텔레매틱스 서비스를 위한 원격제어 기술

  • 텔레매틱스는 IT산업과 자동차 산업이 공동으로 협력화된 차세대 성장산업으로 다양한 분야에 접목되어 새로운 융합 기술과 컨버전스되고 있다. 특히 텔레매틱스와 유비쿼터스 기술이 컨버젼스되어 산업계 전 분야에 응용되고 있다 지금까지는 정보제공과 정보를 획득하기 위한 서비스가 주류를 이뤄왔다. 그러나 점차 유비쿼터스 환경 인프라인 센서 네트워크 기술과 접목하여 원격 제어 서비스로 확장될 전망이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 텔레매틱스 서비스를 위한 원격제어에 대해 기술하고, 이를 위한 소프트웨어 표준화규격에 대해 설명한다.

An Attack Model Based on Software Cruise for Information Warfare (정보전을 위한 소프트웨어 순항 기반 공격 모델)

  • Information Warfare(IW), a new aspect of war, is the field centralized the concern and research in the information security and national security, Both the defense and the offensive are important in the next generation IW, and so we need to do the various research to secure the network and system for gaining the superiority of IW. This paper proposes a model for IW based on software cruise to prepare the IW that is changing the offensive aspect. Software cruise is defined as a behavior of computer programs that travel toward specific destination from a source through the network. The proposed model have the cruise property and uses the cybermap to cruise toward the destination chosen in advance. Also, while self-movement, the model can function the predefined task.

MIWF: Message Inter-Working Framework to Connect Rich Communication Service Messages and SMS Messages (MIWF: 리치 커뮤니케이션 서비스 메시지와 단문메시지의 연동을 위한 메시지 연동 프레임워크)

  • We have used SMS to exchange messages between mobile phones. Since the network evolved to the ALL-IP network, the next generation messaging service, RCS, has emerged to the market. Because SMS and RCS coexist, we need to inter-work the messages between SMS users and RCS users. This paper introduces a message inter-working framework(MIWF) that can inter-work SMS and RCS without changing end user's UX. It defines the call flows between the network equipment and MIWF. Also, it shows how MIWF converts messages between 3 protocols. Performance evaluation proves that MIWF does not add loads to the existing network.

QoS Functions in Mobile Backhaul Network (이동 백홀 네트워크에서 QoS 기능)

  • This paper addresses QoS functions in mobile backhaul network to accommodate the diverse traffics in cell site. The traffics assigned to the switching function in RAN system, such as Ethernet frame, IP packet, and ATM cell, are segmented, and then encapsulated to transfer then to the mobile backhaul network. ISP can converge all generation traffics, such as voice, HSPA, over all-IP RAN through standard pseudowire encapsulation. These can be enhanced with diverse QoS methods as well as comprehensive monitoring and diagnostic capabilities. Therefore in this paper, QoS functions under theses operations is simulated according to the encapsulation functions.

  • The multimedia streaming service in NGN architecture is not only to deliver video streaming (VoD, Broadcasting TV, etc.) but also to provide new services and service bundles, such as Triple Play (IPTV + VoIP + Internet). Among these services, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) is becoming a convergence of communication, content, computing, as well as an integration of broadcasting and telecommunication services. In this paper, we addresses enhanced IPTV management scheme aspect of E2E from Home Network to Head End Center over NGN to support efficient service management with a full quality of service (QoS) guarantee.

ABS Ratio Estimation Considering the Number of UEs in CRE Regions for LTE-A Heterogeneous Networks (LTE-A 기반 이종 네트워크에서 CRE 영역내 단말들의 수를 고려한 ABS 비율 산출 방법)

  • The CRE (Cell Range Expansion) that selects the small cell with more efficient uplink resources has been developed by 3GPP to relieve the problem of the traffic imbalance due to the power differences between macro and small cells in HetNet. In addition, ABS (Almost Blank Subframes) has been proposed to resolve the signal interference problem due to the operation CREs. This paper proposes an effective method to calculate the ABS ratio by considering the proportion of the number of UEs in CRE and macro cell ranges, as well as the number of small cells in a macro cell. The proposed method has been implemented on the LTESim simulator, and compared with previously proposed methods. The experimental results show that the proposed method can improve the throughput and packet loss ratio performances. In particular, it is also shown that CRE bias values affect those performances, and there exist effective CRE bias values to derive the best performances.

  • Recently PC games are trending toward online. But, mobile games are not using network actively. Because there are two problems that low speed of mobile network and low specification of mobile device in wireless internet environment. But, solving problems by these started HSDPA services and increased performance of devices. In this paper, we implement mobile on-line real time game for develop mobile network in wireless internet environment.

  • Broadband Convergence Network (BcN) is the network which unifies telephone network, the Internet and broadcasting networks. Threats to each network can bring serious problems in BcN environment since the whole network can be damaged by various types of attack. The purpose of this study is to suggest the prototype of intrusion-tolerant network design of BcN to guarantee the continuous operation of BcN services against malicious attacks. First, BcN service components, selected by analysis of service time and coverage importance, are classified into three groups by their type: server type, gateway type and hybrid type. Second, the necessity of applying intrusion tolerance on BcN services is deduced by possible attack scenarios on BcN. Finally, we suggest the intrusion-tolerant network design suitable to BcN, using hardware redundancy and secure policies. Also, we present that the suggested network design can increase the intrusion tolerance of BcN.

AMI System Using Smart Electricity Meter Embedded with Home Concentrate Unit (세대집중화장치를 포함하는 스마트 전력량계를 이용한 AMI 시스템)

  • In this paper, a system that integrates a home concentrate unit(HCU) in a smart electricity meter to collects water, gas, hot water, and heating usage required for AMI has been proposed. The collected data could be transmitted to the in house display(IHD) and server to provide a more economical AMI system. The developed system is less expensive in the network configuration than the existing system, which could reduce the operating cost, and be easy to install. By applying the developed system, the usage of electricity, water, gas, hot water and heating could be measured and these make it easier to apply AMI system. The main contents of the development are the smart electricity meter and embedding of HCU into the smart electricity meter, and transferring these data to IHD and server to structure the AMI system. The each developed unit has been networked to structure the AMI system to perform the actual meter reading operation and show the result.

가상 전이중 (Virtual Full-Duplex) 중계전송 기법

  • 본고에서는 5세대 이동통신 핵심기술 중 하나인 전이중 (full-duplex) 전송기술의 이득을 성취할 수 있는 새로운 접근 방법인 가상 전이중 (virtual full-duplex) 중계전송 기법에 대해서 알아본다. 이는 아직 실제적인 제약들을 해결해야 하는 전이중 중계전송 기술의 대안으로 반이중 (half-duplex) 중계기 2개를 하나의 가상 중계기로 고려함으로써 네트워크 차원에서는 송신과 수신이 동시에 이루어지도록 하여 전이중 중계전송의 효과를 얻는 기술이다. 본고에서는 먼저, 중계기에서 메모리를 고려하지 않고, 2개의 중계기를 번갈아 가면서 사용하는 2경로 (two-path) 교차 (alternating) 중계전송 기법을 살펴보고, 다음으로 중계기에 버퍼를 장착한 다수 중계기 네트워크에서 가상 전이중 중계전송 기법에 대해서 알아본다.
