Wheat coleoptile sections were treated with either $1.5{\times}10^{-5}M$ ABA or $5×10^{-5}M$ IAA in vitro, the results may be summarized as follows, 1. The treatmert of IAA decreased the level of high molecular weight RNA F2 and F3 but that with ABA increased the F4 level. 2. IAA caused an increased activity of G2 isozyme, while ABA suppressed the activity of G3 isozyme. 3. The results may suggest that there may exist common effects of IAA and ABA on RNA and RNase. 4. The latent RNase activity caused by SH blocking reagent (p-hydroxymercury benzoate, Pb et al) was not observed.

In this paper, we prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of the following quadratic functional equations $$cf\(\sum_{i=1}^{n}x_i\)+\sum_{j=2}^{n}f\(\sum_{i=1}^{n}x_i-(n+c-1)x_j\)\\=(n+c-1)\(f(x_1)+c\sum_{i=2}^{n}f(x_i)+\sum_{i<j,j=3}^{n}\(\sum_{i=2}^{n-1}f(x_i-x_j\)\),\\Q\(\sum_{i=1}^{n}d_ix_i\)+\sum_{1{\leq}i<j{\leq}n}d_id_jQ(x_i-x_j)=\(\sum_{i=1}^{n}d_i\)\(\sum_{i=1}^{n}d_iQ(x_i)\)$$ in random normed spaces.
Optimum hypering conditions are found for IIIa-J, IIIa-F, 103a-O, 103a-D, and IIa-O plates using hypersensitization machine in KAO. For every experimental plate we get speed gain, fog increment, signal to noise ratio and relative DQE according to hypering time and temperature. The hypersensitization method is baking with 8% hydrogen mixed gas. For IIIa-J, 103a-O, and 103a-D plates treated $65^{\circ}C$, 3 hours baking, the speed gains arc increased by about 10 times, 2 times, and 2 times compared to untreated plates, respectively. The fogs are increased by 0.08, 0.10, and 0.08, respectively. For IIIa-F, IIa-O plates treated $65^{\circ}C$, 2 hours baking, the speed gains are increased by about 4.7 times and 1.8 times compared to untreated plates, respectively. The fogs are increased by 0.15 and 0.04, respectively.
This study deals sith some problems of foreign direct investment and seeks for the ways of activating foreign direct investment (hereafter F.D.I.) by analyzing the Korean economic structure that is faced with the neo-protectivism and nationalism of the advanced or foreign countries currently. During a transformational process in the transitional period of world trade environment, it is necessary for Korea not only to learn the higher technology for advanced countries, but also to apply techonology to their economic structure in order to enter into competition with the advanced countries. Based on the experiences and accomplishments from their investments, Korean enterprises should turn their business into F.D.I. and act appropriately in order to keep the balance between indoor and outdoor investment. Looking through the ways to activate F.D.I., we may make conclusions as follows: 1. Government policy transparency 2. Prudential Macro Economic policy 3. International policy coorperation system 4. Solidification of Foreign Commercial intercourse to Developing countries 5. Globalixation base of domestic coorperation 6. High efficiency- low cost of business coorperation enterprise 7. Attacktive investiestment strategies on conclusive competive advantage 8. Multilateral investment Area 9. New recognixation on marketing investment etc. F.D.I. strategies
