The purpose of this study was to explore the progression levels of science metamodeling knowledge through using questionnaires for 97 students of the gifted in G science academy. As a result of the Rasch model analysis, it was confirmed that the progression levels of the scientific metamodeling knowledge is suitable for the person reliability of 0.71 and the item reliability of 0.96. The progression levels of students' science metamodeling knowledge were classified into 4 stages. First and second levels were considered model to be objective and the third and fourth stages were perceived as subjective. The first level is to view the model as a visual representation of a phenomenon as it is, and the second level is to think that the model corresponds to objective knowledge or theory and is a tool for explanation. The Third level looks at the model as a scientist's exploration tool and fourth level is to think that the model is provisional one and multiple models can coexist in one phenomenon. The progression levels of science metamodeling knowledge of science high school students derived from this study is expected to be used as a reference when constructing a curriculum for science modeling and modeling for gifted students.
RT Per has been known as a close binary of which the orbital period has unpredictably varied so far. Although there are no agreements with the working mechanism for the changes of the period, two interpretations have been suggested and waiting for to be tested: 1) light-time effects due to the unseen 3rd and 4rd bodies (Panchatsaram 1981), 2) Abrupt period-changes, due to internal variations of the system (e.g. mass transfer or mass loss) superimposing to the light-time effect by a 3rd body (Frieboes-Conde & Herczeg 1973). In the point of view that the former interprepation models could predict the behavior of the changes of the orbital period theoretically, we checked whether the recent observed times of minimum lights follow the perdictions by the first model or not. We confirmed that the observed times of minimum lights have followed the variations calculated by the light-times effects due to the 3rd and 4rd bodies suggested by Panchatsatam. In this paper a total of 626 times of minimum lights were reanalyzed in terms of the light-time effects by the 3rd and 4rd bodies. We concluded that the eclipsing pair in SVCam system moves in an elliptic orbit about center of mass of the triple system with a period of about $42.^y2$, while the mass center of the triplet is in light-time orbit about the center of mass of the quadruple system with a period of $120^y$. The mean masses deduced for the 3rd and 4rd bodies were $0.89m_\odot$ and $0.82m_\odot$, respectively.

We present the results of far-ultraviolet (FUV) observations of comet C/2001 Q4 (NEAT) obtained with Far-ultraviolet Imaging Spectrograph (FIMS) on board the Korean microsatellite STSAT-1, which operated at an altitude of 700 km in a sun-synchronous orbit. FIMS is a dual channel imaging spectrograph (S-channel 900-1150 ${\AA}$, L-channel 1350-1710 ${\AA}$, and ${\lambda}/{\Delta}{\lambda}$ ~ 550 for both channels) with large image fields of view (S-channel $4.0^{\circ}{\times}4.6^{\prime}$, L-channel $7.5^{\circ}{\times}4.3^{\prime}$, and angular resolution ~ $5-10^{\prime}$) optimized for the observation of diffuse emission of astrophysical radiation. Comet C/2001 Q4 (NEAT) were made in two campaigns during its perihelion approach between May 8 and 15, 2004. Based on the scanning mode observations in the wavelength band of 1400-1700 ${\AA}$, we have constructed an image of the comet with an angular size of $5^{\circ}{\times}5^{\circ}$, which corresponds to the central coma region. Several important fluorescence emission lines were detected including S I multiplets at 1429 and 1479 ${\AA}$, C I multiplets at 1561 and 1657 ${\AA}$, and the CO $A^1{\Pi}-X^1{\Sigma}^+$ Fourth Positive system; we have estimated the production rates of the corresponding species from the fluxes of these emission lines. The estimated production rate of CO was $Q_{CO}=(2.65{\pm}0.63){\times}10^{28}s^{-1}$, which is 6.2-7.4% of the water production rate and is consistent with earlier predictions. The average carbon production rate was estimated to be $Q_C={\sim}1.59{\times}10^{28}s^{-1}$, which is ~60% of the CO production rate. However, the observed carbon profile was steeper than that predicted using the two-component Haser model in the inner coma region, while it was consistent with the model in the outer region. The average sulfur production rate was $Q_S=(4.03{\pm}1.03){\times}10^{27}s^{-1}$, which corresponds to ~1% of the water production rate.

