antero-posterior direction for the roller shoe condition was significantly less than the corresponding value for the jogging shoe condition. Because the subjects tried to keep their upper body weight in front of the hip to prevent falling backward, the DCP for the roller shoe condition was restricted The results indicate that walking with roller shoes had little effect on temporal parameters, and loading and decay rates. It seems that there are differences in GRF characteristics between roller shoe and jogging shoe conditions. The differences in GRF pattern may be caused primarily by the altered position of ankle, knee, and center of mass throughout the walking cycle. Future studies should examine muscle activation patterns and joint kinematics during walking with roller shoes.

오적산을 투여한 흰쥐의 혈액중 금속농도 비교에 관한 연구 - 용량-반응관계와 기전을 중심으로 - (Comparison of Blood Metal Concentration in Ohjeok-san(Wuji-san) Treated Rats - Dose-Response Relationship and Mechanism -)

  • Objectives: In recent years, extensive focus has been laid on adulteration of herbal medicine with heavy metals. This may be mainly due to soil contamination by environmental pollution. The objective of this study is to identify the contents of various heavy metals in the blood from Ohjeok-san (Wuji-san) Decoction (OD) treated-rats. Methods: For this study, 13 kinds of metals including essential and heavy metals, i.e. A1, As, Cd, Co, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn, Ni, Pb, Se and Zn were analyzed by a slight modification of EP A methods and the following results are obtained. Results: 1. There was no significant difference between the OD-treated groups and control group in liver, kidney, bone, brain and weight, especially no significant difference at the 5th and 10th days in weight and the amount of food intake. 2. The amount of each metal analyzed in the blood were as follows; A1: 2.3~3.07 mg/l, As: 2.90~3.66 mg/l, Cd: 0~0.001 mg/l, Co: 0~0.01 mg/l, Cr: 0.40~043 mg/l, Cu: 0.93~1.88 mg/l, Fe: 414.35~464.46 mg/l, Hg: 0.01 mg/l, Mn: 0.10~0.17 mg/l, Ni: 0.01 mg/l, Pb: 0.03~012 mg/l, Se: 0.73 mg/l, Zn: 3.41~4.13 mg/l by groups, respectively. In control and experimental group, Experimental I and other experimental II, III, IV, and V groups, there were no significant differences. 3. The amount of non-toxic metals (A1, Co, Cu, Fe, Mn, Se, Zn) were $64.1{\pm}7.71{\;}mg/l$ in the control group and 60.70~67.58 mg/l in the experimental groups I, II, III, IV and V. The amount of Toxic metals (As, Cd, Cr, Ag, Pb) were $0.68{\pm}0.21{\;}mg/l$ in the control group and 0.57 ~ 0.66mg/l in the experimental groups. The total amount of metals were 32.35 mg/l in the control group and 30.48~34.12 mg/l in the test groups I, II, III, IV and V, respectively. Conclusions: There was no significant difference of metal concentration in the blood from the OD-treated-rats compared to those of the control group even if higher dosage (1~8 times the dosage for a person) of OD was administered. This may be mainly due to a decoction treatment which contains only supernatants filtered from the herb-mass after boiling. This indicates the legal limitation for metal concentration in herbal medicine must be applied according to different treatment methods of herbal medicine.

유기성폐기물의 회분식 혐기성 최종생분해도와 다중분해속도 해석 (Determination of Ultimate Biodegradability and Multiple Decay Rate Coefficients in Anaerobic Batch Degradation of Organic Wastes)

  • 본 연구에서는 유기성폐기물의 최종생분해도를 평가하여 혐기소화조의 정확한 효율평가를 위한 기초자료를 확보하고 유기물의 분해경향을 보다 정확히 평가할 수 있는 다중 분해속도분석(Multiple k analysis)기법을 개발하여 다중 분해속도상수와 각각의 분해속도에 관여하고 있는 기질의 분율을 산정하려는데 목적이 있다. 연구 결과 폐활성슬러지의 최종생분해도는 50%, 농축슬러지는 40%로 평가되어 85%내외의 생분해도를 나타낸 Sorghum이나 Swine Waste에 비해 현저히 낮았다. 활성슬러지의 경우 생분해가능한 기질의 71%가 22일내에 초기분해속도상수 $k_1$인, $0.151\;day^{-1}$로 빠르게 분해되고 그 이후로 남아 있는 29%의 기질이 분해속도상수 $k_2$인, $0.021\;day^{-1}$로 아주 느리게 분해되었다. 반면 농축슬러지의 경우는 기질의 39%만이 $k_1$인, $0.123\;day^{-1}$로 빠르게 분해되었으며 60% 이상이 $k_2$인, $0.001\;day^{-1}$로 매우 느리게 분해되었다. 한편 Sorghum은 초기분해속도상수($k_1$)인 $0.248{\sim}0.358\;day^{-1}$ 범위로 기질의 약 90%($S_1$)가 16일 이내에 빠르게 분해되었으며 축분의 경우 $k_1$인, $0.155{\sim}0.209\;day^{-1}$ 범위로 기질의 $84{\sim}91%(S_1)$가 14일 이내에 빠르게 분해됨을 알 수 있다. 따라서 Multi k Analysis방법을 이용하여 도출된 하수 슬러지의 분해속도상수와 기질의 분율 및 분해패턴을 토대로 혐기성소화시 효율적이고 경제적인 HRT의 산정이 가능하다.

