The inhibitory effects of Curcuma longa rhizome-derived materials against nitric oxide (NO) production were assessed. The inhibitory effect (57%) on NO production was evidenced by the methanol extract of C. longa at $1\;{\mu}g/mL$. In the fractionation of the methanol extract, the ethyl acetate fraction evidenced an inhibitory effect greater than 62.1% at $1\;{\mu}g/mL$. The active constituent was identified as curcumin. Curcumin exerted potent inhibitory effects of 78.7 and 65.7% at concentrations of 1 and $0.5\;{\mu}g/mL$, respectively. Furthermore, the inhibitory effect of ar-turmerone was measured as 31.3 and 15.8% at 1 and $0.5\;{\mu}g/mL$, respectively. The iNOS expression-suppressive effects of curcumin were assessed via western blot analysis. Our results suggest that curcumin and ar-turmerone may prove useful in the development of new types of NO inhibitors.

U.S. Obama government is submit a motion to consider cyber attacks on State as a war. 7.7DDoS attack in Korea in 2009 and 3.4 DDoS attacks 2011, the country can be considered about cyber attacks. China hackers access a third country, bypassing South Korea IP by hacking the e-commerce sites with fake account, that incident was damaging finance. In this paper, for WiBro service, DDoS attacks, hackers, security incidents and vulnerabilities to the analysis. From hacker's attack, WiBro service's prognostic relevance by analyzing symptoms and attacks, in real time, Divide Red, Orange, Yellow, Green belonging to the risk rating. For hackers to create a blacklist, to defend against attacks in real-time air-conditioning system is the study of security. WiBro networks for incident tracking and detection after the packets through the national incident response should contribute to the development of technology.
Thirty-two methanol extracts of thirty-one Vietnamese medicinal plants were evaluated for the cytotoxic activity against five human cancer cell lines, including A549, MCF-7, HT 1080, Huh-7, and HepG2. Of these, the nine extracts of Acanthopanax trifoliatus (4), Acanthopanax gracilistylus (5), Siegesbeckia orientalis (10), Betula alnoides (11), Passiflora edulis (18), Zanthoxylum simulans (leaf, 23), Adenosma caeruleum (26), Solanum verbascifolium (29), and Alpinia malaccensis (31), exhibited high potent cytotoxic activity showing a certain degree of selectivity against the different cell types, with $IC_{50}$ values ranging from 2.1 to $3.8\;{\mu}g/mL$.
Chikungunya fever has a high morbidity rate in humans and is caused by chikungunya virus. There are no treatments available until now for this particular viral disease. The present study was carried out by selecting 19 flavonoids, which are available naturally in fruits, vegetables, tea, red wine and medicinal plants. The molecular docking of selected 19 flavonoids was carried out against the Chikungunya virus capsid protein using the Autodock4.2 software. Binding affinity analysis based on the Intermolecular interactions such as Hydrogen bonding and hydrophobic interactions and drug-likeness properties for all the 19 flavonoids have been carried out and it is found that the top four molecules are Chrysin, Fisetin, Naringenin and Biochanin A as they fit to the chikungunya protein and have binding energy of -8.09, -8.01, -7.6, and 7.3 kcal/mol respectively. This result opens up the possibility of applying these compounds in the inhibition of chikungunya viral protein.

The solvent extracts of Houttuynia cordata root, which were extracted by using several solvents with different polarities, were prepared for utility as a natural preservatives. The antimicrobial activity was investigated by disc diffusion method against 22 microorganisms consisting of food borne pathogens, food poisioning microorganisms and food-related bacteria. The extraction yields were 15.7%, 3.7%, 0.13%, 0.5% and 5.9% in ethanol, chloroform ethylacetate, butanol and aqueous fractions, respectively. Antimicrobial activities were shown in ethanol, ethylacetate and butanol fraction of Houttuynia cordata root. However chloroform and aqueous fractions showed weak antimicrobial activity against the tested bacteria. Among the four fractions, ethylacetate fraction showed the strongest antimicrobial activities against microorganisms tested, such as B. megaterium, E. coli, K. pneumoniae and S. typhimurium. The polyphenolic compounds widely occuring in the traditional medicine plants have been reported to possess high antimicrobial activity. The polyphenolic compound in ethylacetate and butanol fraction were 35.9% and 16.0%, ethanol, chloroform and aqueous fraction were 5.0%, 2.3% and 1.7%, respectively. There are some relationship between antimicrobial activity and polyphenol content in natural plants. The ethylacetate fraction could be suitable for the development of a food preservative.