An analysis of emotional English utterances with 7 emotions (calm, happy, sad, angry, fearful, disgust, surprised) was conducted using the measurement of prosodic distance between 672 emotional and 48 neutral utterances. Applying the technique proposed in the automatic evaluation model of English pronunciation to the present study on emotional utterances, Euclidean distance measurement of 3 prosodic elements such as F0, intensity and duration extracted from emotional and neutral utterances was utilized. This paper, furthermore, extended the analytical methods to include Euclidean distance normalization, z-score and z-score normalization resulting in 4 groups of measurement schemes (sqrF0, sqrINT, sqrDUR; norsqrF0, norsqrINT, norsqrDUR; sqrzF0, sqrzINT, sqrzDUR; norsqrzF0, norsqrzINT, norsqrzDUR). All of the results from perceptual analysis and acoustical analysis of emotional utteances consistently indicated the greater effectiveness of norsqrF0, norsqrINT and norsqrDUR, among 4 groups of measurement schemes, which normalized the Euclidean measurement. The greatest acoustical change of prosodic information influenced by emotion was shown in the values of F0 followed by duration and intensity in descending order according to the effect size based on the estimation of distance between emotional utterances and neutral counterparts. Tukey Post Hoc test revealed 4 homogeneous subsets (calm
Synthesis of ZnCo2O3 oxide is performed by sol-gel method via nitrate-citrate route. Powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) study shows monoclinic unit cell having lattice parameters: a = 5.721(1) Å, b = 8.073(2) Å, c = 5.670(1) Å, β = 93.221(8)°, space group P2/m and Z = 4. Average crystallite sizes determined by Scherrer equation are the range ~14-32 nm, whereas SEM micrographs show nano-micro meter size particles formed in ZnCo2O3. Endothermic peak at ~798 K in the Differential scanning calorimetric (DSC) trace without weight loss could be due to structural transformation and the endothermic peak ~1143 K with weight loss is due to reversible loss of O2 in air atmosphere. Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis profile shows the presence of elements Zn, Co and O which indicates the purity of the sample. Magnetic measurements in the range of +12 kOe to -12 kOe at 10 K, 77 K, 120 K and at 300 K by PPMS-II Physical Property Measurement System (PPMS) shows hysteresis loops having very low values of the coercivity and retentivity which indicates the weakly ferromagnetic nature of the oxide. Observed X-band EPR isotropic lineshapes at 300 K and 77 K show positive g-shift at giso ~2.230 and giso ~2.217, respectively which is in agreement with the presence of paramagnetic site Co2+(3d7) in the oxide. DC conductivity value of 2.875 ×10-8 S/cm indicates very weakly semiconducting nature of ZnCo2O3 at 300 K. DRS absorption bands ~357 nm, ~572 nm, ~619 nm and ~654 nm are due to the d-d transitions 4T1g(4F)→2Eg(2G), 4T1g(4F)→4T1g(4P), 4T1g(4F)→4A2g(4F), 4T1g(4F)→4T2g(4F), respectively in octahedral ligand field around Co2+ ions. Direct band gap energy, Eg~ 1.5 eV in the oxide is obtained by extrapolating the linear part of the Tauc plot to the energy axis indicates fairly strong semiconducting nature of ZnCo2O3.
The use of mouth-rinses containing sodium fluoride after tooth brushing has been proposed as a potentially useful measure for the prevention of dental caries in the practice of public health. About 700 middle school girls rinsed their mouths in the school once a week with sodium fluoride sodution after tooth-brushing. Tooth brushing was practiced everyday after meals and the rinses were carried out under the supervision of the teachers. The procedure consisted of gargling 10cc of fluoride solution for one minute and immediately followed by a second rinse with tap water. The rinsing was started in May 1976 and continued for one year. The results were as follows: 1) The inhibition of the 'D' Person rate was 76.04%, 'M' person rate was 80.79%, 'F' person rate was 4.06% and, 'D.M.F.' person rate was 76.86%. 2) the reduction of the 'D.T.' Index was 81.94%, 'M.T.' Index was 85.71%, 'F.T.' Index was 7.69% and, 'D.M.F.T.' Index was 76.83%. 3) Mouth rinsing with 0.3% NaF solution and tooth brushing are of value in the mass control of dental caries.
