The Joint Steering Committee represented final draft of RDA that can be replaced for AACR3 on November third in 2008. RDA is aiming at standard of international cataloging rules fo the purpose of providing the bibliographic description and the access point of all media, and when it will be realized, KCR4 4th edtion have to revised to following up it. This study analyzes both cataloging rules of RDA and KCR4 in each area of KCR 4th edition. As a result, it present the points to take into consideration as revising KCR4.

This study was to suggest the directions of and the choice of the authorized access points for Korean Cataloging Rules, based on the trends of the international cataloging and the need of rules for the authorized access points in KCR. The Literature review, the case study, and the interviewing were used as the research methods. In the literature review, the Authorized access points were reviewed in FRBR conceptual model, International cataloging Principle 2009, and Resource Description and Access. VIAF authorized access points were analyzed as case study. Last interview was executed with the representative librarians in 4 University libraries. Through these surveys, new directions and rules of the authorized access points for KCR were suggested. This study could contributed to construct work and expression authorized access points of FRBR, and to set up the selection rules of the authorized access points for KCR.

제품의 포장재질·포장방법에 관한 기준 등에 관한 규칙(환경부령 제1032호)이 지난 4월 17일자로 공포(시행) 됐다. 해당 법령에는 규제 재검토기한 정비를 위한 17개 법령의 일부개정에 관한 내용을 담고 있다. 특히 제11조 (「제품의 포장재질·포장방법에 관한 기준 등에 관한 규칙」의 개정) 제품의 포장재질·포장방법에 관한 기준 등에 관한 규칙 일부를 개정하였으며, 제12조 각 호 외의 부분 중 "하여야"를 "해야"로 수정하고, 같은 조 제3호를 삭제하였다. 해당 규칙은 공포한 날인 2023년 4월 17일부터 시행되고 있다. 법령 전문과 함께 개정된 상세 내용을 살펴보도록 한다.

The purpose of this study is to study Bong Suk Park's thought and spirit in Korean Cataloging Rules for Oriental Books for illumination and revaluation of Bong Suk Park's library philosophy that was a pioneer of Korean library. The study examined a compilation backgrounds, configurations and characteristics of Korean Cataloging Rules for Oriental Books. A criticism of Korean Cataloging Rules for Oriental Books, creation and change process of Korean Cataloging Rules were examined. Though Bong Suk Park was worked from 1945 to 1950 for five years for Korean Library, he made a lot of contributions to Korean library. Based on this, the study examined the Rules, his thoughts and spirit in Korean Cataloging Rules for Oriental Books.

This study campares and analyzes the cataloging rules of the monographic publications included in the 4th edition of the Korean Cataloging Rules(KCR) & the 1st revision of the 3rd edition of the KCR. Especially it focuses on the different rules applied for the same specified areas, such as Title & Statement of Responsibility Area, Edition Area, Material Specific Details Area, Publication. Distribution, Etc., Area, etc. As a result, this analysis can be useful for cataloging monographic publications and so that the KCR4 will remain a viable standard for bibliographic description and access into the future.

This study seeks to replace PaRIS Principles and find directions of revising KCR4 by analyzing the international Cataloging Principles 2009(ICP 2009) established in the environment of Machine Readable Cataloging. ICP 2009 was reflected in cataloging rules such as RDA and ISBD 2010 as the minimal principles for uniformity in establishing each nation's cataloging rules. In contrary, KCR4 needs to be revised because it has never been changed after 2003, and has only description rules without any rules for the choice and forms of access points. Therefore, this study aims to grasp requirements that should be reflected in KCR4 through analyzing ICP 2009. In first step, it is to grasp the features of ICP 2009 by comparing PaRIS Principle and ICP 2009 and to compare KCR4 in aspects of ICP 2009. The detailed elements for comparison between ICP 2009 and KCR4 are scope, general principles, entitles, attributes, and relationships, objectives and functions of the catalogue, bibliographic description, access points, foundations for search capabilities as the contents of ICP 2009. As a result, this study could give some directions of KCR4 in the future. First, ISBD 2010 and conceptual models should be reflected in KCR4 in description. Second, it should regulate the authority access points in KCR4 based on ICP 2009. Third, it will describe essential access points of work and expression attributes in bibliographic records and authority records to find works and expression. This study will contribute to guide the national cataloging rules.

The purpose of this study is to present the base of the directions of standardization for our archival description through the analysis of the efforts of standardization for archival description in the United States and their archival description rules. In this study. therefore, the standardization for archival description and the development of standards in the United States are examined as the backgrounds. Then the establishment backgrounds, peculiarities, and contents of the Chapter 4 Manuscripts of AACR2R and APPM2 are analyzed. And the directions of archival description standard rules in our archival description are presented.

This is the survey on the actual condition about the managing of headings in library cataloging. KCR4, the standard rules for the library cataloging in Korea, has no rules for the main entry headings and uniform headings. But the cataloging records are not standardized because a lot of libraries in Korea use the main entry headings and uniform headings yet. A structural revision of KORMARC is required in order that all library follow the rules on the KCR's main entry headings. And the rules for uniform heading used until KCR4's policy about the heading is decided according to international trends are needed.

Recently. many projects have been actively implementing IPsec on the various Operating Systems for security of IPv6 network. But there is no existing tool that checks the IPsec-based systems, which provide IPsec services, work Properly and provide their network security services well In the IPv6 network. In this paper, we design SERDL(Security Evaluation Rule Description Language) and rule execution tool for evaluating security of the IPv6 network, and we provide implementation details. The system Is divided into following parts : User Interface part, Rule Execution Module part, DBMS part and agent that gathering information needed for security test.
