In this paper we present a new variant of the Euler-Chebyshev method for solving nonlinear equations. Analysis of convergence is given to show that the presented methods are at least fifth-order convergent. Several numerical examples are given to illustrate that newly presented methods can be competitive to other known fifth-order methods and the Newton method in the efficiency and performance.
Mathematical analysis is made on a mesh free method for the compressible Euler equations. In particular, the Moving Least Square Reproducing Kernel (MLSRK) method is employed for space approximation. With the backward-Euler method used for time discretization, existence of discrete solution and it's $L^2-error$ estimate are obtained under a regularity assumption of the continuous solution. The result of numerical experiment made on the biconvex airfoil is presented.

In the recent years, power attacks were widely investigated, and so various countermeasures have been proposed, In the case of block ciphers, masking methods that blind the intermediate values in the algorithm computations(encryption, decryption, and key-schedule) are well-known among these countermeasures. But the cost of non-linear part is extremely high in the masking method of block cipher, and so the inversion of S-box is the most significant part in the case of AES. This fact make various countermeasures be proposed for reducing the cost of masking inversion and Zakeri's method using normal bases over the composite field is known to be most efficient algorithm among these masking method. We rearrange the masking inversion operation over the composite field and so can find duplicated multiplications. Because of these duplicated multiplications, our method can reduce about 10.5% gates in comparison with Zakeri's method.
Cemented Sand and Gravel (C.S.G) method has become increasingly popular in Japan and throughout the world as a construction method and material. This method is favorably used for cofferdam and large dam because a quarry and aggregate plant facility can be diminished. Also, this method can reduce construction cost, work duration and destruction of environment. In this paper, a methodology for C.S.G mix design based on so-called soil mechanics approach is proposed for trapezoid-shaped dam. The methodology consists of selection of a suitable aggregate, introduction of compaction method, processing to prepare standard specimens, and determination of mix portions. Also, unconfined compressive strength tests and large triaxial compression tests are performed. From the results of the test, correlation equation among strength, elastic modulus and unit cement is proposed.

This paper presents a new winding method in electronic descaling (ED) technology. Conventional ED technology Produces an oscillating electric field via Faraday's law to provide the necessary molecular agitation to dissolve mineral ions. However, the proposed method produces an additional agitation force for mineral ions, called Lorentz's force. Experiments were performed using various Renolds numbers. A series of tests was conducted to measure the pressure drop across the test section and the overall heat transfer coefficient as a function of time. In order to accelerate the rate of fouling, artificial hard water, 1000ppm CaCO$_3$, was used throughout the tests. The results show that the new winding method accelerates the collision of the mineral ions, thereby improving the system efficiency. The present study can develope more effective fouling-removing equipment with change of estabishment method of coil.

