22.9kV/50MVA급 고온초전도 전력케이블의 교류손실 (The AC loss of 22.9kV/50MVA High-Tc Superconducting Power Cable)

  • An HTS power cable is generally composed of 2 layers for conducting and 1 layer for shielding. For the analysis of AC loss of an HTS power cable, 2-dimensional magnetic field analysis is carried out. The magnetization loss in HTS cable core was calculated, and the transport current loss was obtained from the monoblock equation and the elliptical Norris Equation. And the total AC loss of the cable was expected by the sum of magnetization loss and transport current loss. The variation of ac loss with respect to the gap and uncertain factor between the superconducting tapes was investigated, and the ac loss of 22.9kV/50MVA high-Tc superconducting power cable was calculated. These results well agree with those of experiment.

수직 또는 수평으로 매설된 접지전극의 접지임피던스 측정시 보조전극 위치에 따른 전자유도의 영향 (Effects of Ac Mutual Coupling According to Location of Auxiliary Electrodes In Measuring the Ground Impedance of Vertically or Horizontally Buried Ground Electrode)

  • 접지임피던스의 측정에서는 교류의 전자유도결합을 최소화시키기 위해 보조전극을 직각으로 설치하며, 측정공간이 제한되는 경우 대안적 방법이 적용되고 있다 이때 접지임피던스의 측정에서는 교류 상호결합과 도전유도에 의한 측정오차를 검토할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 수직 또는 수평으로 매설된 접지극의 접지임피던스를 측정할 때 전류와 전위보조전극의 위치에 따른 측정의 정확도에 관한 것으로 전자유도결합에 의한 측정오차를 평가하였다. 결과적으로 교류 전자유도의 영향을 수직 접지극보다 수평접지극의 경우 크게 나타났으며, 교류 전자유도결합에 의한 측정오차는 전류와 전위보조선이 평행하게 배치되는 경우 가장 크게 나타났으며, 결국 61.8[%]법은 접지임피던스측정에는 부적합하다. 이론적으로 전류와 전위보조전극을 90[^{\circ}]$로 배치하면 전자유도결합은 나타나지 않는다. 측정공간의 제한으로 전류와 전위보조전극을 90[^{\circ}]$로 배치할 수 없는 경우 전자유도에 의한 오차를 저감시키기 위해서는 보조전극을 예각보다는 둔각으로 배치하는 것이 바람직하다.

  • In this paper, dc link ripple currents for three-phase ac/dc/ac PWM converters are ana lysed in a frequency domain. The expression of the harmonic currents is developed by using switching functions and exponential Fourier series expansion. The dc link ripple currents with regard to power factor and modulation index are investigated. In addition, the effect of the displacement angle between the switching periods of line-side converters and load-side inverters on the dc link ripple current is studied. The result of the dc link current analysis is helpful in specifying the dc link capacitor size and its lifetime estimation.

  • This paper discusses study of sensorless control of a variable speed switched reluctance motor (SRM) for electric AC compressors on electrical vehicles. A typical SRM drive requires a position sensor such as an encoder or hall sensor to measure the angular rotor position. However, harsh environment in electrical AC compressors for electric vehicles makes it difficult to use the position sensor in their motor drive system. Therefore, a sensorless control scheme for electric compressor motors utilizing magnetic characteristics of SRM with respect to position angle and phase current is proposed. The overall variable speed SRM drive with position sensorless control scheme has been modeled using Matlab/Simulink software and closed loop current control simulation is presented to validate the proposed sensorless drive control.

  • In the magnetic fluid linear pump, the pumping forces and pumping speed mainly depend on the current patterns. In this research, a new design to reduce the discontinuities of the pumping forces of the MFLP was studied. Continuous pumping of the newly designed MFLP by using AC current increases pumping efficiency and reduces the pumping force. Forming shapes of the magnetic fluid at the intermediate state were computed and compared to measurement. Since the back flow of the fluid is reduced remarkably, 4 yoke's AC driving is more efficient than 7 yoke's DC driving. The size, weight and pumping discontinuity are also reduced.

  • In this paper, new high-efficiency zero voltage switching (ZVS) AC-DC boost converter is proposed to achieve power factor correction by simplifing energy recovery circuit. A lot of high power factor correction circuits have been proposed and applied to increase input power factor and efficiency. Most of these circuits may obtain unity power factor and achieve sinusoidal current waveform with zero voltage or/and zero current switching. However, it is difficult for them to obtain low cost, small size, low weight, and low noise. The topology proposed to improve these problems can compact the devices in circuit and can achieve high efficiency ZVS AC-DC boost converter. Simulation and experimental results show that this topology is capable of obtaining high power factor and increasing the efficiency of the system.

  • In this paper, a single-phase PFC (Power Factor Correction) dual boost converter based on input voltage estimation is studied for DC inverter air conditioner. It is focused on improving input power factor and power quality to satisfy the recent harmonic current regulation standards. Furthermore the input voltage estimation is introduced for price competitive products. A low cost and reasonable control system is implemented using a specified high-speed 32-bit microprocessor. Their effectiveness are verified through theoretical analysis and experiments.

  • We have development the dimming controller using the ac chopper technique. The ac chopper change the amplitude of the input source voltage with the unchanged its frequency. The conventional dimming controller is operated by controlling voltage phase and is consist of the triac. It has a bad characteristic about a current THD and a power factor. But the dimming controller using the at chopper technique has a low current THD and a good power factor. The developed dimming controller is consist of the MOSFET and the low pass filter. The system is operated by the variation circuit of the input source voltage and the microprocessor.

  • This paper deals with comparison and analysis for rotor losses of permanent magnet synchronous generator using phase current harmonic analysis according to dc and ac load. On the basis of analytical field analysis, the rotor losses are analysed. Particularly, rated speed and ac load and the rated speed and dc load conditions are considered. This paper compared rotor losses considered dc load with rotor losses considered ac load. Although our analytical modes is low speed, the rotor losses must be considered by results.

  • In this paper, the dynamic analysis and design of an AC to AC power supply with DC current link is presented. Despite many advantages of such a structure, its application in fixed frequency power supplies has received very little attention in the literature. Different issues related to dynamic analysis of the proposed system are considered. These include a simple averaging technique for modeling switching function generators, the concept of Internal Model Controllers, and necessary condition to avoid multiple crossing in ramp comparison methods. Theoretical and experimental results obtained from a DSP-based laboratory type setup are presented.