This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of type of culture media (BM, G2, OS, TCM, and MEM) on B6D2F1 mice oogenesis. In the present study, B6D2F1/CrljOri $F_1$ mice were utilized in order to maximize oogenesis. Also we used TCM-199, Dulbecco's medified Eagle's medium (DMEM), embryo culture medium (Fertilization medium, Cleavage medium, Blastocyst medium), G series medium and One step medium. In vitro maturation was highest in BM followed by the order of OS, MEM, TCM and G2 ($90{\pm}2.8%>88{\pm}3.2%>85{\pm}4.9%>78{\pm}10.2%>64{\pm}7.7%$, respectively). To note, the G2 group was statistically different compared to other groups (p<0.05). On the other hand the fertilization rate was highest in the G2 group followed by BM, OS, TCM, and MEM ($87{\pm}7.2%>85{\pm}6.9%>74{\pm}14.0%>71{\pm}13.8%>2{\pm}1.4%$, respectively). The MEM group was significantly lower compared to other groups (p<0.05). The developmental rate was highest in the OS group followed by the G2 group and the BM group albeit no statistical significance was noted ($73{\pm}11.6%>71{\pm}9.2%>66{\pm}10.4%$). Of note, all cells of the TCM and MEM groups were died during embryonic development. The zona hatched rate ($51{\pm}9.8%$ vs. $50{\pm}9.1%$ vs. $47{\pm}7.2%$ for BM, G2, and OS respectively) and attached rate ($45{\pm}12.3%$ vs. $38{\pm}16.1%$ vs. $37{\pm}11.5%$ for BM, G2, and OS respectively) were not different amongst groups. No difference was found in total cell numbers ($74{\pm}13.9$ vs. $64{\pm}9.2$ vs. $76{\pm}6.7$ for BM, G2, and OS respectively), ICM cell numbers ($20{\pm}1.9$ vs. $14{\pm}1.8$ vs. $15{\pm}2.1$), TE cell numbers ($55{\pm}12.5$ vs. $49{\pm}10.7$ vs. $61{\pm}5.9$), % ICM ($30{\pm}2.8%$ vs. $24{\pm}7.0%$ vs. $22.8{\pm}2.2%$) and ICM:TE ratio ($1:2{\pm}0.5$ vs. $1:3.1{\pm}0.8$ vs. $1:3.1{\pm}0.5$) amongst groups. In summary, these results can provide fundamental data to maximize culture condition for in vitro fertilization on B6D2F1 mice.
This study was performed to investigate the effect of types of oil (OVOIL vs. OIL) on B6D2F1 mice oogenesis. In this study, B6D2F1 F1 mice were used in order to maximize oogenesis. The expansion rate of cumulus cells ($82.0%{\pm}0.2$ vs. $78.0%{\pm}0.1$), in vitro fertilization rate ($92.0%{\pm}0.1$ vs. $88.0%{\pm}0.1$), developmental rate ($91.0%{\pm}0.1$ vs. $87.0%{\pm}0.2$), blastocysts formation rate ($56.0%{\pm}0.1$ vs. $57.0%{\pm}0.1$), and zona hatched rate($41.4%{\pm}0.2$ vs. $24.0%{\pm}0.1$) were not different between groups (NS; P>0.05). However, there was a significant difference in maturation rate; the OVOIL group showed higher maturation rate compared to that of the OIL group ($96.0%{\pm}0.1$ vs. $87.0%{\pm}0.1$; P<0.05). In the blastocysts cell numbers, the total cell numbers ($83.9{\pm}26.1$ vs. $56.9{\pm}23.9$), ICM cell numbers ($15.7{\pm}8.8$ vs. $6.3{\pm}3.5$), TE cell numbers ($68.3{\pm}25.7$ vs. $50.7{\pm}24.1$), % ICM ($21.6%{\pm}0.1$ vs. $12.7%{\pm}0.1$), and the ratio of ICM:TE ($1:6.2{\pm}6.5$ vs. $1:10.3{\pm}7.0$) were significantly higher in the OVOIL group than the OIL group (P<0.05). These results suggested that it is expected to achieve the more developmental ability of B6D2F1 mice depending on the type of oil (OVOIL vs. OIL). In addition, the results can provide essential information for culture condition on B6D2F1 mice. Henceforth, thus, it is expected that these results herein might be used for in vitro culture of human embryos.
Earlier in 1935[12], M. S. Robertson introduced the class of quadrant preserving functions. More precisely, let Q be the class of all functions f(z) analytic in the unit disk $D = {z : $\mid$z$\mid$ < 1}$ such that f(0) = 0, f'(0) = 1, and the range f(z) is in the j-th quadrant whenever z is in the j-th quadrant of D, j = 1,2,3,4. This class Q contains the subclass of normalized, odd univalent functions which have real coefficients. On the other hand, this class Q is contained in the class T of odd typically real functions which was introduced by W. Rogosinski [13]. Clearly, if $f \in Q$, then f(z) is real when z is real and therefore the coefficients of f are all real. Recently, it was observed by Y. Abu-Muhanna and T. H. MacGregor [1] that any function $f \in Q$ is odd. Instead of functions "preserving quadrants", the authors [1] have introduced the notion of "preserving sectors".