FIMS is a dual-channel imaging spectrograph (S channel 900-1150 ${\AA}$, L channel 1350-1750 ${\AA}$, ${\lambda}/{\Delta}{\lambda}$ ~ 550) with large image fields of view (S: $4^{\circ}.0{\times}4^{\prime}.6$, L: $7^{\circ}.5{\times}4^{\prime}.3$, angular resolution 5'-10') optimized for the observation of diffuse emission of astrophysical radiation. Comet C/2001 Q4 (NEAT) was observed with a scanning survey mode when it was located around the perihelion between 8 and 15 May 2004. Several important emission lines were detected including S I (1425, 1474 ${\AA}$), C I (1561, 1657 ${\AA}$) and several emission lines of CO $A^1{\Pi}-X^1{\Sigma}^+$ system in the L channel. Production rates of the notable molecules, such as C I, S I and CO, were estimated from the photon fluxes of these spectral lines and compared with previous observations. We compare the flux and the production rates in the radius of $3{\times}10^5$ km with $20{\times}10^5$ km from the central coma. We obtained L-channel image which have map size $5^{\circ}{\times}5^{\circ}$ The image was constructed for the wavelength band of L-channel (1350 - 1710 ${\AA}$. We also present the radial profiles of S I, C I, CO obtained from the spectral images of the central coma. The radial profiles of $2{\times}10^6$ km region are compared with the Haser model.
The objective of the present study is to systematically characterize a linear viscoelastic behavior of petroleum jelly in small amplitude oscillatory shear flow fields correspondent to the rheological ground state. With this aim, using a strain-controlled rheometer, the dynamic viscoelastic properties of commercially available petroleum jelly have been measured at $37^{\circ}C$ (body temperature) over a wide range of angular frequencies at an extremely small strain amplitude of 0.1 %. In this article, the linear viscoelastic behavior was reported in detail and then explained from a structural view-point of petroleum jelly and discussed in depth with respect to the consumer's requirements. Main findings obtained from this study can be summarized as follows : (1) The storage modulus is always greater than the loss modulus over an entire range of angular frequencies studied, meaning that the linear viscoelastic behavior of petroleum jelly is dominated by an elastic nature rather than a viscous nature. (2) Petroleum jelly shows a desirable linear viscoelastic behavior with respect to the consumer's requirements because it is undesirable for the product to flow down from the skin at an initial stage upon contact with the human skin. (3) A fractional derivative model shows an excellent applicability to describe a linear viscoelastic behavior of petroleum jelly. However, this model should be used with a special caution because there exists no physical meaning for the model parameters. (4) A modified form of the Cox-Merz rule gives a good ability to predict the relationship between steady shear flow properties (nonlinear behavior) and dynamic viscoelastic properties (linear behavior) for petroleum jelly.
These days, medical technology has been developed rapidly to meet desire of living healthy life. Average lifespan was extended to let people see a doctor because of many reasons. This study has shown rate of leaving of hospitals to investigate the rate of not only department of surgery but also department of internal medicine. Linear model, tree, classification rule, association and algorithm of data mining were used. This study investigated by using J48 and AD tree of decision-making tree In this study, J48 and AD tree of decision-making tree of data mining were used to investigate based on result of both data. Both algorithms were found to have similar performance. Both algorithms were not equivalent to require detailed experiment. Collect more experimental data in the future to apply from various points of view. Development of medical technology gives dream, hope and pleasure. The ones who suffer from incurable diseases need developed medical technology. Environment being similar to the reality shall be made to experiment exactly to investigate data carefully and to let the ones of various ages visit hospital and to increase survival rate.