Chondroitin sulfate (Chs) contents in edible snail , Achatina fulica Bowdich , andits processed meat extracts were determined by high-performance liquid chormatogrpahy(HPLC) and spectrophotometric method. Spectrophotometric method was based on the precipitation of acriflavine by ChS, and HPLC method was based on the detection of two unsaturated disaccharides, 2-acetamido-2-deoxy-3-O-($\beta$ -D-gluco-4-enepyranosyluronic acid)-4-O-sulfo-D-galactose($\Delta$Di-4S) and 2-acetamido-2deoxy-3-O-($\beta$-D-gluco-4-eepyranosyluronic acid)-6-O-sulfo-D-galactose ($\Delta$야-6S) librated from ChS byenzymeatic digestion with chondroitinase ABc. the ratio of 125$\mu$mol of sodium hydroxide to mg of ChS and 8$0^{\circ}C$ of reaction temperature were proper for alkaline hydrolysis to remove protein residue form ChS. In assay preparation for HPLC ethod, the iptimum concentration of the enzyme chondroitinase ABc was 0.15 unit per 50 $\mu\textrm{g}$ of ChS at a fixed reaction time (30 min) and pH 8.0 using Tris buffer. ChS content in edible snail was 177.6mg% by spectrophotometric method and 153.5mg% by HPLC method and those in the processed meat extract was 71.3mg% by spectrometric method ad 62.8mg% by HPLC method, respectively.
The purpose of this study was to predict the failure or success of the Snatch-lifting trial as a consequence of the stand-up phase simulated in Kane's equation of motion that was effective for the dynamic analysis of multi-segment. This experiment was a case study in which one male athlete (age: 23yrs, height: 154.4cm, weight: 64.5kg) from K University was selected The system of a simulation included a multi-segment system that had one degree of freedom and one generalized coordinate for the shank segment angle. The reference frame was fixed by the Nonlinear Trans formation (NLT) method in order to set up a fixed Cartesian coordinate system in space. A weightlifter lifted a 90kg-barbell that was 75% of subject's maximum lifting capability (120kg). For this study, six cameras (Qualisys Proreflex MCU240s) and two force-plates (Kistler 9286AAs) were used for collecting data. The motion tracks of 11 land markers were attached on the major joints of the body and barbell. The sampling rates of cameras and force-plates were set up 100Hz and 1000Hz, respectively. Data were processed via the Qualisys Track manager (QTM) software. Landmark positions and force-plate amplitudes were simultaneously integrated by Qualisys system The coordinate data were filtered using a fourth-order Butterworth low pass filtering with an estimated optimum cut-off frequency of 9Hz calculated with Andrew & Yu's formula. The input data of the model were derived from experimental data processed in Matlab6.5 and the solution of a model made in Kane's method was solved in Matematica5.0. The conclusions were as follows; 1. The torque motor of the shank with 246Nm from this experiment could lift a maximum barbell weight (158.98kg) which was about 246 times as much as subject's body weight (64.5kg). 2. The torque motor with 166.5 Nm, simulated by angular displacement of the shank matched to the experimental result, could lift a maximum barbell weight (90kg) which was about 1.4 times as much as subject's body weight (64.5kg). 3. Comparing subject's maximum barbell weight (120kg) with a modeling maximum barbell weight (155.51kg) and with an experimental maximum barbell weight (90kg), the differences between these were about +35.7kg and -30kg. These results strongly suggest that if the maximum barbell weight is decided, coaches will be able to provide further knowledge and information to weightlifters for the performance improvement and then prevent injuries from training of weightlifters. It hopes to apply Kane's method to other sports skill as well as weightlifting to simulate its motion in the future study.
Genetic amniocenteses were performed in a series of 127 patients as a routine study. Samples from the patients were cultured by in situ method, flask method or both according to the state of amniotic fluid. The overall success rate of culture was 97.6% and no culture failure was observed in the flask method. It took 5 days first of all and 8.15 days average from set-up to harvest and there were 7.2 colonies per dish in in situ method. Therefore, it is suggested that in situ method which decreased the mean culture days and made clonal analyses possible, is a clinically available and even more reliable method in parallel with flask method in prenatal diagnosis.
The studies carried out to investigate the detection method of Fasciola eggs from positive cattle feces in the intradermal reaction method with laborsaving composition of sieves and Kim's sedimental tube method. The results obtained are summarized as follows: 1. The detection method of Fasciola eggs was improved by 3 meshes (100mesh, 150mesh, 250mesh) for filteration of fecal fluid contained Fasciola eggs. 2. Third type of tube in the 3 kinds of sedimental tube had the highest recovers rate of Fasciola eggs. Thus, this type of tube was selected and called as Kim's sedimental tube. 3. A-II, A-III, B-III and C-III type by Kim's sedimental tube method had the recovery rates of eggs in the 1st drop as ranged 99 to 100% and, A-I, B-II, C-II as 71 to 91%. 4. These Type of tubes were useful to detect Fasciola eggs and to shorten the time of the diagnostic procedures. 5. The Kim's sedimental tube method showed high recovery rates and convenient procedures as compared with other detection methods reported. In addition, the EPG value can also be obtained by this method. Therefore, it is desirable that the Kim's sedimental tube method could be recommended to clinicians.

In this research, experimental seakeeping results of Warped hull form 2 on the regular waves were compared with numerical results of strip method and CFD. In case of ship's speed, there are 3 cases (3.4m/s, 4.6m/s, 5.75m/s) for numerical simulation, and they are belong to semi-planing and planing condition. Consequently, in case of strip method, it is shown that the resonance phenomena occurred from around ${\lambda}/L_{OA}=2$ to 4 and RAO value were significantly higher than that of other. this is different from experimental results. In case of CFD, overall trends were similar with experimental values except there are somewhat excessive RAO values around ${\lambda}/L_{OA}=0.5$ to 2.5. these phenomena is confirmed that it became larger as the ship's speed increased, and it was considered that the error occurred because the number of mesh in vertical direction of wave height at ${\lambda}/L_{OA}=0.5$ to 2.5 were relatively less than those of wave height at ${\lambda}/L_{OA}=2.5$ to 5.2.