초전도 박막선재의 확산 접합 및 특성 (Diffusion Bonding and Property of Superconducting Coated Conductor)

  • 초전도 응용기기 개발을 위해 필수적인 초전도 박막선재는 길이방향으로 임계전류밀도가 균일한 것이 요구되고 있다. 전체 길이에 대해 가장 임계전류 밀도가 낮은 지점에서 선재의 특성이 제한되기 때문이다. 한편 초전도 박막선재의 경우 높은 임계전류 밀도와 함께 과전류 등의 사고발생시를 고려하여 안정화재를 반드시 초전도층 위에 구성하여야 한다. 고가의 은(Ag)을 두껍게 증착할 수 없으므로 보통은 구리도금 또는 솔더링으로 안정화재를 덧댄다. 본 연구에서는 초전도 박막선재의 대전류화와 길이방향의 전류 균일성 향상, 안정화 특성 항상 등의 목적으로 초전도 박막선재간 확산 접합을 시도하였다. 초전도 박막선재 제조 후 안정화재인 은을 증착 후 따로 구리도금이나 솔더링 없이 선재 2가닥을 서로 포개어서 열처리를 하였다. 이때 선재간의 충분한 확산접합을 위하여 선재를 둥근 SUS 디스크에 감고 외부에 다시 SUS판재로 감아서 열처리 도중 압력을 가하였다. 아울러 포개는 방법도 초전도층의 위치에 따라 3 가지로 하였으며 열처리 후 임계전류를 측정하였다. 각 선재한 가닥에 대한 임계전류는 77K에서 50~60 A 정도의 임계전류를 나타내었으며 선재를 접합한 경우 90~120A의 특성을 나타내었으며 특히 초전도층이 설마주보는 형태에서 가장 높은 임계전류 특성을 나타내었다.

저신장과 비만도의 상관성 분석 - 저신장을 주소로 내원한 환아 236명을 대상으로 (Correlation between Short Stature and Obese Degree - Intended for the Case of 236 Patient in the Name of Short Stature)

  • Objectives The purpose of this study was to investigate correlation between short stature and obese degree. And we also wanted to know the characteristics of patients visited clinic in the name of 'short stature'. Methods Height, body weight, BMI, fat mass, lean body mass, percent body fat were taken intended for 236 patients in the name of short stature. To all the patient questionnaire for growth clinic was drawn up, and ultrasound scan was taken through calcaneous of the right foot. The patients were classified to three groups - short, average, tall group - according to relative position of mid-parental height. It was analysed that the differences between groups in obese degree. Also was investigated correlation between position of short stature and obese degree, and between obese degree and bony maturity. Results & Conclusion 1. The average ages of patients in the name of 'short stature' were $12.69{\pm}3.93$ years old in boys, $10.66{\pm}3.67$ years old in girls. And it seemed to be just before second rapid maturing period. 2. The average BMI were $20.58{\pm}4.07kg/m^2$ in boys, $18.65{\pm}2.85kg/m^2$ in girls, and average percent body fat were $21.99{\pm}7.35%$ in boys, $26.01{\pm}6.35%$ in girls. 3. The numbers of obese children were 34(31.2%) in boys, 19(14.9%) in girls on the basis of BMI. And the numbers were 39(35.8%) in boys, 53(41.7%) in girls on the basis of percent body fat. There was a big difference in case of girls. 4. The numbers of AG(average group) were 48(44.0%) in boys, 60(47.2%) in girls, the numbers of SG(short group) were 35(32.1%) in boys, 31(24.4%) in girls, and numbers of TG(tall group) were 26(23.9%) in boys, 35(27.6%) in girls. 5. There were no significant differences among the groups in BMI, lean body mass, fat mass, percent body fat. Only significant difference in DI(disease index). 6. There were no significant correlation between PH(percent height) and BMI, leanbody mass, fat mass, percent body fat. Only significant correlation in DI(disease index). 7. There were no significant differences between DA(difference between bone age and chronorogical age) and BMI, leanbody mass, percent body fat. Only significant correlation in fat mass.

