Purposes: The purposes of this study were to identify the level of knowledge of good posture and postural habits among elementary school children and to identify the relationship between knowledge of good posture and postural habits. Method: A descriptive correlational study was conducted. The participants were 507 elementary school children in Jangheung County. Data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. Descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, and correlation were used for data analysis. Results: The percentage of correct answer for the knowledge test was 65.83%. Postural habits were not good. Although the strength of correlation was low, there is a statistically significant positive correlation between knowledge and postural habits. Not only school health nurses but also class teachers and parents played important roles in spinal health education. Educational needs for spinal health are high. Conclusion: Although more research in this area is warranted, there is a pressing need for interventions aimed at developing healthy habits that promote postural hygiene among elementary school children. Development and evaluation of back education programs in elementary school is necessary.
Purpose: This study aimed to investigate perceptions of child abuse and factors influencing those perceptions among nursing students. Methods: A descriptive research design was used with a convenience sample of 669 nursing students. Data was collected from September 1 to 25, 2016 using self-report questionnaires and analyzed with descriptive statistics, the t-test, analysis of variance, the Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis in SPSS for Windows version 21.0. Results: The mean score for perceptions of child abuse was $3.52{\pm}0.41$, and the scores by subcategory were as follows: physical abuse, $3.61{\pm}0.39$; emotional abuse, $3.54{\pm}0.53$; neglect, $3.17{\pm}0.69$; sexual abuse, $3.85{\pm}0.35$. A significant correlation was found between perceptions of child abuse and parental acceptance-rejection attitude (warmth/affection, indifference/neglect, undifferentiated rejection). The factors influencing perceptions of child abuse were gender, experiences of child abuse, and perceived parental attitudes of warmth/affection and undifferentiated rejection, which explained 5.1% of the variances. Conclusion: Based on the finding of this study, educational programs and guidelines should be developed to help nursing students improve their perceptions of child abuse.

The data was collected from 1 July to 30 July 2012. 284 students in College and University located in Gyeongsangbuk-do. This data were analyzed by SAS 9.2 program using descriptive statistics, frequency, T-test, ANOVA, and Correlation analysis. The results were as follows. First, there was a difference between male and female in the level of stress, it was statistically significant(p<0.0001). Second, there was a remarkable difference in the level of stress between University and College students(p=0.0001). Third, in the evaluation of correlation, relation between study factor and career factor was statistically significant(0.59, p<0.001). However there was no positive correlation between the five stress-induced factors and problem-based handling way of stress. The present study was implemented to understand high school girls' buying patterns of fashion products at online and offline shopping malls; and to obtain the information needed for the development of online and offline mall marketing strategies that are differentiated from each other. The study was conducted through a descriptive survey method using questionnaires. The sample consisted of 242 girls from four high schools located in Seoul. Results are as follows: First, most of the high school girls (82.2%) had experience of purchasing fashion products at online shopping malls. And, those who have purchasing experience at online shopping malls, compared to those who do not have such purchasing experience, showed a higher purchasing intension at online shopping malls. Methods: The research was a cross-sectional, descriptive design using questionnaires. The participants were 147 older adult patients with diabetes mellitus receiving insulin therapy. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA and multiple regression with SPSS statistics 19.0 program. Results: Participants' self-care behaviors related to insulin therapy were not adequate. Stepwise multiple regression analysis for self-care behaviors related to insulin therapy revealed that the most powerful predictor was self-efficacy. Self-efficacy, family support and frequency of blood sugar test explained 54.4% of the variance in self-care behaviors related to insulin therapy.
