  • In this paper, we present the 3DOF force-rei1ecting interface which allows to acquire force of objc'Ct within a a virtual environment. This system is comlxlsed of device, virtual environment model, and force-rei1ecting r rendering algorithm. We design a J DOF force reflecting device using the pc$\alpha$allel linkage, torque shared by W wire, and the controller of system applied by impedance control algorithm. The force reflecting behaviour i implemented as a function position is equivalent to controlling the mechanical impedance felt by the user. Calculating Method of FRF with Sub-structure Mode Synthesis Method (부분구조 모드합성법에 의한 주파수응답함수 산출법)

  • A very important part in vibration analysis is to calculate the frequency response function (FRF). In general, a large sized or/and complicated structure has many thousands to millions of degrees. Therefore, the FRF cannot be calculated by the traditional analysis method using an inverse matrix. This paper presents a new FRF calculation method of a superstructure by synthesizing sub-structure modes, of which the DOF can be deduced by partitioning into some sub-structures. To confirm its analysis results, the method was applied to an assembled plate ($B300{\times}L900{\times}t5mm$) with three diagonal sub-plates($B300{\times}L300{\times}t5mm$) in series and compared with the measured data. The test results have were comparable those of the calculated ones with an error less than 5%.

  • 경로손실 예측 모델은 무선 네트워크 설계를 위한 기본 척도이며, 적용 환경과 적용 시스템에 영향을 받는 특징이 있다. 대부분의 기존 연구는 도심, 교외와 같은 육상 환경을 기반으로 한다. 일반적으로 해수면 경로 손실은 전파의 잦은 굴절로 인해 지표면 보다 크며, 주파수에 비례한 경로손실이 있다고 알려져 있다. 하지만 해상 환경의 관련 연구는 자유공간에 적용하기 때문에 예측 모델의 정확성을 낮춘다. 본 논문은 해상 무선통신 서비스를 위한 2.4 GHz 대역의 해수면 경로손실 예측 모델을 제안한다. 이를 위해 육상과 해상에서 각각 수신신호 세기를 측정하고, 다양한 예측 모델과 비교 분석하여 실용성과 정확성을 입증한다.

  • The aim of this paper is to analyze handling qualities of tiltrotor aircraft(TR-S4) in helicopter flight mode including hovering and forward flight. Analysis of handling qualities is composed of aircraft response to control inputs that effect on stability and controllability. In short term response analysis, bandwidth is the critical parameter for small amplitude motions since it relates to the ability of a pilot to crisply start and stop maneuver. The handling qualities of TR-S4 in helicopter mode are analyzed with a SAS and an attitude controller and are satisfied level 1 in almost criteria with simulation of TR-S4 6-DOF nonlinear model.

  • In this research, an overlapped illumination model was newly proposed for designing a freeform LED lens with a uniform illuminance distribution on its illuminating plane. Based on the proposed model and conventional illumination models, freeform lenses were designed and their performances and tolerances were compared. As a result of the tolerance analysis about thickness change in lens, position, size change, central direction change of light emission and characteristic change in LED source. This proposed model and divergent illumination model are similar to the performance about central direction change of light emission in LED source. but the uniformity illumination value in this proposed model is more remarkably value than it in divergent illumination model about characteristic change in LED source.

  • 게데형 분자드래그펌프의 배기특성을 강구(hard sphere)분자모델과 NTC(No Time Counter)충돌 scheme을 이용한 직접모사 법의 하나인 DSMC(direct simulation Monte Carlo)방법을 이용하여 해석하였다. 해석에 사용된 모델은 높이가 일정하고, 길이가 높이의 1~3000배 사이인 이차원 채널이다. 자유분자영역으로부터 연속체 영역까지의 영역에서 최대압축비와 배기속도를 계산하였다. 계산결과 기존의 최대압축비 이론 결과는 채널내의 압력변화가 클 때는 큰 오차를 유발하는 것을 알 수 있었고, 유동방향의 기체분자의 통과확률은 채널 길이와 출구압력에 관계없이 거의 일정한 값을 갖는다는 것을 발견하였다.

  • Handling fuzzy query in voice search on smartphones is one of the most difficult problems. It is mainly derived from the complexity and the degree of freedom of natural language. To reduce the complexity and the degree of freedom of fuzzy query in voice search on smartphones, attribute-driven approach for fuzzy query is proposed. In addition, a new page ranking algorithm based on the values of attributes for handling fuzzy query is proposed. It provides a smartphone user with location-based personalized page ranking based on user's search intentions. It is a further step toward location-based personalized web search for smartphone users. In this paper, we design a prototype model for handling fuzzy query in voice search on smartphones and show the experimental results of the proposed approach compared to existing smartphones.

  • The RCS value of maritime ship is indicator of ship's stealth performance and it should be particularly measured for navy ship to ensure survivability on the battlefield. In the design phase of the navy ship, a RCS prediction should be performed to reduce RCS value and achieve ROC(Required Operational Capability) of the ship through configuration control. In operational phase, the RCS value of the ship should be measured for verifying the designed value and obtaining tactical data to take action against enemy missile. During the measurement of RCS for the ship, ship motion can be affected by roll and pitch in accordance with sea state, which should be analyzed into threat elevation from view point of enemy missile. In this paper, we propose a method to measure and analyze RCS of ship in 3-dimensions using a ship motion measuring instrument and a fixed RCS measurement system. In order to verify the proposed method, we conducted a marine experiment using a test ship in sea environment and compared the measurement data with RCS prediction value which is carried by prediction SW($CornerStone^{TM}$) using CAD model of the ship.

  • In this study, the nonlinear mathematical model of Manta type UUV is derived the hydrodynamic derivatives and the sliding mode controller of Manta type UUV test bed is designed. The sliding mode control scheme is used for robust control on the nonlinear motion. The designed controller is used the depth and heading control. It is based on the 6 DOF mathematical model with effect of the ocean currents. As a result, the performance of the designed controller is confirmed by computer simulation.