한반도(韓半島) 무주(茂朱)-영암(靈岩)지역 백악기(白堊紀) 천열수(淺熱水) 금(金)-은(銀) 광화작용(鑛化作用) 연구(설천(雪川)지역 광화대(鑛化帶)) (Cretaceous Epithermal Au-Ag Mineralization in the Muju-Yeongam District (Sulcheon Mineralized Area), Republic of Korea)

  • 설천(雪川)지역 광화대내 월성(月城) 및 삼창(三倉)광산의 천열수성(淺熱水性) 금(金)-은(銀) 맥상(脈狀) 광화작용은 선캠브리아기 편마암류(片麻岩類)와 백악기(白堊紀)(102 Ma) 반상(班狀) 화강암 내에 발달하는 단층열극을 충진 배태한다. 광화작용은 구조적으로 크게 2회에 걸쳐 진행되었으며, 그 시기는 후기 백악기(白堊紀)(90.5 Ma)이다. 유체포유물(流體包有物) 및 광물학적 연구에 의하면, 광화 I기 중 석영-황화광물-에렉트럼-휘은석의 침전은 약 400~700 m의 천심(淺深)에서 0.2~6.6 wt. % NaCl 상당염농도(相當鹽濃度)의 유체로부터 초기 약 $340^{\circ}C$로부터 후기 약 $140^{\circ}C$에 이르는 비교적 넓은 온도 범위에서 진행되었다. 유체(流體)-유체(流體) 혼합에 대한 통계학적 모델 평가에 의하면, 심부원(深部源) 열수 유체와 천부(淺部) 순환 천수(天水) 사이의 혼합비는 광화작용의 진행과 더불어 점차 감소하였음을 지시한다. 금-은 광물의 침전은 순환 천수의 혼입에 따른 광화유체의 냉각 작용에 기인, $230{\pm}40^{\circ}C$의 좁은 온도 범위에서 진행되었다. 산소 및 수소 안정동위원소(安定同位元素) 분석연구에 의하면, 광화 유체는 일차적으로 순환 천수로부터 기원하였고, 그 동위원소 조성은 동위원소적으로 진화하지 않은 순환천수의 값에 매우 근접하였음을 나타낸다.

필름 스피커 적용을 위한 PZT/polymer 복합체의 후막 제조 및 압전 특성 평가

  • 압전세라믹 재료는 현재 압전 변압기, actuator, transducer, sensor, speaker 등에 광범위하게 이용이 되고 있다. 이 중에서 압전세라믹 소결체를 이용한 스피커의 제조는 가공이 까다롭고, 대형의 크기로 제작 시 소자가 깨지는 등의 많은 제약을 받고 있으며, 저음 특성이 떨어져 응용 범위가 한정되어 있다. 따라서 최근에는 이러한 단점을 극복하기 위하여 세라믹/고분자 복합체를 이용한 필름 스피커를 제작하고자 시도하고 있다. 이러한 세라믹/고분자 0-3형 압전 복합체를 이용할 경우, 제품의 경량화를 실현할 수 있고, 크기나 환경의 영향을 거의 받지 않으므로, 고기능성 스피커로의 응용에 적합할 것으로 보인다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 PZT계의 세라믹와 PVDF, PVDF-TrFE, Polyester, acrylic resin 등의 여러 고분자 물질과의 복합체를 제조하여 압전특성을 평가하였다. 본 실험은 먼저 $(Pb_{1-a-b}Ba_aCd_b)(Zr_xTi_{1-x})_{1-c-d}(Ni_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_c(Zn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})_dO_3$ (이하 PZT라 표기)의 최적화 조성을 선택하여, $1050^{\circ}C$에서 소결된 분말을 48시간 ball milling방법 로 약 $1{\mu}m$ 크기로 분쇄하였다. 고분자 물질들은 알맞은 용제들을 선택하여 녹였다. 그 다음 소결된 PZT분말과 고분자를 50:50, 60:40, 65:35, 70:30등의 무게 분율로 혼합하고, 분산제, 소포제 등을 첨가하여 3단 roll mill을 이용하여 충분히 분산시켜 페이스트 (Paste)를 제조하였다. 제조된 페이스트를 ITO가 코팅된 PET필름 위에 스크린 프린팅 법을 사용하여 인쇄하여 $120^{\circ}C$에서 5분간 건조하였다. 코팅된 복합체의 두께는 약 $80{\mu}m$ 정도로 측정되었다. Ag 페이스트를 이용한 상부 전극 형성에도 스크린 프린팅 법을 적용하였다. 이를 $120^{\circ}C$에서 4 kV/mm의 DC 전계로 분극 공정을 수행한 후 전기적 특성을 평가하였다. 유전특성을 조사하기 위해서 LCR meter (EDC-1620)를 사용하였고, 시편의 결정구조는 XRD (Rigaku; D/MAX-2500H)을 통해 분석하였으며, 전자현미경(SEM)을 이용하여 미세구조를 분석하였다. 압전 전하상수$(d_{33})$ 값은 APC 8000 모델을 이용하여 측정하였다. PZT의 혼합비가 증가할수록 비유전율 및 압전 전하 상수 등의 전기적 특성이 증가되었다. 또 여러 고분자 물질 중에서 PVDF-TrFE 수지가 가장 우수한 특성을 보였다. 이는 PVDF-TrFE 수지가 압전성을 나타내기 때문인 것으로 판단되었다.

