편향각과 전단각이 탄소섬유/에폭시 평직 복합재료의 압축특성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Bias and Shear Angles on Compressive Characteristics of Carbon/Epoxy Plain Weave Fabrics)

  • Various compressive specimens were fabricated using autoclave do-gassing moulding to find out the compressive characteristics of the carbon/epoxy plain weave fabric composites with respect to the bias and shear angles. The stacking angles of the bias specimens are $[0]_{10T,}\;[3]_{10T,}\;[6]_{10T,}\;[9]_{10T,}\;[12]_{10T,}\;[15]_{10T,}\;[30]_{10T,}\;[45]_{10T}$ and those of the sheared specimens are $[{\pm}37]_{10T,}\;[{\pm}32]_{10T,}\;[{\pm}28]_{10T,}\;[{\pm}22]_{10T,}$ respectively. In order to verify the effect of micro-tow structures on compressive strength and modulus of the composites, compressive test specimens of uni-directional carbon/epoxy composites with the same materials and the same stacking conditions were fabricated. The modulus and strength of both types of composite specimens were compared with the prediction results based on the CLPT and a proposed strength formula. The tow deformation and fracture modes were investigated by microscopic observation.

SOI-MOSFET의 고온 동작에 관한 연구 (A Study on High Temperature Operation of SOI-MOSFET)

  • The substrate bias effect on the current level of SOI-MOSFETs for high temperature operation has been investigated. In this work, we demonstrate the current level of SOI-MOSFETs can be controlled at different temperatures by applying a control bias to the substrate, showing that all current levels below T=150$^{\circ}C$ can be adjusted to a constant current level. 2D numerical simulation results show that substrate bias effectively controls the current conduction; as the substrate bias effectively lower the potential of the channel, inversion carrier generation is effectively controlled and consequently a constant current conduction level is achieved up to T=150$^{\circ}C$. We also demonstrate that the device simulated in this work has same operation at any temperature below T=150$^{\circ}C$ through mixed mode simulation.

Codon Usage Bias and Determining Forces in Taenia solium Genome

  • The tapeworm Taenia solium is an important human zoonotic parasite that causes great economic loss and also endangers public health. At present, an effective vaccine that will prevent infection and chemotherapy without any side effect remains to be developed. In this study, codon usage patterns in the T. solium genome were examined through 8,484 protein-coding genes. Neutrality analysis showed that T. solium had a narrow GC distribution, and a significant correlation was observed between GC12 and GC3. Examination of an NC (ENC vs GC3s)-plot showed a few genes on or close to the expected curve, but the majority of points with low-ENC (the effective number of codons) values were detected below the expected curve, suggesting that mutational bias plays a major role in shaping codon usage. The Parity Rule 2 plot (PR2) analysis showed that GC and AT were not used proportionally. We also identified 26 optimal codons in the T. solium genome, all of which ended with either a G or C residue. These optimal codons in the T. solium genome are likely consistent with tRNAs that are highly expressed in the cell, suggesting that mutational and translational selection forces are probably driving factors of codon usage bias in the T. solium genome.

Design and Implementation of a Single Bias FET Source Mixer

  • A new type of FET source mixer with a single bias voltage has been presented. It is designed to operate at Vds=0 [V] with only one positive supply voltage, which makes mixer circuits simple. The proposed mixer has shown improved stability and less sensitivity to both bias and LO power compared with conventional active mixers. It also shows lower conversion loss than that of diode mixers. The minimum conversion loss measured at RF frequency of 5.6㎓ is 0.6㏈ for a LO frequency of 5.8㎓.

Sensitivity of an Anisotropic Magnetoresistance Device with Different Bias Conditions

  • A micromagnetic model and a single-domain model simulation programs were used to analyze the sensitivity of a $20\mu m\times 60\mu m \times 1000{\AA}$ permalloy strip as a magnetoresistance sensor with bias fields of various directions and magnitudes. The micromagnetic model agrees with the measured sensitivity data better than the single-domain model. The data show the highest peak sensitivity with the bias field at 90$^{\circ}$to the current. The peak sensitivity decreases and the peak broadens as the bias angle decreases. The simulation using the micromagnetic model shows that a bias angle smaller than 90$^{\circ}$eads to magnetization patterns which are free from closure domains or vertices over a wider range of bias fields.

우리나라 기후 재현성을 중심으로 한 GCMs 평가 (GCMs Evaluation Focused on Korean Climate Reproducibility)

  • In this study 17 GCMs' simulations of late 20th century climate in Korea are examined. A regionally averaged time series formed by averaging the temperature and precipitation values at all the Korean grid points. In order to compare general circulation models with observations, observed spatially averaged temperature and precipitation is calculated using 24 stations for 1971 to 2000. The annual mean difference between models and observed data are compared. For temperature, most models have a slight cold bias. The models with least bias in annual average temperature are NIES(MIROC3.2 hires), GISS(AOM) and INGV(SXG2005). For precipitation, almost all models have a dry bias, and for some the bias exceeds 50%. Models with lowest bias are NIES(MIROC3.2 hires), CCCma(CGCM3-T47) and MPI-M(ECHAM5-OM). The models' simulated seasonal cycles show that for temperature, CSIRO(Mk3.0) has the best followed by CCCma(CGCM3-T47) and CCCma(CGCM3-T63), and for precipitation, NIES(MIROC3.2 hires) has the best followed by CSIRO(Mk3.0) and CNRM(CM3). In the assessment using Taylor diagram, CCCma(CGCM3-T47) ranks the best for temperature, and NIES(MIROC3.2 hires) ranks the best for precipitation.

