양이온 교환체에서 희토류원소와 $\alpha$-Hydroxyisobutyric Acid 착물들의 머무름 거동에 관한 연구 (Retention Behavior of Lanthanide Complexes with $\alpha$ -hydroxyisobutyric Acid on Cation Exchanger)

  • 양이온 교환체 (LC-18 coated with $C_{20}H_{41}SO_4^-$)에서 희토류원소-$\alpha$HiBA 착물계의 머무름 거동을 연구하였다. [Na$^+$] 및 [$\alpha$-HiBA]의 등용매 또는 기울기 용리에 따른 희토류원소의 머무름을 나타내는 관계식을 이온 교환 평형식으로부터 유도하였다. [$Na+$] 및 [$\alpha$-HiBA]의 등용매 용리에 따른 크기성질(k')의 관계인 log k' vs log [$Na^+$] 및 log k' vs log [$\alpha$-HiBA]의 직선의 기울기 값에 대한 실험값과 계산값을 비교한 결과 서로 일치하였다. 위의 관계식으로부터 비선형 최소자승법으로 각 개별 착물들의 크기성질($k'_{Ln}^{3+}, k'_{LnL}^{2+}, k'{LnL2+}) 및 착물의 안정도 상수(${\beta}_1$, ${\beta}_2$, ${\beta}_3$)를 각각 구하였다. 희토류원소들의 크기성질(k')에 대한 실험값과 계산값의 상관계수가 0.9996보다 좋은 결과를 나타내었다.

  • Y, Er, Yb, Ba 및 Cu를 각각 포함하는 유기금속 화합물인 2-Ethylhexanoate 화합물을 합성하였다. 합성된 유기금속화합물들은 모두 공통용매에 녹아 균일혼합물을 형성하였으며 이들을 원료물질로 하여 고온초전도체 $YBa_2Cu_3O_{7-\delta}(Y_{123})$, $ErBa_2Cu_3O_{7-\delta}(Er_{123})$$YbBa_2Cu_3O_{7-\delta}(Yb_{123})$를 제조하였다. X-선 회절분석결과 이들은 단일상이 아니었으며 $YBa_2Cu_4O_8(Y_{124})$를 포함한 약간씩의 불순물상을 포함하고 있었고, 이것은 자화율 측정에서도 확인되었다. Ceramic method로 제조한 시료에 비하여 임계온도가 대체로 높았으며, 부피반자성자화율은 큰 변화가 없는 것으로 판단된다.

  • The microwave dielectric properties of The Dielectric Properties of $Ba_{1-x}$A$_{x}$(Mg$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_3$ (A = Sr, Ca, x = 0, 0.2 ,0.4 ,0.6, 0.8, 1.0) were investigated. In composition of $Ba_{1-x}$A$_{x}$(Mg$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O, densities are decreased with increasing x values. Grain sizes are decreased with Sr content and Increased with Ca content. The hexagonally ordered superstructure was observed in $Ba_{1-x}$Sr$_{x}$(Mg$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_3$(BSMN) systems, the intensity of superlattice increased with x value. In $Ba_{1-x}$Cr$_{x}$(Mg$_{1}$3/Nb$_{2}$3/)O$_3$(BSMN) systems, the additional diffraction patterns were shown. The highest value of $\varepsilon$$_{r}$ was shown in x=0.2 of BCMN systems and the value was 41.9. The highest Q$\times$f was shown in x=0.2 of BSMN systems and the value was 68,000. $\tau$$_{f}$ were shown 0 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ near x=0.8.TEX> near x=0.8.0.8.