A Monoclonal Anti-peptide Antibody against $\beta$2-adrenergic Receptor Which Specifically Binds [$^{3}H$] dihydroalprenolol

  • The analysis of membrane receptors for hormones and neurotransmitters has progressed considerably by pharmacological and biochemical means and more recently through the use of specific antibodies. To generate and characterize a moloclonal antibody against $\beta$-adrenergic receptor, a synthetic $\beta$2-adrenergic receptor peptide (Phe-Gly-Asn-Phe-Trp-Cys-Phe-Trp-Thr-Ser-lle-Asp-Val-Leu) which may comprise part of $\beta$-adrenergic receptor ligand binding pocket was coupled to Keyhole Limpet Hemocyanin (KLH) and used as an immunogen. Male BALB/C mice were immunized with this antigen and the immunized spleen was fused with myeloma SP2/0-Ag14 cells to produce monoclonal antibodies. Two clones were obtained but one of monoclonal antibodies, mAb5G09, was used throughout in this study because the other clone, mAb5All showed weak immunoreactivity against KLH as well. The mouse monoclonal antibody mAb5G09 produced in this study showed immunoreactivity to peptide-KLH conjugates and also to human A43l cells and guinea pig lung $\beta$2-adrenergic receptor as revealed by ELISA and western blot. In the course of determination of the effects of mAb5G09 on $\beta$-receptor ligand binding, it was observed that mAb5G09 specifically bound $\beta$-adrenergic radioligand [$^3$H]dihydroalprenolol (DHA) with a dissociation constant (Kd) of 60 nM. The [$^3$H]DHA binding activity of mAb5G09 had characteristics of immunoglobulins and the binding activity was not observed in the control anti-KLH monoclonal antibody. The monoclonal antibody, mAb5G09 produced in this study may provide useful models for the study of the structure of receptor binding sites.

기생충질환(寄生蟲疾患)의 면역혈청학적(免疫血淸學的) 진단(診斷)에 관한 연구(硏究) (Studies on the Seroimmunodiagnosis of Parasitic Diseases)