동아시아 지역의 AOGCM 불확실성 평가 및 미래기후전망 (An Uncertainty Assessment of AOGCM and Future Projection over East Asia)

  • In this paper, future climate changes over East Asia($20^{\circ}{\sim}50^{\circ}N$, $100^{\circ}{\sim}150^{\circ}E$) are projected by anthropogenic forcing of greenhouse gases and aerosols using coupled atmosphere-ocean general circulation model (AOGCM) simulations based on Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) Special Report on Emissions Scenarios (SRES) B1, A1B and A2 scenarios. Before projection future climate, model performance is assessed by the $20^{th}$ Century (20C3M) experiment with bias, root Mean Square Error (RMSE), ratio of standard deviation, Taylor diagram analysis. The result of examination of the seasonal uncertainty of T2m and PCP shows that cold bias, lowered than that of observation, of T2m and wet bias, larger than that of observation, of PCP are found over East Asia. The largest wet bias is found in winter and the largest cold bias is found in summer. The RMSE of temperature in the annual mean increases and this trend happens in winter, too. That is, higher resolution model shows generally better performances in simulation T2m and PCP. Based on IPCC SRES scenarios, East Asia will experience warmer and wetter climate in the coming $21^{st}$ century. It is predict the T2m increase in East Asia is larger than global mean temperature. As the latitude goes high, the warming over the continents of East Asia showed much more increase than that over the ocean. An enhanced land-sea contrast is proposed as a possible mechanism of the intensified Asian summer monsoon. But, the inter-model variability in PCP changes is large.

사회불안장애의 해석편향 연구: 컴퓨터 기반 해석편향 프로그램 개발 및 효과검증 (Interpretation bias modification for social anxiety disorder: Development of computer based cognitive modification program)

  • 본 연구에서는 컴퓨터 기반의 인지편향수정 프로그램(Cognitive Bias Modification Program - Interpretation, CBM-I)을 이용하여 사회불안 경향이 있는 대학생들을 위한 해석편향 수정 프로그램을 개발하고, 이 프로그램이 사회불안증상 및 해석편향 변화에 미치는 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 40명의 사회불안 경향성자들을 긍정해석 훈련집단((n=21)과 비처치대기집단((n=19)에 배정하였고 치료 전후 해석 편향과 사회불안증상 수준(e.g. 부정적 평가에 대한 두려움 척도, 레보위츠 사회불안 척도)을 비교하였다. CBM-I 훈련은 참가자들이 긍정적인 방식으로 모호한 상황을 해석하면 긍정적 피드백을 제공하고, 부정적인 방식으로 해석하면 부정적 피드백을 제공하는 방식으로 진행되었으며, 긍정해석 훈련집단의 경우 3주간 3번의 회기에 참가하였다. 사후분석에서 긍정훈련 조건에 참가한 내담자들의 자기 보고식 사회불안 증상이 감소하였다(t=2.35, p<.05; t=4.70, p<.001). 이러한 결과는 다중회기로 실시된 해석 편향의 수정이 임상적으로 유용할 수 있음을 시사한다.

바이어스 타이밍 기법을 이용하여 송수신 격리도가 개선된 소형 송수신 모듈 (Compact T/R Module Having Improved T/R Isolation Using a Bias Timing Scheme)

  • 송수신(T/R) 모듈은 능동 위상 배열 시스템에서 핵심 부품이다. 현재 가장 널리 적용되고 있는 모듈 구조는 Brick 형태로서 이를 소형화 하는 것은 전체 시스템 구성의 유연성을 확보할 수 있는 중요한 요소가 된다. 소형화를 위하여 MMIC 갯수를 최소화 할 수 있는 Common leg 구조를 갖는 MFC(Multi Fuction Chip) 사용이 유리하며, 이득이 높은 T/R 모듈을 고밀도로 구현하기 위하여 송수신간 격리도의 확보가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 Common leg 구조에서 불가피하게 발생하는 궤환 경로 문제와 이로 인한 송수신 격리도의 한계를 개선하기 위하여 바이어스 전압 제어 방법을 제안하고, 측정 결과를 기반으로 최적 바이어스 타이밍을 설계하였다. 본 논문에서 제작/측정된 TR 모듈은 일반 T/R 모듈에 비하여 약 1/2의 크기($140{\times}80{\times}16mm^3$)를 가지며, 높은 출력(채널당 7 W)과 높은 송수신 이득(35 dB 송신 이득과 30 dB 수신 이득)의 구현이 가능하였다.

Enhancement program of social information processing based on metacognitive training for Schizophrenia patients

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of applying a program to enhance social information processing ability in schizophrenic patients. We confirmed the positive effects of the program on the theories of mind and attribution style, which are the social information elements of patients, and confirmed the effect of decreasing paranoid ideation. We used the theory of mind(hinting task, the false belief task), the attributional style questionnaire(external bias, personal bias), and the paranoia scale to test the effectiveness of the program. Specifically, in theory of mind, hinting task performance was improved(t=4.14, p=.000),. The scores of personal bias(t=-7.9, p=.000) and paranoid ideation(t=-2.98, p=.004) decreased. Further research is needed to verify the effectiveness of meta - cognitive training to enhance social information processing.
