착화기 3차원 유동의 전산 해석 연구 (Computational Analysis of Three-Dimensional Flow in PMD igniter)

  • 본 연구에서는 PMD 내부 유동 해석을 위한 3차원 착화기 모델링 및 전산 해석을 수행하였다. Lumped parameter method를 이용하여 착화기 모델링을 진행하였고, 이를 상용 프로그램과 연동하여 전산 해석을 수행하였다. 전산 해석의 결과는 CBT 및 PMD 실험 결과값과 비교하였다.

Neutronics analysis of TRIGA Mark II research reactor

  • This article presents clean core criticality calculations and control rod worth calculations for TRIGA (Training, Research, Isotope production-General Atomics) Mark II research reactor benchmark cores using Winfrith Improved Multi-group Scheme-D/4 (WIMS-D/4) and Program for Reactor In-core Analysis using Diffusion Equation (PRIDE) codes. Cores 133 and 134 were analyzed in 2-D (r, ${\theta}$) and 3-D (r, ${\theta}$, z), using WIMS-D/4 and PRIDE codes. Moreover, the influence of cross-section data was also studied using various libraries based on Evaluated Nuclear Data File (ENDF/B-VI.8 and VII.0), Joint Evaluated Fission and Fusion File (JEFF-3.1), Japanese Evaluated Nuclear Data Library (JENDL-3.2), and Joint Evaluated File (JEF-2.2) nuclear data. The simulation results showed that the multiplication factor calculated for all these data libraries is within 1% of the experimental results. The reactivity worth of the control rods of core 134 was also calculated with different homogenization approaches. A comparison was made with experimental and reported Monte Carlo results, and it was found that, using proper homogenization of absorber regions and surrounding fuel regions, the results obtained with PRIDE code are significantly improved.

Numerical Modeling of an Inductively Coupled Plasma Based Remote Source for a Low Damage Etch Back System

  • Fluid model based numerical analysis is done to simulate a low damage etch back system for 20 nm scale semiconductor fabrication. Etch back should be done conformally with very high material selectivity. One possible mechanism is three steps: reactive radical generation, adsorption and thermal desorption. In this study, plasma generation and transport steps are analyzed by a commercial plasma modeling software package, CFD-ACE+. Ar + $CF_4$ ICP was used as a model and the effect of reactive gas inlet position was investigated in 2D and 3D. At 200~300 mTorr of gas pressure, separated gas inlet scheme is analyzed to work well and generated higher density of F and $F_2$ radicals in the lower chamber region while suppressing ions reach to the wafer by a double layer conducting barrier.

  • In this study, we develop automatic design program, which create 3D model of spur gear and helical gear used VisualLISP and create helical gear in the CATIA using 2D profile of gear. This model become the standard models which give not only in itself mold information but also compare processed product with measuring date. Spur gear require mathematical examination of involute curve and trocoidal fillet curve. Automatic design program, which have a mathematical development create the profile of spur gear.

  • In this paper, we developed a Windows 98 version of off-line programming system which can simulate a track vehicle model in 3D graphics space. The track vehicle was adopted as an objective model. The interface between users and the off-line program system in the Windows 98´s graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by Silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics.

  • The design methodology of injection molding die has been changed from two-dimensional drafting to three-dimensional solid modeling, which is due to many advantages over the conventional methodology in terms of design modification and data associativity. In addition to the solid modeling capability, it is required for a mold designer to utilize a database management system that facilitates efficient mold design. In the paper presented is the implementation of a software program which automatically generates three-dimensional mold-bases including standard parts and slider parts, conforming to given geometric constraints. It is based on a commercial CAD system (Unigraphics NX) along with related API (application program interface) libraries. The research is expected to reduce design efforts and simplify construction of a complex three-dimensional mold-base model that is comprised of standard parts and slider parts, by use of the three-dimensional database and automatized geometric dimensioning.

