Recently, the development of the head mounted display (HMD) device has attracted a great deal of attention to the actual contents. Especially, Augmented Reality (AR), which is a mixture of actual information and virtual world information, is focused on. AR HMD is able to interact by arranging virtual objects in real space through spatial recognition using depth camera. In order to naturally mix virtual space with real space, it is necessary to develop a technology for realizing spatial mapping information with high accuracy. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the optimal configuration of augmented reality application program by realizing accurate spatial mapping information when mapping a real space and an object placement environment using HoloLens. To do this, we changed the spatial mapping information in real space to three levels, which are the number of meshes used in cubic meters to scan step by step. After that, it was compared with the 3D model obtained by changing the actual space and mesh number. Experimental result shows that the higher the number of meshes used in cubic meters, the higher the accuracy between real space and spatial mapping. This paper is expected to be applied to augmented reality application programs that require scanning of highly mapped spatial mapping information.
SIFT is popularly used in computer vision application such as object recognition, motion tracking, and 3D reconstruction among various shape descriptors. However, it is not easy to apply SIFT into the image similarity search as it is since it uses many high dimensional keypoint vectors. In this paper, we present a SIFT based image similarity search method using an edge image pyramid and an interesting region detection. The proposed method extracts keypoints, which is invariant to contrast, scale, and rotation of image, by using the edge image pyramid and removes many unnecessary keypoints from the image by using the hough transform. The proposed hough transform can detect objects of ellipse type so that it can be used to find interesting regions. Experimental results demonstrate that the retrieval performance of the proposed method is about 20% better than that of traditional SIFT in average recall.

Attitude 1. The rate of women who gained guilt feeling after induced abortion was 52.7%, out of total 41.4% was responsed careless thinking if they have a proper reason. 2. Attitude about induced abortion when they have unwanted baby was absolutely necessary in 57.3%, relatively necessary in 30.6%, that is, most of women showed to want induced abortion if necessary. D. Practice 1. The women who have experienced induced abortion was only one times in 44.7%, two times in 22.0%, three times in 17.7%, total average times were 2.3. 2. The reason for induced abortion was highest due to limitation of family (38.0%), next failure of Contraception (15.8%). 3. The operating sites of induced abortion were local clinics in 93.0%, universal hospital in 7.0%. The difference was remakable. 4. The rate of complicated cases after induced abortion was 54.7%, among them, general weakness in 32.3%, vaginal bleeding or spotting in 23.8% and abdominal discomfortness or lumbago in 17.7%. When symptom appeared, the rate of treated Cases was 74.4%, their sites were general hospitals in 54.1%, local clincis in 18.0%, Herb medications in 15.6% and pharmaceutics in 12.3 in that order. 5. The average times of induced abortion follows by educational level were 2.6 in graduated elimentary school group, each 2.4 in graduated middle school and College group, 2.2 in graduated high school in that order. 6. The average times of induced abortion follows by ages were most with 3.3% in upper than 40 years old. The average times of all surveyed cases were 2.3.
Despite the recognition of the need for productivity information and its importance, the feedback of productivity information is not well-established in the construction industry. Effective use of productivity information is required to improve the reliability of construction planning. However, in many cases, on-site productivity information is hardly management effectively, but rather it relies on the experience and/or intuition of project participants. Based on the literature review and expert interviews, the authors recognized that one of the possible solutions is to develop a systematic approach in dealing with productivity information of the construction job-sites. It is required that the new system should not be burdensome to users, purpose-oriented information management, easy-to follow information structure, real-time information feedback, and productivity-related factor recognition. Based on the preliminary investigations, this study proposed a framework for a novel system that facilitate the effective management of construction productivity information. This system has utilized Sketchup software which has good user accessibility by minimizing additional data input and related workload. The proposed system has been designed to input, process, and output the pertinent information through a four-stage process: preparation, input, processing, and output. The inputted construction information is classified into Task Breakdown Structure (TBS) and Material Breakdown Structure (MBS), which are constructed by referring to the contents of the standard specification of building construction, and converted into productivity information. In addition, the converted information is also graphically visualized on the screen, allowing the users to use the productivity information from the job-site. The productivity information management system proposed in this study has been pilot-tested in terms of practical applicability and information availability in the real construction project. Very positive results have been obtained from the usability and the applicability of the system and benefits are expected from the validity test of the system. If the proposed system is used in the planning stage in the construction, the productivity information and the continuous information is accumulated, the expected effectiveness of this study would be conceivably further enhanced.
Light detection and ranging (LiDAR) sensors detect the distance of the surrounding environment and objects. Conventional LiDAR sensors require a certain amount of a power because they detect objects by transmitting lasers at a regular interval depending on a constant resolution. The constant power consumption from operating multiple LiDAR sensors is detrimental to autonomous and electric vehicles using battery power. In this paper, we propose two algorithms that improve the inefficient power consumption during the constant operation of LiDAR sensors. LiDAR sensors with algorithms efficiently reduce the power consumption in two ways: (a) controlling the resolution to vary the laser transmission period (TP) of a laser diode (LD) depending on the vehicle's speed and (b) reducing the static power consumption using a sleep mode depending on the surrounding environment. A proposed LiDAR sensor with a resolution control algorithm reduces the power consumption of the LD by 6.92% to 32.43% depending on the vehicle's speed, compared to the maximum number of laser transmissions (Nx·max). The sleep mode with a surrounding environment-sensing algorithm reduces the power consumption by 61.09%. The proposed LiDAR sensor has a risk factor for 4-cycles that does not detect objects in the sleep mode, but we consider it to be negligible because it immediately switches to an active mode when a change in surrounding conditions occurs. The proposed LiDAR sensor was tested on a commercial processor chip with the algorithm controlling the resolution according to the vehicle's speed and the surrounding environment.
In this paper, the development of an automotive thermal imaging camera providing image information for ADAS (Advanced Driver Assist System) and autonomous vehicles is described and an improved technique to enhance the details of the image is proposed. Thermal imaging cameras are used in various fields, such as the medical, industrial and military fields, for the purpose of temperature measurement and night vision. In automobiles, they are utilized for night vision systems. For their utilization in ADAS and autonomous vehicles, appropriate image resolution and enhanced detail are required for object recognition. In this study, a
The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70
