국내·외 패션교육에 있어서 3D 어패럴 CAD 시스템 활용 사례연구 (A Study on the Cases of the Application of 3D Apparel CAD System to the Domestic and Overseas Fashion Education)

  • The development of computer graphics and Internet technology has created a 3D Web-based virtual world that has transformed the global fashion industry environment. In this study, the application cases of 3D virtual fashion education were analyzed to discuss the necessity and application of a 3D apparel CAD curriculum as part of a special education for global fashion talent at Korean fashion-related colleges. Prior studies, literature, photo data and Internet data (in and out of Korea) were used for this study. The demonstration case studies were conducted for the virtual fashion education 'SLCC 2007' of Buffalo State College (U.S.), 'Ratava's Line (2004)' of SFU/FIT Collaborative Design Project (Canada and U.S.) and '2011 Graduation Fashion Show' of Ueda Fashion College (Japan). The results of the study show that the 3D apparel CAD system (as a core technology of the IT fashion industry) would allow the current mass production concept to change to a new paradigm of 'mass customization' along with new fashion business types that include global fashion companies and Web-based Internet, mobile and virtual-world shopping malls. In addition, it appears that the system should be included in the curriculum of fashion-related colleges and institutes to educate technical designers for the global fashion industry and global fashion talent with comprehensive system operation and management ability, and to promote single proprietor companies.

저작권 보호를 위한 선, 호 및 다각형면 성분 기반의 CAD 설계도면의 워터마킹 기법 (A Watermarking Scheme of CAD Design Drawing Based on Line, Arc, and Polygon Face Components for Copyright Protection)

  • 본 논문에서는 3D CAD 설계도면의 저작권 보호를 위한 워터마킹 방법을 제안한다. 제안한 방법에서는 3D CAD 설계도면의 기본성분인 선, 호 및 다각형면 성분 내에 이진 워터마크를 각각 삽입한다. 삽입 대상 성분은 3개 성분들 중 임의로 선택되거나 도면 내에 각 성분 분포에 따라 선택되어진다. 우선 라인 성분에서는 삽입 대상 라인의 길이와 연결된 라인들의 평균 길이 비율에 워터마크가 삽입된다. 또한 아크 성분에서는 아크의 중점을 기준으로 곡률 반경에 워터마크가 삽입되고, 다각형면 성분에서는 두 면의 길이 비율에 워터마크가 삽입된다. 실험결과로부터 제안한 방법이 파일변환, 회전, 이동, 스케일링, 성분 제거 및 레이어 제거 등과 같은 공격에 대하여 견고하며, 워터마크가 삽입된 각 성분의 SNR이 39.89-42.50 dB임을 확인하였다.

  • Recently a construction industry introduces information that brings about many advantages in the early planning phase, design phase and construction phase. Especially it replaces 2D, 3D systems(usually using explanation of drawing information) ai 4D CAD(offering a sort of 4D-having relation of construction schedule and 3D drawing information). Nevertheless a 4D has these benefits, it has limits which are not only usually using 3D modeling but also limit of making full use of practical affairs because of a lack of connecting varietals of progress of work. To solve these uppermost limits, this research is presenting unified systems to use in risk management which are efficient management of space and non-space information, space analysis, making full use of data base, introducing GIS system of easy interaction.

의미론적 제품 데이터 모델 기반 초기 선체 구조 CAD 시스템 개발 (On the Development of an initial Hull Structural CAD System based on the Semantic Product Data Model)

  • In the initial stages of ship design, designers represent geometry, arrangement, and dimension of hull structures with 2D geometric primitives such as points, lines, arcs, and drawing symbols. However, these design information(‘2D geometric primitives’) defined in the drawing sheet require more intelligent translation processes by the designers in the next design stages. Thus, the loss of design semantics could be occurred and following design processes could be delayed. In the initial design stages, it is not easy to adopt commercial 3D CAD systems, which have been developed f3r being used in detail and production design stages, because the 3D CAD systems require detailed input for geometry definition. In this study, a semantic product model data structure was proposed, and an initial structural CAD system was developed based on the proposed data structure. Contents(‘product model data and design knowledges’) of the proposed data structure are filled with minimal input of the designers, and then 3D solid model and production material information can be automatically generated as occasion demands. Finally, the applicability of the proposed semantic product model data structure and the developed initial structural CAD system was verified through application to deadweight 300,000ton VLCC(Very Large Crude oil Carrier) product modeling procedure.

