A Study on the Mycelial Growth of Agrocybe aegerita in Flask Culture. (플라스크배양에서 버들송이버섯 균사체 배양에 관한 연구)

  • Agrocybe aegerita is Hymenomycetes fungus belonging to the order Agaricales and family of Bolbitiaceae. Much less is known about liquid culture of Agrocybe aegerita. Thus, the present study was to investigate the liquid cultural characteristics of Agrocybe aegerita my-celium. The optimal medium for the mycelial growth and density was ME medium, optimal tem-perature and initial pH were 25$\pm$1$^{\circ}C$ and 5.5, respectively. And optimal culture time for mycelial growth was 12 days. The modified optimal medium compositions were dextrin 3% (w/v), yeast extract 2% (w/w), MgSO$_4$0.05% (w/v), and KH$_2$PO$_4$0.15% (w/v). Under optimal culture conditions, the mycelial growth of modified optimal medium was higher than that of ME medium.

  • The tungsten oxo-nitrosyl complexes (n-Bu4N)2[W5O12(NO)2{RC(NH2)NHO}2{RC(NH)NO}2] (R=(CH3)2CH, CH3CH2CH2, CH3SCH2) have been synthesized by the reactions of polyoxotungsten complex (n-Bu4N)2[W6O19] and tungsten dinitrosyl monomeric complex [W(NO)2(acac)(CH3CN)2](BF4) with butylamidoxime derivatives. The prepared complexes have been characterized by elemental analysis, infrared, UV-visible, 1H NMR and 13C NMR spectroscopy. The pentanuclear species was formed by the interaction of the electron-withdrawing {W(NO)2}2+ unit between the two dinuclear tungsten {W2O5}2+ cores. We can estimate to exist large proton interactions viewed from the four doublet in 1H NMR spectrum of (n-Bu4N)2[W5O12(NO)2{(CH3)2CHC(NH2)NHO}2{(CH3)2CHC(NH)NO}2]. We also drew informations of the two different coordination mode and symmetry of the complexes because two ligands appear in 13C NMR spectra instead of four. The {W(NO)2}2+ unit has been cis-form and C2v symmetry in geometric structure.

  • This was studied about aging characteristic of AC4A/$SiC_{w}$ 10-30v/o reinforced composite. Aging hardenability was decreased $SiC_{w}$ 30% > 10% > 20%. Aging hardening of T6 treatmented composite was higher absolute value than AC4A I/M material. And this results indicated initial hardening phenomenon according to increase $SiC_{w}$ volume fraction. Reinforced effect by pressure was the same effect as before aging treatment and the best condition pressure at 75MPa. Similar to reinforced effect according to $SiC_{w}$ volume fraction was 30 % > 10 % > 20 %. In case of pressure is low, whisker is not break the same time press with base metal after wetting. After it is wetting with base metal, a part transformed or wetting part break and whisker maintain original shape or a part transformed on the otherhand, in case of pressure is high, whisker is break in same time it was not against pressure and whisker's shape is near a polygon or spherical shape.

  • In this paper, we propose a triple band antenna for GPS / DCS / WLAN system. The proposed antenna has the characteristics required by considering the interconnection of two strip lines and various slits on the ground place. The total substrate size is $31mm(W1){\times}50mm(L1)$, thickness (h) 1.6 mm, and the dielectric constant is 4.4, which is made of $22mm(W7+W12+W8){\times}43mm(L4+L3)$ antenna size on the FR-4 substrate. From the fabrication and measurement results, bandwidths of 340 MHz (1.465 to 1.805 GHz), 480 MHz (2.155 to 2.635 GHz) and 1950 MHz (4.975 to 6.925 GHz) were obtained on the basis of -10 dB. Also, gain and radiation pattern characteristics are measured and shown in the frequency triple band as required.

  • Medium components for maximum activity of NAD$^{+}$-dependent formate dehydrogenase (EC 1.2.1.2; FDH) were optimized with a methanol-assimilating yeast Hansenula sp. MS-364, preserved by our laboratory. The maximum activity of the enzyme was obtained when the strain was cultivated at 30$circ$C for 24 hours in a medium containing methanol 3%(v/v), yeast extract 0.8%(w/v), K$_{2}$HPO$_{4}$, 0.1%(w/v), KH$_{2}$PO$_{4}$ 0.1%(W/V), MgSO$_{4}$, 7H$_{2}$O 0.05%(w/v), and the pH of the culture broth was adjusted at 5.0.