One of the main problems of topological localization in a real indoor environment is variations in the environment caused by dynamic objects and changes in illumination. Another problem arises from the sense of topological localization itself. Thus, a robot must be able to recognize observations at slightly different positions and angles within a certain topological location as identical in terms of topological localization. In this paper, a possible solution to these problems is addressed in the domain of global topological localization for mobile robots, in which environments are represented by their visual appearance. Our approach is formulated on the basis of a probabilistic model called the Bayes filter. Here, marginalization of dynamics in the environment, marginalization of viewpoint changes in a topological location, and fusion of multiple visual features are employed to measure observations reliably, and action-based view transition model and action-associated topological map are used to predict the next state. We performed experiments to demonstrate the validity of our proposed approach among several standard approaches in the field of topological localization. The results clearly demonstrated the value of our approach.
The existing geotextile reinforced soil wall methods have a demerit in terms of esthetic view because concrete panel or block are used as wall facing of the methods. If grass planting walls could be used in reinforced soil slope or wall methods, efficiency of the methods would be increased with maximization of advantage of the methods. In this study, some possible methods in which grass planting wall is used as wall facing are devised. A series of laboratory model tests were performed to investigate the behavior of newly devised methods in order to compare with the results of each others. As a major result, it was found that this kinds of grass wall facing methods could be accepted as a new construction method even in the sense of stability.

Stow nets have widely been used in the western sea of Korea from the olden age. The original structure of a stow net is a large square-sectional bag net made of 4 netting panels, and the front fringes of top and bottom panels are connected to the top and bottom beams respectively. Wire ropes, which is originated from the holding anchor are gradually forked and biforked, and finally 4 pieces of wire rope (biforked pendants) are jointed to each beam. Much convenience caused by long and heavy beams were problemed, then some studies have been carried out to improve the net since 1930's. The most effective improvement were achieved in 1980 by Mr. Han and his colleagues. The key point of improvement was that the beams were removed and the belt shaped shearing device made by canvas was attached to the side panels, the head rope and ground rope to the front fringe of top and bottom panel, and biforked pendants are joined to the shearing device. Even though this is the epoch-making improvement of a stow net, the further study should be required to find out more effective method. The authors carried out a model experiment on the stow net to determine the vertical and horizontal opening of a net mouth, and also examine the front, top and side-view configuration of the net. The model net was constructed depending on the Similarity Law of Fishing Gear in 1/10 and 1/20 scale and set against to the current at shallow and speedy flowing channel. The vertical and horizontal openings were determined by using scaled bamboo poles, and the configuration was observed by using specially prepared observation platform and underwater observation glass, and also photographed by using specially prepared underwater photographic equipment. The results obtained can be summarized as follows: 1. The opening height and width of the shearing device varied in accordance with the relative length of the biforked pendants. Considering the height and width of shearing device in 6 cases of the arrangement system of biforked pendants, the best result was obtained in the case that the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pendents from the bottom-most was 5%, 9% and 4% longer than that. 2. On the top-view configuration the excessive deformation of head rope and ground rope were observed. In the actual net, 54m long head rope and ground rope were attached to the front fringe of top and bottom panels so that the head rope may be lifted to make the net mouth open highly. But actually the head rope and the ground rope are streamed backward without any lift, and also the netting followed the ropes were deformed until the 2/5 in the whole length of the net. This deformation may be guessed to disturb the entrance of fish school into the net and also caused the net to get caught by obstacles in the sea bed and to be broken largely. 3. Hydrodynamic resistance R of the actual net may be deduced as R(kg)=29.2$\times$103 v1.65. It is also expressed as R(kg)=5.9$\times$d/l$\times$ab v1.65. depending on the formula deduced by Koyama to estimate the resistance of trawl nets, where d/l denote the ratio between diameter of netting twine and length of mesh leg in every part of side panel, a and b, the stretched circumference of the mouth and the stretched length of the net, respectively.

This paper deals with a study on mission analysis considering the effectiveness measurement of UAV system operations. This mission analysis process is composed of 5 steps; (1) creation of a base model in MANA, (2) design of input parameter set using experiment design, (3) mapping input parameter set to the MANA scenario file, (4) data farming and model run in batch process, and (5) statistical analysis of the simulation result. In the result of this study, the effect of input parameter to the dependent parameter was shown to decrease in the order classification range, sweep width, height, speed, FOV(Field of view), and classification probability. The study also shows that the operational effectiveness of an improved scenario proposed can increase 10.2% from the base scenario.