조선해양 기자재 3D CAD 단품 데이터 간략화 시스템 개발 (Development of 3D CAD Part Data Simplification System for Ship and Offshore Plant Equipment)

  • It is necessary to construct equipment catalog in ship outfitting design and offshore plant design. The three-dimensional CAD data of equipment take on different level-of-detail depending on the purpose. Equipment suppliers provide CAD data with high complexity while ship designers need CAD data with low complexity. Therefore, it is necessary to simplify CAD data. However, it takes much time to simplify them manually. To resolve the issue, a system for automatically simplifying the 3D CAD data of equipment was developed. This paper presents the architecture of the system and the implementation details. In addition, experiment result using the prototype system is explained.

  • 현재까지 의치는 전통적인 방법을 이용하여 제작하는 것이 일반적이지만, 최근 디지털 기술의 발달로 이를 이용한 의치 제작 빈도가 증가하는 추세이다. 디지털 방식을 이용하여 의치를 제작하는 방법에는 인상체를 3D 스캔하여 CAD 상에서 인공치를 배열한 뒤 이를 3D 프린팅하여 레진상 총의치를 제작하는 방식과 모델을 3D 스캔 후 CAD를 이용하여 frame-work을 디자인하고 3D 프린팅으로 resin pattern을 제작하여 이를 주조 후 금속상 총의치나 국소의치를 제작하는 방식이 대표적이다. 본 증례에서는 디지털 방식의 의치 제작 방법으로써 전자 서베잉을 이용한 진단과 CAD 프로그램을 이용한 framework 디자인, 그리고 이를 3D 프린팅 후 주조하여 상악 총의치와 하악 국소의치를 제작하였으며, 만족스러운 결과를 얻었기에 이를 보고하고자 한다.

CLO 3D 아바타 사이징과 실제인체간의 치수 및 형태 차이 비교 분석 (A Comparative Analysis of the Different between CLO 3D Avatar Sizing and Actual Body Measurement Shapes)

  • This study aims to use the avatar sizing system of the 3D apparel CAD program instead of the existing 3D body scanners, and to commercialize 3D personal avatars. Towards these ends, the study examined a difference between a 3D avatar and actual body was determined to verify the 3D avatar sizing system. For the experiment, three subjects were selected, were measured as they were, and were made to undergo 3D body scanning and photographing. Then, using avatar sizing system on the 3D apparel CAD program, three types of virtual bodies, namely 3D avatars. The 3D avatar and actual body measurements were compared, and 3D avatars and 3D body-scanned shapes were likewise compared. As a result, the three types of actual bodies and their 3D avatars that were created based on the sizing system of the 3D apparel CAD program were overall similar. but, the thin body-YY type and the normal body-A type were different from their avatars. In the case of type B, who had a bulging abdomen, the 3D avatar was bigger than the actual body as measured. Also, in all body shapes, the girths around the chest, waist and abdomen were produced with exaggerated muscular amounts compared to their actual muscular amounts.

웹 기반 협동CAD시스템의 솔리드 모델러 개발 (Development of a Solid Modeler for Web-based Collaborative CAD System)

  • 본 논문은 인터넷 웹 상에서 협동작업으로 이루어지는 CAD시스템의 3차원 솔리드 모델러를 보여준다. 협동CAD시스템의 클라이언트는 자바 애플릿을 통해 웹 상에서 접근하고 솔리드 모델러 서버는 접속을 통제하는 접속관리자, 작업 그룹의 동기화를 유지하며 공유작업공간을 확보하는 작업관리자, 그리고 3차원 도형 객체를 생성하고 변형시키는 솔리드 모델러로 이루어져 있다. 솔리드 모델러의 시스템 라이브러리는 워크스페이스 클래스, 뷰 클래스, 평행투영 뷰 클래스, 원근투영 뷰 클래스, 솔리드 클래스 등으로 되어 있다. 기본도형을 생성하여 이동, 회전, 확대·축소하고, 다른 툴을 이용하여 제작한 오브젝트를 불러올 수 있다. 트리 형태의 장면그래프를 사용하므로 전체 구조를 쉽게 알 수 있고, 부분적 결합이 가능하며 오브젝트의 선택이나 조작에 있어서 하위계층을 쉽게 제어할 수 있다. Java 3D를 이용하여 개발함으로 써 많은 그래픽 라이브러리들의 특징을 편리하게 이용할 수 있으며, 다른 라이브러리에서 사용하지 않는 뷰, 렌더렁, 애니메이션 등과 같은 새로운 기술들을 포함시킬 수 있다.