  • We have investigated the effects of W-N/Pt bottom electrode on the ferroelectric degradation of $Sr_{0.8}Bi_{2.4}Ta_2O_9(SBT)/Pt$ due to hydrogen annealing at $350^{\circ}C$ in $N_2$ gas atmosphere containing $5{\%}\;H_2$ gas for 1hr. As a result, inserting the W-N thin films between SBT and Pt, this W-N thin film prevents hydrogen molecules to be chemisorbed at the Pt electrode surface of at the electrode/ferroelectric interface during hydrogen annealing. These hydrogen atoms can diffuse into the SBT and react with the oxide causing the oxygen deficiency in the SBT film, which will result in the ferroelectric degradation. Experimental results show that W-N thin film is a good diffusion barrier during the hydrogen annealing.

  • An extracellular cellulase producing bacterium YE-5 was isolated from soil, and identified as a Cellulomonas sp. by its taxonomical characteristics. The maximal activities of avicelase (0.35 units/ml), CMCase (3.18 units/ml), FPase (0.315 units/ml) and $\beta$-glucosidase (0.882 units/ml) were obtained when this strain was cultured for 48 hrs at $30^{\circ}C$ in a medium containing 0.8% (w/v) Solka floc, 0.06010 (wlv) urea, 0.1% (w/v) $K_2HP0_4$, 0.1% (w/v) $MgS0_4.7H2_0$, 0.2% (w/v) bacto peptone, 0.2% (w/v) yeast extract and pH 6.5. The cellulase was purified by ammonium sulfate fractionation, DEAE-Sepharose column chromatography and Sephadex 6-100 column chromatography from culture filtrate of Cellulomonus sp. YE-5. The molecular weights of purified avieelase, CMCase I, and CMCase II were estimated to be about 95,000 ~ 105,000, 46,000 ~ 47,000 and 120,000 ~ 125,000, respectively.

Phonological Status of Korean /w/: Based on the Perception Test

  • The sound /w/ has been traditionally regarded as an independent segment in Korean regardless of the phonological contexts in which it occurs. There have been, however, some questions regarding whether it is an independent phoneme in /CwV/ context (cf. Kang 2006). The present pilot study examined how Korean /w/ is realized in $/S^*wV/$ context by performing some perception tests. Our assumption was that if Korean /w/ is a part of the preceding complex consonant like $/C^w/$, it should be more or less uniformly articulated and perceived as such. If /w/ is an independent segment, it will be realized with speaker variability. Experiments I and II examined the identification rates as "labialized" of the spliced original stimuli of $/S^*-V/$ and $/S^{w*}-^wV/$, and the cross-spliced stimuli $/S^{w*}-V/$ and $/S^*-^wV/$. The results showed that round qualities of /w/ are perceived at significantly different temporal point with speaker and context variability. We therefore conclude that /w/ in $/S^*wV/$ context is an independent segment, not a part of the preceding segment. Full-scale examination of the production test in the future should be performed to verify the conclusion we suggested in this paper.

  • We designed capacitance sensor in order to examine characteristics of W/O type emulsified fuel, so it concluded the following conclusions. The capacitance value of emulsified fuel, using with capacitance sensor, increases as water content increases due to the coalescence. When surfactant increases, the capacitance value decreases, the condition of W/O type emulsified fuel was maintained stably. There was revealed the capacitance value difference of W/O type emulsified fuel in in according to water content. We checked the phase separation of emulsified fuel with the capacitance value difference. The surfactant(HLB=5.4) had better stable condition than surfactant(HLB=4.3). Also, we confirmed that two mixture surfactants were better than one surfactant.

Response of File Fish , Stephanolepis Cirrhifer to the Attracting Lamp (유도등에 대한 쥐치의 반응)

  • The author examined the response of File fish, Stephanolepis Cirrhifer (TEMMINCK et SCHLEGEL) to the surface attracting lamps(0.5W, 0.8W, 1W) line in the experimental water tank (550L$\times$58W$\times$73H cm). the attracting rate was investigated in accordance with the interval of lighting and putting out hour (1, 5 minute)when each of the attracting lamps was gradually switched off after they were switched on all at once. The results are as follows: 1. Total distribution rate of fish in the illuminated section was 96.9%(mean 19.4%) in case of 1 minute interval, and 98.4%(mean 19.7%) in case of 5 minutes interval. 2. Mean distribution rate of fish at the illuminated section: \circled1 Distribution rate at interval of 1 minute were 19.9% in 0.8W, 19.3% in 1W and 18.9% in 0.5W respectively. \circled2 Distribution rate at interval of 5 minutes were 19.8% in 1W, 19.8% in 0.8W, and 19.5% in 0.5W respectively. 3. Attracting rate of the last section showed increasing as illuminating time elapse without interval and lighting source. 4. Attracting rate of fish in only last section switched on: \circled1 Attracting rate at interval in case of 1 minute were 98.0% in 1W, 97.0% in 0.5W and 83.0% in 0.8W respectively. \circled2 Attracting rate at interval in case of 5 minutes were 99.3% in 1W, 97.3% in 0.5W and 93.3% in 0.8W respectively.
