Firms spend enormous efforts identifying current processes and understanding the related details before establishing new business processes in their business process redesign (BPR) projects. Considering excessive efforts required during the analysis phase and limited support to BPR projects, need for a better method is evident This article describes a method of modeling enterprise business processes bayed on common business forms. By identifying form operations and form field types, the proposed method provides redesign view on the information handling as well as the current process flows in the form of an Event-Process Chain (EPC) diagram.

This paper aims to elaborate the role and availability of the community enterprise as a form of methodology in local regeneration, dealing with urban social problems generated in the process of urban development. In a situation of the increasing skepticism in the capitalism, the instability in public welfare system and disintegration of community, social economy has come to the fore as an alternative. The community enterprise, especially, has shown the potential to form a virtuous cycle in local regeneration system; residents recognize local problems by themselves; discover and utilize the local resources and assets in the process of solving the problems as an entrepreneurial form; and consequently create social and economic capital which can be reinvested in the local community. Given these aspects, Korean government has implemented supporting policies for the promotion of community enterprises, and new government's "Urban Regeneration New Deal Project" are putting more importance on the role of social and community enterprises as a propulsion unit. In this regard, this paper first explores the concept and features of community enterprise in economic and social aspects, whereby it analyzes the capacity of community enterprises as principal agencies or implements in local development. Then, the development status and institutional supports for community enterprises in the UK is revealed, and investigates case studies which are playing a revolutionary role in urban regeneration or local economic revitalization. Based on this analysis, it draws the main factors for the sustainable and autogenous community enterprise as follows: flexibility in legal forms, community owned assets, diverse fund streams and invigorating social investment market, active partnership between public and private sectors, ardent enterprisers and intermediate support organizations.

The United Kingdom and the United States are designating and implementing enterprise zones for the purpose of promoting the revitalization of the local economy. However, there are still mixed views on the effectiveness of the Enterprise Zone's policies. At this point, the purpose of this study is to look at policies in the form of enterprise zones in the country and see how these policies affect the revitalization of the local economy. As a result of the analysis, the areas designated as enterprise zones were becoming more economically vitalize than those that were not. In addition, it was analyzed that redundant designation of enterprise zones has a greater effect on regional economic revitalization than single designation.

The analysis result regarding the influence where the enterprise culture goes mad to a duty satisfaction with afterwards is same. First. The enterprise culture factor who causes an effect in the supervision factor of duty satisfaction joint ownership of management idea, appeared with the example by leadership factor. Second. The enterprise culture factor who causes an effect in the promotion factor of duty satisfaction appeared with the all feeling factor of system. Third. The enterprise culture factor who causes an effect in the wages factor of duty satisfaction appeared with the all feeling factor of system. Fourth. The enterprise culture factor who causes an effect in the duty form factor or duty satisfaction clearness or example by leadership and belief, duty affirmation appeared with the factor. Fifth. The enterprise culture factor who causes an effect in the service environment factor of duty satisfaction appeared with the all feeling factor of system. Conclusion the enterprise culture appeared with the fact that it causes an effect duty satisfactorily.

In this paper. we present a definition of the term virtual enterprise (VE) and discuss some related terms and concepts. The definition was given based on Porter's Value Chain Theory. Then we discuss some positioning strategies for entering or joining a virtual enterprise from an executive's viewpoint. which show a framework for making decisions on for what. when and how a (real) enterprise need to participate or form a virtual enterprise and whom the partners should be. The major pert of the paper is on underlying information technologies and architectures for building virtual enterprises. Requirements for modeling virtual enterprises and core technologies needed for implementation are discussed. A virtual enterprise reference architecture based on NIIIP's model is presented. Finally we discuss some points that should. addressed from a macroeconomic and public policies viewpoints. These are the issues of IT standardization and investments in IT infrastructure.

To increase the productivity and efficiency of an enterprise, all relevant product information should be provided to shop floor workers timely and in a unified form because shop floor workers are final consumers of most accumulated information generated from various departments of an enterprise. but, most existing enterprise information systems have an emphasis upon providing design/manufacturing information to office workers. Proposed in this study is a development of integrated design/manufacturing information system focused system, the function required for shop floor activities. For developing integrated information system, the functional required for shop floor are identified and analyzed. Based on the extracted functional requirements, object-oriented system design and implementation is conducted. By using this system, shop floor workers can refer to all relevant information necessary to their work easily and in a integrated form.

The network weather map and bandwidth time-series graph are popularly used to understand the current and past traffic condition of NSP, ISP, and enterprise networks. These systems collect traffic performance data from a SNMP agent running on the network devices such as routers and switches, store the gathered information into a DB, and display the network performance status in the form of a time-series graph or a network weather map using Web user interface. Most of current enterprise networks are constructed in the form of a hierarchical tree-like structure with multi-Gbps Ethernet links, which is quietly different from the national or world-wide backbone network structure. This paper focuses on the network weather map for current enterprise network. We start with the considering points in developing a network weather map system suitable for enterprise network. Based on these considerings, this paper proposes the best way of using SNMP in constructing a network weather map system. To prove our idea, we designed and developed a network weather map system for our campus network, which is also described in detail.

A benefit-oriented socio-economic system causes environmental problems that become obvious and more serious on the earth. Therefore, every country in the world is making various efforts to solve serious environmental issues for making the sustainable society. And it is thought that environmental education should play a key role to make the efforts fruitful. Especially, enterprises should be given an important role on environmental education in the future society. This study inquires present activities done by enterprises on environmental education analyze their achievement and aims to clarify the role and prospects on environmental education in the future that the enterprise should carry out. The major results of this research are as follows; First, The approach form of the enterprise concerning environmental education can be classified into four stages, namely 'beginning stage', 'evolution stage', 'development stage' and 'partnership stage'. Present activities on environmental education have not been reached there though 'partnership stage' will be necessary for the sustainable society. Second, In the execution of environmental education, it independently works on environmental education in the enterprise that strongly recognizes the importance of environmental communication with citizens. In other words, it can be said a leading enterprise concerning environmental education, Third, Recognition of the enterprise concerning the importance of environmental education again and the establishment of the positive posture are important.

The description of enterprise activities is the basis fur process improvement and information system building. To describe such activities, it is necessary to model the enterprise activities from the abstraction level to the implementation level in a stepwise and integrated form. For this reason, several modeling approaches have been proposed. However, most of them lacked the stepwise or integration aspects although some of them covered overall levels. This study proposes the hierarchical modeling approach for integrating the enterprise activity model from the abstraction level to the implementation level systematically. It is composed of five modeling levels such as function level, process level, task level, document workflow level, and event flow level. This study discusses the definition and characteristics of each level and compare our modeling frame with other modeling methodologies in case study.