  • 우리나라에서 문제가 되고 있는 몇몇 기생충질환을 대상으로 각종의 혈청학적 진단법을 적용시켜 진단적 가치 및 의의에 대하여 검토하였다. 연구대상 기생충은 간흡충, 낭미충, Capillaria hepatica이었으며, 주로 간접 형광항체반응, ELISA, western blot등의 기법을 적용시켜 보았다. 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1) 간흡충증에 있어서 ELISA는 83.3%의 민감도를 나타낸 반면 폐흡층 및 조충과의 교차반응이 인정되었다. ELISA는 간접혈구응집반응, 간접형광항체 반응에 비해 우수한 성적을 보이고 있었다. 앞서 기술한 교차반응을 구별하고 항원-항체반응의 특이항원대를 알아보기 위해 실시한 western blot의 결과 59Kd band와 21K의 band는 간흡충감염자 혈청이외에는 반응하지 않아 종특이성이 있는 것으로 판단되었다. Praziquantel로 치료한 다음 18개월 후에 혈청 및 뇨를 이용하여 ELISA로 검사한 결과 OD치는 치료전의 약 1/2수준으로 감소하였고, 음전률은 60%에 이르렀다. 간접혈구응집반응을 이용할 경우 치료 18개월 후 80%가 음전되었다. 2) 낭미충증 진단에 있어서 간접형광항체반응은 95.8%(23/24) 민감도를 나타내었으며 내막에서 가장 강한 반응을 나타내었다. ELISA 역시 90.0%(36/40)의 높은 민감도를 나타내었으나 두 방법 모두에서 다른 기생충감염자 혈청과의 교차반응이 인정되었다. Western blot 에서 볼때 91, 63, 21Kd의 band가 종특이한 것으로 나타났으며, 이중 63Kd의 항원대가 일관성 있게 낭미충 감염 혈청과 반응하였다. 3) Capillaria hepatica 충란을 이용한 난주위침강반응 및 간접형광항체법에서 85.0%의 민감도를 나타내었으며, 초록색의 특이한 형광이 점막전주위 및 충란절단면의 내막에서 관찰되었다. 수용성충란항원을 이용한 ELISA에 있어서도 85.0%의 민감도를 나타내었다. 항체가 감염후 3~5주부터 급격히 상승하기 시작하여 9주부터 점차 감소되어 감염후 13주에는 음성으로 전환되었다.

비철금속(非鐵金屬)의 생산(生産), 소비(消費), 시세(時勢)의 추이(推移) (The Transition of Production, Consumption and Price of Non-ferrous Metals)

  • In considering the mining industry, it is necessary to study the production, consumption and price of ore and metals in every country of the world in order to determine the trend of the industry in the present and for the future. This study is necessary especially for exporting domestically produced are which is in excess of domestic consumption and for importing are, or metal where local production does not meet domestic demand. It will be treated of Au, Ag, Cu, Pb, Zn, W, Mo, which are the most important non-ferrous metals, and which greatly affect the mining industry of Korea. The presentation will concern itself only with the free world. About 1, 200 ton of gold are produced annually with little fluctiation in recent years. Most of the gold produced is consumed by advanced countries for industrial uses as well as for producing precious objects. The U.S.A. expends yearly about four times its domestic production and Japan about three times its domestic production for industry and arts. Because of the instability of the currency of the U.S.A., England and France, recently, the price of gold has been $ 41-42 per ounce, whereas the official price is $35.00 per ounce. It will be expected that the official price will be raised in the near future. As for silver, about 6,500 tons are produced annually with no special fluctuation change in recent years. However, the annual consumption is about 14,000 ton, so the supply and demand is extremely unbalanced. The shortage is made up by the sale of the U.S. treasury's reserve stock and the reclaiminig of silver from coins and other scrap. As the Treasury'S reserves will be exhausted in a year or two, the price of silver which is $1. 64 per ounce, will go up drastically in about a year. As for copper, 5,257,000 ton's were mined in 1966. It's production is being increased about 5% annually. However, consumption exceeds production by about 100,000 ton a year. The recent Foreign refinery copper price in the U.S.A is $ 60 per pound. The supply of copper being insufficient to meet international demands, the price will go up and with no prospect of being lowered in the near future even with the slight annual increase in production. About 2,100,000 to 2,200,000 tons of lead are produced annually. Consumption exceeds production by about 50,000-60,000 tons annually. The current price of lead in New York is $ 155 per pound. As the supply of lead is internationally stable, It will be believed that there will be no significant change in its price in the near future. In 1967, 3,926,000 tons of Zinc were produced. There is annual increase of 4-7% in production. The annual consumption exceeds production by 100,000 to 200,000 tons. The current zinc price in the St. Louis market inthe U.S.A. is $ 145 per pound. Even though its supply is stable and sufficient world wide, the consumption rate will increase at a faster pace than before; hence, the price will slowly go up. Tungsten mines yield about 11,000 tons a year. Its production has been relatively constant in the past few years. The amount of its consumption increases slowly world wide, but in the free world· there has been a slight annual decrease. However, since Red China has not been exporting their tungsten to other countries for several months, the price on the London market of S.T.U. of $Wo_3$ has increased to $ 44~46. Should Red China begin to export actively again the price will drop to $ 40~42. In 1967, 56,000 tons of Molybdenum were produced. Production exceeds consumption by 200,000 -30,000 tons annually. The current price in the U.S.A. is $ 1.72 per Mo pound. Since the rate of production in the U.S.A. is on the increase with large amounts of ore reserve, the price of molubdenum should not go up.
