  • The agricultural working tractor of this study is equipped with 4 wheel driving system developed in study 1 and 4-type wheel steering system. The wheel steering system has four type of steering methods that are front wheel steering, rear wheel steering, 4 wheel steering with opposite phase, and 4 wheel steering with corresponding phase. This study introduces the hydraulic circuit of the 4-type wheel steering system and the construction of working tractor. Judging from the field test results of the developed working tractor, it is apparent that 4-type wheel steering system has many advantages when driving in a narrow corral.

  • The loader of this study is an agriculture machine for a stock farmer. We has much researched about power train and steering system in order to develop a new stock machine. So, the loader developed in this study has a 4 wheel driving system and a 4-type wheel steering system. Though the technological region is some large and general, these technologies are very important and their technical life may be very long. The power train of the loader is consisted of many units as follows, engine, clutch, transmission, and axles. And, the 4-type wheel steering system is consisted of oil tank, oil pump, steering valve, solenold valve, electronic controller, hydraulic cylinders, and touch sensors. This study shows construction logics of power train and steering system. We could know from many working tests that the developed loader with 4-type steeling system has many advantages when driving in a narrow corral.

  • The working tactor of this study, an agriculture machine, is consisted of 4 wheel driving system with gear trains and 4-type wheel steering system. Since technological regions for 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system are some large, we divide on two studies on 4 wheel driving system and 4-type wheel steering system This study develops transmission and axle that are very important units for strong working operation because the power of tractor is largely affected by transmission and axle. Even if the development of the power train is some common technology, it is very complicated work and needs many experience know-hows. So, for new given specifications fitted to the working tractor, a kind of new agriculture machine, this study haws out processes that are development of assembly drawing and strength analysis through classical method and CAE software for all internal parts and housing cases.

  • This paper presents an omnidirectionally beam-steerable orthogonal loop resonator for wireless power transfer. The resonator is composed of two orthogonal loops. These connections of two loops and the current direction on the loops are determined by the control of switch. The magnetic field direction is determined by the vector sum of each loop current. The beam is steerable to eight directions by four switch modes. Using the suitable switch mode, the simulation and measurement efficiencies in the whole azimuthal direction are 56.3~60.0 %(deviation 3.7 %) and 41.2~48.7 %(deviation 7.5 %), respectively. The results show a little variation of transmission efficiency in the azimuthal direction.

  • When there are mismatches between the beamforming steering vector and the array response vector for the desired signal, the performance can be severely degraded as the adaptive array attempts to suppress the desired signal as well as interferences. In this paper, an robust method is proposed for the adaptive array in the presence of both direction errors and random errors in the steering vector. The proposed method first finds a signal-plus-interference subspace (SIS) from the correlation matrix, which in turn is exploited to extract an interference subspace based on the structure of a uniform linear array (ULA), the effect of the desired signal direction vector being reduced as much as possible. Then, the weight vector is attained to be orthogonal to the interference subspace. Simulation shows that the proposed method, in terms of signal-to-interference plus noise ratio (SINR), outperforms existing ones such as the doubly constrained robust Capon beamformer (DCRCB).

Reflector Based Mobile Satellite Antenna with Novel Beam Steering Scheme (새로운 빔 조향 방식을 갖는 반사판 기반의 이동형 위성 통신 안테나)

  • This paper proposes a hybrid antenna with novel beam steering scheme. The antenna have a cassegrain structure composed of two reflectors. The main reflector is designed for high gain performance using parabola curvature, and the sub-reflector is plate and can be rotated by ${\pm}3^{\circ}$. Thus proposed antenna can steer a antenna beam using the inclination of sub-reflector. A feed array composed of 20 elements is adapted as a feeder for electrical beam steering, and the antenna can be possible to steer the beam by the feed array with sub-reflector. Proposed antenna was fabricated to be operated in Ka-band(30.085$\sim$30.885 GHz) for TX and K-band(20.355$\sim$21.155 GHz), which are the operation frequencies of the Korean satellite, Mugunhwa, to provide satellite multi-media service to vehicles. By the performance test, it can be known that the antenna has minimum gain of 47 dBi for TX and 44.4 dBi for TX and can steer the beam by ${\pm}2^{\circ}$ with sub-reflector.

  • 본 연구는 4륜 독립 구동·제동·조향 차량의 모드 천이 논리 알고리즘에 관한 연구로서, 일반적인 주행 스타일 외에도 다양한 주행 스타일을 가지는 차량에서 주행 모드 전환 간에 고려되어야 하는 조건들을 다룬다. 주행 모드 전환 간에 Static Transition과 Dynamic Transition이 가능하며 Static Transition 방식이 일반적이지만 저속 상태에서 차량이 충분히 정렬되어 있다면 FWS 주행, 동상 주행, 역상 주행 간의 Dynamic Transition도 가능할 것이다.

Design of W-Band Cassegrain Antenna for Beam Steering (빔 조향을 위한 W-대역 카세그레인 안테나 설계)

  • In this paper, for the mechanical beam steering of the Cassegrain antenna, the steering performances of the main reflector tilting method are characterized, and the Cassegrain antenna for the antenna rotating method is designed and its performances are measured. In the Cassegrain antenna operating at W-band, the changes of characteristics due to changes in the sizes of the main/sub-reflectors and other structural changes are analyzed to obtain the structural variables satisfying the performance goal. The manufactured antenna in W-band shows the measured gain of 42.08 dBi, 3 dB beamwidth of $1.32^{\circ}$, $1.14^{\circ}$ and the return loss($S_{11}$) of -23.58 dB at the center frequency of 94 GHz.

Compensation Algorithm of Beamforming Error for Wideband Conformal Array Antenna (광대역 컨포멀 위상 배열 안테나의 빔형성 열화 보상 알고리즘)

  • In this paper, we propose an algorithm for the wideband beamforming in a conformal phased array antenna by compensating the errors. For the wideband beamforming, we used the True Time Delay(TTD), which was fabricated on the RF circuit board to obtain long delay lines. Beamforming errors in the conformal array antenna are the mutual coupling between the array elements, the dispersive error in the TTD circuit, and the quantization error by the digital control. We apply the compensation algorithm to the conformal phased array antenna of wideband 2~4 GHz, and verify the usefulness by comparing the results with the experiment results.

  • This study was conducted to develop the semi-crawler type mini-forwarder that can be operated comfortable small-scale logging operation in the steep terrain and also used at a variety of operations such as the civil work in erosion control and forest-road. Considering the minimum turning radius and the width of forest operation road, the total length, width and loading capacity of the semi-crawler type mini-forwarder is 5,750 mm, 1,900 mm and $2.5m^{3}$, respectively. The maximum engine power is 96ps at 3600 rpm. Selected hydraulic pumps are consists of two main pumps and two sub-main pumps. Main hydraulic pumps are utilized to running motor of the front wheel and rear crawler. Sub-main pumps are utilized to the actuation parts such as steering, crane, out-rigger and dump cylinder. The transmission was adapted as the HST (Hydro-Static Transmission) system. The driving parts are designed and manufactured as the front wheel type and the rear crawler type. The steering type was manufactured as the ackerman type. Driving control parts type was designed and manufactured as driver's seat type of normal cars. It is also attached on auxiliary equipments such as winch, log grapple and out-rigger. The traveling speed of the semi-crawler type mini-forwarder in forest road was 5.3 km/hr to 7.7 km/hr.