고정밀 LiDAR DEM을 이용한 토공량 계산 프로그램 개발 (Development of Earth-Volume Estimation Program using the precise LiDAR DEM)

  • 본 연구에서는 3차원 지형공간정보를 기반으로 한 정밀한 토공량 모델링을 통해 토목 건설공사의 효율성을 향상시키기 위한 토공량 계산 프로그램인 EWS 프로그램을 개발하였다. EWS 프로그램은 LiDAR DEM을 이용한 정확한 토공량 계산과 건설장비의 단위 작업량을 기반으로 한 토공 공정계획수립이 가능하도록 개발되었다. 또한 계산된 결과를 건설현장에서 보다 직관적인 이해하고 이에 따른 분석 결과를 쉽게 공유할 수 있도록 하기 위해 Google Earth를 이용한 3D 가시화도 지원이 가능하다. 개발된 프로그램의 현장 적용성 검증을 위해 DAS 프로그램과의 토공량 계산 결과 및 토공 이동계획을 비교하였으며, 검증을 위한 대상지역으로 경기도 포천시 신북면 일원의 신포천 변전소 건설현장을 선정하였다. 최종적인 비교 결과, 본 연구에서 개발된 EWS 프로그램을 이용하는 경우 정밀한 3차원 지형공간정보를 통해 정확한 토공량 계산이 가능하며, 보다 합리적인 토량 이동계획 및 토공작업의 수립할 수 있어 건설현장에서의 생산성 향상 효과를 기대할 수 있을 것으로 판단되었다.

UAV를 이용한 돔형 원자력 격납건물 외관조사를 위한 3차원 모델기반 비행 좌표 생성 방법 (3-D Model-based UAV Path Generation for Visual Inspection of the Dome-type Nuclear Containment Building)

  • This paper provides a method for generating flight path of Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) that is intended to be used in visual inspection of dome-type nuclear containment building. The method basically employs 3-D model to extract accurate location coordinates. Two basic route patterns that provide guide lines in defining moving locations were defined for each side wall and dome section of the containment. The route patterns support sequential capturing of images as well. In addition, several simple equations and an algorithm for calculation of the moving location on the route were developed on the basis of 3-D geometric characteristics of the containment building. A prototype computer program has been implemented to validate the proposed method, and a case study shows the method can visualize covering area in 3-D model as well.

건설 시공현장의 3D기반 광대역 모델링을 위한 Sensor 기술 분석과 향후 현장적용 모델 연구 (Study of Sensor Technology Analysis and Site Application Model for 3D-based Global Modeling of Construction Field)

  • 최근 건설산업의 현장 생산성이 점차 저하되는 현실을 개선하기 위하여 시공과정에서의 프로세스 개선이 중요 사항으로 부각되고 있다. 이에 따라 다양한 3D 센싱기법이 개발되어 적용되고 있지만 구체적인 장비 적용성 및 기술검토는 부족하다. 본 연구의 목적은 시공과정에서 3D기반 광대역 모델링 기술을 활용한 건설현장의 3D구현을 통해 실시간으로 현장의 실시간 변화상황을 파악하여 현장관리의 효율화는 물론 시공 진척도 측정 및 공정관리 과정의 정보흐름 활성화를 통해 현장 생산성 증대에 기여하는 것이며 이를 위해 모델링 관련 알고리즘과 광대역 현장 구현관련 기술의 조사연구를 실시하였다. 시공현장 실시간 현장 모니터링 정보를 제공함으로써 안전사고 발생율 감소와 함께 현장정보 데이터베이스의 구축과 활용을 통한 향후 유사공사 적용 및 우리 건설산업 생산 프로세스 개선의 계기가 될 수 있을 것이다. 나아가 건설산업 전체 이미지 제고에도 큰 역할을 할 수 있으리라 사료된다.

  • We propose a unmaned integrating control system based-on Windows XP version Off-Line Programming System which can simulate a Robot model in 3D Graphics space in this paper. The robot with 4 and 6 axes modeled SM5 and AM1 respectively were adopted as an objective model. Forward kinematics, inverse kinematics and robot dynamics modeling were included in the developed off-line program. The interface between users and the off-line programming system in the Windows XP's graphic user interface environment was also studied. The developing language is Microsoft Visual C++. Graphic libraries, OpenGL, by silicon Graphics, Inc. were utilized for 3D Graphics.
