The $Cu_2(btc)_3$ metal-organic frameworks (MOF) coated anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) membrane was successfully prepared by layer-by-layer technique using hand spray method. It was confirmed that the $Cu_2(btc)_3$ layer, which has the pore sized in 2-3 nm, on surface of AAO exhibited the polycrystalline thin film structure by XRD analysis. More than 100 repetitive spray cycles were required to obtain more robust and thick MOFs on AAO and it was possible to uniformly coat both the top and bottom surfaces of the AAO. It should be noted that the MOFs also could be coated on surface of pores resulting in reduce the size of pore from 52 nm to 32 nm.

In this research the effect of bedding layer angle and bedding layer thickness on the shear failure mechanism of concrete has been investigated using PFC3D. For this purpose, firstly calibration of PFC3d was performed using Brazilian tensile strength. Secondly shear test was performed on the bedding layer. Thickness of layers were 5 mm, 10 mm and 20 mm. in each thickness layer, layer angles changes from $0^{\circ}$ to $90^{\circ}$ with increment of $25^{\circ}$. Totally 15 model were simulated and tested by loading rate of 0.016 mm/s. The results shows that when layer angle is less than $50^{\circ}$, tensile cracks initiates between the layers and propagate till coalesce with model boundary. Its trace is too high. With increasing the layer angle, less layer mobilize in failure process. Also the failure trace is very short. It's to be note that number of cracks decrease with increasing the layer thickness. The minimum shear test strength was occurred when layer angle is more than $50^{\circ}$. The maximum value occurred in $0^{\circ}$. Also, the shear test tensile strength was increased by increasing the layer thickness.

In this study, we have investigated the power conversion efficiency of organic solar cells utilizing conjugated polymer/fullerene bulk-hetero junction(BHJ) device structures. We have fabricated poly(3-hexylthiophene)(P3HT), poly[2methoxy-5-(3',7'-dimethyloctyl-oxy)-1-4-phenylenevinylene] as an electron donor, [6,6]-phenyl $C_{61}$ butyric acid methylester(PCBM-$C_{61}$)as an electron acceptor, and poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)-poly(styrenesulfonate)(PEDOT:PSS) used as a hole injection layer(HIL), after fabricated active layer, between active layer and metal cathode(Al) deposited LiF interlayer(5 nm). The properties of fabricated organic solar cell(OSC) devices have been analyzed as a function of different thickness. The electrical characteristics of the fabricated devices were investigated by means J-V, fill factor(FF) and power conversion efficiency(PCE). We observed the highest PCEs of 0.628%(MDMO-PPV:PCBM-$C_{61}$) and 2.3%(P3HT:PCBM-$C_{61}$) with LiF inter-layer at the highest thick active layer, which is 1.3times better than the device without LiF inter-layer.
This study is aimed at preparing and evaluating the plasma resistance of YAS (Y2O3-Al2O3-SiO2) coating layer with crystalline YAG phase contents. For this purpose, YAS frits with controlled phase contents are prepared and melt-coated on sintered Al2O3 ceramics. Then, the results of phase analysis of crystalline YAS coating layer are compared to that of YAS frits, and discussed with regard to the plasma resistance of the YAS coating layer. The phase contents of the YAS frit change in a manner different from that of the prepared YAS coating layer, presumably owing to the composition change of YAS frit during the melt-coating process. The plasma resistance of the YAS coating layer is shown to increase with the YAG phase contents in the coating layer. Comparing the weight loss of YAS coating layer with those of commercial Y2O3, Al2O3, and quartz ceramics, the plasma resistance of the prepared YAS coating layer is 8 times higher than that of quartz and 3 times higher than that of Al2O3; this layer shows 70 % of the resistance of Y2O3.

Fast and accurate new capacitance determination methodology for non-uniform complicated multi-layer VLSI interconnects is presented. Since a capacitance determination of intricate multi-layer interconnects using 3-dimensional field-solver is not practical, quasi-3-dimensional methodology is presented. Interconnects with discontinuity (i.e., bend structure and different spacing between lines, etc.) are partitioned. Then, each partial capacitance of divided parts is extracted by using 2-dimensional extraction methodology. For a multi-layer interconnects with shielding layer, the system can be simplified by investigating a distribution of charge in it. Thereby, quasi-3-dimensional capacitance for multi-layer interconnects can be determined by combining solid-ground based 2-dimensional capacitance and shielding effect which is independently determined with layout dimensions. This methodology for complicated multi-layer interconnects is more accurate and cost-efficient than conventional 3-dimensional methodology It is shown that the quasi-3-dimensional capacitance methodology has excellent agreement with 3-dimensional field- solver-based results within 5% error.
In this paper, we propose a new 3D coding method for heterogeneous systems over enhanced Access Grid (e-AG) with 3D display using spatio-temporal scalability. The proposed encoder produces four bit-streams: one base layer and enhancement layer l, 2 and 3. The base layer represents a video sequence for left eye with lower spatial resolution. An enhancement layer l provides additional bit-stream needed for reproduction of frames produced in base layer with full resolution. Similarly, the enhancement layer 2 represents a video sequence for right eye with lower spatial resolution and an enhancement layer 3 provides additional bit-stream needed for reproduction of its reference pictures with full resolution. In this system, temporal resolution reduction is obtained by dropping B-frames in the receiver according to network condition. The receiver system can select the spatial and temporal resolution of video sequence with its display condition by properly combining bit-streams.

In this paper, sol-gel-spin coated $Pb(ZrTi)O_3$ thin film with $ZrO_2$ buffer-layer and $PbTiO_3$ seed-layer was investigated for vibration MEMS energy harvester to scavenge power from ambient vibration via d33 piezoelectric mode. Piezoelectric thin film deposition techniques on insulating layer is the important key for $d_{33}$ mode of piezoelectric vibration energy harvester. $ZrO_2$ buff-layer was utilized as an insulating layer. $PbTIO_3$ seed-layer was applied as an inter-layer between PZT and $ZrO_2$ layer to improve the crystalline of PZT thin film. The fabricated PZT thin film had a remanent polarization of 5.3uC/$cm^2$ and the coercive field of 60kV/cm. The fabricated energy harvester using PZT thin film with PTO seed-layer generated 1.1uW of electrical power to $2.2M{\Omega}$ of load with $4.4V_{pvp}$ from vibration of 0.39g at 528Hz.

We prepared Organic LED with a two layer structure by vacuum evaporation. The diode consisted of hole transfer layer (thickness of 30, 50, 70 nm) and electron transfer layer (thickness of 70, 50, 30 nm) material, which was N, N'-diphenyl- N, N'-bis-(3-methyl phenyl)-1,1'-diphenyl-4,4'-diamine)(TPD) and tris(8-hydroxy quinoline) aluminum(Alq3), respectively. We investigated EL properties of the LED with various thickness and cathode electrode. The best results were obtained when thickness of the electron layer is equal to that of emission layer and when AlLi alloy was used as a cathode. The EL intensity, luminance and efficiency of organic LED with equal of layer thick were improved seven, three and two times, respectively. Alq3 was ionized by carrier injection from cathode and could produce exitons. After electron-hole pairs were formed by combination of the electrons and holes at the emission layer, Alq3 layer emitted light.