The purpose of this study is to determine whether nitric oxide is involved in the extracellular killing of Trichomoncs uasinalis by mouse (BALB/c) peritoneal macrophages and RAW264.7 cells activated with LPS or rIFN-γ and also to observe the effects of various chemicals which affect the production of reactive nitrogen intermediates (RNl) in the cytotoxicity against T. vnginnlis. The cytotoxicity was measured by counting the release of (3H)-thymidine from labelled protozoa and NOa was assayed by Griess reaction. Nemonomethyl-L-arginine (L-NMHA), Nenitro-L-arginine methyl ester (NAME) and arginase inhibited cytotoxicity to T. vaginnlis and nitrite production by activated mouse perioneal macrophagrs and RAW 264.7 cells. The addition of excess L-arginine competitively restored trichomonacidal activity of macrophages. Exogenous addition of FeSO4 inhibited cytotoxicity to T. vaginaLis and nitric products of macrophages. From above results, it is assumed that nitric oxide plays an important role in the host defense mechanism of macrophages against T ucfinalis.
A new naturally occurring sterol, compound 5, and six known stigmasterols were isolated from fruits of Ailanthus altissima Swingle by repeated column chromatography and RP-HPLC. Their structures were identified as, 5${\alpha}$-stigmastane-3,6-dione (1), 3${\beta}$-hydroxystigmast-5-en-7-one (2), stigmast-5-ene-3${\beta}$, 7${\alpha}$-diol (3), 6${\alpha}$-hydroxystigmast-4-en-3-one (4), 5${\alpha}$-stigmastane-3${\beta}$, 6${\beta}$-diol (5), stigmast-4-ene-3${\beta}$, 6${\alpha}$-diol (6), stigmast-5-ene-3${\beta}$, 7${\alpha}$, 20$\xi$-triol (7) by spectral analysis and comparison with the published data. These compounds have not been reported from genus Ailanthus, whereas compound 7 was identified by NMR for the first time. In addition, the $95\%$ ethanol extract and compounds from the fruits of Ailanthus altissima SWINGLE were assayed for in vitro antimicrobial activity. The extract was potent active against the assayed bacteria while compounds 3 and 7 exhibited moderate activity.
In vivo antifungal activity of 44 fungicides consisting of 3 clubroot fungicides, 7 Oomycetes fungicides, 7 botriticides, 7 blasticides, 9 sterol biosynthesis inhibitors, and 11 broad spectrum fungicides were investigated against Plamodiophora brassicae, the causal agent of clubroot disease in Chinese cabbage. When fluazinam, flusulfamide and cyazofamid, commercial fungicide to control clubroot of Chinese cabbage in Korea, were applied to infested soil, club formations by P. brassicae were strongly inhibited at pot (35 $cm^2$) per 0.63 mg. Ethaboxam and cymoxanil, Oomycetes fungicides, completely controlled Chinese cabbage clubroot at 5 mg/pot, but cymoxanil represented sever phytotoxicity. Besides, dichlofluanid and procymidone of botriticides effectively controlled the development of Chinese cabbage clubroot at 2.5 mg/pot. Chlorothalonil, quintozene and trichlamide, broad spectrum fungicides, showed disease-control efficacy of 85%, 100% and 100% at 2.5 mg/pot, respectively. Most of sterol biosynthesis inhibitors displayed the strong antifungal activity against P. brassicae on cabbage seedlings and plant growth -retarding activity. From these results, 7 fungicides were selected and further tested in vivo antifungal activity against P. brassicae in glasshouse. Among them, ethaboxam showed the most antifungal activity against P. brassicae on cabbage seedlings, followed by fenarimol, procymidone, nuarimol and chlorothalonil.
