  • 본 논문은 임의의 일사량 및 온도 등의 조건에 따라 태양전지의 출력특성을 전기적으로 시뮬레이션하여 여러 회사의 기존 제품 태양전지 모듈의 파라미터와 비교 검토하였고, 또한 이를 바탕으로 태양전지 모듈 어레이를 시뮬레이션하여 최적인 태양전지 모듈 어레이의 규모를 선택하여 독립형 태양광 시스템을 구현하였다.

  • Many countries have recently been expanding efforts for low-carbon global economy to solve the problem of global warming. Development and research for various types of new reusable energy is on the rise throughout the world. The most promising source of energy is the solar photovoltaic energy and the government take an initiative to establish both short-term and long-term policies to develop the solar energy potential resource map. The solar energy and industrialize area researched by GIS methods for optimum site for solar power transfer system. This study attempts to address the hot issue of the development and suitability of the solar photovoltaic energy site using GIS spatial analysis. We need to analyze and describe the solar technology, green energy policies and the energy market trend of the field.

  • Maximum power point tracking(MPPT) is used in photovoltaic(PV) systems to maximize the photovoltaic array output power, irrespective of the temperature and irradiation conditions. The object of this paper is to compare and analyze MPPT efficiency for different MPPT techniques by changing irradiance. Also, this paper introduces transformerless grid-connected inverter. Simple flow charts and characteristics of each MPPT algorithm are shown. The implementation of transformerless grid-connected inveter system was based on a digital signal processor(DSP). Simulation was carried out for each MPPT method.

  • Wind power and photovoltaic(PV) generation systems are the fastest growing sources of renewable energy. The nonlinear devices, such as power electronic converter or inverter, of wind power and PV generation systems are the source of harmonics in power systems. The harmonic-related problems can have significant detrimental effects in the power system, such as capacitor heating, data communication interference, rotating equipment heating, transformer heating, relay misoperation and switchgear failure. There is a greater need for harmonic analysis that can properly maintain the power quality. By measuring harmonics of existing wind power and PV generation systems as harmonics modeling, the studies were made to see the harmonic impact of grid-connected wind power and PV generation systems.

  • This paper presents manufacturing techniques and distribution status of photovoltaic(PV) module for the success of domestic PV industries. The domestic PV production facilities were about 21MW at the end of 2004. Now it is about 51MW. By 2005 a increase of production facilities expect approximately 7080MW. Also domestic PV cumulated installations up to 2004 was about 9,358kW and in 2004 PV system installed around 2,921kW which was increased about 2.8 times compared with last year.

  • In this paper, a mew maximum power point tracker (MPPT) using Fuzzy Controller is proposed to improve energy conversion efficiency. Temperature compensation effect means that Photovoltaic voltage is change in condition irradiation, temperature and ect. Fuzzy algorithm is applied to control Boost MPPT converter by Temperature compensation effect. In this paper, temperature compensation range is 40C+100C.

  • Building integrated photovoltaic(BIPV) system operates as a multi-functional building construction material. They not only produce electricity, but also are building integral components such as facade, roof, window and shading device. As PV modules function like building envelope in BIPV, combined thermal and PV performance should be simultaneously evaluated. This study is to establish basic Information for designing effective BIPV by discovering relations between temperature and generation capability through experiment when the PV module is used as roof material for houses. To do so, we established 3kW full scale mock-up model with real size house and attached an PV array by cutting in half. This is to assess temperature influence depending on whether there is a ventilation on the rear side of PV module or not.

  • This paper presents a maximum power point tracking(MPPT) of Photovoltaic system with chopping ratio of DC-DC converter considered load. A variation of solar irradiation is most important factor in the MPPT of PV system. That is nonlinear, aperiodic and complicated. The paper consists of solar radiation source, DC-DC converter, DC motor and load(cf, pump). NN algorithm apply to DC-DC converter through an adaptive control of neural network, calculates converter-chopping ratio using an adaptive control of NN. The results of an adaptive control of NN compared with the results of converter-chopping ratio which are calculated mathematical modeling and evaluate the proposed algorithm. The experimental data show that an adequacy of the algorithm was established through the compared data.

  • Sudden earthquake is changing national energy stratagem for future energy resource. In case Germany, current nuke power station will be shut down with several decades. Newly constructed build in Japan must have photovoltaic system as a obligations.. As a long-term sustainable energy one, PV should give confidence to customers up to more than 20 years. Today, IEC 61215 and IEC 61646 standards are representative one for ensuring performance and safety of PV module. But it is still needed to develop more realistic test method. For example, if we think about extreme condition like desert and North Pole, the temperature condition describe in test standards can have little effect on life time expectation of PV module. Installation speed of PV system is very high, but establishing test standards are very complex and not easy. So in this paper, I tried to open the long-term test method for PV module to ensure 25 year's old life time. It is just starting point of PV related long-term test methods. The specific and technical explanation will be shown in the following paper in detail.

  • The present study aims to determine the optimized shape for the maximum electric energy production of building integrated photovoltaic system (BIPV) noise barrier through numerical analysis. The shape of BIPV noise barrier is one of the important factors in determining angle difference between direction vector of the sun and normal vector of the sound barrier surface. This study simulated numerically the flow and thermal fields for different angles in the range from 90 to 180, and from the results, the amount of isolation onto noise barrier surface was estimated along the angle between ground and top side of noise barrier. The commercial CFD code (Fluent V. 13.0) was used for calculation. It was found that the maximum amount of insolation per unit area was 19.6 MJ for 105 case during a day in summer and was estimated 12.4 MJ in 150 case during a day in winter. The results of the summer and winter cases showed the different tendency and this result would be useful in determining the appropriate shape of noise barrier which can be mounted under various circumstances.