MMA/BA의 단량체 비에 따른 폴리머 시멘트 모르타르의 강도 및 내구성 (Strength and Durability of Polymer Modified Mortar according to Monomer Ratio of Methyl Methacrylate and Butyl Acrylate)

  • 본 연구에서는 MMA(methyl methacrylate)와 BA(buthyl acrylate)를 단량체로 이용한 폴리머 시멘트 모르타르의 단량체 비에 따른 성질을 파악하고 시멘트 혼화용 폴리머로 활용하기 위한 기초적 자료를 얻고자 하였다. 본 연구결과 MMA/BA를 이용한 폴리머 시멘트 모르타르의 전 세공용적은 MMA/BA의 단량체 비가 증가할수록 감소하는 것으로 나타났다. 강도특성에서는 전체적으로 MMA/BA의 단량체 비가 70 : 30, 그리고 80 : 20일 때, 폴리머 시멘트 비가 15%일 때 가장 우수한 증진효과를 나타냈다. 폴리머 시멘트 모르타르의 내구성을 측정하는 흡수율, 염화물 이온 침투 저항성, 중성화 저항성에서는 단량체 비에 따른 개선보다는 폴리머 시멘트 비에 따른 개선효과가 더 큰 것으로 나타났다.

Hot Wall Epitaxy(HWE)법에 의한 BaAl2Se4 단결정 박막 성장과 광전도 특성 (Growth and Optical Conductivity Properties for BaAl2Se4 Single Crystal Thin Film by Hot Wall Epitaxy)

  • A stoichiometric mixture of evaporating materials for $BaAl_2Se_4$ single crystal thin films was prepared from horizontal electric furnace. To obtain the single crystal thin films, $BaAl_2Se_4$ mixed crystal was deposited on thoroughly etched semi-insulating GaAs(100) substrate by the Hot Wall Epitaxy (HWE) system. The source and substrate temperatures were $610^{\circ}C$ and $410^{\circ}C$, respectively. The crystalline structure of the single crystal thin films was investigated by the photoluminescence and double crystal X-ray diffraction (DCXD). The carrier density and mobility of $BaAl_2Se_4$ single crystal thin films measured from Hall effect by van der Pauw method are $8.29{\times}10^{-16}cm^{-3}$ and $278cm^2/vs$ at 293 K, respectively. The temperature dependence of the energy band gap of the $BaAl_2Se_4$ obtained from the absorption spectra was well described by the Varshni's relation, $E_g(T)=3.4205eV-(4.3112{\times}10^{-4}eV/K)T^2/(T+232 K)$. The crystal field and the spin-orbit splitting energies for the valence band of the $BaAl_2Se_4$ have been estimated to be 249.4 meV and 263.4 meV, respectively, by means of the photocurrent spectra and the Hopfield quasicubic model. These results indicate that the splitting of the ${\Delta}so$ definitely exists in the ${\Gamma}_5$ states of the valence band of the $BaAl_2Se_4/GaAs$ epilayer. The three photocurrent peaks observed at 10 K are ascribed to the $A_1$-, $B_1$-exciton for n =1 and $C_{31}$-exciton peaks for n=31.

Effect of Phytohormones on Multiple Shoot Bud Induction in cv. NARI-6 of Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.)

  • In the present study, in vitro multiple shoot induction was achieved from cotyledonary node and stem nodal explants of cv. NARI-6 of safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.). Among various growth regulators tested, MS salts and B5 vitamins supplemented with BA (6-Benzy-laminopurine) $17.76\;{\mu}M$ and KN (Kinetin) $6.96\;{\mu}M$ phytohormonal combination was found to be the most effective in initiating numerous shoot buds after 30 days of culture than BA ($4.44-44.39\;{\mu}M$) or KN ($2.32-46.40\;{\mu}M$) alone in the medium. In addition, 0.8% (w/v) agar (Hi-media) and 3.0% sucrose (w/v) was the optimum level for the formation of adventitious shoots. Further results showed the maximum shoot elongation occurred on MS medium with BA ($8.88\;{\mu}M$) and $GA_3$($11.56\;{\mu}M$) combinations. Efficient rooting occurred on quarter strength MS medium with NAA $10.74\;{\mu}M$. The regenerated plantlets were acclimatized and successfully transferred to the field.

