Study on children from international marriage so far has been conducted focusing on the school-aged children, and it uniformly presents those children as a mere being with problem, overlooking regional variables of rural area. Hence, this study aims to seek various means of adaptation of children from international marriage by considering both variables rural area and adolescence. For this study, six children from international marriage living in the rural area of H county in Jeonlanamdo were chosen, in-dept interview were conducted, and Giorgi(1985) was used to analyze qualitative data. The results shows that these adolescences appear to have extensive experiences in the areas of learning, personal relationship, home and identity. Level of academic achievement was influenced by what school they attend to, and personal relationship aspect was affected by prejudice and discriminative perception from people around them. In addition, in home environment, hatred toward father, sympathy for mother, comparison with mothers who have great cultural adaptation skills, and pressure as the firstborn appear to be on the increase. Adolescent children tend to be addicted to internet games in order to escape from anxiety, experiencing identity crisis. They tend to be negative about international marriage of their parents, and exhibit behaviors refusing values and religious view of their parents. At the conclusion, limitation of the study and suggestion for further study are presented.

In order to obtain the appropriate data, a questionnaire was administered to 240 boy's high school 2nd-grade students in Pohang city from March 19 to March 28, 1992. The instruments used for this study were Moos's Family Environment Scale Form R and Kim's Symptom Check List-90. The conclusions were as follows : The level of perception of family environment was lower than mean score. Cohesion, achievement orientation, independence, organization, expressiveness were percepted high but active-recreational orientation, intellectual-cultural orientation were percepted low. Mental health of most respondents was well. The scores of obsessive-compulsive reaction and interpersonal sensitivity were high, the scores of somatization and phobia were low. General characteristic variables significantly related to the level of perception about family environment were father's occupation and mother's education level. There were no significant differences between general characteristic variables and mental health. There were mostly negative correlations between perception of family environment and mental health. Cohesion, expressiveness, independence, intellectual-cultural orientation, active-recerational orientation, moral-religious emphasis, organization were negatively correlated but conflict, achivement orientation, control were positively correlated. Cohesion, expressiveness, conflict, achivement orientation, active-recretional orientation, organization, control were significantly related, but independence intellectual-cultural orientation, moral-religious emphasis were no significant correlation.
The purpose of this study is to investigate children's emotional problems (attention problem, aggression, somatic symptom, social withdrawal, depression) and to examine the relationship between children's emotional problems with family characteristics (parent education, parent job, family income), life-styles (gaming times, TV times, sleep time). The sample was 2,140 collections of second grade children and their parents who participated in Korea Youth Panel Survey on 2011. We analyzed the data which were collected by means of questionnaires and the data were analyzed with t -test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation analysis, and regression analysis with SPSS ver. 19.0. The results were summarized as follows. The level of children's emotional problem was relatively low on average. There is a significant difference in the children's emotional problems according to family characteristics and life-styles. There was a relationship between children's emotional problems (attention problem, aggression, somatic symptom, social withdrawal, depression) and life-styles (gaming times, TV times). The significant factors influencing the children's emotional problems are connected with father's education, mother's job, family income, family characteristics, gaming time and TV time of life style. It is noted that parent education level was an important factor for children's attention problem and aggression. Amongst children's life-styles, gaming time and TV time are negative factors for social withdrawal and depression.
The theoretical process model was used to study problem behavior of children growing up at-risk. A sample of 339 children living in at-risk families were selected from among 2, 134 children in grades 4, 5, and 6 of five elementary schools in Seoul. The instruments were five risk factor scales and four protective factor scales. The Child Behavior Checklist was also used. The results of the hypothetical model of children at-risk showed that the factor of socioeconomic status led to positive child rearing attitudes in mothers, which is turn influenced children's problem behavior indirectly. In contrast, stressful life events and mother's depression influenced children's problem behavior directly. However, negative family functioning, marital discord and father's depression did not influence mother's child rearing attitudes or children's problem behavior. Mother's child rearing attitudes directly influenced children's social competence and academic achievement and indirectly influenced their problem behavior. Academic achievement did not influence problem behavior directly, but social competence influenced it directly. Mother's child rearing attitude was the most significant factor affecting children's adaptation.
Sam Shepard is one of the leading American playwrights who represented Off-Off Broadway in the l960s and 1970s. In his early days, he wrote many experimental plays but later he turned to realism. However, under the superficial realism in his later plays, we find that they contain experimental devices and themes. True West (1980) is the last play of ills realistic family trilogy. This play shows that the tradition of Old West, which is symbolized and replaced by desert, disappeared in the industrialized clues of modern West. The Old West is compared which the modern West through the struggle of two brothers, Lee and Austin. Their father, 'Old Man', ran out on his family and went to the desert but did not succeed there. He shows that he failed in achieving the American Dream. The family appears unusual and demolished The relationships of the characters are not based on love and belief. The family symbolizes the negative aspects of modern American society. After Austin recognizes the actual situation finding that there is no real life in the modern West, he tries to leave the city and his family. He wants to go to the desert in search of a new life. However, in the last tableau Lee blocks the exit and the two brothers square off. It implies that they are doomed to continue their struggle. The message Implies that American society today is lacking the same positive values they once had in the Old West.

This study is a descriptive investigative research study to understand the relationship between perceived parental parenting attitude, grit, and career decision-making self-efficacy of nursing students. The subjects of the study were 195 nursing students located in G city, data were collected from April to October 2019. The data analysis used the SPSS 24.0 program and descriptive statistics, correlation, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. As a result of the study, the father's parenting attitude was 41.84±7.55 points, the mother's parenting attitude was 42.97±8.74 points, grit was 103.43±12.74 points, and career decision-making self-efficacy was 76.99±10 points. Career decision-making self-efficacy was a significant negative correlation with the father's parenting attitude (r=-.228, p<.001), Mother's parenting attitude (r=-.257, p<.001). However, There was a significant positive correlation with grit(r=.584, p<001). The major factors that affect the career decision-making self-efficacy were grit(β=.553, p<.001), and It's explanatory power was 35.2%. Therefore, in order to improve the career decision-making self-efficacy of nursing students, guidance and education using a strategy to increase grit is necessary.
It is known that P300-based concealed information test (P300 CIT) was not greatly affected by the traditional countermeasures. This study was to test whether P300 CIT is affected by the new countermeasures. We used three types of countermeasures. First type was a sequential countermeasure in which participants had to respond in alternating ways to irrelevants by pressing the left index finger covertly when the encountered irrelevant firstly, by wiggling the right big toe inside the shoe when encountered irrelevant secondly, by imaging his or her mother's name when encountered irrelevant thirdly, and by imaging his or her father's name when encountered irrelevant fourthly until all stimuli were presented. Second type was a partial matching and physical countermeasure. Participants in this type were asked to press the left index finger imperceptibly after one of the irrelevants and wiggle the right big toe after another of the irrelevants. Third type was a partial matching and mental countermeasure. Participants were required to imagine mother's name for one irrelevant and father's name for another irrelevant. The results showed that contrary to our expectation, the use of sequential countermeasure increased the detection rate from 77% to 92%. The partial matching countermeasure had a negative effect on P300 CIT. The physical countermeasure decreased the detection rate from 77% to 46%, and the mental countermeasure decreased the detection rate from 100% to 69%. The necessity for the development of methods to prevent or detect countermeasure is discussed.
