A Study of Technical Innovation Model of Digital Contents (디지털콘텐츠의 기술기반 진화모델연구)

  • Digital Media have been advanced and disseminated at the same time around the world. Digital contents have been evolved while Product Technology and Process Technology of 3D Digital Animation and On-line game have completed the innovative developments. First of all, several problems can be occurred when product technology can not lead the evolvement of digital contents. To accomplish the evolvement of both product technology and process technology of digital contents, the whole production system and process system must be modulized. Modulization of system can be completed by the consistent and stable integration of platform. Modulization of production system can bring out the modulization of product technology and then the modulization of technology can speed up the commercialization and market test.

Comparative Study of 3D Gen-AI Platform for Spatial Computing (공간 컴퓨팅 적용을 위한 3D 생성 AI 플랫폼 비교 연구)

  • This study aims to compare and analyze the functionality and efficiency of 3D generation AI platforms to evaluate their practical applicability in the 3D content creation process and suggest improvement directions. A total of nine platforms were researched using search, and four platforms were selected based on their utilization of the latest technology, compatibility, and user accessibility. We used the same prompts to create 3D objects on each platform and analyzed the results, focusing on whether they were customizable, beneficial for creating immersive content, efficient in production, free to test, or good value for money. The results showed that Meshy and Tripo performed well with fast generation speeds and efficient polygon optimization, while Spline offered a wide range of media application capabilities but was limited in quality. We found that different 3D generation AI platforms are suitable for different production pipelines and user needs. This study provides practitioners interested in 3D content creation with a practical guide for platform selection and provides insights into the future direction of 3D generative AI technology, which will contribute to future research and industrial applications.

From the experience, many problems were deduced in terms of 3D cinema techniques and work-flow. this study is analysis of 's production. The analysis is focused on the problems from the 3D cinema production and pipeline of . By making an analysis the experience, trial and error of production, it will be giving practical information and analysis result to staffs who are willing to create an next Korean 3D cinema. As a result of analysis, has failed to achieve technical accomplishment and to build effective production pipeline. Never the less, it is positively evaluated that it has tried to establish the foundation of Korean 3D cinema production.

  • This study defines the pipeline for digital fashion contents production using CLO 3D, a 3D fashion design software that supports virtual clothing visualization as a cutting-edge simulation technology for fashion, and vuforia, a mobile platform augmented reality (AR) development kit for creating AR applications. The proposed production pipeline is organized in a method to produce a virtual clothing model through CLO 3D software through works of patterns, sewing lines, textures, etc., and AR contents based on computer vision techniques using the functions and properties of vuforia development kits in the Unity engine development environment. In addition, we present application method that can be practically utilized from the perspective of practical users, such as fashion designers and directors, by creating a new type of AR digital fashion contents directly as a flow of the defined production pipeline.

  • The current 3D CG animation pipe line, which is the production system, does not have an effective solution that all animation departments are able to start their jobs independently against other animation departments. It is generally acknowledged that we could not do animating task before the modeling and set-up task. This kind of process has caused loss of labour. We could expect lasting problems which is stopping marking animating process before the previous process done again in case of requiring editing the jobs which are modeling and set-up. We could solve these "bottleneck" situation with "master character" defined as standard, so that animate and retake the job independently against other departments. These new process could accelerate the animation pipe line system.

A Study on The Metaverse Content Production Pipeline using ZEPETO World (제페토 월드를 활용한 메타버스 콘텐츠 제작 공정에 관한 연구)

  • This study proposes the metaverse content production pipeline using ZEPETO World, one of the representative metaverse platforms in Korea. Based on the Unity 3D engine, the ZEPETO world is configured using the ZEPETO template, and the core functions of the metaverse content that enable multi-user participation such as logic, interaction, and property control are implemented through the ZEPETO script. This study utilizes the basic functions such as properties, events, and components of the ZEPETO script as well as the ZEPETO player which includes avatar loading, character movement, and camera control functions. In addition, based on ZEPETO's properties such as World Multiplayer and Client Starter, it summarizes the core synchronization process required for multiplay metaverse content production, such as object transformation, dynamic object creation, property addition, and real-time property control. Based on this, we check the proposed production pipeline by directly producing multiplay metaverse content using ZEPETO World.

  • 3D프린팅으로 인한 제품 및 공정의 혁신은 비즈니스모델에도 커다란 영향을 미친다. 3D프린팅은 제작시간절감, 정밀성향상, 소재개발 등의 단점을 극복하기 위해 다양한 기술을 통해 신산업을 이끌어갈 원동력으로 작용하고 있다. 본 연구는 3D프린팅 기술이 활용된 패션제품의 사례를 탐구하여 각 제품유형별 특징을 고찰하고, 창의적인 아이디어의 구현과 고객만족을 위한 생산기술의 효율성에 3D프린팅의 기술을 활용도를 통해 패션산업의 발전방향을 모색하고자 한다.

Research of Mobile 3D Dance Contents Construction Using Motion Capture System (모션캡처 시스템을 이용한 모바일 3D 댄스 콘텐츠 제작 연구)

  • By improving performance of mobile machine(3D engine, 3D accelerator chip set, etc) and developing wireless network technology, a demand for actual contents of users is being increased rapidly. But, there are some difficulties yet for the speedy development of actual contents because of the limitation of development resources that is dependent on each mobile device's different performance. In general, much of the animated character-creation work for mobile environment is still done manually by experienced animator with the method of key frame processing. However, it needs a lot of time and more costs for creating motion. Additionally, it is possible to cause a distortion of motion. In this paper, I solved the difficulties by using a optical motion capture system, it was able to acquire accurate motion data more easily and quickly, and then it was possible to make 3D dance contents efficiently. Also, I showed techniques of key reduction and controlling frame number for using huge amounts of motion capture data in mobile environment which requires less resources. In making 3D dance contents, using an optical motion capture system was verified that it was more efficient to make and use actual-reality contents by creating actual character motion and by decreasing processing time than existing method.