Dispersion stability of ultra-fine $BaTiO_3$ suspensions in aqueous medium

  • The effect of pH and particle size on the dispersion stability of ultra-fine $BaTiO_3$ suspensions in aqueous medium have been investigated by means of zeta potential, sediment experiments, and powder properties (particle analysis, specific surface area) etc. Zeta potential as a function of pH for two particles of different size increases from -75 to +10 mV with decreasing pH from 8.5 to 1.4. The curve of zeta potential for small particle (150 nm) has slow slope than that of large particle (900nm), giving IEP (isoelectric point) value of pH=1.6 for small particle and pH=1.9 for large particle respectively, which means that it is more difficult to control zeta potential with pH fur small particle than large particle. The dispersion stability of $BaTiO_3$ particles in aqueous medium was found to be strongly related with the agglomeration of colloidal suspensions with time through the sedimentation behaviors of colloidal particles with time and pH value.

촉매제에 의한 BaTi-에톡사이드 솔의 옥소폴리머 변화에 대한 저각 X선 산란연구 (Small Angle X-Ray Scattering Study on the Oxopolymer Variations of BaTi-ethoxide Sol by Catalysts)

  • BaTi-에톡사이드로 부터 유도된 솔의 옥소폴리머에 대하여 저각 X선 산란을 이용하여 조사하였다. NH, OH를 사용하거나 혹은 촉매제가 없이 얻어진 솔에서 옥소폴리머 구조의 성장은 비슷하다. 이 솔들의 선회반경은 1.66-2.08nm이다. 이들은 차원 값이 1.6인 질량 프락탈의 거동을 따르며 이 거동은 NH40H 첨가량에 는 거의 무관하다. CHSCOOH를 촉매로 사용하여 얻은 솔의 선회반경은 2.87-3.67nm로서 염기성 촉매 혹은 촉매없이 얻은 솔에 비해 보다 큰 값을 가진다 이들 솔의 산란곡선은 중간 Q 영역에서 비슷하며 프락탈 차원은 1.8이다. 염기성 혹은 중성 수화조건으로 부터 얻 은 솔의 윽소폴리머는 짧은 사슬형 구조를 가질 것이나 산성 수화조건에서는 이들은 보다 분기되고 길어지는 사슬형으로 성장되는 경향을 가진다.

  • We investigated the structural and electrical properties of Ce-doped Ba($Zr_{0.2}Ti_{0.8}$)$O_3$(BCZT) thin films with a mole fraction of x=0.2 and a thickness about 100 nm. BCZT films were prepared on Pt/Ti/$SiO_2$/Si substrate by a RF magnetron sputtering system. We have measured the thickness profile with Ar/$O_2$ ratio and the surface roughness. It was observed that the oxygen gas, which introduced during the film deposition, have an influence on the roughness of the film and the film roughness was reduced by annealing from 2.33 nm to 2.02 m (RMS at $500^{\circ}C$, Ar:6 scrim, $O_2$:6 sccm). We have found that annealing procedure after top electrode deposit can reduce the dissipation factor.

  • Dielectric properties and the stabilization of perovskite phase for the (1-y)Pb(Mg(1-x)/3Znx/3Znx/3Nb2/3)O3-yBaTiO3 ((1-y)PM1-xZxN-yBT) ceramics have been investigated as a function of amount of x and y. In the (1-y)PM0.6Z0.4N-yBT ceramics, the amount of pyrochlore phae was decreased by the addition of 2 mol% BT and the dielectric constant was increased. However, the dielectric constant decreased with further addition of BT even though pyrochlore phase was decreased. Dielectric prooperties in (1-y)PM0.6Z0.4N-yBT ceracmis were affected by the character of the BT rather than the amount of pyrochlore phase. The phase transitions were broadened and phase transition temperatures were lowered by the increase of BT contents.
